Abstract

Background: COVID-19 preventive behavior plays a role in reducing infection rates and controlling the spread of the disease. In order to optimize the behavior of preventing COVID-19 in the Pacar Keling Sub-district, Tambaksari District, a health promotion program is needed by involving the active participation of the community, so that the community is able to overcome health problems with their existing potential. Objectives: This study aimed to determine the increase before and after being given knowledge and skills on how to communicate effectively when socializing the 5M health protocol, planning and evaluating in conducting socialization activities and how to carry out continuous surveillance on Wani Ngandani cadres as well as increasing knowledge related to health protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic for webinars. Methods: In each activity, 1-3 and RTL Webinar, Pre-test, and Post-test data are collected to measure the level of knowledge of participants. A paired t-test is used as the data analysis to determine the difference before and after being given training. The methods applied in measuring cadre skills are presentation and role play. Meanwhile, RTL activities are held online in the form of Community Service Webinars. The materials provided in training activities 1-3 are in the form of PPT materials and manuals. Results: Based on the results of the paired t-test, it is known that there were significant differences (sig <0.05) in the results of the pre-test and post-test on the four training activities. Conclusion: This program was effective and its implementation has succeeded in achieving the expected target and there has been a strengthening of knowledge in the community.

Abstract

Kehamilan tidak diinginkan pada remaja sering disebabkan oleh pengetahuan tentang kesehatan reproduksi dan seks yang masih kurang. Salah satu wilayah di Kabupaten Magetan yang memiliki kasus kehamilan tidak diinginkan pada remaja tertinggi di Kabupaten Magetan yaitu Kecamatan Plaosan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan persepsi masyarakat tentang kehamilan tidak diinginkan pada remaja di Kecamatan Plaosan Kabupaten Magetan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif fenomenologi. Penentuan informan menggunakan teknik Purpossive.Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara dan studi dokumen. Informan pada penelitian ini yaitu masyarakat yang berperan sebagai orang tua khususnya Ibu yang memiliki anak remaja sebanyak 10 orang. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa persepsi masyarakat terhadap kehamilan tidak diinginkan pada remaja di Kecamatan Plaosan terbagi menjadi penyebab, dampak dan cara pencegahannya. Penyebab kehamilan tidak diinginkan diantaranya pola asuh orang tua yang kurang baik, kebebasan dalam bergaul di sekolah dan masyarakat yang sudah terbiasa dengan kehamilan tidak diinginkan pada remaja. Dampak yang ditimbulkan yaitu secara fisik dan non-fisik bagi remaja dan keluarganya serta dikeluarkan dari sekolah. Sedangkan cara pencegahannya antara lain orang tua dan remaja menambah pengetahuan tentang kesehatan reproduksi, sekolah memberikan pelajaran khusus tentang kesehatan reproduksi dan sosialisasi terus-menerus tentang bahaya kehamilan tidak diinginkan pada remaja oleh BKR serta PIK-R.

