Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada materi listrik statis di SMP Negeri 2 Tayan Hulu melalui implementasi model Guided Discovery berbantuan website MindMeister. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Bentuk penelitian ini yaitu pre-experimental design dengan jenis one group pretest-posttest design, yang melibatkan 25 orang peserta didik kelas IX di SMP Negeri 2 Tayan Hulu. Soal essai sebanyak 6 butir soal yang mewakili ketiga indikator pemahaman konsep (translasi, interpretasi dan ekstrapolasi) merupakan instrumen dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada materi listrik statis meningkat. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t sampel pairing dengan nilai Sig. 2-tailed sebesar 0,00 (<0,05) yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman konsep peserta didik sesudah penerapan model Guided Discovery berbantuan website MindMeister.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah melakukan pendampingan penyusunan pedoman rencana pembelajaran semester (RPS) dalam menyikapi kebijakan kementerian pendidikan kebudayaan, riset, dan teknologi tentang Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) berupa pengembangan kurikulum baru terkhusus pada semester Ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023 tentang perihal RPS tersebut yang sangat penting dengan perkembangan kurikulum merdeka. Pengabdian ini berbentuk workshop atau pelatihan yang dilaksanakan di Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama (UNU) Kalbar. Teknik dan instrumen pengumpul datanya berupa teknik interview, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan alatnya berupa wawancara langsung, lembar pengamatan, dan dokumen-dokumen. Workshop ini diikuti oleh dosen dan tenaga kependidikan di kampus tersebut dengan model pelaksanaannya sebagai berikut: (1) hasil kegiatan pengabdian untuk dosen-dosen di UNU Kalbar yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pedoman RPS berbasis kurikulum MBKM telah berjalan dengan baik dan lancar; (2) terdapat produk yang sangat penting dan menjadi pedoman atau acuan yaitu draft panduan penyusunan RPS yang akan sudah disahkan. Kata kunci: kurikulum MBKM; RPS; workshop. ABSTRACTThe purpose of this service activity is to provide assistance in preparing semester learning plan (RPS) guidelines in responding to the policies of the ministry of education, culture, research, and technology regarding Merdeka Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) in the form of developing a new curriculum specifically in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year regarding the RPS which is very important with the development of an independent curriculum. This service is in the form of a workshop or training held at the University of Nahdlatul Ulama (UNU) West Kalimantan. The techniques and instruments for collecting data are interview techniques, observation, and documentation with tools in the form of direct interviews, observation sheets, and documents. This workshop was attended by lecturers and education staff at the campus with the following implementation model: (1) the results of service activities for lecturers at UNU West Kalimantan which aim to develop RPS guidelines based on the MBKM curriculum have run well and smoothly; (2) there are products that are very important and become guidelines or references, namely the draft guidelines for preparing RPS which will be ratified. Keywords: MBKM curriculum; RPS; workshop.

Abstract

Mengungkap miskonsepsi siswa tentang getaran merupakan tujuan dalam penelitian ini. Wawancara klinis dan individual demonstration interview dilakukan pada 18 orang siswa SMP di Pontianak yang dipilih dan dikelompokan dalam kolompok tinggi, kelompok sedang dan kelompok rendah (masing-masing kelompok 6 orang). Siswa menganggap frekuensi pada pegas dipengaruhi ampliutudo dan massa beban yang digantungkan merupakan bentuk miskonsepsi yang paling banyak dialami siswa. Siswa yang pintar dan kurang pintar memiliki peluang yang sama mengalami miskonsepsi tentang getaran.Kata Kunci: Miskonsepsi; Wawancara; Getaran Diagnosis of Students’ Misconceptions about VibrationABSTRACTRevealing student’s misconceptions about vibration was the purpose of this research. Clinical interviews and individual demonstration interviews were conducted with 18 selected junior high school students in Pontianak and grouped into high, medium and low groups (6 people in each group). Students think that the frequency of the spring is influenced by the amplitude and the mass is the most common form of misconception experienced by students. Smart and less intelligent students had the same opportunity to experience misconceptions about vibration.

