Abstract

Keterlibatan orang tua menjadi factor yang krusial dalam perkembangan anak usia dini. Orang tua menjadi bagian primer pada proses perkembangan serta pertumbuhan anak. kiprah orang tua pada mendidik serta mengasuh anak, khususnya di perkembangan keterampilan berbicara anak ialah hal yang wajib diperhatikan. Keterampilan berbicara menjadi bagian dari keterampilan berbahasa, dengan berbahasa yakni keterampilan berbicara anak yang baik, maka membuat orang lain bisa memahami apa yang disampaikan. oleh sebab itu, memerlukan kiprah dari pola asuh orang tua. Kegunaan penelusuran artikel ini artinya buat meriview beberapa tulisan yang berafiliasi menggunakan pola asuh orang tua dan keterampilan berbicara anak usia dini. Penulis melakukan tinjauan penelitian kepustakaan atau Systematic Literature Review (SLR). akibat penelurusan menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berbicara anak menjadi dari pola asuh orang tua yakni : kegiatan melatih keterampilan berbicara anak tidak hanya sebagai tanggung jawab orang tua yakni ibu atau ayah saja akan tetapi dengan cara melibatkan keluarga.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya pergeseran paradigma pendidikan yang semula hanya mengutamakan pengetahuan, kini pendidikan lebih mengarah pada keterampilan yang aplikatif dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuan penelitian ini di antaranya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada anak usia dini dengan implementasi model pembelajaran Inkuiri. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reuksi data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil menunjukan dengan implementasi model pembelajaran inkuiri dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan berpikir kritis di RA Nurul Haq Kudus sudah berjalan dengan baik, pelaksanaannya sistematis dan ketrampilan berpikir kritis anak meningkat, terlihat ketika guru dalam memfasilitasi dan memotivasi anak sangat mempengaruhi kemampuan hasil belajar anak. Pembelajaran yang tidak lagi berpusat pada guru , berbagai media yang disediakan, anak diberi kebebasan memilih kegiatan, anak mengungkapkan ide atau gagasan, mampu menghasilkan produk dan mampu menceritakan hasil kegiatan yang telah dilakukan. Manfaat penelitian bagi masyarakat yaitu bahwa pembelajaran inkuiri ini sangat penting untuk anak usia dini karena akan memunculkan ide atau pemikiran yang kreatif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang inovasi sebagai proses panjang dan penuh tantangan. Sehingga darinya didapatkan pemahaman bahwa; 1) sebuah inovasi merupakan proses untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk yang dibutuhkan oleh pasar. 2) Oleh karenanya, bisa dikatakan bahwa inovasi merupakan proses yang tiada akhirnya, hal ini dikarenakan bahwa inovasi berjalan selaras dengan perkembangan peradaban manusia. 3) Dalam perkembangannya tersebut, sebuah inovasi melalui berbagia dinamika yang penuh tantangan, baik itu secara internal dan eksternal. Tantangan internal, berkaitan dengan sumber daya di dalam organisasi/ institusi, sedangkan tantangan eksternal berkaitan erat dengan meyakinkan agar sebuah inovasi bisa diterima oleh individu atau kelompok di luar organisasi/ institusi pembuat inovasi.

Abstract

Abstract. Character education for early childhood is intended to instill moral values that are useful in successful learning at the next level of education and become good habits when they are adults. Character that has been formed from an early age will affect the appreciation and practice throughout children life. In educational practice of early childhood education, however, the learning methods used are often less focused on developing character education than the development of cognitive academic abilities. As a result, early childhood education produces students who have high cognitive abilities but are not balanced with good character. This study aims to describe and test the effectiveness of Montessori method in character education in early childhood education using descriptive research method. The objects are teachers at early childhood education institutions involving 112 respondents. The results show that Montessori Method-based learning that emphasizes the importance of independence and self-improvement activities in building life skills to improve students’ intellectual abilities has proven effective in early childhood character education.

Abstract

The era of society 5.0 which is characterized by the presence of digital evolution in the form of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and robotics requires the education system to be able to adapt in order to keep up with the times, including madrasah as a formal Islamic education system. Some of the problems faced by madrasahs in the society era 5.0 include the low understanding of madrasah human resources technology, as well as services and curriculum that are not yet digitally oriented. For this reason, it is necessary to innovate in the form of digital transformation of madrasahs in facing developments in the society era 5.0. This development innovation design is a literature study with SWOT analysis. The innovation design offered is in the form of digital transformation of madrasah internally and externally, namely by digitizing services and curriculum, as well as increasing the understanding of madrasah HR technology. As for externally, digital transformation is in the form of output produced by utilizing digitalization in the form of madrasah branding in the form of digital marketing, as well as a medium for da'wah.

