Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of leadership style and competency on employee performance at Bandar Negara Husada Regional General Hospital (RSUD Bandar Negara Husada). The study was motivated by fluctuations in employee attendance, differences in competency levels, and the suboptimal implementation of leadership and coordination that may affect employee performance. A quantitative approach with an associative research design was employed. The study population consisted of 216 employees, from which 68 respondents were selected using the Slovin formula and the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS). The findings indicate that leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 5.641, a regression coefficient of 0.406, and a significance level of <0.001. Competency also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 7.651, a regression coefficient of 0.589, and a significance level of <0.001, making it the most influential variable in the model. Simultaneously, leadership style and competency have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, as indicated by an F-value of 41.749 and a significance level of <0.001. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.549 indicates that leadership style and competency jointly explain 54.9% of the variance in employee performance, while the remaining 45.1% is explained by other variables not included in this study. These findings suggest that strengthening leadership effectiveness and continuously developing employee competencies are essential strategies for improving employee performance and enhancing the quality of healthcare services at RSUD Bandar Negara Husada.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of art students in developing creativity among students at the University of Bandar Lampung. Art is all human actions that arise from feelings that are alive and beautiful in nature so that they can move the soul of human feelings. Art can be interpreted as the activity of creating forms that can be understood or perceived. Creativity is a mental process that involves the emergence of new ideas, is a person's ability to give birth to or create new things in the form of new or existing ideas or works. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation, data validity testing using triangulation techniques, data analysis techniques using inductive techniques. The role of art students in developing creativity among Bandar Lampung University students is urgently needed to encourage Bandar Lampung University students to develop the creativity and talents they have and fill their free time with useful things.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Service Quality and Communication on the performance of Starlight Organizer Bandar Lampung employees. The population of this research is Starlight Organizer Bandar Lampung employees, with a sample of 30 people in the study. The method of analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. From the results of the study it was found that Service Quality and Communication together had a positive and significant influence on consumer satisfaction at Starlight Organizer Bandar Lampung, proven and acceptable to be true. It is hoped that with this research the Bandar Lampung Starlight Organizer can maintain the stability of Service Quality and Good Communication for customers so that it can improve employee performance at the Bandar Lampung Starlight Organizer.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to discover how customer loyalty at Café FORE Bandar Lampung is impacted by product pricing and quality. The population of the study consists of Café FORE Bandar Lampung customers, and the slovin formula predicts that the sample size is 100. using multiple linear regression analysis as an analysis technique. The study's conclusions, which have been shown to be true, indicate that customer loyalty at Café FORE Bandar Lampung is favorably and significantly influenced by both product quality and pricing. It is believed that with the aid of this research, Café FORE Bandar Lampung can uphold consistent product quality and affordable prices for customers, hence increasing customer loyalty.

Abstract

This research aims to compare the methods used both variable costing and full costing as seen from the cost of production to determine the selling price at Makanaku Bandar Lampung. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research. To find out the basic price and selling price of Makanaku Bandar Lampung, interviews and documentation were carried out, which were then analyzed quantitatively. Based on the research results and data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a difference between the full costing and variable costing methods, this is because the costs charged to products are only from variable costs. So that it will affect the determination of the cost of production and cost of goods sold, so that profits will also have an effect. The advice that can be given is to determine the selling price, the company should still take into account the cost of production and the expected profit percentage, so that the selling price information can be presented fairly. Because the market price is not always high. With information on calculating a reasonable selling price, it can be used as a basis for making decisions for the company, so that it can be considered in making decisions.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to evaluate the determination of Hedonic Motivation and Shopping Lifestyle to Impulse Buying behavior among students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Bandar Lampung University who make purchases on the e-commerce platform Shopee, influenced by their Hedonic Shopping Motivation and Shopping Lifestyle. The analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression within a quantitative framework a sample of 90 respondents was chosen through purposive sampling to examine the intensity and direction of The results indicate that Hedonic Shopping Motivation has a strong and significant impact on Impulse Buying with consumers who shop for enjoyment being more likely to make impulse purchases. Furthermore, Shopping Lifestyle also significantly affects Impulse Buying, with a more dominant impact than Hedonic Shopping Motivation. The F-test confirms that both variables together have a significant effect on Impulse Buying. This research offers valuable insights for e-commerce and emphasizes the importance of financial literacy for both consumers and academic institutions to better control impulsive buying behaviors.

Abstract

Digital technological transformation has created broader opportunities for the development of digital-based literature, including through platforms such as NovelToon. The platform provides writers with opportunities to produce and distribute their works to a wider audience. However, this condition also requires writers to maintain high productivity in producing and consistently updating their works. Writer productivity can be influenced by various internal and external factors, including motivation, creativity, and the virtual environment. This study aims to examine and analyze the effects of motivation, creativity, and the virtual environment on the productivity of digital novel writers on NovelToon, both partially and simultaneously. This study employed a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The sample consisted of 40 active digital novel writers on NovelToon who were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression, t-test, and F-test. The findings demonstrate that motivation has a positive and significant effect on writer productivity. Creativity also has a positive and significant effect and represents the most dominant factor in increasing writer productivity. Furthermore, the virtual environment has a positive and significant effect on productivity. Simultaneously, motivation, creativity, and the virtual environment have a positive and significant effect on the productivity of digital novel writers on NovelToon. The simultaneous test produced an F-count of 184.454, which was higher than the F-table value of 2.87, with a significance level of 0.000. These findings indicate that writer productivity can be improved by strengthening motivation, developing creativity, and creating a supportive virtual environment. Therefore, writers should enhance their creative abilities and maintain consistency in producing works, while NovelToon managers can optimize digital features and facilities that support interaction, feedback, and the development of writers' works.

Abstract

  This study was motivated by the continuing need to improve employee performance in supporting effective, efficient, timely, transparent, and accountable land administration services. Transformational leadership and work motivation are considered important factors that can encourage employees to perform their duties and responsibilities optimally. This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The research data were collected through questionnaires distributed to employees of the Regional Office of the National Land Agency (BPN) of Lampung Province and were subsequently analyzed using regression analysis to examine both partial and simultaneous effects. The results showed that: (1) transformational leadership had a positive and significant effect on employee performance; (2) work motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance; (3) transformational leadership and work motivation simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on employee performance; and (4) transformational leadership was the variable that exerted the most dominant influence on employee performance compared with work motivation. These findings indicate that the better the implementation of transformational leadership and the higher the level of employee work motivation, the more optimal the resulting performance. Therefore, the Regional Office of the National Land Agency (BPN) of Lampung Province needs to strengthen the implementation of transformational leadership through exemplary behavior, inspiration, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration, while also enhancing work motivation through recognition and rewards, career development, education and training, and the creation of a conducive work environment. These efforts are expected to continuously improve employee performance and contribute to enhancing the quality of land administration services provided to the community.
