Abstract

Agro-industry is growing rapidly along with changes in healthy lifestyles and environmental awareness in society. An example of an agro-industrial product is milk. However, cow's milk is lactose intolerant and has a negative environmental impact. From this problem, plant-based milk comes as a solution. Plant-based milk comes from plants, one of which is oat. The first oat milk to come to Asia is Oatside. Previous research says that when consumers are fully aware of the benefits of consuming Oatside, that is when they are interested and intend to buy the product. However, in fact, the benefits of Oatside are still not widely known by consumers. Thus, this study aims to determine how consumer characteristics, quality performance and brand image of Oatside brand oat milk in Bandung City so that producers can determine the next marketing strategy to increase product knowledge as well as Oatside consumption. The research method used is quantitative method. The technique used is purposive sampling with a size of 100 respondents. Variables were measured with a Likert Scale and processed with descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that Oatside consumers in Bandung City are women, aged 17-25 years, have a bachelor's degree, students, have an income of < Rp1,500,000 and are not married. Consumers also rated the durability of Oatside products and brands as better than other indicators.

Abstract

The world is currently experiencing environmental damage, it’s caused by the problem of waste that dominated by plastic. However, Generation Z as the nation's successor and information generation is expected to reduce the use of plastic to reduce environmental damage. This research focuses on Generation Z: student of Faculty of Agriculture, Padjadjaran University with the aim of 1) knowing the level of environmental awareness, attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, and purchase intention, 2) knowing the factors that influence purchase intention for tumbler and eco-friendly straw products, and 3) the value of willingness to pay and the factors that influence it. This research was conducted using descriptive tests, multiple linear regression tests, CVM tests, and logistic regression tests. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the level of environmental awareness, attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, and purchase intention are at a good level. Factors that have a significant effect are environmental awareness, attitudes, and perceived behavioral control, while subjective norms do not have a significant effect. Willingness to Pay value on tumbler is Rp.44.645 and eco-friendly straws is Rp.13.685. Willingness to Pay is influenced by gender and income.

Abstract

Instagram is now used as a marketing communications medium by MSMEs, including Al-Waliy Honey Gummy, which previously only went by word of mouth marketing and was still not widely known to the public. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of Instagram advertisement video created by Al-Waliy Honey Gummy MSME using the AIDA Model approach. The research design uses descriptive quantitative design with survey and interview techniques. A sample size of 103 was drawn through purposive sampling with the criteria being active users of Instagram and have watched Al-Waliy Honey Gummy advertising video on Instagram. The findings indicate that the Al-Waliy Honey Gummy advertisment is considered effective, with scores of 3,99 for attention, 4,30 for interest, 4,06 for desire, and 4,12 for action (out of 5). The study suggests a need to enhance the quality of advertisement content to elevate effectiveness from effective to very effective and become more active in promoting the products by optimizing Instagram’s features.Keywords: advertisement effectiveness, AIDA Model, Al-Waliy Honey Gummy, Instagram

Abstract

Permasalahan yang mendorong penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran dan kemampuan siswa dalam belajar bahasa Inggris masih rendah. Penguasaan kosakata siswa masih kurang sehingga siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Kesulitan belajar siswa disebabkan oleh rendahnya kemauan siswa dalam belajar bahasa Inggris, disisi lain siswa kesulitan mengingat arti dari kata bahasa Inggris. Media pembelajaran hal yang paling penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Pembelajaran bahasa Inggris ini peneliti menggunakan media teka-teki silang untuk belajar kosakata bahasa Inggris. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pembelajaran kosakata menggunakan media tek-teki silang pada mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris kelas IV SD Negeri Wuwur 01. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara, angket, dokumentasi dan hasil pekerjaan siswa. Metode analisis data menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan triangulasi. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas IV dengan jumlah 20 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui media teka-teki silang berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan kosakata bahasa Inggris siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Wuwur 01 Pati.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran,Kosakata, Teka-Teki Silang

Abstract

Traditional learning media such as textbooks and flashcards are still widely used in EFL classrooms in Taiwanese elementary schools, but they often fail to engage digital-native students. This research aims to describe the use and challenges of digital-based learning media, including games, songs, and videos, in enhancing student engagement in EFL learning. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to explore the effectiveness of these media. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to elementary school teachers in Taiwan. The results show that while digital-based media offer more interactive and engaging learning experiences, issues such as accessibility, technical difficulties, and student boredom still persist. The study concludes that integrating game-based, song-based, and video-based media can address these challenges and significantly improve student participation and learning outcomes in EFL classrooms.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of interviews with grade VI teachers of SDN Manyaran 01 who stated that SDN Manyaran 01 experienced limited learning media. The purpose of this study was to develop Planetarium Toys media to improve student understanding of solar system material in grade VI SDN Manyaran 01. This type of research uses Research and Development (R&D). Development with 5 stages,namely (1) Analysis, namely identifying existing problems at SDN Manyaran 01, (2) Design, designing learning media according to the needs of students and educators, (3) Development, developing learning media Planetarium Toys designed as needed, (4) Implementation, conducting field trials with the object of grade VIstudents using Planetarium Toys media in the learning process, (5) Evaluation, perfecting the product after conducting trials. The results showed that Planetarium Toys had an average percentage of the results of one media expert validation of 100% with the predicate (very feasible). While the validation of the second mediaexpert with a percentage of 94% can be said (very feasible) and the material expert validation has apercentage result of 86% so the media is declared (very feasible). Meanwhile, the results of the practicality test were obtained from the results of the class teacher's response of 81% (very feasible) and the overall student response had a result of 86% (very feasible). These results show that Planetarium Toys media can be a tool to increase the understanding of grade VI students in solar system material. Based on the results of the study, the researcher concluded that Planetarium Toys media provides a solution to the problem of limited learning media at SDN Manyaran 01. Planetarium Toys media is feasible to use based on the results of the media expert questionnaire, material experts, educators, and student questionnaires.

