Abstract

Education is a fundamental aspect of students' character formation and intelligence. One of the subjects that plays an important role in shaping historical understanding and Islamic values is the subject of SKI. However, in practice, history learning often faces various obstacles, both in terms of learning methods, student involvement and material understanding. This research aims to find out the influence of Mind Mapping media in improving students' learning outcomes in Islamic cultural history subjects at MAN 2 Bogor City. The method used in this study was quantitative by using an experimental approach with the design of the Quasi Experimental Design (Experimental All) using the Pre-Test Post-Test Non-Equivalent Control Design Group consisting of a control group and an experimental group treated differently. Research results: 1) using Mind Mapping media has a significant effect in improving student learning outcomes on the material of the History of Islamic Kingdoms in Java at MAN 2 Bogor City. This is indicated by the results of the t-test with a significance result of 0.011. 2) The effectiveness of Mind Mapping media is proven by the results of the N-Gain increase obtained in the control class by the less effective category. While in the control class it is quite effective.

Abstract

Destinasi wisata yang ada di Indonesia sangatlah banyak namun permasalahannya adalah kurangnya pengelolaan dan informasi tentang tempat wisata tersebut, begitupula yang terjadi di tempat wisata Bukit Bakukung yang berada di antara perkebunan PTPN VIII Cianten dan Taman Nasional Gunung Halimun, walaupun sudah berbagai upaya yang dilakukan Masyarakat Cianten untuk mengenalkan Bukit Bakukung kepada khlayak ramai namun tetap belum bisa meramaikan pengunjung untuk datang ke Bukit Bakukung. Fluktuasi jumlah pengunjung itu berimbas terhadap pendapatan pedagang yang ada didalam tempat wisata dan pendapatan pengelola yang secara kolektif Bukit Bakukung ini di kelola oleh masyarakat Cianten. Oleh karena itu kami memberikan solusi untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan cara Pengembangan Daya Tarik Wisata Bakukung Cianten Melalui Perancangan Petunjuk Arah Berbasis Media Online. Diharapkan dengan program pengembangan ini dapat meningkatkan volume pengunjung ke tempat wisata Bukit Bakukung dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat cianten serta mengenalkan daerah Cianten yang kaya akan sumber daya alamnya kepada masyarakat luas dan menimbulkan kesadaran terhadap masyarakat akan pentingnya menjaga alam

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation process of the Ustmani Method in enhancing students' memorization at the Islamic Boarding School of Sulaimaniyah Asaefurrohim Jasinga Bogor. It identifies factors influencing both the success and challenges of memorization and evaluates the method's impact on students' memorization and comprehension. The researchers employed a descriptive qualitative approach utilizing field research methods, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that the Ustmani Method is effective in improving students' memorization through a systematic loop repetition system. Students do not memorize sequentially; rather, they follow a specific pattern that enhances memory, specifically through a backward sequence system. Key success factors for this method include consistency, discipline in murojaah, and support from teachers and the surrounding environment. However, challenges such as inconsistent student participation, time constraints, and variations in individual memory capabilities remain obstacles to its implementation. Periodic evaluations are conducted through tiered memorization assessments and examinations at designated intervals, which assist students in maintaining their memorization. The implementation of this method has resulted in the majority of students experiencing an increase in the quality and durability of their memorization, enabling them to complete memorization in a shorter timeframe compared to other methods.

Abstract

Moral education constitutes a cornerstone of holistic student development within Islamic boarding schools in Malaysia, where the cultivation of values and character is viewed as integral to academic achievement. Among the pedagogical strategies employed, ethical imitation, encouraging students to emulate the behavior and values of their teachers, emerges as a central approach. Despite its significance, the consistent implementation of this method presents a series of challenges for educators. The present study aims to examine these obstacles by focusing on both structural and personal dimensions that influence moral pedagogy. Using a qualitative design, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with teachers and direct classroom observations across several selected boarding schools. The findings reveal four prominent barriers: inconsistency in student behavior, insufficient parental engagement, the influence of broader socio-cultural dynamics, and teachers’ own difficulties in maintaining exemplary moral conduct under demanding circumstances. These challenges not only undermine the effectiveness of moral imitation but also highlight the complexity of cultivating moral integrity in contemporary educational settings. The study emphasizes the need for continuous professional development, stronger institutional frameworks, and a collaborative moral ecosystem that actively involves parents, teachers, and the wider school community. By situating these insights within the broader discourse on Islamic education, the research offers practical recommendations for enhancing character-building initiatives and advancing sustainable models of moral pedagogy in Malaysian boarding schools.

