Several ways to change yellow teeth become white teeth. Baking soda is one of such material which can whiten teeth. Recent research aims to find 30% and 50% baking soda solution effectiveness towards teeth discolorisation.Experimental  with pre-post group design was used as research design. Baking soda solution was made with two different concentration (30 and 50%), then teeth was measured the white level with shade guide. Samples then soaked in baking soda solution for 5, 10, and 15 days. Every 5 days the teeth was re-measured the white level until 15 days.  Research results shown baking soda solution 50% is more effective to whiten teeth than baking soda solution 30%. Further research about baking soda for whiten teeth is needed. Key words : Baking Soda, soaked, tooth discoloritation

The population in this study is a fourth grade student Ngesrep 02 Semarang with the number of students 38 children. Menggunakan deskriptif quantitative analysis with tabulation method to determine the effectiveness of palm fruit consumption and nata de cocoterhadap impairment DI.Results showed the averages index debris before consuming palm fruit was 1.13% and after consuming palm fruit was 0.43 so it has a difference of 0.7. While the averages index debris before taking nata de coco is 1,1% after consuming nata de coco is 0.6 so it has a difference of 0.5. This shows that palm fruit debris tends to be more effective in lowering the index compared with nata de coco with the difference that was not significant. Keywords :  Siwalan, Nata de coco, Debris Index

Abstract

The eating disorder was a common problem among two-year children. It causes a problem with growth, decreasing immunity, sleep disorder, less aggressiveness, impulsivity, and stunting. The acupressure therapy points of ST36 (Zusanli), CV12 (Zhongwan), SP3 (Taibai), SP6 (San Yinjio), and ST25 (Tianshu) can increase appetite. It was characterized by the rise of immunoglobulin A and weight gain on a toddler. The study aimed to determine the effect of acupressure therapy on Immunoglobulin A(IgA) and weight gain on a toddler. A quasi-experimental, pre-test, and post-test with a non-equivalent control group was applied in this study. A total of 40 samples were recruited using the consecutive sampling, and allocated into the experimental group was 20 samples as well as 20 samples in the control group. Data analyses used were Paired Sample T-Test, Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, Independent Sample T-Test, and Mann Whitney Test. Acupressure therapy has a significant impact on the toddler's body weight. However, acupressure therapy does not affect immunoglobulin A. Health care institutions can apply acupressure therapy as an alternative treatment to overcome poor nutrition or malnutrition in children under five years old. The community can use acupressure therapy as a solution to handle cases of difficulty increasing weight on toddlers since the method is easy, safe, and economical
