Students are required to be actively involved during the learning process in accordance with the development of 21st-century learning. Student learning activities can occur through expressing opinions, solving problems, and discussing materials during the learning process. Learning models should always implement the stimulation of these abilities. Thus, this study is to analyze the influence of the Think Pair Share learning model on students' learning activities. This study was an experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study was all class 8 as many as 192 students in one of the junior high schools in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Students belonging to class VIIIA (32 students) were the experimental students' group, and students in VIIIC (32 students) were the control group. Data was collected based on 15 items of students’ activeness in learning mathematics. The results demonstrated that the application of the Think Pair Share learning model had an impact on the activeness of student learning. In addition, Think Pair method can improve the activeness of learning mathematics students, higher than in classes that implemented conventional learning models (25.31 > 15.78). This is because the application of the Think Pair share learning model provides opportunities for students to think, respond, and present problems provided by teachers so that students are fully involved during the mathematics learning process. The recommendations for further research can be carried out in several schools not just one school, student learning activity can also be increased by using other cooperative models, and can be further improved whether there are other competences that can boost the model's usage.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan komik matematika interaktif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi dan motivasi belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian true eksperimen dengan desain pretest posttest control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIIIA sebagai kelas eksperimen berjumlah 21 siswa dan kelas VIIIB sebagai kelas kontrol berjumlah 19 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, soal pretest dan posttest kemampuan literasi numerasi dan angket motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan komik matematika efektif meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi dan motivasi belajar siswa. Hal ini dikarenakan komik matematika disajikan berdasarkan konsep cerita yang menarik, bentuk percakapan sehari-hari yang interaktif sehingga dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Dalam komik matematika, soal-soal yang disajikan juga menstimulus kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa karena disajikan dengan informasi-informasi berbentuk angka, data, dan simbol yang berhubungan dengan matematika. Selain itu, dengan pembelajaran menggunakan komik matematika siswa dituntut untuk dapat menganalisis berbagai informasi berbentuk grafik, tabel, bagan, dan kemampuan menarik sebuah kesimpulan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan komik matematika dalam pembelajaran matematika efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi dan motivasi belajar siswa.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Menganalisis penyebab kesulitan yang dialami siswa dalam memecahkan masalah pada materi aritmetika dan geometri (2) Mendeskripsikan kesulitan apa sajakah yang dialami oleh siswa dengan kecerdasan logis-matematis tinggi, sedang, dan rendah dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika pada materi aritmetika dan geometri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan metode tes dan wawancara. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 6 orang siswa kelas XI IPS 1 MAN 1 Sleman yang ditentukan melalui teknik purposive sampling dengan menggunakan instrumen bantu berupa tes kecerdasan logis matematis dan kemampuan komunikasi siswa. Selanjutnya, identifikasi kesulitan siswa berdasarkan penelitian Polya (Siti dan Hana, 2015). Validitas yang digunakan adalah triangulasi metode. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari menelaah seluruh data yang tersedia dari berbagai sumber, reduksi data, menyusun data, mengadakan pemeriksaan, keabsahan data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan kesulitan pada siswa kategori kecerdasan logis matematis siswa. Jenis dan penyebab kesulitan siswa sebagai berikut : (1) Jenis kesulitan siswa dengan kecerdasan logis matematis tinggi adalah siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam melaksanakan rencana pemecahan masalah yang tepat. Kesulitan yang dialami siswa berupa ketidakmampuan siswa melakukan operasi deret aritmatika dengan benar sehingga tidak tepat dalam menentukan jawaban akhir (2) Jenis kesulitan siswa dengan kecerdasan logis matematis sedang adalah siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam membuat rencana pemecahan masalah dan melaksanakan rencana pemecahan masalah. Kesulitan yang dialami siswa dengan kecerdasan logis matematis sedang dalam membuat rencana pemecahan masalah berupa ketidakmampuan siswa dalam memilih rumus dan rencana penyelesaian yang benar. (3) Jenis kesulitan siswa dengan kecerdasan logis matematis rendah adalah siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami masalah, kesulitan dalam membuat rencana pemecahan masalah, kesulitan dalam melaksanakan pemecahan masalah dan kesulitan dalam memeriksa kembali jawaban yang dihasilkan.

Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui respon peserta didik terhadap penggunaan game edukasi Quizizz dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif tentang tingkat kepuasan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran matematika menggukan Quizizz. Data yang akan digunakan merupakan data yang didapatkan melalui angket respon peserta didik. Respons peserta didik dikumpulkan menggunakan angket dengan skala likert, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik kategorisasi data. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik SMA Negeri 1 Pengasih di kelas X MIPA 2. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 36 peserta didik dengan 18 peserta didik dengan hasil belajar rendah (B1) dan 18 peserta didik dengan hasil belajar tinggi (B2). Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Quizizz yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti dan angket respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian terhadap penggunaan Quizizz yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti menunjukkan bahwa pada peserta didik B1 menunjukkan bahwa Quizizz yang digunakan bermanfaat, mudah dipakai, mudah dipelajari, dan peserta didik B1 puas dengan Quizizz yang digunakan. Sedangkan pada peserta didik B2 menunjukkan bahwa Quizizz yang digunakan bermanfaat, mudah dipakai, mudah dipelajari, dan peserta didik B2 puas dengan Quizizz yang digunakan. Selain itu, diperoleh data hasil uji statistik yang mengatakan bahwa walaupun peserta didik B1 dan B2 memiliki perbedaan hasil belajar, itu tidak mempengaruhi respon peserta didik terhadap proses pembelajaran menggunakan Quizizz. Abstract:The purpose of the study was to determine the response of students to the use of educational games Quizizz in learning mathematics. This research is a descriptive study about the level of student satisfaction in the learning process using Quizizz. Student responses were collected using a questionnaire with a Likert scale, then analysed using data categorization techniques. The population used in this study were students of SMA Negeri 1 Pengasih in class X MIPA 2. The sample used was 36 students with 18 students with low learning outcomes (B1) and 18 students with high learning outcomes (B2). The instrument used in this research is Quizizz which was developed by the researcher and student response questionnaire. The results of the study on the use of Quizizz developed by the researchers showed that the B1 students showed that the Quizizz used was useful, easy to use, easy to learn, and the B1 students were satisfied with the Quizizz used. Meanwhile, B2 students showed that the Quizizz used was useful, easy to use, easy to learn, and B2 students were satisfied with the Quizizz used. In addition, statistical test results were obtained which said that although students B1 and B2 had different learning outcomes, it did not affect students' responses to the learning process using Quizizz

Technological developments demand innovation in the implementation of education, one of which is the implementation of learning evaluation. Currently, learning evaluation can be done online through asynchronous learning. Asynchronous learning is student-centred because it can make students learn independently using the necessary online learning resources. For this reason, this study aims to describe the need for evaluating mathematics tests through asynchronous learning to improve student learning outcomes. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The population taken in this study were students of class X SMA in Yogyakarta, with a sample of class X IPA 3 of as many as 36 students taken by purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used interviews, preliminary study questionnaires, and the value of the end-of-semester assessment result. The results showed that as many as 16,67% of students' mathematics learning was still below the KKM, the implementation of mathematics tests had not been carried out using moodle-based asynchronous learning, and as many as 80% of students were interested in evaluation activities, or tests were carried out online through moodle-based asynchronous learning. The research shows that evaluating students’ mathematics tests through asynchronous learning needs to be applied to improve student learning outcomes.

Indonesia is one of the countries with a high consumption of rice-based paddy, where rice has a high glycemic index. The Women Farmers Group (KWT Ngudi Makmur) in the Sukoharjo Village area, Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta as a partner has started producing various local agricultural products such as bananas and cassava into flour. Based on observations, partners have an experienced of declined in production and sales as a result of the pandemic situation, and there is still a lack of diversification of food based on local ingredients due to difficulties in carrying out other innovations in food processing. This also increases the number of unemployed and reduces community empowerment. The mentoring step is carried out with the observation stage, providing counseling and training to all KWT members in making various healthy food preparations based on local agriculture, inviting partners to re-examine the production process and record the components of raw materials, tools, labor, packaging until they are ready for market. The production process flow is examined jointly by the service team and partners. The results obtained show that partners are able to apply each stage of making analog rice. In the meantime, a product sensory test has been carried out by KWT members and several members of the public and the product results are acceptable.

