Abstract

The potential of these mineral resources has caused mining activities in the rebo coast waters. Tin mining activities at sea cause problems for coral reef ecosystems and other marine biota. Efforts to overcome these problems include rehabilitation of ecosystems such as coral reef transplants and the creation and sinking of Fish Shelter in Rebo Coastal Waters. This study aims to determine the number of species and abundance of reef fishes in the Fish Shelter location and in the Natural Coral Reef of the Coral Waters of Rebo Beach and to analyze the comparison of coral fish abundance in the two locations. Data collection was carried out by the Belt Transect and Visual Census methods, while the coral reef data collection was carried out by the Line Intersept Transect (LIT) method. The results showed an abundance of reef fish at Station 1 on the Natural Coral Reef (NCR) consisting of 8 families and 16 species with a total of 110 individuals/ha and 10 families and 12 species with 125 individuals/ha at the Fish Shelter site. At station 2 the abundance of reef fish in the Natural Coral Reef (NCR) consists of 7 families and 12 species with a total of 120 individuals/ha and 10 families and 15 species with a total of 134 ind/ha at the Fish Shelter site. One way ANOVA test results at Station 1 comparisons of coral fish abundance at Fish Shelter and Natural Coral Reef locations with a significance value of 0.177, then H0 is accepted.

Abstract

Satisfaction is one of the important factors that must be considered by someone in order to satisfy consumers. Service quality has five dimensions which include direct evidence (tangibles), reliability, responsiveness (responsiveness), assurance (assurance) and empathy (empathy). The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of visitor satisfaction with the transportation services of Pulau Putri, Bangka Regency. The population of this study were visitors to Pulau Putri who used the services of crossing transportation, with a total sample of 41 respondents. The data collection methods used were observation and interviews. Interview using a questionnaire (questionnaire) which is asked to visitors to Pulau Putri besides the documentation method. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed the quality of service which includes direct evidence, reliability, responsiveness, guarantee that the value of Y = 0.22+ 0.58X1 + 0.04X2 - 0.14X3 - 0.11X4 + 0.62X5 is obtained. The direct evidence variable (X1), the reliability variable (X2), and the empathy variable (X5) have a positive and significant effect on visitor satisfaction, while the responsiveness variable (X3) and the guarantee variable (X4) have a negative effect on visitor satisfaction at Pulau Putri Regency, Bangka. Abstract

Abstract

This research was conducted from December 2021 to February 2022 in Balunijuk Village, Merawang District, Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The method used primary and secondary data which was analyzed with a qualitative descriptive approach to policy and vaname shrimp culture. The results showed that designing sustainable development must follow the vision, mission, goals, policies, strategies, programs, to the implementation of activities. One of the priority policies related to food and nutrition action plans or food security was by utilizing marine resources. Food security by utilizing resources from the sea was known as the blue economy concept. Sustainable marine development policies required political effectiveness for the benefit of communities and ecosystems. The application of the blue economy concept with vaname shrimp cultivation in biofloc tarpaulin ponds technically required the measurement of standard parameters such as dissolved oxygen (DO), ammonia (NH3), nitrite (NO2), nitrate (NO3), phosphate (PO4), TDS, brightness, depth, water temperature, salinity, and water pH. Water quality data showed that it could still be tolerated, did not exceed its carrying capacity, and was still in standard water conditions for aquaculture. The implementation of vaname shrimp cultivation in biofloc tarpaulin ponds could increase economic benefits in a sustainable manner, increase healthy products with environmentally friendly technological innovations using Probio_FmUBB probiotics, provide access to small-scale artisanal fisheries, and open market access.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the conditions of the seagrass beds ecosystem, the physical and chemical conditions, that can be database in the waters of Sadai Village, South Bangka Regency. This research was conducted in July 2019. The data analyzed included: Seagrass cover, seagrass density, seagrass frequency, and Importance Value Index (IVI). The value of seagrass stands in Sadai Village waters is relatively rare. Based on the results obtained, Enhalus acoroides is a type of seagrass that has the ability to adapt well to various water conditions so that it is fairly evenly distributed in the five observation stations. The total percentage of total cover in Sadai Village waters ranges from 5.66% -27.37%. It is known that the highest INP value was also found in the Halodule uninervis seagrass species. Thus, it means that the Halodule uninervis seagrass in Sadai waters has an important meaning as a key species related to the condition of the seagrass community in Sadai Village waters. The seagrass ecosystem in Sadai Village waters is used by local residents as a place to find fish, snails and shellfish. Excessive human activity on the land above can increase the sediment load on water bodies which will result in high turbidity which has the potential to reduce light penetration. This can cause disruption to the primary productivity of the seagrass ecosystem because seagrass requires high light intensity for photosynthesis.