Abstract

The people of Tonjong Village, Tajurhalang District, Bogor Regency, the majority of whom are Muslim and are active in religious activities, including the routine monthly recitation of mothers, as well as teenagers and fathers who pray five times a day at the mosque. Not only parents but also children are taught to worship from a young age by their parents. Therefore, researchers are interested in knowing how mothers' persuasive communication is carried out with their children in instilling prayer behavior. The objectives of this research are: 1) To find out how persuasive communication is carried out by mothers with children in instilling prayer behavior in Tonjong Village, Tajurhalang District. 2) To find out the persuasive communication model used by mothers with their children in instilling prayer behavior. This research uses a qualitative approach by conducting observations, interviews and documentation regarding Persuasive Communication from Mothers to Children in Instilling Prayer Behavior. The results of this research show that; (1) It is concluded that the persuasive communication carried out by mothers with their children in instilling prayer behavior uses several methods, namely: advice method, habituation method, example method, taghrib method and tarhib method. (2) The model used by parents to use persuasive communication between mothers and children in instilling prayer behavior in Tonjong village is the Aristotelian model, which emphasizes three important elements, namely the speaker, message and listener.

Abstract

Communication in the world of education and learning is a very important element and has a big role for success in the process of teaching and learning activities in the classroom. The role of communication between teachers and students in pesantren, this communication must also use clear language. Character building in boarding schools through a good and consistent environment plays an important role in shaping the character of good students for the future. As for 1). To find out the communication strategy in fostering character in students of Miftahul-Huda Islamic Boarding School Bogor. 2). To find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of character building for students of Miftahul-Huda Islamic Boarding School Bogor. The research method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques used are in-depth interview techniques and documentation. The analysis technique uses data reduction analysis, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. The results of this study show first that the communication strategy in fostering the character of students can be seen from special programs (Tahsin and tahfidz, Yellow Book Studies and Foreign Languages). Second, the supporting factors are: Infrastructure facilities and education management of Miftahul-Huda Islamic Boarding School in Bogor. The inhibiting factors for the implementation of santri character development through communication strategies, namely: The background of the students, the educational background of the students and the ability of the students to understand the learning at the Miftahul-Huda Islamic Boarding School in Bogor.

Abstract

Illustration creativity has a very important role in conveying da'wah messages. The person who preaches must have an interest in illustrating so that in the future his preaching can be accepted, interesting, more effective and efficient. The aim of this research is to find out how the creativity of the illustrator on the @qomikin Instagram account influences the interest in preaching of Islamic Communication and Broadcasting students at Ibn Khaldun University, Bogor, class of 2019. Data was collected using a digital Google Form questionnaire instrument totaling 30 statements which were declared valid. based on the results of the validity test with the smallest r value of 0.300 > 0.207 (r table). Based on the results of the reliability test, it is known that the Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.945 > 0.6 is declared reliable. The results of the normality test using the Kolmogorov Smirnov test obtained a significance value of 0.200 > 0.05 so it can be said that the residual values ​​of variables X and Y are normally distributed. In the homogeneity test, results were obtained with a Sig value. 0.827 is greater than 0.05, then the variance of the population is the same or homogeneous. The results of the simple linear regression test in the Output Coefficients table above, in the Sig column. obtained a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, so it can be said that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an influence of the creativity of the illustrator on the @qomikin Instagram account on the interest in preaching of Islamic Communication and Broadcasting students at Ibn Khaldun University, Bogor, Class of 2019. So it can be concluded that The creativity of the illustrator on the Instagram account @qomikin has an influence on the interest in preaching of Islamic Communication and Broadcasting students at Ibn Khaldun University, Bogor, Class of 2019.