Abstract

Fungi endofit laut merupakan fungi yang berasosiasi dengan jaringan organisme laut, yaitu rumput laut, koral, lamun, bunga karang maupun sedimen di lingkungan laut. Fungi dapat memproduksi metabolit sekunder berupa senyawa enzim ekstraseluler, di antaranya selulase, amilase, pektinase, kitosanase, lipase, maupun protease. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan potensi isolat fungi endofit berdasarkan aktivitas kitosanolitik, selulolitik, dan proteolitik untuk mendegradasi kitosan. Isolat fungi endofit laut diisolasi dari jaringan rumput laut, lamun, dan mangrove dari perairan Sukabumi dan Kepulauan Buton, Indonesia. Fungi sebanyak 20 isolat dilakukan penapisan aktivitas enzimatik (kitosanolitik, selulolitik, dan proteolitik) dengan metode difusi agar untuk mengetahui diameter zona bening yang dihasilkan. Proses hidrolisis dilakukan dengan menginokulasi isolat ke media hidrolisis yang berisi koloidal kitosan selama 7 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 12 isolat memiliki aktivitas kitosanolitik, 8 isolat selulolitik, dan 10 isolat proteolitik. Lima isolat memiliki aktivitas terhadap semua aktivitas enzimatik yang diuji. Dua isolat dengan kode KVA dan BM48A memiliki diamater zona bening kitosanolitik tertinggi. Kedua isolat tersebut diidentifikasi melalui DNA Barcoding sebagai spesies dengan galur Trichoderma harzianum KTR3 dan Aspergillus sydowii KTR50. Rendemen hidrolisat kitosan yang dihidrolisis menggunakan isolat T. harzianum KTR3 dan A. sydowii KTR50 7,44% dan 6,74%. Nilai viskositas yang dihidrolisis menggunakan isolat T. harzianum KTR3 dan A. sydowii KTR50 berturut-turut 21,10 cP dan 9,26 cP serta nilai bobot molekul 9,06 kDa dan 4,47 kDa. Aktivitas enzimatik yang dihasilkan oleh isolat fungi endofit laut memiliki kemampuan dalam mendegradasi kitosan, hal ini dibuktikan dengan terjadinya penurunan nilai viskositas dan bobot molekul kitosan.

Abstract

Children’s literature plays a crucial role in shaping moral values and reflecting cultural norms. Although many studies have examined individual folktales, limited research directly compares Western and Eastern narratives to understand how cultural contexts shape moral instruction. This study compares the Western folktale Cinderella and the Eastern folktale Bawang Merah Bawang Putih to examine how each story teaches ethics and virtues to children. Using a qualitative comparative analysis, data were collected through textual analysis and a review of relevant literature. Results show that Cinderella emphasizes individual virtue rewarded through external assistance, reflecting Western ideals of personal achievement, while Bawang Merah Bawang Putih highlights moral integrity and the consequences of actions, reflecting Eastern values of communal harmony. By offering a cross-cultural comparison, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of how folktales function as culturally embedded tools for moral education and provides insights for educators and researchers on integrating cultural narratives into ethical instruction.

Abstract

Talking about speaking, when people need to good in speaking, they have to involve the five components such as good pronouncation, correct grammar, right vocabulaty, able in fluency and comprehension. But many students in learning English especially in speaking, they got some difficulties. In this study, to overcome the problems of speaking such as, fluency, pronouncation and vocabulary. Using Buzz Group, the writer can solved their problems. Because, Buzz Group is a small group assembled to work on a problem and report solutions. By gathering, the students can share their ideas with others in a group. So, the students can improve their ideas. Therefore, the aim of this research is to find out any effect to the second grade students’ speaking at MA Sejahtera Pare in academic years 2017/2018. This research uses experimetal quatitative with onegroup pre-test and post test as research design. The subject of this research is 20 students that consist of 11 males and 9 females of second grade students’ speaking at MA Sejatera Pare. The data was analyzed by using t-test. The result of data analyzed shows that the mean score of post test ( 84.4 ) is higher that pre-test ( 68.2 ) and t-test ( 26.23 ). Thus, the Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Moreover, it shows that the t-score ( 26.23 ) is higher than t-table ( 2.093 ) at the degree of significance 5%. In the effect of very significant. It can be concluded that using Buzz Group Technique gives significant influence towards the students’ speaking especially in fluency, vocabulary and pronouncation. But, there was one component that proven higher than the others. It was fluency.

Abstract

This study analyzes religious values and aesthetics in five contemporary Islamic poems: Perjuangan Dakwah, He Backs Out Strong, Sightless, Mindful, The Mystery of Being Humans, and Give Me a Pen and Paper. The study aims to describe religious themes, language style, and Islamic values in these poems. A qualitative descriptive method was employed using content analysis and stylistic analysis. The results show that each poem emphasizes different aspects of religious values, including the struggle of da’wah, prayer and brotherhood, sincere love, spiritual awareness, and the power of knowledge and intellectual da’wah. Language aesthetics include metaphors, symbols, repetition, paradoxes, and acronyms that reinforce the religious messages. These findings support the view that contemporary Islamic poetry serves as a medium for da’wah, spiritual reflection, and internalization of moral values relevant to modern life.
