Abstract

This research goals were to described the role of teachers in implementing student responsibility attitudes in Civic Education learning on rights, obligations, and responsibilities. This research used descriptive qualitative research with the research subjects of fifth grade teachers and fifth grade students of SD Negeri Tegalrejo No. 98. The data collection was cloned by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed consisting of three components, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the teacher's role in implementing an attitude of responsibility that is seen in implementing the attitude of student responsibility was the role of the teacher as a motivator when the teacher inspires students that learning was aimed at gaining achievement, inviting students to be active in learning, providing reinforcement, arousing student interest. The teacher's role as a facilitator when the teacher provides online learning, makes it easy to collect assignments, improves IT skills. The teacher's role as an evaluator when the teacher makes rules in doing assignments, conducts evaluations at each meeting, and corrects student answers.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the profile of the implementation of character education in the PPKn learning material for grade IV Pancasila symbols. The research conducted at SD N Setono Surakarta in 2020/2021 is a descriptive qualitative research. Sources of data came from grade IV students and teachers. Sampling using purposive sampling technique with data collection techniques interviews, questionnaires, and documents. Data validation used source triangulation. The data analysis technique used the analysis of Miles and Huberman. This research stage is the pre-field stage, the fieldwork stage, and the data analysis stage. The result of the research is that the teacher has implemented and provided teaching on character education, especially religion, hard work, discipline, and honesty in learning the PPKn material on the symbols of Pancasila. The implementation of character education is still not optimal because it has several obstacles but the teacher has tried to solve these problems.

Abstract

This qualitative research was undertaken to describe about profile of students creativity thinking skill in natural science of V.3th grade students in SDN Mangkubumen Lor No. 15 Surakarta. The subject that used in this research were 6 students who selected by using purposive sampling. The methods data collection of this research used tests and interviews. Creativity thinking skill aspects include fluency, flexibility, and originality. The results of this research showes that the profile of creativity thinking skill at SDN Mangkubumen Lor No.15  in the creative criteria. Percentage of the profile of creativity thinking skill of V.3th grade in SDN Mangkubumen Lor No. 15 at 77,59%. This is the percentages for each indikator of creativity thinking skill. The percentage of fluency obtained 83.33%. The indicator of flexibility obtained 77.78%. And in the originality indicator obtained 66.67%. The most dominant indicator is fluency. Creative thinking skills are important for every students, so teachers must be able to develop their creativity thinking skill.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the results of expert validation on game-based interactive multimedia development as an effort to improve the cognitive abilities of elementary school students. This study was development research involving the stages of a preliminary study, product development, and testing. Validation was one of the stages in a product development. It was carried out by material experts and media experts. The validation results were analyzed by converting quantitative data into qualitative data on a scale of five. The data of the development validation results were in the form of the validity percentage of the interactive multimedia to improve the cognitive abilities of elementary school students. The results of the interactive multimedia validation showed that the mean score of the validation from the media experts was 4.28 which was included in very good category, and the mean score of the validation from material experts was 4.27 which was included in very good category. Experts generally commented that game-based interactive multimedia was good and interesting and it could be used in the learning activities. Then, the researcher made revisions according to the inputs received from the experts. Improvements in interactive multimedia included adding a button to return to the main menu and the exit button, changing the menu, simplifying the material so that it was not too dense, changing the font size in less readable parts, adding references, moving cartoon characters' feet and hands while walking, and changing evaluation questions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the psychomotor assessment levels based on Anderson and Krathwohl's taxonomy in the integrated thematic book for grade VI, theme 5, entrepreneurship. Methods: This content analysis research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The form of research data was a distribution of psychomotor assessments, categorized according to Anderson and Krathwohl’s taxonomy. The instrument validity used was the Gregory formula. Data validity employed was increased persistence and source triangulation. Sources were obtained from the teacher's book and coursebook. Data collection techniques utilized were document studies. The data analysis technique in this study applied an interactive analysis model from Miles and Huberman. Findings: The results showed that the distribution of psychomotor assessment levels at the imitation level (P1) was 23.33%, the manipulation level (P2) was 6.67%, the precision level (P3) was 36.67%, the articulation level (P4) was 30%, and the naturalization level (P5) was 3.33%. Conclusion: Therefore, it can be concluded that the precision level of psychomotor assessment is the most common because it follows the motor development of elementary school students who are expected to do things independently.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of digital literacy indicators in improving students' reading interests. The research method used is quantitative. The samples in this study were the fifth-grade students at SDN Pajang IV, SDN Tegalrejo, SDN 1 Jajar, and SDN Setono, totaling 86 respondents. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. The data analysis used is SEM (Structural Equation Model) analysis with SmartPLS and SPSS programs. This research was conducted by testing the instrument outside the sample but in one regional population. After that, the instrument was distributed to the research sample. The results of the study revealed that the effectiveness of digital literacy in improving reading interest was 29%. Further research needs to be done to improve elementary school students’ digital literacy and reading interest.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan model pembelajaran outdoor learning melalui wisata edutainment untuk menumbuhkan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu eksperimen dengan desain penelitian menggunakan quasi experimental dengan bentuk one group pretest-posttest. Desain ini membutuhkan satu kelompok sebagai kelompok eksperimen. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas V sekolah dasar negeri 1 Bakipandeyan yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode angket untuk mengukur nilai sikap peduli lingkungan. Instrumen disusun berdasarkan 3 aspek indikator sikap peduli lingkungan yaitu sikap terhadap sumber daya air, tanah, dan udara; sikap terhadap flora dan fauna; serta pengelolaan sampah. Peningkatan karakter peduli lingkungan dianalisis menggunakan uji gain. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran outdor learning yang diterapkan melalui wisata Edutainment berbasis potensi lokal dapat menumbuhkan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran outdoor learning dapat menumbuhkan sikap peduli lingkungan dengan nilai gain 0,33 termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Rekomendasi penelitian ini yaitu guru dapat menerapkan model pembelajaran outdoor learning dengan memanfaatkan wisata berdasarkan potensi lokal yang ada sebagai sumber belajar.

