Abstract

Powerpoint interaktif adalah slide interaktif yang berisi materi pembelajaran sehingga dapat dimanfaatakan penggunanya untuk mendapatkan informasi dan pengetahuan dari media tersebut. Guru dalam proses pembelajaran biologi di sekolah menengah atas dituntut dapat memanfaatakan media. Saat ini, pemanfaatan powerpoint interaktif untuk pembelajaran juga banyak ditemukan. Maka dari itu peneliti akan mengulas powerpoint interaktif yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran biologi khususnya pada tingkat sekolah menengah atas serta kelebihan dan kekurangan terhadap pembelajaran. Adapun metode studi literature ini yaitu tinjauan sistematis (systematic literature review). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian studi literatur, bahwasanya pemanfaatan powerpoint interaktif sebagai media pembelajaran biologi di SMA memudahkan peserta didik dalam memahami materi pelajaran, penggunaannya praktis, menyampaikan informasi dengan jelas karena penyajian yang lebih menarik sehingga menumbuhkan motivasi dan meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve students’ learning outcomes through video-assisted STAD of cooperative learning types. The topic of study was the interaction between living things and their environment, which taught in the class of VII A SMP Islam Bawari, Pontianak. This research adopted a classroom action research (CAR) with two cycles which executed in two meetings. Each cycle consisted of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The instrument for data collection included learning observation sheets and learning achievement test. In the implementation of the video-assisted STAD model, all stages in cycle I and II were entirely (100%) implemented following the planned learning design. The average student learning outcomes increased from 77.00 (cycle I) to 86.60 (cycle II) with the percentage of completeness (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal, KKM) of 76% and 92% for the cycle I and II, respectively. Overall, the implementation of STAD, which was assisted by the video, succesfully improved students’ learning outcomes on the topic of interaction between living things and their environment of class class VII A SMP Islam Bawari.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the feasibility of the biology magazine as the teaching media in sub material interaction in ecosystem for sophomore in high school. This study used research and development (R&D) with the Plomp model. Feasibility test on the biology magazine which display the result of phase one validated by five validator consist of three lecturer and two sophomore teachers in class X from SMA Negeri 1 Sambas and SMA Negeri 1 Subah were selected by purposive. Validation assessment uses a Likert scale and data analysis uses the formula Lawshe (1975). The aspects assessed from the Biology magazine are aspects of language, content, and construction with 22 assessment criteria. The result of the biology magazine as teaching media acquire score 0,99 in CVI (Content Validity Index) which declared as a valid teaching material in sub material interaction in ecosystem for sophomore in highchool.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dalam dua siklus, tiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitain adalah kelas VII A MTs Mathla’ul Anwar berjumlah 36 peserta didik. Hasil belajar peserta didik Siklus I nilai 81,11 ketuntasan sebesar 75% dan hasil belajar peserta didik Siklus II nilai 88,70 ketuntasan sebesar 91,67%. Secara keseluruhan, penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup kelas VII A MTs Mathla’ul Anwar. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran inkuiri pada materi klasifikasi hidup dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar

Abstract

Powtoon is an software  animation video that can be accessed online, contains simple and interesting animations, and provides music facilities and can record narration. This study aims to determine the feasibility of an animated video powtoon based on the results of an inventory of macroscopic fungi found in the Sekadau Mount Protection Forest, Sambas Regency. The research instrument used is a validation sheet, which includes aspects of format, content, language, simplicity, illustrations, media quality, and attractiveness. This type of research is research and development with the Plomp model. The results showed that the validation of the animated video powtoon was carried out by five validators with a CVI (Content Validity Index) value of 0.99 which was declared feasible. Based on the validation results, it can be concluded that the animated powtoon video in the class X high school mushroom classification submaterial is declared suitable for use as a learning medium.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) kelayakan media pembelajaran dengan video animasi powtoon; (2) respons terhadap media pembelajaran dengan video animasi powtoon; (3) hasil belajar setelah menerapkan media pembelajaran dengan video animasi powtoon. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara mengumpulkan beberapa penelitian terdahulu untuk menjawab kelayakan media, respons, dan hasil belajar setelah menerapkan media pembelajaran dengan video animasi powtoon. Penelitian terdahulu yang sudah terkumpul selanjutnya dikompilasi, dianalisis, dan disimpulkan sehingga mendapatkan kesimpulan mengenai pengembangan media pembelajaran dengan video animasi powtoon. Hasil penelitian (1) media pembelajaran dengan video animasi powtoon dikatakan layak karena memenuhi aspek-aspek kevalidan media terhadap video animasi powtoon dengan persentase rata-rata penialain validasi ≥ 61% - 100% dengan kualitatif baik hingga sangat baik, (2) respons terhadap media pembelajaran dengan video animasi powtoon dikatakan baik karena responden menunjukkan ketertarikan terhadap media dengan persentase rata-rata peniaian hasil respons ≥ 61% - 100% dengan baik hingga sangat baik, (3) media pembelajaran dengan video animasi powtoon yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar adalah media pembelajaran dengan video animasi powtoon yang telah memenuhi aspek kelayakan media serta hasil uji penerapan media menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar setelah menerapkan video animasi powtoon.