Abstract

Mentri Pendidikan Indonesia dalam menyiapkan generasi emas di tahun 2045 mencetuskan konsep merdeka bermain bagi PAUD, untuk menyiapkan proses pembelajaran yang bermutu salah satu faktornya yaitu gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam menerapkan merdeka bermain di PAUD TK Islam 01 Kauman dan TK Harapan Bakaran Wetan, Jenis penelitian multi kasus. Subyek penelitian yaitu kepala sekolah dan guru kelas. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah 1) masing-masing kepala sekolah menggunakan gaya kepemimpinan demokratis 2) masing-masing kepala sekolah dan guru sudah menerapkan merdeka bermain dengan sesuai, kepala sekolah memberikan motivasi pada guru, memberikan pelatihan, memberikan contoh ataupun teladan yang positif, memberi reward, tidak terlalu memberikan tekanan pada guru, memfasilitasi guru. 3) Faktor pendukung; adanya dukungan dan motivasi dari kepala sekolah dan kerjasama antara sekolah dan orang tua dalam proses pembelajaran, Faktor Penghambat; terbatasnya sarana dan prasarana, biaya, dan pengetahuan guru dalam penerapan merdeka bermain.

Abstract

The transition period between the ages of 18-25 years helps individuals in discovering identities and things to strive for their needs. Concerning this issue, the present research attempted to reveal the role of religiosity and gender within social support and Emerging Adulthood among students at the Faculty of Education and Psychology, Universitas Negeri Semarang in 2023. A total of 365 students from the Faculty of Education and Psychology in batch of 2019 – 2022 were chosen using a disproportionate stratified random sampling technique. Students’ data on emerging adulthood, social support and religiosity were obtained using the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, Inventory of the Dimensions of Emerging Adulthood (The Idea) and The Centrality of Religiosity Scale (CRS). Based on the findings, the relationship between social support and emerging adulthood was mediated by religiosity. In addition, gender failed to moderate the relationship between social support and emerging adulthood in students in the batch of 2019 - 2022, Faculty of Education and Psychology, Semarang State University.

Abstract

Correctional inmates have pressure in living their lives, so the behavior carried out by inmates in an effort to respond to this pressure is interesting. Adaptive coping behavior encourages the formation of one's positive attitude towards problems. This research attempted to obtain an overview of adaptive coping behavior in prisoners by employing a phenomenological qualitative design as the research approach applied through observation and semi-structured interviews with 7 respondents selected using purposive sampling. The result indicated, the respondents experienced problems such as lack of emotional control, disapproval of punishment, feeling guilty about family, lack of enthusiasm for life, feelings of resentment towards the company, feelings guilty about childhood and lack of ability to interact socially. The respondents exhibited coping behavior, such as accepting and surrendering (emotion-focused coping), planning a structured life (problem-focused coping), getting visits from family (social support), getting attention from their life partner (dyadic coping), performing reappraisal (positive reappraisal), having a strong character (character strength) and having the desire to memorize the Qur'an (religious coping). From these findings, it is known coping behavior affects an individual's personality. In this way, individuals will be able to adapt well to their environment. Exploring and applying coping behavior is highly recommended after this research.

Abstract

Purpose – This article reports on a project to facilitate teachers’ digital skill improvement. The context of the project itself was the past COVID-19 pandemic, which paralized the education sector, including the closure of early childhood education (ECE) centers. While remote, online learning was highly recommended to face disastrous situation such as pandemic, in practice, especially at the ECE level, online learning faces complex challenges. On the other hand, teachers were not adequately prepared for online and digital learning. Design/methods/approach – This study combined developmental and conventional descriptive methods. The participants (15 people) were teachers, with various backgrounds of work experience (2 to over 7 years), with good internet access skills. Data and information were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation; followed by descriptive analysis. Findings – These teachers found that Podcasts could be an alternative and a variation of digital learning media. Making and using podcasts can also be an entry point in strengthening the integration of Technological and Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) in the ECE context. Research implications/limitations – While storytelling Podcast as ECE learning tool was used limitedly during the COVID-19 period, its uses may last beyond the pandemic time provided systematic integration of digital technology and skills associated with it into ECE sector is met.  Practical implications – This study implies that storytelling podcasts can be an alternative learning tool in the situation where teacher-student face-to-face interaction is less possible. Originality/value – The emergency period prevented teacher-student direct contacts. This study contributes to providing an alternative to learning in an emergency situation. Paper type Research paper

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of inquiry-based learning models, grounded in teachers' teaching experiences, to enhance critical thinking skills in early childhood at RA Nurul Haq and TKIT Umar Bin Khatab Kudus. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study model, the research investigates the processes and outcomes of inquiry-based learning. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and document reviews, focusing on children aged 4-6. Results indicate that the inquiry-based learning model significantly enhances children's critical thinking skills when applied by certified and experienced teachers. This model promotes balanced cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development through systematic exploration and problem-solving activities. However, challenges persist for non-certified teachers due to limited training. The study's implications are substantial for early childhood education, as implementing an inquiry-based learning model can improve critical thinking skills essential for children's academic and personal growth. It prepares them to face 21st-century challenges such as critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration. Limitations include the study's focus on a specific demographic and the disparity in training and certification levels among teachers, highlighting the need for comprehensive professional development programs. Future research should expand the scope to include a broader range of educational settings, investigate the long-term effects of inquiry-based learning on critical thinking skills, and explore integrating inquiry-based models with other teaching strategies to maximize their effectiveness. In conclusion, this study underscores the positive impact of an inquiry-based learning model, grounded in teachers' teaching experiences, on enhancing critical thinking skills in early childhood education.
