Abstract

This research aims to prove the effect of classical guidance to prevent cyberbullying in class VIII students at SMP Negeri 04 Bengkulu City. This research method uses an experimental method with one group pre-test-post-test design. The population in this study was all class VIII of SMP Negeri 04 Bengkulu City, totaling ten classes. The sample for this research was class VIII.4, totaling 33 students, taken using a simple random sampling technique. The data collection technique used was a cyberbullying questionnaire with a Likert scale model. The research data analysis technique uses the t-test (paired sample test). The pre-test and post-test results decreased with an average value of 92.48 to 79.15. This means that there is a difference in the level of cyberbullying before and after being given classical guidance services. This can be seen from the results of the hypothesis tester with a t test result = 8.951 and a significant value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). This means that the influence of classical guidance services is very effective in preventing cyberbullying of class VIII.4 students at SMP Negeri 04 Bengkulu City. This research suggests that guidance and counseling teachers use classical guidance services to prevent student cyberbullying.

Abstract

This Systematic Literature Review (SLR) examines the impact of mother-led counseling on children's resilience and subjective well-being in family settings. The review was conducted using PRISMA guidelines with the Watase Uake: Research Collaboration Tools, focusing on studies published between 2020 and 2025. A total of 468 Scopus articles were initially identified, and 21 studies met the inclusion criteria for in-depth analysis. This study employs is to investigate three primary objectives: (1) the influence of mother-led counseling on children's subjective well-being and resilience development; (2) the differential effectiveness of mother-led counseling approaches based on gender; and (3) the interplay of lifestyle factors, including sleep, screen time, and physical activity, with mother-led counseling to improve children's overall well-being. Mother-led counseling, defined as counseling led by mothers to provide emotional support and coping strategies, was found to significantly enhance children's emotional resilience. The analysis highlighted gender differences, with girls benefiting more from emotional support and self-compassion strategies, while boys required additional strategies for resilience development. Additionally, lifestyle factors such as physical activity, sleep, and screen time regulation were found to interact with counseling outcomes, although the strength of evidence varied across studies. This review distinguishes mother-led counseling from broader parental interventions, emphasizing the unique role of mothers in fostering children's emotional growth. It provides a gender-sensitive framework for effective family-based counseling and offers insights for designing targeted intervention programs and policies to improve children's resilience and well-being.

Abstract

Education plays a pivotal role in the rehabilitation of juvenile offenders. This qualitative study explores the opportunities and challenges of reforming rehabilitation through formal education at the Youth Rehabilitation Center Class II A Bengkulu. The program aims to enhance academic skills, life competencies, and self-esteem among juvenile offenders. Using a purposive sampling method, the study involved 14 informants, including a head of education and community guidance, a teacher, and 12 foster children. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. Findings reveal that educational initiatives at the center significantly boost foster children's confidence, motivation, and optimism about their future. The institution's strategic location, dedicated educators, and adequate infrastructure support these efforts. However, several challenges persist, such as limited cooperation from the children’s previous schools, insufficient facilities, a lack of subject-specific resources (e.g., science), and a shortage of qualified teachers. This study provides a detailed analysis of integrating formal education into rehabilitation programs and offers recommendations for improving the quality of educational services in juvenile rehabilitation centers. These insights aim to support the development of inclusive, sustainable, and education-focused rehabilitation policies.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of group counseling services based on Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) with the self-control technique in reducing students' cyberbullying behavior. The study employed an experimental method with a two-group pre-test post-test control design. The population of the study consisted of 55 students from the XI Marketing class at SMK Negeri 1 Kota Bengkulu. A total of 10 students were selected as the sample, consisting of 5 students in the control group and 5 in the experimental group, chosen through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire with a Likert scale model and analyzed using the paired sample t-test. The results showed that the experimental group experienced a significant decrease in the average score of cyberbullying behavior from 159.6 (pre-test) to 91 (post-test). Conversely, the control group also showed a decrease, but it was less substantial, from 161.2 (pre-test) to 149.6 (post-test). The t-test analysis revealed that the decrease in the experimental group (68.6) was significantly greater than in the control group (11.6). Therefore, it can be concluded that group counseling services based on Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) with the self-control technique are effective in reducing students' cyberbullying behavior. Keywords: Cyberbullying Behavior, Group Counseling CBT, Self-Control Technique

Abstract

This study aimed to prove the effectiveness of classical guidance services using the sociodrama method in reducing intolerant behavior among students. The research was conducted using an experimental method with a two-group pre-test post-test control design. The population of this study consisted of tenth-grade students at SMK Negeri 4 Kota Bengkulu, totaling 76 students. The research sample comprised 43 students, including 26 students in the experimental class and 17 students in the control class, who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using an intolerance behavior questionnaire based on a Likert scale. The pre-test and post-test results of the experimental class showed a decrease in the average score from 169 to 103, with a gain score of 66, while the control class decreased from 129 to 122, with a gain score of 7. Hypothesis testing using a t-test yielded a t value of 21.629 with Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference in intolerant behavior between students who received classical guidance services with the sociodrama method and those who received classical guidance without the method. Therefore, the findings showed that classical guidance services with the sociodrama method were effective in reducing intolerant behavior. Keywords: classical guidance, intolerance, sociodrama method

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effectiveness of classical guidance services using simulation game techniques in reducing students' learning burnout. The research employed a quantitative experimental method with a two-group pretest-posttest control design. The subjects consisted of 50 students from SMK N 4 Kota Bengkulu, who were divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group, each consisting of 25 students selected through simple random sampling. Data were analyzed using an independent samples t-test. The results showed a t-value of 36.70 with a significance value (2-tailed) of .000 (p<0.05), indicating a significant difference in learning burnout levels between the experimental and control groups. These findings suggest that classical guidance services using simulation game techniques are effective in reducing students' learning burnout.
