Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Phet Simulation-Assisted Scientific Approach on Thematic Learning Outcomes. Theme 8 sub-theme 1 learning 1 semester 2 Class IV SDN Pilangbango Madiun. This research uses quantitative research using quasi-experimental method, the design in this research is Non-Equivelent Control Design because this research involves two classes in the sample. The control class uses conventional learning, while the experimental class uses a scientific approach assisted by phet. This study uses documentation in the form of observation sheets, and test results as data collection instruments. The data analysis technique used is validity test, reliability test, level of difficulty, difference power test, t test.

Abstract

Matematika sering dianggap sulit bagi siswa kelas 6karena belum menguasai konsep materi dari kelas. Hal ini terjadi di sekolah dasar Duren 02. Kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa salah satunya pada materi pecahan, di mana siswa kesulitan dalam operasi hitung pecahan yang berbeda bentuk pecahannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar matematika melalui model pembelajaran Think Pair Share pada siswa kelas kelas 6. Tempat penelitian di SDN Duren 02 Pilangkenceng Madiun. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas. Subyek penelitian adalah kelas 6 SDN Duren 02ngan jumlah 14 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes soal matematika berupa operasi hitung pecahan dengan jenis soal pilihan ganda dan uraian. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes dan observasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data hasil observasi dan tes, reduksi data, penyajian dan penarikan Kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran dengan model think pair share menunjukkan dampak positif dan peningkatan ketuntasan belajar yaitu siklus 1 sebanyak 43% dan siklus 2 sebesar 79%. Penggunaan model pembelajaran think pair share diharapkan  tidak hanya digunakan di kelas 6 tetapi juga kelas lain.   Mathematics is often considered difficult for 6th-grade students because they have not mastered the concept of the material from the class. This happened at Duren 02 Elementary School. One of the difficulties faced by students is in the fraction material, where students have difficulty in calculating fractions that have different fraction forms. This study aims to determine the improvement in mathematics learning outcomes through the Think Pair Share learning model in 6th-grade students. The research location was at SDN Duren 02 Pilangkenceng Madiun. This study is a qualitative study with the type of classroom action research. The subjects of the study were 14 students in class 6 of SDN Duren 02. The instrument used in this study used a mathematics test in the form of fractional arithmetic operations with multiple choice and descriptive questions. Data collection techniques were carried out using tests and observations. Data analysis was carried out by collecting data from observations and tests, data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that learning with the think pair share model showed a positive impact and increased learning completeness, namely cycle 1 by 43% and cycle 2 by 79%. The use of the think pair share learning model is expected to be used not only in class 6 but also in other classes.

Abstract

Abstract: Quantum learning is very popular in educational field. It can be implemented easily in elementary school. It will be more interesting when it is collaborated with an application as a learning media. This study aims to investigate the design of quantum learning which is collaborated with Si Raca app and to investigate students’ motivation and reading achievements in it. This study is classroom action research that involves 24 students in the first grade of SD Islam Darussalam Kedungrejo, Sumberrejo, Bojonegoro Regency, East Java. This study utilizes research instruments in form of observation sheets which implement the aspect of ARCH and reading tests with indicators of fluency, accuracy, pronunciation, and intonation. Research procedures are started from analyzing problems, designing actions, implementing actions, and reflecting. The data is analyzed using likert scale and it is calculated using simple formula. Moreover, it is consulted with interval scores. Results of study show that the quantum learning collaborated with Si Raca app in early reading is designed using innovative and interactive approach which implements the syntax of TANDUR. There are 50% of students who improve their motivation and reading achievements very well. It can be concluded that Si Raca app has important role in quantum learning. This application is a learning media which is useful for students in improving their motivation and reading achievements.

Abstract

The Implementation of Indonesian Language Learning Evaluation Procedures in SMK Pekanbaru in The Pandemic Period ABSTRAKDalam proses pembelajaran tidak lepas dengan adanya evaluasi. Evaluasi pembelajaran harus dilakukan secara sistematis dan berkesinambungan guna mengetahui prosedur evaluasi pembelajaran yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan prosedur evaluasi pembelajaran oleh guru Bahasa Indonesia di SMK di Pekanbaru tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan data pelaksanaan evaluasi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMK Pekanbaru. jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket. Data dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Pelaksanaan evaluasi pembelajaran oleh guru Bahasa Indonesia di SMK Pekanbaru tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 dikategorikan cukup yaitu memeroleh angka (72,56%). Kontribusi penelitian ini yaitu memberikan pengetahun kepada pembaca secara umum.Kata kunci: Pelaksanaan Prosedur evaluasi Pembelajaran, Guru Bahasa Indonesia, masa pandemiABSTRACTIn the learning process cannot be separated from the evaluation. Abstract

A This study aims to develop learning media based on the Padlet website to improve storytelling skills among elementary school students through the integration of East Javanese local wisdom. The developed media includes eight main menus, namely the main page, identity profile, learning outcomes, student attendance, material, student worksheet, evaluation, and bibliography, which provide an interactive and engaging learning experience. The research employed the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) and involved 80 third-grade students as participants. Data were obtained from media and material expert validation questionnaires, as well as student response questionnaires after the implementation stage. The validation results showed that the developed media achieved a validity score of 90% from material experts and 87% from media experts, indicating that the product met the feasibility standards. Moreover, the student response test revealed a very positive perception, particularly in terms of attractiveness, interactivity, and usefulness for learning storytelling skills. These findings demonstrate that the Padlet-based learning media incorporating East Javanese local wisdom is effective, practical, and of high quality in supporting the development of students’ storytelling skills. The significance of this study lies in offering a digital learning innovation that strengthens cultural values while enhancing literacy competence in elementary education.

