Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of nature education in the development of students' character and its impact on environmental concerns. In the face of urgent environmental challenges, such as climate change and declining biodiversity, education is key to forming a generation that cares about the environment. To achieve this goal, the study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, which collects and analyzes a variety of relevant related studies. This method includes the identification, evaluation, and synthesis of previous research, so as to uncover emerging patterns and themes in the context of nature education. The results of the study showed that nature education significantly increased students' ecological awareness. Active involvement in outdoor activities—such as tree planting, beach cleanups, and conservation projects—encourages students to adopt eco-friendly behaviors. Through hands-on experience, students not only gain theoretical knowledge, but also build an empathetic and responsible attitude towards environmental sustainability. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating nature education in the curriculum, which not only shapes the character of students, but also prepares them to become responsible leaders in efforts to safeguard and preserve the environment. With this approach, it is hoped that future generations can be more active in overcoming global environmental challenges.

Abstract

Penelitian ditujukan untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pengembangan usaha masyarakat non produktif melalui UMKM berbasis bahan dasar bekatul. Kegiatan pengabdian yaitu pemberian materi tentang kandungan bekatul, cara pengolahan bekatul sebagai pakan ternak berkualitas dan makanan bergizi, pengemasan dan pemasaran produk. Jumlah peserta yang diikutsertakan dalam program ini yakni sebanyak 35 masyarakat dengan teknik pengumpulan data penelitian dengan cara: observasi potensi, wawancara, analisis data sekunder, dan dokumentasi. Metode kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan cara pemaparan materi oleh ahli, fact finding (analisis kebutuhan), discussion (diskusi antara pemateri), asking and answering (tanya jawab dan diskusi), dan recitation (resitasi atau pembagian tugas), practice and experiment (praktik dan eksperimen). Hasil kegiatan ini berupa temuan bahwa saat ini masyarakat memiliki pemahaman pengolahan bekatul terbatas pada produk olahan untuk pakan ternak. Kegiatan diskusi memberikan paradigma baru terhadap masyarakat untuk mengolah berbagai macam produk makanan berbahan bekatul. Pelatihan ini memberikan bekal kepada masyarakat untuk menganalisis produk berbahan bekatul untuk dikembangkan menjadi produk olahan makanan sehingga memiliki nilai jual yang lebih tinggi. Kegiatan pengabdian membekali masyarakat untuk memiliki pengetahuan dasar pengolahan makanan hingga ke tahap pemasaran sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis praktik manajemen saat ini, tantangan, dan proses operasional dalam bank sampah kampus, dengan menekankan pada kontribusinya terhadap keberlanjutan lingkungan, sosial, dan ekonomi. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen untuk mendapatkan wawasan tentang bagaimana bank sampah beroperasi dan selaras dengan tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan, khususnya dalam upaya pengurangan dan daur ulang sampah. Lebih lanjut, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi potensi peningkatan dalam operasi bank sampah untuk meningkatkan dampaknya terhadap komunitas kampus, dan mendorong tanggung jawab praktik sampah mahasiswa. Manajemen bank sampah kampus memiliki dampak signifikan dalam mempromosikan keberlanjutan lingkungan, ekonomi, dan sosial dalam lingkungan kampus. Bank sampah kampus memainkan peran kunci dalam mengurangi volume sampah melalui prinsip 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), yang secara bersamaan meningkatkan kesadaran dan tanggung jawab lingkungan di kalangan mahasiswa dan komunitas kampus yang lebih luas. Selain berfungsi sebagai solusi untuk pengelolaan sampah, bank sampah memberikan potensi ekonomi dengan mengubah sampah menjadi nilai ekonomi bagi mahasiswa dan komunitas kampus.

Abstract

Keterampilan komunikasi merupakan salah satu kemampuan penting bagi siswa sekolah dasar untuk bersosialisasi dan belajar efektif. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengkaji literatur mengenai efektivitas penerapan Team Game Turnament (TGT) berbantuan Ludo dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa sekolah dasar. Artikel ini merupakan kajian literatur yang bersumber dari jurnal nasional di google scholar. Metode penelitian ini yaitu kajian literatur dengan mencari referensi teori yang relevan dengan kasus atau permasalahan yang ditemukan. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan TGT berbantuan Ludo memiliki efek positif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa sekolah dasar, seperti: kemampuan berbicara dan mendengarkan; kemampuan bekerja sama dan bertukar ide; kemampuan menyelesaikan konflik dan membangun rasa saling menghormati. Kesimpulannya penerapan TGT berbantuan Ludo dapat menjadi strategi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Growing environmental degradation has become a pressing global issue, highlighting the importance of education in shaping the environmental awareness of the younger generation. This study aims to fill the gap in the literature regarding the contribution of schools in building sustainable learning ecosystems that promote environmental awareness among students. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach in several schools that implement environmental education programs. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with principals, teachers, and students, observation of school activities, and document analysis of environment-related education policies. The results showed that the integration of environmental issues in the curriculum, the implementation of nature-based extracurricular programs, and the management of environmentally friendly school facilities play a significant role in building students' awareness of sustainability. Activities such as reforestation, waste management and environmental campaigns allow students to be directly involved in sustainability practices, which in turn increases their understanding of and responsibility for environmental conservation. The involvement of various stakeholders, including families and communities, to support the creation of an effective learning ecosystem. This research provides strategic recommendations for policy makers to design a more integrated and impactful environmental education program. This research is expected to serve as a guide in efforts to strengthen environmental awareness through an educational approach

