Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan aplikasi pembelajaran MathApp dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain penelitian pretest posttest control group design. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pengasih. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X MIPA 2 dan X MIPA 4. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan penyebaran soal pretest dan posttest kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada materi sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah penggunaan aplikasi pembelajaran Mathapp berbasis android dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik daripada pembelajaran langsung tanpa menggunakan aplikasi pembelajaran MathApp. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan aplikasi pembelajaran MathApp yang memuat indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik. Kesimpulan ini didapatkan berdasarkan hasil uji statistik yaitu uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test dimana hasil uji dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol memiliki sig. 2 tailed < 0,05, uji Mann-Whitney U Test dimana memiiki sig. 2 tailed < 0,05, dan uji perbedaan rata-rata yang menunjukkan peningkatan di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yaitu 55,16 dan 28,58 yang menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi pembelajaran MathApp lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik daripada pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan aplikasi pembelajaran MathApp.Abstract:  The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using the MathApp learning application in improving students' problem solving abilities. This type of research was experimental research using a pretest posttest control group design. The population used in this study were students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Pengasih. The sample used in this study were students in class X MIPA 2 and X MIPA 4. The sample selection was carried out using a purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used was observation, interviews, and the distribution of pretest and posttest questions on students' problem solving abilities in the material system of equations of three linear variables. The research hypothesis is that the use of the Android-based Mathapp learning application can improve students' problem-solving skills rather than direct learning without using the MathApp learning application. The results of this study are the use of the MathApp learning application which contains indicators of problem-solving abilities that have proven to be effective in improving students' problem-solving abilities. This conclusion was obtained based on the results of statistical tests, namely the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test where the test results from the experimental class and the control class had sig. 2 tailed <0.05, Mann-Whitney U Test which has sig. 2 tailed < 0.05, and the average difference test shows an increase in the experimental class and control class, namely 55.16 and 28.58 which shows that that learning using the MathApp learning application is more effective in improving students' problem solving abilities than learning without using the MathApp learning application.

Abstract

This community service aims to provide training on creating a WordWall educational game for teachers at SMA Dharma Amiluhur, Sedayu, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The training was held in May at the school and was attended by 25 teachers of all subjects. This activity begins with an introduction regarding the types of educational games, the advantages and disadvantages of each educational game, and the latest developments related to the benefits of using educational games for learning. In addition, this service is also focused on providing knowledge and understanding to teachers at Dharma Amiluhur High School regarding the benefits of the WordWall educational game, the features on the website and how to make it. The results of the dedication show that the success indicators have been achieved, namely ≥75% of teachers understand the benefits and features of WordWall, attendance at each meeting is 80%, and all teachers can make educational games WordWall with various features available even in learning that takes place after training, teachers at SMA Dharam Amiluhur have used the educational game WordWall as a learning evaluation website that students must work on. Therefore, this community service has achieved the set indicators of success and the goal of making teachers at the school able to understand and use the WordWall educational game has been achieved.

Abstract

Peningkatan keterampilan literasi digital masyarakat inlusif di desa Argosari perlu dikembangkan agar dapat membuat dan mengembangkan konten kreatif untuk sosial media maupun iklan. Oleh karena itu, tujuan pelatihan dalam pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan cara pembuatan dan pengembangan konten berbantuan platform canva untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Pelatihan ini dilakukan oleh tim pelaksana Program Penguatan Kapasitas Organisasi Kemahasiswa (PPK Ormawa) Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (BEM FKIP) Univesitas Mercu Buana Yogyakarta kepada masyarakat inklusif di desa Argosari, Yogyakarta. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa desain canva sebagai salah satu upaya meningkatkan literasi digital masyarakat inklusif di desa Argosari Yogyakarta telah mememnuhi indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan. Peserta mengalami peningkatan yang signfikan pada pengetahuan tentang literasi digital dan dasar-dasar canva, bahkan peserta telah dapat membuat konten media sosial dan iklan untuk promosi. Selain itu, antusiasme peserta disetiap pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan sehingga ketercapaian pelatihan ini menjadi semakin tinggi. Platform canva sebagai salah satu upaya meningkatkan dan mengembangkan literasi digital pada indikator ketrampilan menggunakan teknologi digital telah dimiliki oleh masyarakat inklusif di desa Argosari, Yogykarta.

Abstract

Klinik literasi memiliki berbagai macam manfaat yang sangat berguna bagi kehidupan masyarakat di desa Argosari yaitu Klinik Guyub Rukun. Klinik ini dikembangkan lebih lanjut oleh tim Program Penguatan Kapasitas Organisasi Kemahasiswaan (PPK Ormawa) Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Mercu Buana Yogyakarta. Tim PPK Ormawa berusaha mengoptimalkan peran klinik literasi melalui berbagai aktivitas yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat sekitar. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memaparkan optimalisasi peran klinik literasi Guyub Rukun melalui kagiatan BSB (Bermain Sambil Belajar). Kegiatan BSB diikuti oleh masyarkaat sekitar terutama yang berusia anak-anak. Hasil pengabdian ini adalah adanya berbagai macam kegiatan BSB yang dapat meningkatkan partisipasi dan kunjungan masyarakat di klinik literasi, yaitu kegiatan bernyanyi, kegiatan membaca buku, dan kegiatan mewarnai. Ketiga kegiatan ini diikuti dengan aktif oleh masyarakat disana dan memfasilitasi masyarakat untuk mengembangkan dan meningkatkan kemampuan literasi. Sehingga, kegiatan pengabdian ini mampu mengoptimalkan peranan klinik literasi Guyub Rukun di desa Argosari.

