Abstract

The problems addressed by this study were: (1) how are strategies implemented by Koperasi Kesejahteraan Bersama of FKIP UHO to improve the welfare of its members; (2) what are the hindrances encountered by Koperasi Kesejahteraan Bersama of FKIP UHO in its effort to improve the welfare of its members; (3) what strategies are employed by Koperasi Kesejahteraan Bersama of FKIP UHO to overcome the hindrances that it encounters in its effort of improving the welfare of its members. The purpose of this study was to reveal: (1) the strategies that were implemented by Koperasi Kesejahteraan Bersama of FKIP UHO to improve the welfare of its members; (2) the hindrances encountered by Koperasi Kesejahteraan Bersama of FKIP UHO in its effort of improving the welfare of its members; (3) the strategies are employed by Koperasi Kesejahteraan Bersama of FKIP UHO to overcome the hindrances that it encounters in its effort of improving the welfare of its members. Techniques of data collection were interview, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed qualitatively, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing of conclusions. Results of the study were: the strategies that were implemented by Koperasi Kesejahteraan Bersama of FKIP UHO to improve the welfare of its members were: (1) increasing member contributive participation by raising understanding about the importance of participating in the cooperation to the members themselves, transparency, honest, open, whereas incentive participation was increased by lowering interest rate and granting presents on lebaran day; (2) increasing service to its members by requiring nothing at all to those who wish to loan money, providing out-of-office services, and if a member wants to fully return his loan earlier than the contract, he does not need to pay the remaining interests. (3) increasing the cooperation capital by increasing members’ compulsory deposit and SHU to be received by members is not directly paid, but deposited in a special saved SHU. Some hindrances faced by Koperasi Kesejahteraan Bersama of FKIP UHO are related to limited capital and bad credit. Strategies employed by Koperasi Kesejahteraan Bersama are directly informing its members about bad credit, increasing compulsory deposit in order to increase the cooperation capital so that the problem of capital can be solved. Abstract

Koperasi merupakan suatu badan usaha yang beranggotakan orang atau badan hukum koperasi. Sebagai badan usaha yang anggotanya adalah orang sudah sebaiknya jika orang-orang tersebut memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup mengenai badan usaha yang hendak mereka masuki. Harapannya adalah ketika anggota koperasi memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang koperasi yang baik akan berdampak pada partisipasi anggota tersebut dalam organisasi koperasi baik itu partisipasi kontributif maupun partisipasi insentif (Dual Identity of Members). Untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan perkoperasian calon anggota koperasi mahasiswa dilakukan edukasi menggunakan metode ceramah dan diskusi serta dilakukan pre test dan post test untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan calon anggota sebelum dan setelah kegiatan pengabdian. Hasil dari pengabdian ini terlihat adanya peningkatan pengetahuan calon anggota terkait perkoperasian, sehingga itu akan menjadi bekal mereka untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam koperasi nantinya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan kajian dengan pendekatan explanatory research yang bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh faktor-faktor sosio demografi dan faktor-faktor ambisi kemandirian terhadap niat berwirausaha mahasiswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 1.254 orang yang merupakan mahasiswa FKIP Prodi Pendidikan Ekonomi di Universitas Halu Oleo. Metode Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran angket dengan total sampel sejumlah 62 orang. Analisis SEM yang berbabasis PLS (Partial Least Square) adalah teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam menjawab hipotesis penelitian. Hasil penelitian menginformasikan bahwa  niat berwirausaha mahasiswa di Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Halu Oleo secara spesifik dipengaruhi oleh Pekerjaan orang tua yang merupakan variabel dominan dalam faktor-faktor sosio demografi, dan Aktivitas lebih bebas yang merupakan variabel dominan dalam faktor-faktor ambisisi kemandirian. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor sosio demografi yang baik, mampu meningkatakan niat berwirausaha, dan faktor ambisi kemandirian yang baik mampu meningkatkan perilaku manajerial, kemudian perilaku manajerial yang baik mampu meningkatkan niat berwirausaha