Abstract

: In today's digital era, influencers play an important role in shaping public opinion and public behavior through social media. As micro-celebrities, influencers have a strong emotional connection with their followers, which makes them a more trusted source of information than official institutions. However, this large influence poses the risk of disseminating inaccurate information, and even potentially harming the public. This phenomenon is even more complex when influencers spread misinformation or disinformation that has physical, psychological, or social impacts. Although the ITE Act has regulated the dissemination of digital content, it has not explicitly addressed the legal liability of influencers who disseminate harmful content. This creates a legal loophole that influencers can exploit to spread sensational content without considering the negative impacts. This study uses a normative juridical approach to examine the extent to which the ITE Law can accommodate criminal liability for influencers, as well as recommend legal reforms that are more responsive to digital dynamics. This research aims to provide a fairer and more contextual legal construction to overcome challenges in law enforcement in the digital world, while maintaining a balance between freedom of expression and public protection.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mereduksi jumlah mahasiswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi tentang usaha dan energi. Ada 31 mahasiswa yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Sebanyak 15 soal pilihan ganda dengan alasan terbuka digunakan pada saat pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata persentase jumlah mahasiswa yang miskonsepsi turun sebesar 22,53%. Berdasarkan hasil uji McNemar terjadi penurunan miskonsepsi pada tujuh indicator dari sebelas indikator.

Abstract

Collaboration and reflection on learning implementation should be clear and sustainable. This study aims to introduce a model that integrates the principles of collaboration and reflection. The research method is quantitative descriptive. The participants involved were preservice science teachers who were taking micro-teaching courses. The research implementation lasted for 4 months. The first month, a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) was conducted with school partners. The next month was to design a learning model by integrating collaborative and reflective principles. The third month is to measure the validity of the stages of the model. The last month was the implementation of the learning model in micro-teaching courses. Each learning implementation was recorded and uploaded on the web. The learning model with collaborative and reflective principles consists of 4 stages: plan, simulation, implementation, and reflection. The result states that the learning model is valid and reliable. This model is valid in content and constructs, fulfilling development needs and model novelty. This study implies an enhancement of science education through micro-teaching, offering strategic directions for the pedagogy development of the preservice teachers.

Abstract

Telah dilaksanakan program penerapan ipteks pelatihan reperasi printer untuk pemuda Gampong Kuala Kecamatan Blang Mangat Kota Lhokseumawe. Reperasi printer merupakan salah satu ketrampilan yang sangat menjanjikan, mengingat jumlah pengguna printer yang terus meningkat dan jumlah tempat reperasi yang terbatas. 11 (sebelas) orang pemuda dan pemudi Gampong Kuala dilatih selama 5 (lima) hari meliputi; cara memasang dan mengintall program printer, cara merawat printer, pengenalan komponen, jenis-jenis kerusakan dan cara reperasinya serta cara pemasangan infus atau Continous Ink Supply System (CISS). Pelatihan diikuti oleh 11 (sebelas) orang peserta. Hasil evaluasi penerapan ipteks menunjukkan bahwa peserta dapat menyerap materi dengan baik, tingkat keberhasilan program mencapai 100% untuk materi pemasangan printer dan menginstal program printer, sementara pengenalan komponen mencapai 53,3%, jenis kerusakan dan cara reperasinya mencapai 50% dan pemasangan infus mencapai 63,6%. Masyarakat yang tinggal di desa memiliki intelektualitas yang dapat diandalkan dan memiliki displin yang baik, hanya saja mereka kurang dalam hal mendapatkan kesempatan. Oleh karena itu dengan dilaksanakannya program penerapan ipteks ini masyarakat memiliki ketrampilan mereperasi printer, sehingga menjadi salah satu alternatif ketrampilan yang dapat membantu meningkatkan taraf hidup mereka.Kata kunci : Printer, reperasi, komponen, ketrampilan.