Abstract

The development of mathematics e-worksheets focused on forming critical thinking skills for class VII students is still very minimally carried out by teachers. This research is critical to test the effectiveness of guided inquiry-based e-worksheets implemented using the blended learning method in improving students' critical thinking abilities. The type of research was a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent pretest-post-test control group design involving two subjects: the experimental group that applied guided inquiry-based e-worksheets and the control group that used other e-worksheets. Each subject group consisted of 18 students from one of the Yogyakarta boarding schools, which became the research population. Research data came from pretest and post-test results collected using critical thinking test instruments developed based on indicators from Facione (2018). Data analysis was conducted using a paired sample t-test followed by an independent sample t-test. The results of data analysis show: (1) there is a significant difference between the pretest and post-test results in the experimental group; (2) there is a significant difference between the results of students' critical thinking tests in the experimental and control groups; and (3) the difference in increasing critical thinking skills of students in the experimental group is higher than students in the control group. These results conclude that applying guided inquiry-based e-worksheets using the blended learning method is more effective than other e-worksheets when viewed from the aspect of increasing students' critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the students' response to the use of Electronic Student Worksheet in mathematics learning. The instruments utilized in this study include a questionnaire on student responses and Electronic Student Worksheet based on liveworksheet. The population for this research consists of students from SMA Negeri 4 Yogyakarta in the XI MIPA 2 class. The sample comprises 31 students. The findings of this study indicate that the Electronic Student Worksheet based on liveworksheet receives an overall excellent response. The results show that students' responses to the Electronic Student Worksheet learning media in a small-scale trial, with an average score of 83.5, fall into the excellent category, while their responses in a large-scale trial, with an average score of 78.13, fall into the good category. Based on the analysis conducted, it can be concluded that learning outcomes significantly influence students' questionnaire responses in terms of the quality of content, technical quality, learning quality, and material suitability in Electronic Student Worksheet. Furthermore, it can be inferred from the student questionnaire responses that, overall, Electronic Student Worksheet based on liveworksheet is perceived to have excellent content quality, Electronic Student Worksheet appeal, learning quality, and suitability of language use in Electronic Student Worksheet.

Abstract

The research objective is to determine students' responses to the use of Student Worksheets (LKPD) in mathematics learning. The instruments used in this study are student response questionnaires and Reciprocal Teaching-based LKPD. The population for this research is students of SMA Negeri 4 Yogyakarta in class XI MIPA 2. The sample consists of 32 students. The results of this study indicate that Reciprocal Teaching-based LKPD received very good overall responses. From the scale test, think-pair-share-based LKPD received good responses, and from the high-level group (B2), Reciprocal Teaching-based LKPD received very good responses. Based on the analysis, it is known that each aspect of the student response questionnaire has an average value of > 71. This means that LKPD is practically used by students. Therefore, it can be concluded that LKPD is practically used by students in terms of suitability with the Reciprocal Teaching learning approach, with 4 items on question relevance, 4 items on interest, 6 items on material and presentation, and 3 items on language usage. Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of mathematics anxiety and interest in learning on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Sedayu. The population of this study was all students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Sedayu. The sample was carried out using a simple random sampling technique, which found two classes totaling 64 students. This type of research is quantitative research with a survey method. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and documentation. The data were analyzed using normality tests, linearity tests, and multicollinearity tests. Data analysis techniques use simple regression analysis techniques and multiple regression analysis techniques. The results of the data analysis show that there is no influence of mathematics anxiety on mathematics learning outcomes. The results of the data analysis show that there is no influence of mathematics anxiety on mathematics learning outcomes. The relationship between variables is negative, meaning that the higher the anxiety experienced by students, the lower the students' mathematics learning outcomes. The results of the analysis of learning interest show that there is an influence of learning interest on mathematics learning outcomes. The relationship between variables is positive, meaning that the higher the student's interest in learning mathematics, the higher the student's mathematics learning outcomes. There is an influence between mathematics anxiety and interest in learning on students' mathematics learning outcomes, as evidenced by a significance value of 0.033 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination is 0,106, which shows the magnitude of the effective contribution simultaneously.

Abstract

Mitigasi bencana merupakan upaya preventif untuk mengurangi dampak bencana. Kegiatan ini sangat penting untuk disosialisasikan kepada seluruh lapisan masyarakat, termasuk penyandang disabilitas. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan sosialisasi dan simulasi mitigasi bencana gempa bumi di komunitas Difabel Difasari Sedayu Bantul. Pengabdian ini diselenggarakan di SLB G-AB Helen Keller Sedayu dengan peserta 50 orang penyandang disabilitas. Narasumber dalam kegiatan ini adalah Difagana (Disabled Siaga Bencana) DIY. Difagana DIY adalah organisasi yang bertugas memberikan pengetahuan manajemen risiko bencana, proses penyelamatan, dan evakuasi dalam situasi bencana, serta pengetahuan tentang shelter, advokasi sosial, dapur umum, pendampingan sosial dan psikososial kepada penyandang disabilitas. Kegiatan sosialisasi dan simulasi kebencanaan ini telah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan kegiatan karena 80% teman-teman difabel Komunitas Difasari hadir dan dapat mengikuti kegiatan hingga selesai dengan baik. Selain itu, antusiasme mereka dalam mengikuti kegiatan sangat membantu tim pengabdi sehingga kegiatan menjadi kondusif dan lancar.