Personâ€™s buying interest are usually influenced by many factors, and one ofiot is the celebrities as endorsers that used as a promotional media in the form of advertising. By using celebrities as endorsers, someone will have interest in buying particular product. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to find out whether the celebritiesâ€™ endorsers have an influence on increasing interest in buying Pantene shampoo. The population in this study were 266 students of the Communication Science Study Program, Universitas Mercu Buana Yogyakarta class of 2021, while the sample for this study is using the Krejie and Morgan sampling technique with 155 students. The instrument that is used in this research is the celebritiesâ€™ endorsers and buying interest questionnaire which has been modified by the researcher. This type of research is quantitative research with a mixed methods approach. The obtained data were then analyzed using SPSS software. The results of the study showed celebrities as endorsers have an influence on the intention to buy Pantene shampoo. The magnitude of the effect is 15,4%, so that the other factors as much as 84,4% are influenced by other variables that isnâ€™t examined. Furthermore, there were no differences between male and female regarding the influence of celebrities as endorsers on purchase intention of Pantene shampoo.

Critical thinking is one of the essential skills in the 21st century that can be developed through learning mathematics, but in practice, there has not been much facilitation of learning media. Realistic mathematics learning by utilizing culture as well as integrating technology can be used as an ideal starting point for learning. This study aims to develop a mobile learning-based mathematics learning device with a realistic learning approach in the context of the Tedhak Siten ceremony to improve students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is development research that refers to the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The data sources in this study were students and validators. The instruments used were the mobile learning application, the pretest, and posttest questions, the material expert validation questionnaire, the media expert validation questionnaire, and the student response questionnaire. The results showed that the validity aspect obtained a good category from the media expert validator and the material expert, the practical aspect of students as users obtained a good category, and the effectiveness aspect obtained a significant increase in pretest to posttest scores. So that learning mathematics with mobile learning applications can develop students' critical thinking skills and have potential effects.

Problem solving skills are useful for training students to face increasingly complex problems. Learning models that have not been able to stimulate these abilities need to be applied. Thus, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Think Pair Share learning model to improve students' problem solving abilities. This type of research is experimental research with pretest posttest control group design. The samples in this study were class VIIIA students as the experimental class and class VIIIC students as the control class, each class totaling 32 students. Data collection techniques used interviews, observations, and problem-solving ability test questions on the Pythagorean theorem material. The results showed that the application of the Think Pair Share learning model has been proven to be effective in improving students' problem solving abilities. Based on the results of the increase in students' problem-solving ability tests, the experimental class was higher than the control class (32.5 21.88). In addition, the application of the Think Pair Share learning model gives students more time to think deeply about what is being explained or experienced (thinking, answering, and helping each other). In addition, the TPS learning model also provides opportunities for students to think deeply and can help each other.

Instagram is a social network application based on photos and videos. However, overusing Instagram can influence its usersâ€™ mental health. Therefore, this research aims to dive into whether or not Instagramâ€™s dependency that affects the mental health aspect occurs in FIKOMM UMBY students. The population in this research is Communication Science Department, Universitas Mercu Buana Yogyakarta batch 2021, with as many as 266 students. Meanwhile, the researcher uses Krejie and Morgan technique to obtain 145 students as the sample. The instrument used is a questionnaire on Instagramâ€™s dependency towards mental health, which the writers have already modified. This research is classified as a quantitative one. The data gathered is then analyzed by using SPSS software. In the end, the result illuminates that there is indeed a high dependency between Instagram and the FIKOMM UMBY students. The approximate level of dependency is as much as 26,2%; thus, the other 83,8% is influenced by further factors.
