Abstract

The phenomenon of bullying in junior high schools has become a serious issue that threatens the moral integrity and psychosocial well-being of students as a whole. This study was conducted as a response to this urgency by referring to the social dynamics occurring at SMP Negeri 2 Balung, where bullying cases had sharply increased during the COVID-19 pandemic period in 2020, but gradually declined after the school consistently implemented learning based on tolerance values. The theoretical foundation of this study is based on the concept of multicultural education proposed by James A. Banks (1989), which emphasizes that an inclusive education system is the main foundation for creating fair and harmonious social relations. This conceptual framework was operationalized through Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning based on a culture of tolerance as the independent variable, while anti-bullying behavior was positioned as the dependent variable in this study.This study employed an associative quantitative approach using a Likert-scale questionnaire as the data collection instrument. The respondents consisted of 138 eighth-grade students selected through random sampling from a total population of 272 students. Data analysis was carried out through several stages, including validity, reliability, normality, linearity, simple linear regression, Pearson product-moment correlation, and coefficient of determination tests using SPSS software. The results of the data analysis revealed that tolerance culture-based Islamic Religious Education learning had a positive and significant influence on the development of anti-bullying behavior among students. The coefficient of determination value of 0.334 indicates that tolerance culture-based PAI learning contributed 33.4% to anti-bullying behavior variables.

Abstract

The development of information technology has changed the pattern of delivering religious messages, one of which is through da'wah content on TikTok. This phenomenon requires adolescents to be able to filter and utilize digital da'wah content to improve the quality of worship attitudes in daily life. This study aims to determine the influence of TikTok digital da'wah on the worship attitude of mosque teenagers in Gambangan Village, Maesan District, Bondowoso Regency. The method used is quantitative with a sample of 50 respondents through a total sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using a closed-ended questionnaire on the scale of Likert which has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis includes instrument testing, classical assumption tests, as well as simple linear regression for hypothesis testing through the IBM SPSS Statistics 25 program. The results of the study showed that there was a positive and significant influence between TikTok digital da'wah on the worship attitude of mosque teenagers, as evidenced by a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05). The value of the determination coefficient (R Square) of 0.365 indicates that TikTok's digital da'wah contributes 36.5% to the formation of adolescents' worship attitudes, while the remaining 63.5% is influenced by other factors outside the study. The regression equation obtained was Y = 23.392 + 0.465X, which showed that the improvement in the quality and intensity of digital da'wah content was followed by a consistent increase in adolescents' worship attitudes. The TikTok platform can be an effective da'wah medium if it is used optimally and responsibly in shaping the religious character of the younger generation.

Abstract

This study examines the role of pedagogical competence of Akidah Akhlak teachers in optimizing Islamic values of faith and `morality as the foundation of moral education of third grade students at MIMA 01 K.H Shiddiq Jember. The study departs from the premise that the successful internalization of moral religius values in students is not determined solely by the content of the subject matter, but crucially by the quality of pedagogical competence with which teachers manage the learning process. A descriptive qualitative was employed, with data collected through participatory observation, in depth interviews, and documentation. Informants were purposively selected and included the principal, the Akidah Akhlak teachers, and four students representing clasess III-A through III-D. Data analysis followed the Miles Huberman interactive model. The findings reveal that teacher’s pedagogical competence contributes significantly and systematically across five key dimensions: (1) humanistic understanding of student characteristics ; (2) systematic moral-value-based lesson planning; (3) dialogic and educative instruction using modeling (qudwah), habituation (a’adah), and counselling (mau’izhah); (4) conducive classroom management with an educational reward system; and (5) attitude and moral-value-based assessment. These contributions demonstrably cultivate three moral dimensions in students Moral Knowing, Moral Feeling, and Moral Action as evidenced in concrete behavioral changes in daily life.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using Smart TV learning media in improving students' learning comprehension in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMAN 1 Yosowilangun. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study included PAI teachers, the curriculum coordinator, the infrastructure coordinator, and students of class XII. The results show that the use of Smart TV learning media effectively improves students' learning comprehension in PAI subjects. Smart TV creates an interactive, attractive, and non-monotonous learning atmosphere that enhances student motivation, participation, and cognitive engagement. Teachers apply the MODERAT strategy (Muhasabah, Observasi, Mendalami materi, Elaborasi, dan Ruang Aktualisasi) which integrates Smart TV as the primary medium for planning, creating, and presenting student projects. The supporting factors include the availability of adequate facilities and teachers' digital competence, while the main obstacle is internet connectivity. Overall, Smart TV is a relevant and effective digital innovation for improving the quality of PAI learning in the digital era.
