Abstract

Business companies engaged in manufacture must be able to compete fiercely in marketing their products. The employee performance factors are important points that had to be considered by the company. Employee performance is measured by work quality, quantity, accuracy, effectiveness, independence, and commitment to work. Employee performance is closely related to work motivation and discipline, so to produce good performance requires motivation and work discipline. The type of data used in this research is quantitative data. Data mining is carried out by distributing questionnaires, field observations, and collecting documents or archives. The population in this study were 1460 employees of PT. Arara Abadi Sinarmas Forestry. The research sample was 314 respondents who were calculated using Slovin's formula. The sampling technique used is random sampling. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that, 1) work of motivation affects the performance of the employees of PT. Arara Abadi Sinarmas Forestry; 2) work discipline affects the performance of the employees of PT. Arara Abadi Sinarmas Forestry; 3) motivation and work discipline simultaneously influence the performance of employees of PT. Arara Abadi Sinarmas Forestry. Abstract

The performance of state civil servants is a fundamental pillar in the effective and efficient delivery of public services. In an effort to improve both employee performance and welfare, the Barru Regency Government implemented the Additional Employee Income (TPP) policy. This research aims to identify the implementation of the TPP policy in relation to improving employee performance at the Regional Civil Service and Human Resource Development Agency (BKPSDM) of Barru Regency. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out through a combination of in-depth interviews with agency leaders, direct observation of work activities and discipline, and documentation studies covering employee attendance and daily reports. The collected data was analyzed for validity using triangulation techniques. The results show that the determination of the TPP amount at the BKPSDM of Barru Regency is based on five integrated criteria: position, rank/class, educational background, level of discipline, and performance achievement. Field findings confirm that the level of employee discipline, measured by adherence to working hours and attendance at roll calls (apel), is in the very good category. Employee performance, evidenced by the timeliness and completeness of daily reports and the completion of main and additional tasks, also shows good results. In conclusion, the TPP policy at BKPSDM Barru has created a mechanism that directly links additional compensation with individual contributions. The high level of employee discipline and performance is the basis for the proportional justification of TPP provision, which serves as an incentive instrument to encourage work productivity.

Abstract

The goal of the research is to analyze the leadership that Jean Valjean shown in Les Miserables Movie directed by Tom Hooper. This research focuses on two aspects, the type and the impact of the leadership. The type of leadership that are found in this movie are (1) Laissez-faire leadership and (2) Servant leadership. While There are three impact of leadership that indeed to Jean Valjean as the main character in Les Miserables, they are (1) Inspiring confidence for others (2) Creating a respectful environment and (3) Increasing loyalty and trust. The Les Miserables Movie is a perfect movie for analyzing leadership, as it tells about the life of Jean Valjean who tries keeping himself in fire even though there are so many inside and outside difficulties in his life as a prisoner and after he has been released on parole. According to (Almaki et al., 2016) leadership is not just about power and authority, but it is a set of characteristics that should be owned by the leader. This movie shows many things to be a good leader who can bring a big impact to people. As a leader we must have faith, forgive the enemies and belief, there will always be a brighter tomorrow. We are all leaders in our lives. So, this movie gives us so many things that we can learn to have better life.