Abstract

This study aimed to establish an allometric model for estimation of aboveground biomass, and carbon sequestration in A. lanata mangrove forest growing in Muna Regency, Southeast Sulawesi. Research methods were done by transect and 5 quadrats with size of 100 m2 each. A total of thirteen individual trees with different sizes were harvested. While DBH and D30 were measured. The samples were separated into stems, branches, and leaves and then weighted. The sample from each fresh organs were taken and brought to the Laboratory and then oven dried at 80°C for 7 days. The allometric equations were established by using independent variables (DBH and D30), and dependent variables (Ws, Wb, Wl). The partial and overall aboveground biomasses were calculated from allometric model, while carbon stock and CO2 sequestration were estimated. The results showed that the independent variable of DBH was more applicable for estimation of Ws, Wb, Wl, and total biomasses (Mg ha-1) of A. lanata forest, which were estimated as 28.28±3.48, 6.40±0.79, 5.00±0.66, and 40.08±4.97 respectively. The carbon stock in stems (13.24±1.63 Mg ha-1) was higher than in branches (3.01±0.37 Mg C ha-1) as well as in leaves (2.35±0.31 Mg C ha-1). The total of carbon stock were estimated at about 18.83±2.33 Mg C ha-1. Meanwhile, the total of CO2 absorption by A. lanata mangrove was 43.95±5.45 Mg CO2 ha-1. Therefore a regenerated A. lanata mangrove in this in-active pond area had potentiality on carbon stock and sequestrations, although these vegetation condition was still in the growth stage.

Abstract

One of the crossing routes that has helped build the regional economy in Southeast Sulawesi is the sea transportation route from Lasiwa Village, North Buton Regency to Amolengo Village to move goods and people between the regions. The development of this sea transportation business indirectly has a role in increasing income for the local community.This study was conducted with the aim of knowing and analyzing the income of the sea transportation business on the Lasiwa-Amolengo route before the operation of the ferry in North Buton district using primary data and secondary data. To find out and analyze the Sea Transportation Business on the Lasiwa-Amolengo route in North Buton Regency, a benefit cost analysis will be carried out from revenue and costs.. The results obtained that the sea transportation business carried out by 6 (six) entrepreneurs in Wakorumba District is one of the sea transportation service businesses that supports the mobilization of goods and people. The results of the analysis show that the average sea transportation service business income reaches Rp. 8,105,452.00 per month. The level of income earned by business actors is influenced by the price (fare), the number of passengers and the number of goods. Thus, the amount of income earned is the result of operations in the sea transportation sector which in turn will increase the family income of these business actors. In addition, it can provide benefits for people who cross the route. For the North Buton government, they need to think about the fate of business actors who use small boats because with the ferry, their business will be threatened to stop because passengers are more dominant will prefer to use ferry services.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTingginya pendapatan per kapita dan angka harapan hidup penduduk di beberapanegara ASEAN tidak selalu diikuti oleh tingginya tingkat kebahagiaan penduduknya, Filipina, Vietnam, dan Kamboja merupakan negara dengan pendapatan per kapita dan angka harapan hidup relatif rendah tetapi justru memiliki indeks kebahagiaan relatif tinggi dibandingkan negara ASEAN lainnya. Begitupun dengan tingginya emisi karbon dioksida tidak selalu diikuti rendahnya tingkat kebahagiaan penduduk, Malaysia dan Thailand memiliki emisi karbon dioksida relatif tinggi tetapi juga memiliki indeks kebahagiaan tertinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar dampak pendapatan per kapita, angka harapan hidup, dan emisi karbon dioksida terhadap indeks kebahagiaan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder berupa data panel 8 Negara ASEAN selama tahun 2015-2019. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa GDPper kapita dan angka harapan hidup berdampak positif signifikan terhadap indeks kebahagiaan. Sedangkan emisi karbon dioksida berdampak negatif signifikan terhadap indeks kebahagiaan di 8 Negara ASEAN.