Abstract

A well-conducted learning activity is supported by the availability of teaching materials, among many other supportive aspects. One of the most common teaching materials is textbook. This study aims to find out the effectiveness of the textbook on the structure and function of cells in reproductive system material for eleventh-grade students in high school. This study applied a descriptive method, and the data analysis used the Gregory test involving two validators. Three aspects that had been validated are presentation, content, and language consisting of fifteen criteria. The result of validation showed the validity construct for the aspect of the presentation is 1, the aspect of content is 1, and the aspect of language is 1, so the criteria for each aspect are very high. It concluded that the textbook can be used as a teaching material for the structure and function of cells in reproductive system material.

Abstract

Environmental problems need to be solved by students' HOTS abilities. This research aimed to develop environmental learning student's worksheet of air pollution (eswopol) based on Higher Order Thinking Skills Assessment based on Environmental Problems (HOTS-AEP). The research method used research and development that modified from Borg and Gall model. The study was conducted in December 2019 until January 2020. The research instrument used the interview transcript and validation questionnaire. The research data obtained in the form of an average score of validation results. The data analysis technique used is descriptive. The results showed that the environmental learning student's worksheet of air pollution (eswopol) based on HOTS-AEP was declared valid with an average validation score of 3.55 (very valid category). The conclusion of this research is eswopol based on HOTS-AEP is appropriate for use in a learning environment.

Abstract

Pembelajaran abad 21 menuntut keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi meliputi 4Cs (critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity) sehingga dibutuhkan inovasi pembelajaran salah satunya dengan inovasi LKPD. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan LKPD berbasis Vee Mapping pada materi sistem pernapasan yang valid dan praktis sebagai bentuk inovasi Pendidikan biologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian research and development dengan model pengembangan 4D. Produk yang dikembangkan pada penelitian ini berupa LKPD berbasis Vee Mapping pada materi sistem pernapasan dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa kajian literatur, uji kevalidan dan uji kepraktisan. Instrumen pada penelitian ini berupa lembar validasi untuk mengukur tingkat kevalidan dan angket untuk melihat tingkat kepraktisan produk. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik sebanyak 12 orang. Hasil  pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa LKPD berbasis Vee Mapping pada materi sistem pernapasan yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat validitas dengan skor 3,86 dan tingkat kepraktisan yaitu 3,51 dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid dan praktis sehingga layak untuk digunakan. Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu, LKPD berbasis Vee Mapping layak digunakan sebagai salah satu media yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran biologi khususnya pada materi sistem pernapasan.

Abstract

This research presents the creativity of the college students of Biology Education Study Program of Universitas Tanjungpura in processing and utilizing both the organic and inorganic waste into several functional products. The type of this research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach to describe the types of useful products from waste made by the college students of Biology Education Study Program. The product assessment is carried out by 3 validators, who are 2 lecturers at IKIP PGRI Pontianak and 1 lecturer at the Faculty of Education and teachers training (FKIP) of Universitas Tanjungpura. The creativity of the college students in utilizing waste into functional products produces several products in the form of foods and crafts. Moreover, the food products include Empek-empek mackerel fish bones, chicken intestine nuggets, avocado seed cookies, watermelon skin sweetmeat, jackfruit seed chips, and fluffy mini pancake banana peel. Then, the handicraft products include piggy banks made from used bottles, bags made of jerry cans and patchwork, miniature of trees with lights and electrical terminals made from old newspapers and old tires, and the bracelet friendship summer. Finally, the validator's assessment of the food products is in the range of 2 - 5, while for the handicraft products is in the range of 2 - 4.5.