Abstract

AbstrakKegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di wilayah perbatasan Entikong, yang menghadapi tantangan dalam layanan pembelajaran, beban mengajar, dan kepemimpinan akademik. Masalah utama yang diidentifikasi adalah rendahnya kualitas proses pembelajaran akibat keterbatasan sumber daya dan dukungan akademik. PKM ini dilakukan melalui kerja sama antara perguruan tinggi dan sekolah di Entikong, melibatkan 55 peserta, terdiri dari guru, dosen, dan mahasiswa di lingkup STKIP wilayah Entikong. Kegiatan berfokus pada tiga aspek utama: layanan pembelajaran, beban mengajar, dan kepemimpinan akademik. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pendampingan intensif, pelatihan guru, pengembangan materi ajar berbasis konteks lokal, dan pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran. Selain itu, dilakukan penguatan kapasitas kepala sekolah dalam kepemimpinan dan manajemen pendidikan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dengan meningkatnya kompetensi guru dalam menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Beban kerja guru juga lebih terkelola, sehingga perhatian kepada siswa meningkat. Dari sisi kepemimpinan akademik, terdapat peningkatan partisipasi kepala sekolah dalam pengelolaan kegiatan pendidikan. Secara deskriptif kualitatif, para peserta menyatakan model pendampingan membantu memahami strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif. Secara kuantitatif, terdapat peningkatan partisipasi aktif guru selama proses pendampingan. Model pendampingan ini terbukti fleksibel dan dapat diterapkan dalam konteks pendidikan lainnya, sehingga dapat menjadi model alternatif dalam pengembangan pendidikan di wilayah perbatasan. Kata kunci: iklim akademik; pengabdian Masyarakat; model pendampingan AbstractThis Community Service Program (PKM) aims to improve the quality of education in the border area of Entikong, which faces challenges related to teaching services, teachers' workload, and academic leadership. The main problem identified is the suboptimal learning process caused by limited resources and academic support. The PKM is conducted through collaboration between higher education institutions and schools in Entikong, involving 55 respondents, including teachers, lecturers, and students from STKIP Entikong. The program focuses on three main aspects: teaching services, teachers' workload, and academic leadership. The methods employed include intensive mentoring, teacher training, the development of contextually relevant teaching materials, and the integration of technology into the learning process. Additionally, the program enhances the capacity of school principals in leadership and educational management. The results indicate an improvement in teaching quality, as evidenced by increased teacher competence in implementing technology-based learning. The teachers' workload has become more manageable, allowing them to give better attention to students. Regarding academic leadership, there is an increase in school principals' participation in managing educational activities. Qualitatively, participants reported that the adapted mentoring model has assisted them in understanding and applying more effective teaching strategies. Quantitatively, there was a 30% increase in active teacher participation during the mentoring process. This mentoring model has proven to be flexible and adaptable to various educational contexts, making it a promising alternative for educational development in border areas. Keywords: academic climate; community service; mentoring model

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal berstandar PISA pada konten uncertainty and data. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 29 siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak, dan data berasal dari tes kemampuan representasi matematis serta wawancara dengan siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak. Secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal berstandar PISA pada konten uncertainty and data masih rendah, dengan persentase pencapaian sebesar 35,06%. Berdasarkan indikator representasi matematis, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kemampuan representasi visual siswa dikategorikan rendah dengan persentase pencapaian sebesar 16,75%, (2) kemampuan representasi verbal siswa dikategorikan sedang dengan persentase pencapaian sebesar 64,62%, dan (3) kemampuan representasi simbolik siswa dikategorikan rendah dengan persentase pencapaian sebesar 23,75%. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konteks soal, membaca data secara visual, dan memahami simbol-simbol matematis yang digunakan dalam soal tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah standar PISA pada konten uncertainty and data, serta dapat menjadi dasar untuk pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan tersebut. Kata kunci: Kemampuan Representasi Matematis, Soal Berstandar PISA, Konten Uncertainty and data Abstract: This research aimed to describe the mathematical representation skills of students in solving PISA standard problems on the content of uncertainty and data. The research method used is descriptive with qualitative research. The research subjects consisted of 29 students from the ninth grade of SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak, and the data was sourced from tests of mathematical representation skills as well as interviews with students of the ninth grade of SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak. Overall, the study results showed that students' mathematical representation skills in solving PISA standard problems on the content of uncertainty and data were still low, with a percentage of achievement of 35.06%. Evaluation of mathematical representation indicators showed that: (1) students' visual representation skills were classified as low with a percentage achievement of 16.75%, (2) students' verbal representation skills were classified as moderate with a percentage achievement of 64.62%, and (3) students' symbolic representation skills were classified as low with a percentage achievement of 23.75%. Data analysis showed that students had difficulties understanding the problem's context, reading data visually, and understanding the mathematical symbols used in the problem. The results of this research provide an in-depth understanding of students' mathematical representation skills in solving PISA standard problems on the content of uncertainty and data. Abstract

Misconceptions in solving story problems involving the System of Linear Equations of Two Variables (SPLDV) are often a challenge for students. This research aims to identify the types of misconceptions experienced by students of grade VIII of Kasih Yobel Junior High School in Singkawang in solving SPLDV story problems, which are studied from the perspective of numeracy literacy. This research used descriptive qualitative method involving six students as research subjects. Data were collected through diagnostic tests and interviews to identify misconceptions based on numeracy literacy components: understanding, use, interpretation, and communication. The results showed that students experienced several types of misconceptions, especially in the translation of story problems into mathematical form, the use of strategies/methods, and calculations. The misconceptions were caused by students' lack of understanding of the basic concepts of SPLDV and inability to apply mathematical symbols and operations correctly. The discussion of the research results emphasizes the importance of learning approaches that strengthen students' numeracy literacy, especially in terms of understanding concepts and applying effective strategies. The conclusion of this study shows that improving numeracy literacy needs to be a priority in mathematics teaching to reduce misconceptions and improve students' ability to solve SPLDV story problems.