Abstract

Infeksi TORCH (Toxoplasma, Rubella, Cytomegalovirus, dan Herpes Simplex Virus) merupakan masalah kesehatan reproduksi yang berisiko tinggi menyebabkan abnormalitas janin, seperti kelainan kongenital, keguguran, dan keterlambatan tumbuh kembang. Rendahnya literasi kesehatan masyarakat, terutama di wilayah pesisir dengan akses pelayanan terbatas, menjadi tantangan utama dalam pencegahan. Program TORCH-Aware Community dikembangkan sebagai upaya penguatan kapasitas komunitas melalui edukasi dan pemberdayaan masyarakat agar mampu mengenali risiko, melakukan pencegahan, dan berperan aktif dalam menjaga kesehatan reproduksi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Balai Desa Karanganyar, Kecamatan Paiton, Kabupaten Probolinggo, pada bulan Juni 2025 dengan melibatkan 45 peserta yang terdiri atas perempuan usia subur, ibu rumah tangga, dan keluarga muda. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan community organizing yang melibatkan perangkat desa, kader kesehatan, dan dosen pendamping dalam perencanaan dan pelaksanaan. Edukasi dilakukan melalui ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, pemutaran video animasi, serta distribusi leaflet dan infografis. Evaluasi hasil dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-testserta observasi keterlibatan peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta lebih dari 50% dan munculnya perilaku positif seperti pemeriksaan kehamilan rutin dan dukungan keluarga terhadap kesehatan ibu hamil. Program ini efektif meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai infeksi TORCH dan berpotensi direplikasi di wilayah lain dengan karakteristik serupa. Rekomendasi ke depan adalah perlunya keberlanjutan program melalui integrasi materi TORCH ke dalam kegiatan posyandu dan pelatihan kader desa. Abstract TORCH infections (Toxoplasma, Rubella, Cytomegalovirus, and Herpes Simplex Virus) remain a major reproductive health problem that can cause serious fetal abnormalities, including congenital defects, miscarriage, and developmental delays. Low levels of health literacy, particularly in coastal communities with limited access to health services, increase these risks. The TORCH-Aware Community program was developed to strengthen community capacity through education and empowerment, enabling people to recognize risk factors, implement preventive measures, and play an active role in protecting maternal and fetal health. This program was implemented in Karanganyar Village Hall, Paiton Subdistrict, Probolinggo Regency, in May 2025, involving 45 participants consisting of women of reproductive age, housewives, and young families. Using a community organizing approach, local authorities, health cadres, and academic facilitators collaborated from the planning to the implementation stages. Educational activities included interactive lectures, group discussions, animated videos, and the distribution of leaflets and infographics. Program evaluation was carried out through pre- and post-tests as well as participant observation. The results showed a knowledge improvement of more than 50% across all aspects and behavioral changes such as routine antenatal care visits and increased family support for pregnant women. The TORCH-Aware Community effectively enhanced reproductive health literacy and promoted preventive behaviors. It is recommended that this program be sustained through the integration of TORCH education into village health activities and cadre training to ensure long-term impact.

Abstract

The land sector digital transformation represents a core aspect of Industrial Revolution 5.0 because it requires human-technology collaboration. The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) launched electronic land certificates as a strategic move to enhance public administration efficiency and service transparency and land ownership legal certainty. The new system creates multiple difficulties which affect data protection and legal frameworks and administrative safeguarding of land ownership rights. The research investigates electronic land certificate distribution through state administrative law and community legal protection frameworks. The research design combines normative juridical analysis with evaluations of applicable laws and regulations and doctrinal interpretations and judicial decisions and digital technology integration in land administration. The research findings demonstrate that electronic land certificate distribution through blockchain systems or integrated servers provides reliable and efficient operations yet faces security threats and conflicting rules and user digital competence restrictions. The legal framework requires alignment between Law No. 11 of 2008 about Electronic Information and Transactions and Law No. 5 of 1960 about Basic Agrarian Principles and BPN implementing regulations to validate rights holder protection. The Industrial Revolution 5.0 requires electronic land certificate implementation to include enhanced data protection systems and digital bureaucracy accountability measures and flexible legal oversight that protects community rights through technological advancements.

Abstract

Kopi Sejati is a micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) in Makassar engaged in the production and sale of locally roasted coffee. Its marketing activities remain limited, relying mainly on exhibitions and direct sales by the owner, with minimal utilization of digital platforms. This study aims to formulate an effective marketing strategy through the integration of SWOT analysis, Marketing Mix (4P), and the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Matrix. The research employs a descriptive qualitative and quantitative approach, with data obtained from observation, interviews, questionnaires, and sales documentation from 2023–2024.The findings indicate that the most suitable strategy for Kopi Sejati is the Strength–Opportunity (SO) strategy, with total IFAS and EFAS scores of 4.20 and 4.22, placing the business in Quadrant I (aggressive growth strategy). The BCG Matrix identifies Kopi Sejati as a Cash Cow, with a relative market share of 1.25 and an industry growth rate of 4.2%, reflecting a strong yet stable position. The Marketing Mix (4P) analysis highlights product quality and competitive pricing as strengths, while promotion and distribution require improvement. Strengthening digital marketing, forming a dedicated marketing team, and expanding distribution networks are projected to increase market reach by 30% and boost sales by at least 20% annually.

