Abstract

This research aims to improve generic science skills by using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model. This research using the method of classroom action research (PTK) with 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, implementing actions, observing/observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were class X MIPA 3 of SMAN 3 Selong with a total of 26 people. Data was collected using a test technique to see the increase from cycle 1 to cycle 2. The results showed an increase from cycle 1 to cycle 2 with the percentage of generic science skills from 60.97% to 76.72%, including the medium to high category. The results obtained indicate that there is an increase in generic physics skills by using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model.

Abstract

Humans are an important element in discussing all kinds of aspects and problems. Because humans occupy these positions (conceptors and administrators). In the world of human education as the main actor or actor. All aspects and tasks are carried out by humans. The meaning of life is important to be reviewed in the world of education. So the purpose of writing this paper is to understand and describe human existence and the meaning of life as an alternative philosophical solution to the problems of multidimensional education. This research includes library research, namely research that focuses on the discussion of the literature in the form of books, journals, papers, and other writings related to the object of research. Understanding human existence in education by understanding the position of humans in various educational factors (humans as educators, humans as students and education managers) should be an afterthought. If you look specifically at the existence of humans as educators, a common thread can be drawn that an educator must be able to be a role model (teacher-to be nurtured and imitated) for students and able to protect the situation of the teaching and learning process in order to pour and teach science to humans called learners. On the other hand, humans as students are also required to fulfill a code of ethics in studying. The world of education, apart from being an institution that develops intellectual abilities, also strives for the formation of character qualities that can be seen from the mindset and attitude patterns, students' perceptions of their life experiences, and faith in God which in turn will also affect the meaning of students' lives. Meaning is the most basic thing that distinguishes humans from animals.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi model Problem Based Learning dengan Lesson Study untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika peserta didik kelas X. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas X MIPA 1 SMAN 3 Selong pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dengan 30 peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan perhitungan N-Gain. Hasil perhitungan menunjukan bahwa nilai N-Gain yang diperoleh sebesar 0,32 yang berarti bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dengan kategori sedang. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi model Project Based Learning melalui Lesson Study dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika peserta didik. Kata kunci: problem based learning; lesson study; kemampuan pemecahan masalah. ABSTRACTThis research is a classroom action research that aims to examine the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model with a Lesson Study to improve the physics problem-solving abilities of class X students. Data was obtained through observation and problem-solving ability tests. The data obtained were analyzed by calculating the N-Gain. The calculation results show that the N-Gain value obtained is 0.32 which means that there is an increase in problem-solving abilities in the moderate category. Thus it can be concluded that the implementation of the Project Based Learning model through Lesson Study can improve students' physics problem-solving abilities. Keywords: problem-based learning; lesson study; problem-solving abilities.

Abstract

Learning From Home (LFH) is the best solution during the COVID-19 pandemic. LFH is a challenge for teachers, especially in preparing materials, determining methods, and making appropriate learning media. For children with special needs, LFR is a new experience that is not easy to implement. The aims of this community service were: 1) to overcome problems and help the community, especially children with special needs who get obstacles in learning activities at home; 2) create interesting learning media for studying at home; and 3) evaluation. This service was carried out in May 2021 for three days with 3 children with special needs. The media created are science and mathematics media made from used goods such as making puzzles and toy phones. The results of this service were the help of online learning at home during COVID-19 pandemic for children with special needs, the existence of interesting learning media so that learning at home becomes fun, and the increased knowledge and motivation of learning for children with special needs after using learning media.