Abstract

This study was conducted with several objectives, namely: 1) to determine how much the level of intensity of fasting Sunnah Monday Thursday santriwati Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Huda Bantar Kambing Bogor, 2) to determine the emotional intelligence of santriwati Class XI and XII at Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Huda Bantar Kambing Bogor, 3) explain the effect of fasting sunnah Monday Thursday to emotional intelligence santriwati Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Huda Bantar Kambing Bogor. The type of research method used in this study is a quantitative approach research method. The method used is the survey method. The techniques used are observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The number of respondents used in the study were 59 santriwati. This study in data analysis techniques using linear Regression Test. The results showed that: 1) the level of keistiqomahan fasting Monday and Thursday students of Pondok pesantren Miftahul Huda Bantar Kambing Bogor have the results of the percentage of 85% which is at the level of 76% -85% interval in the good category. So it can be concluded that the level of intesnsitas fasting Monday Thursday santriwati Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Huda Bantar Kambing Bogor is classified as good, 2) the level of emotional intelligence santriwati Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Huda Bantar Kambing Bogor has an average percentage of 80% which is included in the good category. So it can be drawn a common thread that the level of emotional intelligence santriwati Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Huda Bantar Kambing Bogor is high, 3) fasting Monday and Thursday significantly affect the emotional intelligence santriwati Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Huda Bantar Kambing Bogor. The effect of fasting on Monday and Thursday is 27.8% while the remaining 72.2% is influenced by other variables/factors that were not studied. Showed that there is a significant influence between fasting Monday and Thursday (X) and emotional intelligence (Y) and both have positive (+) or unidirectional influence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the discovery learning method in the fiqh learning process in class X MAN 1 Bogor. Learning methods have an important role in fostering students' mindsets in the learning process, especially regarding the discovery learning method. The discovery learning method is a learning approach that emphasizes the active involvement of students in the process of discovering concepts and principles through their own experiences, not just receiving information passively. This study uses a qualitative method approach based on Classroom Action Research (CAR). The data collection technique used triangulation through the process of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study obtained from the application of the discovery learning method are that the discovery learning method has a very significant role in broadening students' insights into fiqh learning materials in class X, this method not only encourages students to be actively involved in the learning process, but also improves their critical and creative thinking skills. Students become more active in expressing their opinions and increasing their self-confidence in their abilities, thus creating a more active classroom atmosphere than before. So the findings in this study indicate that the discovery learning method has an important role in improving student learning outcomes at MAN 1 Bogor. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran metode discovery learning dalam proses pembelajaran fikih di kelas X MAN 1 Bogor. Metode pembelajaran memiliki peran penting untuk menumbuhkan pola pikir siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, terlebih mengenai metode discovery learning. Metode discovery learning adalah pendekatan pembelajaran yang menekankan pada keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses menemukan konsep dan prinsip melalui pengalaman sendiri, bukan hanya menerima informasi secara pasif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode kualitatif berbasis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data yang di lakukan menggunakan triangulasi melalui proses observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang di dapat dari penerapan metode discovery learning ini yaitu metode discovery learning memiliki peran yang sangat signifikan dalam memperluas wawasan siswa terhadap materi pembelajaran fikih di kelas X, metode ini tidak hanya mendorong siswa untuk aktif terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran, tetapi juga meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif mereka. Siswa menjadi lebih aktif dalam mengemukakan pendapatnya serta meningkatkan rasa percaya diri terhadap kemampuan yang mereka miliki, sehingga menciptakan suasa kelas menjadi lebih aktif dari sebelumnya. Maka penemuan dalam penelitian ini memberitahukan bahwa metode discovery learning memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di MAN 1 Bogor.

Abstract

Penelitian ini diawali oleh suatu masalah yang ditemukan di Desa jampang. Di Desa tersebut masih ada beberapa Rukun tetangga (RT) yang anti speaker,Televisi dan Radio. Bagi penulis hal tersebut menarik untuk diteliti lebih dalam, karena dijaman yang sudah modern ini tentu segala aktivitas pendidikan membutuhkan alat teknologi. Dalam penelitian ini dikatakan Konservatisme yang artinya suatu usaha untuk melestarikan apa yang ada, agar terpelihara keadaan pada suatu saat tertentu, dengan sedikit sekali perubahan dimasa yang akan datang. Mengenai pendidikan konservatif Sebagai pelestarian dan penelusuran pola-pola kemapanan sosial serta tradisi-tradisi. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan membahas konservatisme dan pola pendidikan islam di masyarakat. Metode penulis ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif case study field research, bertujuan untuk mempelajari secara intensif tentang latar belakang keadaan sekarang dan interaksi lingkungan suatu unit social, Individu, kelompok dan masyarakat. Konservatisme terhadap teknologi (radio, televisi, Sound dan speaker ) yang tidak digunakan di lingkungan masyarakat kampung salabentar seperti di masjid ataupun acara-acara lainnya justru tidak menarik minat menuntut ilmu masyarakat kampung salabentar terbukti dengan adanya kegiatan islami seperti pengajian, majelis ta’lim dan maulid jama’ah yang hadir kurang dari 20 orang.