Abstract

Background: Stunting remains a major public health problem in Indonesia, particularly in eastern regions such as Bulukumba District, South Sulawesi. Inadequate dietary diversity, household food insecurity, and suboptimal feeding practices are widely recognized as key contributors to chronic undernutrition among children under five years of age. Purpose: This study aimed to analyze the association between dietary diversity, household food insecurity, feeding practices, and stunting among children aged 0–59 months in Bulukumba District. Methods: A community-based cross-sectional study was conducted with total of 228 mother–child pairs were selected through two-stage cluster sampling. Child anthropometric measurements were collected to determine stunting status based on height-for-age z-scores. Dietary diversity was assessed using the Household Dietary Diversity Score (HDDS), while household food insecurity was measured using the Household Food Insecurity Access Scale (HFIAS). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and multivariable logistic regression. Results: The mean dietary diversity score indicated moderate food diversity. Most children had received exclusive breastfeeding and complementary feeding. However, logistic regression analysis showed that child sex, age, exclusive breastfeeding, and complementary feeding practices were not significantly associated with stunting (p > 0.05). Complementary feeding exhibited the highest odds ratio (OR = 2.01) but did not reach statistical significance. The regression model demonstrated good fit, although its explanatory power was low (Nagelkerke R² = 0.023). Conclusion: Stunting in Bulukumba is likely influenced by complex and multifactorial determinants. Strengthening dietary diversity, improving household food security, and promoting optimal feeding practices through integrated nutrition and social protection interventions are essential to reduce stunting prevalence.

Abstract

This Thematic Student Community Service (KKNT) program focuses on enhancing the ecological awareness of the community in RT 23 RW 04, Pematang Gubernur Village, regarding household waste management. The lack of understanding of the long-term impact of inorganic waste is the primary urgency for conducting this educational intervention. The method applied is based on participatory empowerment, which includes field observations, dialogues with local neighborhood leaders, and the installation of educational signs containing scientific information on waste decomposition time. The results of this service show that the use of static visual media in public spaces effectively stimulates residents to be more prudent in managing waste. This initiative has successfully transformed the community's mindset in perceiving the urgency of environmental cleanliness as a collective responsibility for the sustainability of the local ecosystem.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menjelaskan pengaruh servant leadership dan motivasi kerja dengan komitmen organisasi sebagai variabel moderasi terhadap kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui instrumen penelitian yang terstruktur dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik regresi linear berganda. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan melalui uji t dan uji F. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa servant leadership berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, yang berarti semakin baik praktik kepemimpinan yang berorientasi pada pelayanan dan pemberdayaan bawahan, maka semakin meningkat pula kinerja yang dihasilkan. Motivasi kerja juga terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, sehingga dorongan internal dan semangat kerja menjadi faktor penting dalam meningkatkan produktivitas dan efektivitas pelaksanaan tugas. Selain itu, komitmen organisasi menunjukkan, pengaruh positif dan signifikan dengan kekuatan hubungan yang sangat kuat, yang mengindikasikan bahwa, tingkat keterikatan dan loyalitas pegawai terhadap organisasi berperan besar dalam mendorong pencapaian kinerja yang optimal. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel independen tersebut berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, sehingga model penelitian mampu menjelaskan variasi kinerja secara komprehensif. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa, peningkatan kinerja pegawai bukan hanya ditentukan oleh kemampuan teknis, tetapi juga oleh kualitas kepemimpinan, tingkat motivasi kerja, dan komitmen organisasi yang kuat. Oleh karena itu, penguatan praktik kepemimpinan yang melayani, peningkatan motivasi, serta komitmen organisasi menjadi strategi yang relevan dan strategis dalam upaya meningkatkan kinerja pegawai secara berkelanjutan
