Abstract

This study aims to improve students character through the implementation of Project Based Learning (PjBL) integrated with Role Playing in Pancasila Education for third-grade elementary school. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model, conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects were 28 students of grade III at SDN Tanjungrejo 2 Malang. Date were collected through observation and documentation, and analyzed using percentage techniques. The results showed a significant improvement in students character, including, discipline, tolerance, responsibility, and cooperation. In the pre-cycle stage, students character was still in the low to moderate category. After implementing the learning model in cycle I, there was an increase in all indicators into the good category. Further improvement in cycle II, particulary through the use of smaller group formations, resulted in a more significant increase, reaching the very good category in all aspects. These findings indicate that the integration of PjBL and Role Playing, supported by effective group management, can enhance student angagement and develop character holistically. Therefore, this learning model is effective in improving students character in elementary school learning.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of student participation in Grade IV Science and Social Studies (IPAS) at SDN Tanjungrejo 2 Malang. This condition was indicated by student’s passive behavior and lack of confidence during the learning process. The study aimed to improve student participation through the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by Canva-based interactive quizzes. The research employed Classroom Action Research using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting stages conducted in two cycles. The subject of this study were 28 fourth-grade students. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed a significant improvement in student participation, increasing from 50% in the first cycle to 85% in the second cycle, representing a 35% increase after the implementation of the PjBL model assisted by Canva-based interactive quizzes. The PjBL model provided meaningful learning experiences through project-based activities, while the interactive quizzes enhanced students’ interest, motivation, and confidence in expressing their ideas. Therefore, the implementation of the PjBL model assisted by Canva-based interactive quizzes proved to be effective in creating an active, interactive, and student-centered learning environment.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ learning activeness through the use of diorama media in the IPAS subject, “Cerita Kampung Halamanku” chapter, for third grade elementary school students. This study used Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model conducted in two cycles with 28 students as the subjects. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the use of diorama media was able to improve students’ learning activeness. In the pre-cycle, students’ activeness was 18,6% and categorized as very low. In cycle I, it increased to 60% and was categorized as fairly active, while in cycle II it increased to 92,2% and was categorized as very active. The improvement was seen in students’ ability to ask questions, answer questions, express opinions, and participate in learning activities. Therefore, diorama media is effective in improving students’ learning activeness in IPAS learning at elementary school.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of student activeness in mathematics learning in grade 2 of SDN Tanjungrejo 2 Malang City. This condition is seen from the behavior of students who tend to be active, but their activeness is not yet directed towards the learning process. As a result, students still have difficulty in focusing their attention during the learning activities. This study aims to improve student activeness through the PjBL model assisted by Mini Question Books. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and Mc Tanggart model. The subjects of this study were 28 grade 2 students. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of the study showed a gradual increase in student learning activeness in the aspects of asking questions, answering, participation/group discussion, and focus/concentration of student learning. In the pre-cycle stage, student activeness was still in the low category. After the application of the learning model in cycle I, there was an increase in the aspect of student activeness, and in cycle II after improvements were made in the form of forming smaller groups, student activeness increased more optimally. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the PjBL model based on Mini-Problem Books can provide students with meaningful learning experiences. This indicates that the PjBL model assisted by Mini-Problem Books can increase student learning activity in mathematics.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student engagement through the application of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model combined with group discussions in fifth-grade science lessons at SDN Tanjungrejo 2 Malang. The study employed the Kemmis and McTaggart Classroom Action Research (CAR) model, which consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection, conducted in two cycles. Twenty-seven students participated in the study. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires, documentation, and tests. The results showed that the implementation of the PjBL model significantly increased student engagement. The percentage of students categorized as active and very active increased from 48% in cycle I to 85% in cycle II, representing a 37% increase, exceeding the success indicator of 75%. This increase in engagement was evident in student involvement in discussions, their courage to express their opinions, and their group collaboration. Therefore, the PjBL model effectively increased student engagement in fifth-grade science lessons.

Abstract

Penguatan moderasi beragama perlu dimulai sejak sekolah dasar dalam masyarakat yang majemuk. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis strategi guru dalam menginternalisasikan nilai moderasi beragama melalui pembelajaran IPS, bentuk nilai yang tampak pada perilaku siswa kelas III-VI, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya di SDN 3 Mareje, Lembar, Lombok Barat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi dengan melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, orang tua, serta dokumen sekolah. Data dianalisis melalui kondensasi, penyajian, penarikan kesimpulan, dan verifikasi; keabsahan diperiksa melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik, ketekunan pengamatan, serta member check. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi guru disesuaikan dengan perkembangan siswa: cerita konkret pada kelas III, diskusi kelompok heterogen pada kelas IV, contoh kehidupan lokal Muslim-Buddha pada kelas V, dan refleksi pada kelas VI. Strategi diperkuat melalui integrasi nilai dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, keteladanan, pembiasaan anti-ejekan, kerja sama, musyawarah, dan penilaian sikap. Nilai yang paling tampak ialah tasamuh, tawassuth, i'tidal, musyawarah, dan anti-kekerasan. Al-muwathanah, al-qudwah, al-ishlah, dan penghargaan terhadap kearifan lokal juga berkembang, tetapi memerlukan pembiasaan yang lebih konsisten. Proses internalisasi didukung konteks multikultural, kebijakan sekolah, komitmen guru, pengalaman sosial siswa, dan keluarga, tetapi dihambat keterbatasan media kontekstual, perbedaan perkembangan siswa, sensitivitas isu agama, narasi dari luar sekolah, dan belum sistematisnya perangkat ajar berbasis indikator moderasi.
