Abstract

Bali has several institutions based on cultural values, traditions and customs. Tri Hita Karana is a basic concept used by indigenous people in Bali as a guide in living life. The concept of Tri Hita Karana is also a foundation in organizations, one of which is the Village Credit Institution (LPD) in Bali. The Village Credit Institution is an institution formed by the village that functions to manage village finances with the aim of improving welfare. The success of LPD cannot be separated from the ethical role of the leaders. This article aims to provide an understanding of the philosophy of Tri Hita Karana in ethical leadership from the perspective of the philosophy of science ontology, epistemology, and axiology.

Abstract

The aim of research regarding the use of Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) in comparative analysis of exchange rates in Indonesia is to analyze differences in foreign currency exchange rates. This research uses ANOVA analysis to determine differences in exchange rates in Indonesia. The research results show that the calculated F value is less than the F table, showing that the difference between the groups is not statistically significant. In the context of foreign currency at BCA, BI, BNI, and KMK, based on the analysis results, there is no significant difference between the foreign currency exchange rates at these banks. It is hoped that future research can use other methods to measure exchange rate differences more precisely, such as Two Way ANOVA or other statistical methods.

Abstract

The rapid digital transformation in the workplace has redefined Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), particularly within professions such as auditing. This study explores Digital OCB, voluntary behaviors by auditors that enhance organizational functioning in digital contexts. Through a phenomenological approach, the study examines how digital OCB influences auditors' performance and job satisfaction. Findings indicate that digital OCB, including sharing digital resources, providing support via online tools, and maintaining a positive virtual presence, positively impacts job performance and satisfaction. However, challenges such as work-life boundary blurring and potential digital overload were noted. The study highlights that digital OCB is consistent with Social Exchange Theory, Role Theory, the Job Demands-Resources Model, Social Learning Theory, Organizational Support Theory, and the Technology Acceptance Model. Recommendations include fostering a supportive digital culture, training in digital communication, and implementing policies for work-life balance. Future research should investigate the long-term effects of digital OCB on career development and organizational performance.

Abstract

The primary aim of this qualitative study is to explore the mechanisms through which entrepreneurial leadership can be leveraged to promote sustainable growth within organizations. This study contributes to the existing literature in several novel ways: Focused Qualitative Inquiry, Contextualized Exploration, Practical Implications, and Development of variable dimensions and indicators. Given the exploratory nature of the research questions and the need to understand complex phenomena in-depth, a qualitative research design is adopted. Organizations are selected purposively based on their reputation for entrepreneurial leadership and commitment to sustainability. Qualitative data from interviews, focus groups, and document analysis are analyzed thematically to identify recurring patterns, themes, and categories related to entrepreneurial leadership and sustainability (Thematic Analysis). The findings underscore the importance of visionary leadership, strategic alignment, and stakeholder engagement in advancing sustainability goals and fostering resilience in the face of evolving challenges. By leveraging their creativity, resilience, and strategic acumen, entrepreneurial leaders can navigate complex sustainability landscapes, driving innovation, and value creation while balancing competing priorities and stakeholder interests.

Abstract

This study examines the synergies between digital and sustainable accounting, emphasizing their combined potential in driving corporate value creation. The study adopts an exploratory case study approach to investigate the interplay between digital and sustainable accounting practices and their contribution to corporate value creation. This study uses purposive sampling, with criteria such as organizations are selected based on their adoption of digital and sustainable accounting practices and participants are chosen for their expertise and roles in implementing and managing these practices. This study used thematic analysis. The findings reveal that digital accounting tools streamline financial processes, enhance data accuracy, and facilitate real-time decision-making; sustainability integration in accounting aligns corporate strategies with environmental and social goals, strengthening stakeholder trust; a synergistic effect emerges when digital technologies enhance the implementation and reporting of sustainability practices, resulting in improved financial performance, operational efficiency, and brand reputation; and despite significant benefits, challenges such as high implementation costs, resistance to change, and data standardization persist, especially for smaller organizations.

Abstract

This research uniquely focuses on cognitive barriers, emphasizing the need for taxpayer education and simplified communication of tax laws. The novelty lies in presenting taxpayer education as a strategic tool to enhance compliance, thus shifting the focus from a compliance model based on fear to one based on understanding and support. This research adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions (FGDs) to collect data from various stakeholders, including individual taxpayers, tax consultants, and tax authorities. This research concludes that improving taxpayer compliance requires addressing the knowledge barriers that exist in the tax system. Simplified tax regulations, better access to tax information, and enhanced taxpayer education can significantly reduce unintentional non-compliance. Tax authorities should invest in educational programs and provide clearer, more user-friendly tax guidelines. Future research could extend this study by incorporating quantitative measures to assess the relationship between tax knowledge and compliance rates.