Abstract

The rapid evolution of digital technologies has redefined educational practices and emphasized the need to enhance teachers’ competencies in implementing interactive learning tools. This study aims to examine the challenges and opportunities associated with teacher professional development in digitally enriched classrooms. Adopting a qualitative case study design, the research utilizes semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis to investigate how targeted professional development programs influence pedagogical practices and support the integration of interactive technologies. A total of 25 teachers were selected from a diverse mix of educational levels, including primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions. Findings indicate that structured training programs, grounded in theoretical frameworks such as TPACK and SAMR, significantly enhance teachers’ capacity to foster student engagement and improve learning outcomes. Additionally, the study underscores the importance of collaborative learning communities and sustained support systems in maintaining teachers’ digital competence. This study concludes that continuous, theory-informed, and context-sensitive professional development initiatives are essential for equipping educators to navigate the complexities of modern digital classrooms. This study contributes to the growing literature on digital pedagogy by providing practical insights and strategic recommendations for advancing teacher development in the context of interactive learning technologies.

Abstract

Curriculum alterations have become a common occurrence, coincident with advances in technology and informational resources. This is designed to maintain alignment with the current educational landscape and to ensure relevance to contemporary times. Research is a scientific process that is formal and intensive. This is because it refers to established rules, cycles, and ways of representation that are necessary to obtain results that are recognized and beneficial to human life. The methodology employed in this research study was a systematic review of the literature. This approach was utilized to describe and elucidate the fundamental tenets of qualitative, quantitative research, as well as research and development initiatives associated with the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum. This result of the study is the concepts of qualitative, quantitative, and research & development research—along with their respective characteristics, types, and applications—offer significant benefits in the realm of education, particularly in the context of curriculum development. These research methodologies, which are commonly utilized in educational settings, align with the 2013 curriculum guidelines, facilitating studies or research related to education, thereby enabling more effective and impactful outcomes.

Abstract

This study investigates the application of educational technology and teacher competence in enhancing teaching effectiveness within the Islamic religious education curriculum at Madrasah Aliyah in Indonesia. Utilizing a quantitative analysis approach, data were collected from a sample of 180 respondents using a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 5. The data were analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The findings reveal that the relationships between educational technology and teaching effectiveness (H1), teacher competence and teaching effectiveness (H2), as well as teaching effectiveness and the Islamic education curriculum (H3), are all positive and significant. These results underscore the critical role of both educational technology and teacher competence in improving teaching effectiveness, which in turn positively impacts the Islamic education curriculum. This study provides valuable insights for policymakers and educators aiming to enhance the quality of Islamic religious education through the strategic application of educational technology and the development of teacher competencies.

Abstract

Self-directedness is a crucial skill for prospective science teachers, and the Think-Pair-Project-Share (TP2S) model has shown promise in fostering collaboration and critical thinking. This aim study to investigates the effectiveness of TP2S in promoting self-directed learning among these future educators. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the think-pair-project-share (TP2S) learning model in facilitating the self-directedness of prospective science teachers. This quantitative research uses a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were second semester students, while the research sample consisted of 72 students. The self-directedness data collection technique uses an instrument in the form of a scale. Based on the results of the paired sample T test, it can be seen that both experimental classes obtained a Sig value. (2-tailed) 0.000. It can be concluded that the paired sample T test value in the experimental class is 0.000<0.05 so that there is a significant difference in results between the pretest and posttest scores (H0 is rejected). It can be concluded that there is a difference in self-directedness between students who study human and environmental subjects using the think pair project share model and those who use the conventional model. It is known that the application of the TP2S learning model has an effect on the self-directedness of prospective science teachers. The implications of this research support and strengthen the results of theoretical studies that the TP2S learning model is a student-centered learning model that utilizes the ability to manage learning strategies independently.

Abstract

Penelitian ini melakukan analisis bibliometrik untuk mengeksplorasi evolusi dan hubungan antardisiplin dalam penelitian Artificial Intelligence (AI) menggunakan VOSviewer. Hasil studi mengungkapkan bahwa AI telah berintegrasi secara luas dalam berbagai sektor, termasuk kesehatan, keuangan, dan pengembangan kota cerdas, menunjukkan dampak transformasionalnya di berbagai bidang. Analisis ini juga menyoroti pentingnya data science dan cloud computing dalam mendukung kapabilitas AI serta menekankan isu keamanan, privasi, dan etika sebagai pertimbangan penting dalam pengembangan AI. Selanjutnya, temuan menunjukkan kebutuhan kolaborasi interdisipliner untuk mengatasi tantangan kompleks yang dihadapi dalam penerapan AI. Studi ini memberikan panduan yang berguna untuk pengembangan kebijakan dan strategi yang dapat memanfaatkan potensi AI sambil mengatasi risiko yang terkait.