Abstract

This community service program aims to 1) introduce madrasah students to the process of making bamboo fans, 2) introduce efforts that can be made to improve the aesthetic value of bamboo fans, and 3) facilitate children's creativity through bamboo fan coloring activities. This activity is motivated by the importance of developing creativity as an essential skill that aligns with the madrasah's efforts to adapt to the times. The method used is a participatory project approach involving preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages conducted through interviews. The results of the community service demonstrated high enthusiasm and engagement from the participants, as well as positive appreciation from the madrasah, which considered the sustainability of similar activities. The contribution of this community service to knowledge, particularly in the field of education, lies in demonstrating an innovative model of extracurricular activities utilizing local resources. Additionally, the activity provided practical knowledge regarding the implementation of project-based learning in the context of madrasah diniyah and its potential to enrich the repertoire of adaptive teaching methods tailored to students' needs and the environment.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: 1) to investigate the type of learning difficulties in initial reading and writing faced by second grade students, 2)the factors that caused them having learning difficulties in initial reading and writing. The approach is descriptive qualitative research in form of case study. The subjects of research are second grade students of elementary school 01 Sumoroto, Ponorogo. The data collection techniques are obtained using documentations and interviews. The data obtained are non-statistic data. The data are analysed using interactive models, namely data reduction, data presentation, data conclusion and verification. The results of the study are (1) the type of learning difficulties, in initial reading and writing faced by second grade students of elementary school 01 Sumoroto, namely students that are not fluent in spelling, less clear pronunciation, lack of letters memorization, difficult to distinguish letters, incomplete of words writing, difficulties in composing sentences; (2) the factors that caused learning difficulties in reading and writing are adolescence, love to play rather than learning,like to be a trouble maker in class, study at home when the teacher gives homework, lack of attention, less motivation, and the teacher is less assertive.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and explain the ability to write explanatory texts of vocational school students, the implementation of the project-based learning (PjBL) model in improving the ability to write explanatory texts, and the strengths and weaknesses faced by teachers and students in implementing the project-based learning model. This research is crucial for enhancing the quality of writing instruction in vocational high schools. The research approach uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects of this research were vocational high school students in Madiun. Data collection techniques were carried out through documentation, passive role observation, and) in-depth interviews. Data analysis was done using an interactive analysis model, carried out through 3 activity flows: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. This study revealed various problems in learning to write explanatory texts in vocational high schools. The results of the research show that: (1) students' ability to write explanatory texts is not by the structure of explanatory texts; (2) the direct impact of implementing the PjBL model is increasing students' ability to write explanatory texts; (3) the advantage of this model is that it provides experience for students that emphasizes practice in completing assignments and projects according to real-world conditions, while the disadvantages are that it requires the skills and activity of teachers and students, and quite time consuming especially in completing the project.

Abstract

Meaning relations are semantic connections or connections between words, phrases, or concepts that appear in a text. The aim of this research is to describe the types of meaning relaxation in the novel Harga a Confidence by Tere Liye and to integrate it into semantic learning in higher education. This research uses a descriptive method. The data for this research are quotations from sentences in the novel Harga a Confidence by Tere Liye which contain meaning relationships, documentation and interviews. The research procedure uses six steps. The data analysis technique uses six analysis steps. The conclusions of this research are 1) Tere Liye's novel Harga a Confidence found the types of meaning relations of epizeuksis repetition, synonyms, antonyms, equivalence (equivalence of words), and collocations (comparison of words), and 2) forms of integration in semantic learning in higher education can be carried out through 9 steps, namely (1) Identifying the Concept of Meaning Relations, (2) Preparing Learning Modules, (3) Linking it to Semantic Concepts in General, (4) Introduction to Case Studies, (5) Active Learning, (6) Text Analysis Tasks, (7) Reflective Discussion, (8) Presentation of Results, (9) Evaluation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai masalah sosial dalam novel Brutal karya Nabila Sharma. Pemilihan novel Brutal karya Nabila Sharma dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan sosial yang dialami oleh tokoh utama Nabila Sharma. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Menganalisis serta mendeskripsikan masalah sosial yang terdapat dalam novel Brutal karya Nabila Sharma diamati dari masalah sosial, (2) Mendeskripsikan unsur intrinsik yang membangun novel Brutal karya Nabila Sharma, dan (3) Mengaitkan antara masalah social dalam novel dengan pengaruhnya terhadap kehidupan masyarakat sosial. Subjek penelitian yaitu novel Brutal karya Nabila Sharma, sedangkan objek penelitian yaitu masalah sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data penelitian tersebut yaitu baca, tandai, dan catat. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitu sendiri (human instrument). Metode analisis data yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu dengan membaca keseluruhan novel, tandai setiap kutipan data, catat data yang telah didapat, dan dikumpulkan untuk dijadikan sebagai kartu data. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori sosiologi sastra Soerjono Soekanto serta bahan ajar sastra Rahmanto (1988). Terdapat tiga masalah social yaitu Pelanggaran terhadap norma-norma masyarakat, kejahatan & kriminalitas, dan Disorganisasi Keluarga
