Abstract

This study aims to design and develop learning media based on android with software in mathematical logic material that is feasible for use by students. In this research, there are two stages that are carried out, that is designing learning application with MIT AI2 and do application usability testing. In the first stage, researcher design learning media on mathematical logic material for eleventh grade classes of vocational high school with use MIT AI2. Then, in the second stages testing the use of the application to determine its quality. In this research there were 13 participants to try to run the application then proceed to fill out the application usability questionnaire. The participants is students of the eleventh grade classes of SMK Muhhamadiyah 3 Wates. For instrument used are application made with MIT AI2 and student responses to the usability questionnaire. Questionnaire used to measure whether the application model can be well received by students according to application expectations or not. The results of the study show that researcher have succeeded in making learning media based android product with MIT AI2 that are feasible to be used by students with an average students response questionnaire of 90 and in good criteria.

Abstract

This paper was written to examine how influential gadgets have on human social life, especially students. The presence of gadgets in everyday life certainly brings many impacts. The rapid development of technology, of course, is felt by the community. This research was conducted with quantitative methods in the form of distributing questionnaires to the target to be studied. Thus, with the data obtained, it will be known how much influence the gadget has on the social life of the students of the Faculty of Communication and Multimedia, Mercu Buana University, Yogyakarta.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to provide training to teachers at Dharma Amiluhur High School on how to convert Student Worksheets (LKPD) into electronic LKPD (E-LKPD) with the help of the live worksheet website. The subjects in this service were 25 teachers at Dharma Amiluhur High School. While the materials taught are the making of LKPD and the conversion of LKPD into E-LKPD. The results of the service show that there is an increase in the teacher's knowledge of making teaching materials and making electronic teaching materials using the live worksheet website. Furthermore, the results of the evaluation carried out using a questionnaire showed that overall there was an increase in the indicators of successful service implementation by 28%. This indicator includes knowledge of teaching materials, knowledge of live worksheet websites, knowledge of live worksheet features, knowledge of LKPD design, and knowledge of the stages of making LKPD and electronic LKPD. This means that the evaluation of the implementation of community service has shown good results because each indicator of success has increased and there has even been a very significant increase. The teachers at the school also really hope that there will be workshops on other topics while maintaining technology-based topics.

Abstract

The TPACK (Technological Pedagogic Content Learning) approach is an approach that contains four types of mandatory competencies for professional teachers. This is because the mastery of the interaction between pedagogy and content to implement strategies that help students understand the material needs to be mastered by professional teachers. Therefore, the purpose of this service is to provide TPACK assistance in the form of developing technology-based learning content at Pengasih 1 Public High School. The method of implementing community service is carried out online through training, workshops and mentoring. The results of the service show that teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Pengasih are able to create learning content that is integrated with technology through the help of a liveworksheet website. In addition, teachers' knowledge of the integration of pedagogic, content, and technology in learning is increasing because of this training. Therefore, this service has been able to achieve the target set by the servant, namely making teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Pengasih able to implement TPACK in learning.

Abstract

Cookies is a dense textured cake, durable, and has many enthusiasts. The easy making of cookies can be followed by all people, including people with disabilities. Therefore, the purpose of this service is an effort to improve the life skills of persons with disabilities through training for making cookies. This dedication was carried out at the Difabel Pinilih Sedayu Family Forum located in Bantul, Yogyakarta Indonesia. Training conducted every Saturday during the service team conducted a community service (KKN) using an active participation approach, activities orientation approach, program approach, and independence approach so that the objectives of service are achieved. The stages undertaken to conduct this training are preparation and implementation. At the preparation stage, the team conducted a trial to obtain the best cookie recipes that can be followed by persons with disabilities, preparation for materials, preparation of tools, and preparation for training. After everything is prepared, it is followed by training in making cookies by the devotion team. The training results show that when the implementation of all the disabled friends who were invited were present, during the manufacturing process all were actively involved, and the results of cookies were liked by disabled friends. This makes the training objective achieved, namely disabled people can have the skills to make cookies

Abstract

Twitter is one of the social media that is widely used by the public to find information. One of the news that is often highlighted on this platform is news related to sexual harassment. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence and relationship of reports of sexual harassment spread through Twitter social media on the anxiety level of female students. This research uses quantitative research methods with shortor explanatory methods. The population in this study was female students of the Communication Science Study Program, Mercu Buana University Yogyakarta class of 2021 as many as 126 female students. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire on the influence of media use and a questionnaire for meeting information needs. The data obtained were analyzed using SPSS Version 20 software. The results showed that there was no relationship or influence of sexual harassment reports spread through Twitter social media on female students' anxiety.

