Abstract

Penelitian ini secara khusus bertujuan untuk menelaah kemampuan mahasiswa calon guru Pendidikan Matematika dalam menyusun bukti matematis, serta mengamati kendala apa saja yang dialami mahasiswa dalam menyusun bukti matematis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Universitas Islam Riau jurusan Pendidikan Matematika, pada mahasiswa semester VI sebanyak 21 orang mahasiswa yang mengikuti mata kuliah Struktur Aljabar tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pembuktian matematis mahasiswa Universitas Islam Riau dalam menjawab soal Struktur Aljabar memperoleh rata-rata skor sebesar 26 dari skor maksimum 50. Ini artinya kemampuan pembuktian matematis mahasiswa masih kategori cukup namun perlu ditingkatkan lagi agar skor yang diperoleh lebih tinggi. Persentase rata-rata skor kemampuan pembuktian matematis adalah 52%.Kata Kunci: Menyusun Bukti Matematis, Mahasiswa Calon Guru, Struktur Aljabar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan rendahnya kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa selaku calon guru, serta terjadinya perubahan sistem pembelajaran dari tatap muka menjadi pembelajaran secara daring di masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian bertujuan agar meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa melalui bahan ajar berbasis multimedia interaktif untuk mendukung pembelaran online. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif (kuasi eksperimen) yang dilaksanakan di 2 Universitas yaitu Universitas Islam Riau (UIR) dan Universitas Pasir Pengaraian (UPP) . Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa calon guru matematika yang mengontrak mata kuliah Struktur Aljabar di UIR (kelas eksperimen) dan mahasiswa calon guru matematika di UPP (kelas kontrol) pada tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan penalaran dan data hasil tes diolah dengan uji statistik. Uji normalitas menggunakan Kolmogorov-Smirnov dan uji homogenitas menggunakan Levene serta uji T. Berdasarkan hasil uji T, diperoleh nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,029 < 0,05. Artinya terjadi peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis multimedia interaktif.

Abstract

This research aims to produce teaching materials through the learning obstacle analysis of mathematics education students in mathematical problem solving ability in Linear Algebra Courses that are practically tested. This type of research is research and development. The subjects of this study were 40 students in the Mathematics Education Study Program at the Islamic University of Riau in the third semester of 2019/2020. In this study, the data used were the results of the validation questionnaire trial data that was assessed by experts called the validator. The data obtained will be analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study, the percentage of overall product trial results obtained was 91.86% with a very practical category. This means that the developed learning tool is very easy to use by students in the learning process and can also overcome student learning difficulties (learning obstacle) in this case the ability to solve mathematical problems in Linear Algebra. Overall the results of the study indicate that the learning tools developed are suitable for use and can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Mathematical abilities that students must possess at the level of primary and secondary education must also be possessed by a student of teacher candidates who will teach mathematics. One of the abilities is an analogical reasoning ability. The main objectives of this research are: 1) To describe and analyze analogical reasoning ability of students of mathematics education at the State Islamic Universities (UIN) in Indonesia, 2) To know the differences of analogical reasoning abilities of students of mathematics education at several State Islamic Universities (UIN) in Indonesia. The study was conducted at 6 UINs in Indonesia with a sample of 203 5th semester students using a survey method. This study's results indicate: 1) Analogical reasoning ability in Mathematics Education students consisting of 6 UINs in Indonesia can be seen from the average value in each sample. The acquisition of the average value of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta students' analogical reasoning ability is the highest compared to the other 5 UINs with an average mathematical reasoning ability value of 65. 2. There is a difference in mathematics education students' analogical reasoning ability at the State Islamic Universities (UIN) in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract. This research is motivated by the epistemological difficulties of students in mathematical concepts. This research aims to make a didactic design in courses of Mathematics Basic Concepts. The method used in this research is Didactic Design Research (DDR). This research was conducted at the University majoring in Elementary School Teacher Education in the first semester in Riau, who attended in courses of Mathematics Basic Concepts as many as 43 students. Data collection techniques in this research were carried out by triangulation which is a combination of written tests, interviews and documentation studies, with data sources of students and lecturers. The results of the study were didactic designs consisting of three learning designs. Didactic design was developed through three stages. Firstly arranging an initial didactic design based on student difficulties, secondly a methapedadidactic analysis is carried out while learning takes place and thirdly a retrospective analysis is done by comparing the results of the initial obstacle learning test and the results of the final obstacle learning test. The retrospective analysis carried out by comparing the results of the initial obstacle learning test and the results of the final obstacle learning test. Result shows that there are fewer student learning difficulties and some are still happening, so that a revised didactic design is needed to improve the initial didactic design so that student learning difficulties can be overcome. The results of the didactic design implementation of students' mathematical reasoning concepts are in accordance with the predictions of the responses made.Keywords: Didactic Design, Mathematical Reasoning, Learning Obstacle, Retrospective Analysis.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan Computational Thinking (CT) mahasiswa selaku calon guru, serta terjadinya perubahan sistem pembelajaran dari tatap muka menjadi pembelajaran secara daring di masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini secara khusus bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan computational thinking matematis mahasiswa melalui bahan ajar berbasis multimedia interaktif guna mendukung pembelaran online. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif (kuasi eksperimen) yang dilaksanakan di 2 Universitas yang berada di provinsi Riau. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa calon guru matematika yang mengontrak mata kuliah Struktur Aljabar di UIR (kelas eksperimen) dan mahasiswa calon guru matematika di UPP (kelas kontrol). Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan computational thinking dan data hasil tes diolah dengan uji statistik. Uji normalitas menggunakan Kolmogorov-Smirnov dan uji homogenitas menggunakan Levene serta uji Anova 2 jalur. Berdasarkan hasil uji Anova 2 jalur, diperoleh nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,001 < α = 0,05. Abstract