Abstract

Masa remaja merupakan salah satu periode terbesar dalam siklus kehidupan manusia yang berpengaruh dalam permasalahan kesehatan reproduksi. Dukungan sosial menjadi sebuah kebutuhan bagi remaja pada fase menstruasi terutama mengenai perilaku “menstrual hygiene”. Tujuan penelitian ini Untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan dukungan sosial terhadap perilaku “menstrual hygiene” pada remaja putri usia SMP. Metode dalam penelitian ini Systematic review ini menggunakan pedoman PRISMA yang berasal dari Google Schoolar dan Pubmed. Periode jurnal yang kami susun berasal dari 6 tahun terakhir yakni 2018-2023. Kata kunci yang digunakan meliputi social support, menstrual hygiene, dukungan keluarga, dukungan teman sebaya. Artikel yang kami susun dalam systematic review ini berjumlah 6 artikel. Dukungan sosial merupakan suatu kebutuhan bagi remaja putri tingkat SMP saat berada pada fase menstruasi awal. Dukungan sosial tersebut dapat berasal dari dukungan keluarga terutama ibu, guru, tenaga kesehatan, dan teman sebaya. Semakin tinggi kualitas dukungan sosial yang diberikan maka semakin meningkat pula perilaku “menstrual hygiene” yang dilakukan para remaja putri yang berada pada fase awal menstruasi yakni tingkat SMP.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan penduduk di Indonesia yang tinggi mendorong pemerintah untuk menjalankan program pengendalian jumlah penduduk. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan yaitu program keluarga berencana, salah satu kegiatannya yaitu kontrasepsi. Di Indonesia, penggunaan kontrasepsi jangka pendek (non-MKJP) lebih besar, padahal kontrasepsi MKJP justru lebih efektif dan minim efek samping. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan alasan Pasangan Usia Subur (PUS) lebih memilih menggunakan kontrasepsi non-MKJP dibanding MKJP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka. Didapatkan 2.767 artikel berdasarkan pencarian kata kunci di Google Scholar. Diambil sembilan artikel yang sesuai untuk penelitian ini dengan tahun terbit tahun terbit pada 2012 hingga 2023. Kemudian dilakukan review pada artikel, penarikan kesimpulan, dan disusun dalam pembahasan. Hasil diketahui beberapa alasan yang menyebabkan pasangan usia subur lebih memilih menggunakan kontrasepsi non-MKJP dibanding MKJP diantaranya karena faktor kurangnya pengetahuan, biaya pemasangan yang relatif mahal, dukungan suami, jumlah anak yang telah dimiliki, dan pendapatan keluarga.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara perceived barrier (hambatan yang dirasakan) dan perceived self-efficacy (keyakinan diri) dengan penerapan protokol kesehatan Covid-19 di Pasar Tradisional Kertosono. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif analitik dan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 75 pedagang di Pasar Tradisional Kertosono, yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pedagang memiliki perceived barrier yang rendah, ditunjukkan dengan jawaban yang tidak setuju atau sangat tidak setuju pada pernyataan sulit mengkonsumsi makanan bergizi dan membersihkan diri setelah dari pasar. Hal ini menandakan bahwa pedagang cenderung lebih mudah dalam menerapkan protokol kesehatan Covid-19. Analisis statistik juga mengungkapkan adanya hubungan antara perceived barrier dengan penerapan protokol kesehatan Covid-19 oleh pedagang di pasar tradisional Kertosono. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pedagang memiliki perceived self-efficacy yang tinggi dalam menjalankan protokol kesehatan Covid-19. Persepsi keyakinan diri yang tinggi ini mendorong individu untuk melakukan perubahan perilaku kesehatan. Hasil uji statistik juga mengungkapkan adanya hubungan antara perceived self-efficacy dengan penerapan protokol kesehatan Covid-19 oleh pedagang di pasar tradisional Kertosono. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa perceived barrier dan perceived self-efficacy berperan penting dalam penerapan protokol kesehatan Covid-19 di Pasar Tradisional Kertosono. Persepsi hambatan yang rendah dan keyakinan diri yang tinggi akan mendorong pedagang untuk lebih patuh terhadap protokol kesehatan Covid-19. Hasil penelitian ini sejalan dengan penelitian sebelumnya yang menemukan hubungan antara perceived barrier dan perceived self-efficacy dengan kepatuhan terhadap protokol kesehatan.

Abstract

Background: The National Survey stated 45% of 2,777 Indonesian youths had experienced cyberbullying, including harassment via chat applications (45%), distribution of personal documentation (41%) and other harassment (14%). A preliminary study in Jember Regency stated that 21 out of 30 students had been victims of cyberbullying. Purpose: To find out the correlation between parental interaction (the role of monitoring online activity, disciplining and potential conflict) and exposure to cyberbullying (flamming, harassment, denigrations, impersonations, outing, exclusion, cyberstalking) on psychological impact (self-confidence, anxiety, hopelessness and suicidal intent) of high school youth in Sumbersari District, Jember Regency. Methods: This is a quantitative research that was conducted at 12 Senior High Schools at Sumbersari District, Jember with a total population of 5,346 students. Simple random sampling research, of 358 Lemeshow sampling students. Collecting interview data and filling out a questionnaire forJanuary 2019. Analysis of chi-square bivariate test data. Results: The significance of parental interaction was found related to conflict with the level of self-confidence and anxiety of adolescents (p 0.00; OR 2.77 and p 0.02; OR 1.71). Interestingly, it was found that harassment had an impact on the level of self-confidence (p 0.00; OR 2.29), anxiety (p 0.00; OR 1.92), hopelessness (p 0.00; ­­OR 2.91) and intention to commit suicide (p 0.02; OR 1.84). Cyberstalking had an impact on the level of self-confidence (p 0.00; OR: 3.02), anxiety (p 0.00; OR: 1.81), hopelessness (p 0.00; OR: 5.50) and intention to suicide (p 0.00; OR: 2.44). Conclusion: Parental interactions and exposure to cyberbullying have a significant effect and play an important role in the psychological impact experienced in adolescence.

