Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve learners' learning outcomes through the application of Discovery Learning models. The type of research used is Class Action Research (PTK). The subject of the study was a class IV student of SDN Talagasari 3 Karawang City. Data collection techniques use tests, observation data, and rubric activities of Teachers and Learners. Data analysis techniques are used in the form of quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The learning outcomes of 28 learners in the first cycle study of IPA subject content with KKM 67 showed that as many as 19 learners had reached KKM if it was percentage to 68%. While 11 students have not reached KKM if the percentage becomes 32%. Then the results of the Second Cycle study increased when compared to cycle I which was (93%) or as many as 26 completed learners. Based on these data, it can be concluded that learning outcomes in cycle II have reached the target of 85%. Thus thr application of the Discovery Learning learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class IV learners of SDN Talagasari 3 Karawang City.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa LKS dengan menggunakan gabungan pendekatan saintifik dan kontekstual untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematik.  Dengan metode (Research & Development) model ADDIE. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa MA kelas XI, Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa angket kemampuan komunikasi matematik untuk mengetahui respon siswa dan guru yang terdiri dari 20 butir pernyataan. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas, efektifitas dan kepraktisan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil validasi bahan ajar berupa LKS pada tahap awal sebesar 89,29%, pada tahap akhir sebesar 96,90%. Kepraktisan penggunaan bahan ajar pada uji terbatas mencapai 57,72%, keefektifan penggunaan bahan ajar pada uji terbatas mencapai 53%, kepraktisan penggunaan bahan ajar pada uji luas mencapai 72,68% keefektifan bahan ajar pada tahap uji coba luas sebesar 70%, Respon siswa menggunakan bahan ajar berupa LKS mencapai rata – rata 92,11%. Respon guru mencapai rata – rata 93%. Sedangkan pada N-Gain selisih antara rata – rata N-Gain kemampuan komunikasi matematik siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,05 hal ini menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematik siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan bahan ajar dengan gabungan pendekatan saintifik dan kontekstual lebih baik daripada siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan pembelajaran biasa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pengembangan bahan ajar dengan gabungan pendekatan saintifik dan konstektual dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematik siswa.

Abstract

By conducting this research, it aims to develop teaching materials in the form of geogebra-assisted worksheets that are practical and suitable for use as a medium for learning mathematics. The research method used was R&D with the ADDIE model which consisted of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation which were carried out at SMKS Mandala Putra 2. The sample for this study was 10 class XII students as a small-scale trial and class XI students as many as 30 people as a large-scale trial. Consisting of media experts, material experts and math teachers as validators in this study. The data collection technique is by distributing response questionnaires to students, then the results are calculated using Microsoft Excel. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the product developed received validation from media experts at 94.7%, from material experts at 74.3%, and from math teachers at 73.3%, so it is included in the very valid category. Products that have been validated are then tested on students on a small scale with a result of 78% and on a large scale with a result of 80%, so that it is included in the practical category.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine whether there is a difference between the average mathematical understanding of students who use iSpring Suite-assisted teaching materials and the average mathematical understanding of students who use iSpring Suite-assisted teaching materials. Comparative quantitative research (comparison) was used to establish this type of research. The population of this study were students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Parongpong. Data analysis was performed using a two-tailed t-test with conditions of normality and homogeneity tests. The normality test shows that 𝐻𝑜 is accepted, then the homogeneity test shows an average of 0.106 and a median of 0.729. The results showed that there was a difference in the average understanding of mathematics between students who used iSpring Suite-assisted teaching materials and those who did not. The one-tailed t test shows that the average mathematical understanding of students who use iSpring Suite assisted teaching materials is better than the average mathematical understanding of students who do not use iSpring Suite assisted teaching materials.

Abstract

The research was carried out with the aim of analyzing the mathematical communication skills of students on quadrilateral material in terms of self-directing learning. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. As many as 30 students of class VII A from SMP Pasundan 1 Cimahi were the subjects of this study. The data collection technique was in the form of a self-rating scale of self-directed learning (SRSSDL) questionnaire and a test instrument of 3 questions with indicators of written mathematical communication skills and interviews. The results showed that students with high self-directing learning had high mathematical communication skills by fulfilling all aspects of mathematical communication abilities. Students who are self-directing learning have average mathematical communication skills and are able to fulfill 2 aspects of mathematical communication skills, namely writing text and mathematical expression. Students whose self-directing learning is low have low mathematical communication skills which are only able to fulfill 1 aspect of mathematical communication ability, namely writing text and 1 indicator on the aspect of mathematical expression.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how Online Group Guidance Services With Sociodrama Techniques for Slow learner Students of class X students, how teachers and students respond to group guidance services with sociodrama techniques to slow learner students, and what obstacles are faced in implementing group guidance services with sociodrama techniques for class X slow learner studentss. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with the type of field research. Interviews, observations and documentation were the data collection tools used in this study. The subjects of the study were 6 students. This research found that 1) The implementation of group guidance services at SMK Teknikom Cikarang is already in line well and teachers can encourage students to be able to solve problems 2) slow learner factors in class X students of SMK Teknikom Cikarang, including not having a cellphone, no quota, and a long distance from school. 3) Efforts made are increasing motivation, creating an environmental atmosphere that.

Abstract

This study was inspired by the declining use of character education principles, particularly among adolescents, which has a negative impact on the standard of instruction in the post-Merdeka Belajar (freedom to learn) era. In this study, Jagat Raya 2 (2023), a short film produced by the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, which is used as an alternative educational system, is used to illustrate the significance of character values in the Merdeka Belajar era. Researchers employ a type of qualitative methodology. The methods of data research employed include documentation, analysis, and literature review methods. According to the study's findings, the short video Jagat Raya 2, which was produced by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2023, contains seven different types of character values, including honesty, responsibility, intelligence, keeping one's surroundings neat and tidy, caring, creativity, and cooperation.  In the Merdeka Belajar era, character development through short films gives students the opportunity to decide how they feel about their own decisions, while teachers can differentiate instruction and create stimuli that will encourage students to develop their human capital.

Abstract

Education serves as an essential foundation that cannot be replaced in efforts to build a sustainable society. In this era of globalization, educational challenges are becoming increasingly complex, requiring continuous innovation and adaptation to ensure optimal learning quality for all segments of society. Cianjur Regency, as an integral part of Indonesia's development, located in West Java Province, faces unique challenges in improving the quality of education. One of the districts requiring special attention is Cidaun District. Despite its significant potential, challenges in education persist, particularly in understanding and utilizing various teaching methods, insufficient use of technology, and low student engagement, which hinder the development of the education system in this area. In response to these challenges, a community engagement approach serves as a strong foundation, focusing on empowering the local community to enhance and innovate learning. Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of project-based learning through TikTok in improving student’s understanding of Indonesian procedural text. TikTok as a popular social media platform was chosen due to its potential to attract student’s interest and engagement in the learning process. The research method used is qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and questionnaires involving 30 students. The results showed that project-based learning through TikTok was well implemented, encouraging student’s active participation and collaboration. Most students gave positive perceptions towards the use of TikTok, feeling that this media made learning more interesting, helped them understand the material better, and improved creativity and collaborative skills. In addition, the use of TikTok proved effective in improving student’s understanding of procedure texts, with the majority of students reporting improvements in conceptual understanding, memory, and retention of the material. Overall, this study confirms that the integration of TikTok in learning provides a significant positive impact, making learning more interactive and relevant to student’s needs in the digital age. This conclusion demonstrates the importance of exploring and utilizing social media as a tool in education to improve learning quality and student engagement.