Abstract

Pemahaman konsep merupakan kemampuan dasar yang harus dimiliki siswa dalam mempelajari matematika. Menyesuaikan perkembangan teknologi maka pengembangan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa dapat dilakukan dengan penggunaan bahan ajar elektronik seperti E-LKPD (LKPD elektronik). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan E-LKPD berbantuan liveworksheets untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas VII SMP pada materi segiempat dan segitiga. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain pretest posttest control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIID (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas VIIA (kelas kontrol) di UPTD SMPN 1 Sungailiat. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan soal tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan E-LKPD berbantuan liveworksheets lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa daripada penggunaan LKPD sekolah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan E-LKPD berbantuan liveworksheets efektif meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep segiempat dan segitiga.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui respons peserta didik terhadap penggunaan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) dalam pembelajaran matematika. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket respons peserta didik dan LKPD berbasis think pair share. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik SMP Negeri 4 Yogyakarta di kelas VIII.C. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 32 peserta didik. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa LKPD berbasis metode kooperatif tipe think pair share mendapat respons yang sangat baik secara keseluruhan. Dari kelompok rendah (B1), LKPD berbasis think pair share mendapat respons baik dan dari kelompok tinggi (B2), LKPD berbasis think pair share mendapat respons sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diketahui bahwa masing-masing aspek dari angket respons peserta didik memiliki nilai signifikansi kurang dari 0,05, hal ini berarti adanya perbedaan signifikansi antara kedua kelompok peserta didik. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar mempengaruhi secara signifikan terhadap angket respons peserta didik dari segi aspek kualitas isi, kualitas teknik, kualitas pembelajaran, dan kesesuaian materi LKPD.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of gender differences on the making of mathematical cross-stitch art symbols and students’ learning outcomes. This study is descriptive qualitative research. The study used observation, interviews, documentation, and students’ learning outcomes tests as research instrument. This research has been conducted in the crafts subject at SMA Negeri 1 Pengasih, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta class XI. Meanwhile, the results of midterm and final exam were used for all students of class XI. This study revealed a significant difference between male and female students when completing the cross art of mathematical symbols. Female students are found to be able to complete the art within 1 month, while male students have not been able to complete the cross stitch. Furthermore, the average scores obtained during midterm and final exam between male and female students also have quite significant differences, in which female students show higher learning outcomes than male students. It is in line with the completion of the cross-stitch assignment given in the craft subject where female students have better abilities in completing the cross-stitch art. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh perbedaan gender terhadap pembuatan seni kristik symbol matematika dan hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini akan dilakukan pada mata pelajaran Prakarya di SMA Negeri 1 Pengasih, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta kelas XI. Sedangkan secara kuantitatif digunakan hasil PTS dan PAS semua siswa kelas XI. Penelitian ini menghasilkan perbedaan yang cukup signifikan antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan saat menyelesaikan seni kristik symbol matematik. Yang mana siswa perempuan mampu menyelesaikan seni tersebut dalam waktu 1 bulan, sedangkan siswa laki-laki belum mampu menyelesaikan seni kristik tersebut. Lebih lanjut, rata-rata skor yang diperoleh saat PTS dan PAS antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan juga memiliki perbedaan yang cukup signfiikan, yang mana siswa perempuan memiliki hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi daripada siswa laki-laki. Hal tersebut selaras dengan penyelesaian tugas seni kristik yang diberikan pada mata pelajaran prakarya yang mana siswa perempuan memiliki kemampuan yang lebih baik dalam menyelesaikan seni kristik tersebut.

Abstract

The existence of persons with disabilities in Indonesia from year to year based on data from the Central Statistics Agency is increasing. The government has regulated the rights of persons with disabilities in the Law on Persons with Disabilities whose aim is to eliminate inequalities so that they have equal opportunities. But in reality, not all of their rights can be obtained, including equality in getting a job. The Gumregah Pinlih Disabled Community and its members need knowledge and skills to improve their economy and welfare. This is based on the potential of each member to develop and empower the economy. One of the opportunities is with a pastry business idea. This is based on the fact that the average person with disabilities is a woman who can be empowered to make pastries and maximize the promotion of processed products through social media, especially since this activity is carried out near the holy months of Ramadan and Idul Fitri. This training was given by the UMBY PKM Team with students of the UAD Food Service Business Study Program in conducting a demonstration of making pastries. Pastry making training and promotion of processed products through social media is very useful and motivates participants to continue it as an alternative business to improve the economy and welfare of its members