Abstrak. Kegiatan pendidikan pada masa pandemi dilakukan dengan metode pembelajaran online. Karakteristik pendekatan RME dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran daring selama pandemi. Poin mendasar dari RME adalah bahwa pelajaran harus dimulai dengan konteks masalah yang realistis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dokumen terkait RME dalam pembelajaran matematika dan memvisualisasikannya. Database dimensions digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data yang dibutuhkan dan ditampilkan dengan Software VOSviewer, selanjutnya dilakukan analisis dan evaluasi berdasarkan pasangan bibliografi. Terdapat 216 dokumen terkait RME dalam pembelajaran matematika selama masa pandemi. Adapun jumlah dokumen terbanyak yaitu pada Negara Indonesia, pada jurnal “Journal of Physics Conference Series”, pada organisasi “State University of Padang” dan pada penulis Armiati (Indonesia). Keyword “RME” dan “mathematics learning” menjadi keyword yang sering muncul pada bidang ini. Keyword RME belum terhubung secara langsung dengan keyword lain seperti disposisi matematika, kognitif, metakognitif, dan LKPD.Kata Kunci: RME, Pembelajaran Matematika, Pandemi, Bibliometrik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbedaan disposisi berpikir kritis matematis mahasiswa melalui pembelajaran Concept Attainment Model dan pembelajaran konvensional. Analisis data menggunakan uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov, uji Levene, Uji t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan disposisi berpikir kritis matematis mahasiswa kelas eksperimen dengan kelas konvensional secara keseluruhan. Untuk kedepannya disarankan penerapan Concept Attainment Model dilakukan dalam jangka waktu satu semester dan jumlah mahasiswa satu kelas tidak lebih dari 30 orang agar mendapatkan hasil penelitian yang maksimal.Kata kunci : Concept Attainment Model, Disposisi Berpikir Kritis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini secara umum dilakukan untuk mengatasi kesulitan mahasiswa dalam memahami mata kuliah di jurusan pendidikan matematika khususnya mata kuliah analisis real, di samping itu secara khusus penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah, mendeskripsikan, dan membandingkan perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis antara mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran concept attainment model dan pembelajaran konvensional secara keseluruhan. Desain penelitian ini adalah two groups randomized subject post- test only dengan desain faktorial 2 x 3. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Matematika di Universitas Islam Riau, yang terdiri dari 60 mahasiswa pada semester IV tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes tentang kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yang terdiri dari 3 indikator. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan uji parametrik (Anova 2 jalur) atau non parametrik. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh informasi bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis mahasiwa yang menggunakan pembelajaran Concept Attainment Model (CAM) lebih baik dari mahasiswa yang menggunakan Pembelajaran Konvensional (PK) ditinjau secara keseluruhan. Kata kunci: Concept Attainment Model, Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Matematis, Analisis Real

Abstract

The critical thinking ability is fundamental in learning mathematics so it must be possessed by students as prospective teachers. In fact, the students' mathematical critical thinking ability is still relatively low. In this case, one of the causes is the change in learning system from face-to-face to online learning. One effort that can be done to overcome this issue is to apply interactive multimedia-based learning. Current research was further conducted in this matter, aiming to improve students' mathematical critical thinking ability through interactive multimedia-based learning to support online learning. This quantitative research (quasi-experimental) was carried out by involving prospective mathematics teacher students enrolling in the algebraic structure course in 2021/2022 at Universitas Islam Riau (UIR) as the experimental class and prospective mathematics teacher students at Universitas Pasir Pengaraian (UPP) as the control class. The data were further collected through a mathematical critical thinking ability test which were further analyzed through statistical tests. Based on the results of the t-test, there was an increase in students' mathematical critical thinking ability who received a learning process using interactive multimedia.