Abstract

Koperasi pada umumnya memiliki masalah pada manajerial dan partisipasi anggota yang kurang aktif. Sementara hidup matinya koperasi tergantung partisipasi keseluruhan anggotanya. Koperasi mahasiswa merupakan sebuah koperasi yang berisikan para mahasiswa milenial yang tentunya memiliki kemampuan yang baik dalam mempelajari sesuatu dan mengaplikasikannya. Tujuan kegiatan ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan perkoperasian para anggota koperasi mahasiswa sehingga partisipasi mereka semakin baik lagi dalam berkoperasi. Untuk itu Pendidikan dasar koperasi dirasa sangat perlu diberikan kepada anggota koperasi mahasiswa agar dapat memahami lebih jauh lagi terkait dengan perkoperasian sehingga dengan begitu partisipasinya dalam koperasi dapat meningkat. Kegiatan Pendidikan dasar koperasi ini dilaksanakan selama satu hari dengan menggunakan metode ceramah serta tanya jawab. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini terlihat adanya peningkatan pengetahuan perkoperasian para anggota yang dilihat dari hasil evaluasi yang dikemas dalam bentuk games kelompok

Abstract

Entrepreneurship courses are offered in almost all university majors and study programs. This is a pledge to assist the government in its efforts to minimize the number of unemployed. However, the factual conditions discovered a number of issues, including students' lack of entrepreneurial interest, the lack of a product marketing forum, and inadequate facilities and infrastructure. The aim of this program is to create an entrepreneurial studio that will serve as a venue for students to learn more about entrepreneurship. Preparation for the establishment of a studio and soft launching, as well as an entrepreneurial inspiring speaking (BISA) webinar, are the methods employed in this service. According to participant testimonies, this activity resulted in the creation of an entrepreneurial studio as a forum for students entrepreneurship, as well as an increase in students' interest in entrepreneurship after participating in the Entrepreneurship Inspirational Talk (BISA).

Abstract

In this era that is very close to technology, cooperatives are faced with 3 major challenges that need to be answered, namely bad perceptions of cooperatives, innovation of cooperative business systems, and technological developments. The demand to change the conventional system into an all-digital system is unavoidable so that digital transformation is very necessary, especially in the service sector to consumers in order to make it easier for consumers to transact. The economic education student cooperative in the city of Kendari has been operating for 10 years but still seems to have not maximized technology in the development of the cooperative. In this student cooperative, there are still many things that become obstacles in its implementation, such as member participation that has not been maximized, both contributory participation and incentive participation. The specific purpose of this research is to find out how the cooperative transformation efforts are carried out by the economic education student cooperative in an effort to increase member participation and also to determine the role of the government in efforts to modernize cooperatives. Data collection methods in this study were obtained in 3 ways, namely observation of the research location, interviews with informants, and literature study. The conclusion of this research reveals that several efforts have been made by student cooperatives for economic education to become modern cooperatives, namely using the Zoom application for the Annual Members Meeting (RAT) and developing their own applications to make it easier for members to buy goods and services and facilitate deposit payments.. Meanwhile, the government's efforts are to provide socialization, training, and create a digital platform that can be used by cooperatives.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the village economy and the community's efforts to meet their needs at the time of market closing in Wulandoni District, Lembata Regency, NTT. This type of research is in the form of qualitative research using data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and conducting data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions in the data analysis techniques used. The result of this study is that the Covid-19 pandemic that occurred required the government to take a policy to temporarily close the barter market in the Wulandoni sub-district. In addition, the pandemic also has an impact on the decline in the income of market traders in the Wulandoni sub-district. The government certainly tries to give its best so that economic activities can resume running. One of the efforts made is to innovate in the form of special seats that are given a distance of 1 meter so that social distancing in the barter market continues. To be able to survive in the midst of a pandemic, the strategy used by the community when the barter market closed at that time was door-to-door bartering to its customers.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana dampak pandemi Covid-19 terhadap perekonomian desa dan upaya masyarakat dalam memenuhi kebutuhannya pada saat penutupan pasar di Kecamatan Wulandoni Kabupaten Lembata, NTT. Jenis penelitian ini berupa penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan melakukan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dalam teknik analisis data yang digunakan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pandemi Covid-19 yang terjadi mengharuskan pemerintah mengambil kebijakan untuk menutup sementara pasar barter di kecamatan Wulandoni. Selain itu, pandemi juga berdampak pada penurunan pendapatan pedagang pasar di kecamatan Wulandoni. Pemerintah tentu berupaya memberikan yang terbaik agar kegiatan ekonomi bisa kembali berjalan. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan adalah melakukan inovasi berupa tempat duduk khusus yang diberi jarak 1 meter agar social distancing di pasar barter tetap berjalan. Untuk dapat bertahan di tengah pandemi, strategi yang digunakan masyarakat saat pasar barter tutup saat itu adalah barter door to door kepada pelanggannya.