Abstract

Background: Indonesia is the fourth country with the highest population in the world after China, India, and the United States. In line with large population in Indonesia, the government has implemented the Family Planning (KB) program. To strengthen that program, the government has implemented the Kampong KB program since 2016. Kampong KB Sidomulyo was determined as the best Kampong KB in 2019 by The National Population and Planning Family Board (BKKBN) of East Java, Indonesia. Objective: This study is to identify the factors influencing the success of the Kampong KB Sidomulyo, based on the indicators of Kampong KB program, which is focused on services of KB program in accordance with the module, through indicators: active KB participation, long-acting contraceptive used, unmetneed level, and the establishment of fertile age couples with low parity and postpartum. Method: This research was conducted through Focus Group Discussion twice to non and contraceptive acceptor, and in-depth interviews to 6 stakeholders in district level, who was determined purposively in 2019. The method used is qualitative with descriptive research design. Then, the results of this study are compared with the module and other studies. Result: The active participation services of midwives and cadres in intervening the community by Posyandu and active counseling is the main factor in the success of Kampong KB Sidomulyo. Community awareness also plays an important role, as evidenced by active participation in routine activities at Kampong KB Sidomulyo. This program is also supported by the government by funding from BKKBN and empowerment programs from other institutions. Conclusion: Seeing these results, active multi-collaboration between stakeholders and community is a major factor in the success of Kampong KB Sidomulyo. Community participation needs to be maintained and even increased to maintain the sustainability of Kampong KB Sidomulyo through routine activities and proactive doing of stakeholders.

Abstract

Background: Cesarean section delivery should be chosen if there are certain medical indications. However, the trend of childbirth by cesarean section shows a high increase in Indonesia. Complications of childbirth after cesarean section are higher compared to normal childbirth, this condition can endanger the health and safety of the mother and baby. Aims: to determine the determinants of cesarean section decisions in Indonesia. Method: this study is a systematic review using PRISMA, a database search via Google Scholar, PubMed, and ScienceDirect, keywords are adjusted to the topic discussed. Results: 13 articles were reviewed that were relevant to the research topic. Determinants of cesarean section decisions are medical indication including age, parity, pregnancy complications (hypertension and pre-eclampsia), history of delivery (cesarean section history), and labor complications (premature rupture of membranes and fetal distress) and by choice (own request) including residence in urban areas and employment. Conclusion: Interventions such as education, counseling, and others using appropriate communication, information, and education media, cooperation, and collaboration with academics and nongovernment organizations are needed in carrying out interventions.

Abstract

Background: Early marriage by adolescents aged less than 16 years can affect the reproductive health readiness of mothers or prospective mothers in giving birth to children with low birth weight potential and risk of stunting. Method: The method used for systematic article review was obtained from 5 databases with 15 relevant articles screened using the PRISMA method. Results: The results of the data obtained are that economic status is very influential on the incidence of stunting, this is due to poor fulfillment of toddler nutrition, lack of education of parents of toddlers, and lack of information and access to good health services. Conclusion: Educational background, economic status, cultural background and environment are the strongest factors that can encourage early marriage for adolescents with the majority living in less developed areas.

Abstract

Background: Indonesia's population is 270.20 million people. Family planning is a government effort that aims to control the rate of population growth. Millennial mothers prefer to use injectable contraceptive methods. Meanwhile, the Indonesian government prioritizes the IUD family planning program. Research Objectives: The research objective is to analyze factors related to the behavior of millennial mothers in choosing to use family planning injections in the city of Surabaya. Research Method: The research method uses a literature review with sources via Google Scholar. Research Results: Advocacy was carried out with the headman and sub-district heads as decision-makers. The target is millennial mothers aged 22–42 years in the Pacar Keling Health Center area of Surabaya City. Conclusion: Advocacy is aimed at involving commitment and support from stakeholders so that the government's goals for the IUD program are achieved.Keywords: Family planning; Millenial mothers; Advocacy