Abstract

Kegiatan Penugasan Dosen di Sekolah bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kolaborasi antara Dosen dan Guru di Sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi: observasi, perancangan, pelaksanaan dan Refleksi. Adapun produk yang dihasilkan berupa: Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, Lembar Kerja Siswa, Lembar Observasi Pembelajaran, Instrumen Penilaian, Lembar refleksi guru, dan Lembar Refleksi Dosen. Selama kegiatanberlagsung Guru dan Dosen melakukan 7 kali perencanaan, 7 kali pelaksanaan dan 7 kali Refleksi. Kegiatan Perencanaan disesuaikan dengan materi, karakteristik peserta didik dan sarana prasarana yang tersedia. Perbaikan kualitas pembelajaran dilhat dari keaktifan dan ketuntasan klasikal peserta didik selama mengikuti kegiatan belajar mengajar. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah kolaborasi guru dengan dosen di sekolah sangat bermanfaat dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research that aims to examine the implementation of the Project Based Learning Model with a lesson study to improve the physics problem solving abilities. This research was conducted in class X MIPA 4 SMAN 3 Selong in the even semester of the 2022/2023 school year with 26 learners. This research was conducted in two cycles. The result showed that the application of Project Based Learning Model with a lesson study was able to solve physics problem solving abilities of the student.

Abstract

This study aims to cluster and visualize the earthquake data on a geographical map to determine earthquakes' characteristics using the k-means algorithm. Cluster analysis using the k-means algorithm was carried out on the earthquake data. K-means algorithm is familiar and is one of the well-known techniques to have been applied in cluster analysis. One of Its advantages in cluster analysis is scaling large datasets, for example, earthquake data. The data used in this study is earthquake data in the West Nusa Tenggara from 1991 to 2021. Applying the proposed k-means algorithm, the optimal number of clusters (k) used in this clustering is 2, based on the highest silhouette score of 0.749. The cluster analysis on the geographical map showed that the epicenters of the earthquakes were pretty spread out before 2018, and the number of earthquakes in the eastern region of West Nusa Tenggara is more than in the western area. However, in 2018, the clusters were all bunched in the northern Lombok region. There were a few earthquakes in the west region in 2018, but they happened before August 5. Even after 2019, most earthquakes continue to occur, with the epicenters clustered close to the northern Lombok region

Abstract

Philosophy and science are human efforts to understand the concepts and methods of a scientific discipline. Changing times and developments have ushered in a philosophy of configuration by showing how the "tree of knowledge" thrives and branches out from the respective disciplines. This study aims to examine philosophy and science and their relevance in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. This research method uses the hermeneutic method in explaining the reality that occurs with elements of interpretation and description. The results of the research can be described that the study of the relationship between philosophy and science has developed so rapidly. Philosophy and science are indispensable in the development of science and technology which is marked by sharpening of scientific specialization, because by studying philosophy scientists are expected to be aware of its limitations so as not to get caught up in intellectual arrogance. It is impossible to fight against the discourse on the development of science and technology, but rather to reduce the negative impact of technology itself. In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0, community groups are heterogeneous, so that very complex problems arise related to technological developments and can change the mindset of human life to patterns of life that are more sophisticated with the power of technology. like robots and the internet. Thus, science which is used as an axiological milestone in directing and controlling the development of science and technology in a positive way for the benefit of humanity and its environment is philosophy and science.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmeningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiwa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian tindakankelas karena mengupayakan perbaikandalam praktik pembelajaran dan melihat pengaruhnya. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Project Base Learning. Aspek kemampuan berpikir kritis yang ditinjau adalah: 1) mengevaluasi; 2) Menganalisis argumen; 3) Mengidentifikasi Asumsi dan 4) memutuskan dan melaksanakan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus 1 sebesar 18%.Untuk mahasiswa yang nilainya di atas 65 pada siklus I sebesar 15% meningkat pada siklus 2 menjadi 58% meningkat sebesar  43%

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe scientific literacy and character education in 21st century science learning and to examine, describe the suitability of scientific literacy and character education for 21st century science lessons. Scientific literacy is the ability to understand science, communicate science, and apply science abilities to solving problems, in the process of learning scientific literacy is easily associated with science subjects. Scientific literacy and character education assist students in developing their potential and character values for competitiveness in the 21st century. In this study, the literature review method was used, namely by placing, obtaining, reading, and evaluating various related or related research literature. with the problem to be studied. The data described are the results of research on scientific literacy and character education in the 21st century, which have been carried out by previous researchers. The results of the literature review found that scientific literacy and character education can be integrated in 21st century science learning.