Abstract

Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge (TPACK) can collaborate with the Science Technology Engineering Art Mathematics (STEAM) approach. STEAM is also essential for students to improve their ability and skills to operate and produce science and technology-based products, supported by the TPACK abilities of educators to develop quality technology-based learning. In this study, there were 26 items of integrated TPACK and STEAM activities, with the most findings being content knowledge, as much as 27.50% for science. The second-highest finding was the integration of pedagogical knowledge, as much as 24%. Furthermore, the third most common finding, 17.40%, was the integration of technological knowledge with art and pedagogical content knowledge with art, while 10% of activities integrated content knowledge with art. The last finding found the integration of pedagogical knowledge with science of 3.4%. However, all indicators did not appear mathematical. In addition, the most common finding was the integration of art and pedagogical content knowledge, as much as 34.60%. The percentage of activities integrating engineering and content knowledge was 27%, which was the highest finding. In this case, one activity allows more than one integration.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the use of picture story books inIndonesian language learning in class II SD N 1 Dawuhan Purbalingga. This type of researchis a qualitative research. Subject selection technique using purposive sampling technique. Theresearch subjects were class II students and class II teachers at SD N 1 DawuhanPurbalingga. Sources of data come from students and teachers of class II. Data collectiontechniques using interviews, observation and documentation. Data validity uses triangulationtechniques. Data analysis used Miles and Huberman analysis techniques. The researchprocedure carried out is to reduce data, present data, and draw conclusions. Aspects of the useof picture story media include the relevance of media use, ease of use, the usefulness of media,the ability of teachers to use media, and the availability of media. The results showed thatpicture story books are relevant with basic competencies, objectives, and materials, easy touse, useful, teachers are able to use media, and are available. From the results of the study itwas concluded that the learning media for picture books is an appropriate learning media forIndonesian language learning in class II SD N I Dawuhan Purbalingga. The theoreticalimplication of this research is to find out the usefulness of using picture story books inIndonesian language learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran dalam mengenalkan motif batik kepada siswa jenjang sekolah dasar. Media Pembelajaran yang dikembangkan yaitu multimedia interaktif melalui metode pengembangan dengan tiga tahap yaitu pendefinisian, perancangan dan pengembangan. Penelitian ini memperoleh data melalui forum group discussion melalui guru dan kepala Sekolah Dasar Negeri (SDN) Pitu 3 Ngawi dalam memperoleh permasalahan di lapangan dan menganalisa kebutuhan media pembelajaran, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penilaian ini menggunakan angket kepada ahli media memperoleh persentase 81,11%, ahli materi 85,33%, dan ahli praktisi 96,84%. Penilaian uji coba terbatas siswa SDN Pitu 3 Ngawi mendapatkan persentase 86,2%, sehingga multimedia interaktif Motif Batik Ngawi (MOBAWI) mendapatkan kategori baik untuk digunakan dalam mengenalkan motif batik Ngawi. Multimedia interaktif MOBAWI dapat diterima oleh siswa dan guru sebagai media pembelajaran yang dibutuhkan dalam mengenalkan batik dan efektif dalam membantu proses pembelajaran seni budaya dan prakarya.
