Abstract

Humans are an important element in discussing all kinds of aspects and problems. Because humans occupy these positions (conceptors and administrators). In the world of human education as the main actor or actor. All aspects and tasks are carried out by humans. The meaning of life is important to be reviewed in the world of education. So the purpose of writing this paper is to understand and describe human existence and the meaning of life as an alternative philosophical solution to the problems of multidimensional education. This research includes library research, namely research that focuses on the discussion of the literature in the form of books, journals, papers, and other writings related to the object of research. Understanding human existence in education by understanding the position of humans in various educational factors (humans as educators, humans as students and education managers) should be an afterthought. If you look specifically at the existence of humans as educators, a common thread can be drawn that an educator must be able to be a role model (teacher-to be nurtured and imitated) for students and able to protect the situation of the teaching and learning process in order to pour and teach science to humans called learners. On the other hand, humans as students are also required to fulfill a code of ethics in studying. The world of education, apart from being an institution that develops intellectual abilities, also strives for the formation of character qualities that can be seen from the mindset and attitude patterns, students' perceptions of their life experiences, and faith in God which in turn will also affect the meaning of students' lives. Meaning is the most basic thing that distinguishes humans from animals.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi model Problem Based Learning dengan Lesson Study untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika peserta didik kelas X. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas X MIPA 1 SMAN 3 Selong pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dengan 30 peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan perhitungan N-Gain. Hasil perhitungan menunjukan bahwa nilai N-Gain yang diperoleh sebesar 0,32 yang berarti bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dengan kategori sedang. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi model Project Based Learning melalui Lesson Study dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika peserta didik. Kata kunci: problem based learning; lesson study; kemampuan pemecahan masalah. ABSTRACTThis research is a classroom action research that aims to examine the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model with a Lesson Study to improve the physics problem-solving abilities of class X students. This research was conducted in class X MIPA 1 SMAN 3 Selong in the even semester of the 2022/2023 school year with 30 learners. This research was conducted in 2 cycles. Data was obtained through observation and problem-solving ability tests. The data obtained were analyzed by calculating the N-Gain. The calculation results show that the N-Gain value obtained is 0.32 which means that there is an increase in problem-solving abilities in the moderate category. Thus it can be concluded that the implementation of the Project Based Learning model through Lesson Study can improve students' physics problem-solving abilities. Keywords: problem-based learning; lesson study; problem-solving abilities.

Abstract

Learning From Home (LFH) is the best solution during the COVID-19 pandemic. LFH is a challenge for teachers, especially in preparing materials, determining methods, and making appropriate learning media. For children with special needs, LFR is a new experience that is not easy to implement. The aims of this community service were: 1) to overcome problems and help the community, especially children with special needs who get obstacles in learning activities at home; 2) create interesting learning media for studying at home; and 3) evaluation. This service was carried out in May 2021 for three days with 3 children with special needs. The media created are science and mathematics media made from used goods such as making puzzles and toy phones. The results of this service were the help of online learning at home during COVID-19 pandemic for children with special needs, the existence of interesting learning media so that learning at home becomes fun, and the increased knowledge and motivation of learning for children with special needs after using learning media.

Abstract

Kegiatan Penugasan Dosen di Sekolah bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kolaborasi antara Dosen dan Guru di Sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi: observasi, perancangan, pelaksanaan dan Refleksi. Adapun produk yang dihasilkan berupa: Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, Lembar Kerja Siswa, Lembar Observasi Pembelajaran, Instrumen Penilaian, Lembar refleksi guru, dan Lembar Refleksi Dosen. Selama kegiatanberlagsung Guru dan Dosen melakukan 7 kali perencanaan, 7 kali pelaksanaan dan 7 kali Refleksi. Kegiatan Perencanaan disesuaikan dengan materi, karakteristik peserta didik dan sarana prasarana yang tersedia. Perbaikan kualitas pembelajaran dilhat dari keaktifan dan ketuntasan klasikal peserta didik selama mengikuti kegiatan belajar mengajar. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah kolaborasi guru dengan dosen di sekolah sangat bermanfaat dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research that aims to examine the implementation of the Project Based Learning Model with a lesson study to improve the physics problem solving abilities. This research was conducted in class X MIPA 4 SMAN 3 Selong in the even semester of the 2022/2023 school year with 26 learners. This research was conducted in two cycles. The result showed that the application of Project Based Learning Model with a lesson study was able to solve physics problem solving abilities of the student.

Abstract

Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSC) are photoelectrochemical, alternative energy source devices that convert light energy into electricity. In this study, DSSC with various concentrations (0.1, 0.5, and 1.0 mM) of N719 dye have been successfully prepared using simple steps. The X-ray diffraction results of the TiO2 film showed that it is polycrystalline with an anatase phase (tetragonal system) having a crystallite size of about 20 nm. The absorbance spectrum of the TiO2 film and N719 dye at various concentrations was recorded by ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectrophotometer. The bandgap energy of the TiO2 film calculated by Tauc’s formula was ~3.1 eV. The DSSC prepared using the N719 dye concentration of 1 mM achieved the highest conversion efficiency (η) of 0.298 %, respectively. Subsequently, the enhancement in efficiency was ~86 % compared with the conversion efficiency of DSSC prepared with an N719 dye concentration of 0.1 and 0.5 mM.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa pada mata kuliah fisika statistik dengan menerapkan model Problem Based Learning melalui kegiatan lesson study. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa Pendidikan fisika semester lima (V) Program Studi Pendidikan fisika Universitas Hamzanwadi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas melalui kegiatan Lesson Study yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yaitu perencanaan (Plan), pelaksanaan (Do) dan refleksi (See). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, angket, observasi, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based learning melalui kegiatan lesson study dapat meningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa pada matakuliah fisika statistik, Adapaun rata-rata prosentase kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa pada masing-masing siklus yaitu 39% siklus I dan 57% siklus II.

Abstract

This research was conducted because there was still a low level of critical thinking skills of students in learning Physics. The purpose of this study was to see the improvement of students' critical thinking skills through the application of project-based learning model. The subject of the research is class XI MIPA 2 at SMAN 3 Selong which consists of 18 students. The instruments in this study consisted of observation sheets, student worksheets, and critical thinking skills test sheets. From the results of the study it was found that the critical thinking skills of students showed an increase in each cycle with the application of the Project Based Learning model. Thus it was concluded that this Classroom Action Research was categorized as reaching the target in the second cycle.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the trend of STEM research publications in undergraduate education each year, visualize the trend of STEM research in undergraduate education, and how STEM research contributes to undergraduate science education. This study was conducted in September 2023 using bibliometric analysis. This study uses the following search terms in the title, abstract, and keywords: "STEM Learning" AND "undergraduate". The researcher only considered scientific articles published each year and did not limit the publication source. The initial data analysis resulted in 116 documents, then there were 109 documents that were relevant to the search criteria. The documents were analyzed using VOSViewer and Biblioshiny. The data was documented in (.csv) format. Next, this data was processed and analyzed using the VOSViewer and Biblioshiny applications to analyze the trend of research on STEM in undergraduate education programs.
