ASWAJA (Ahlusunnah Wal Jama'ah) is a belief of the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) with the characteristic of prioritizing three main teachings of Islam, namely understanding fiqh, aqidah, and tasawuf. In the context of education, ASWAJA is a program to improve religious character in students. The ASWAJA program is one of the interesting programs to be implemented in elementary school students so that students become a generation that is Qur'anic and has good morals. The aim of the research is to describe the ASWAJA program in improving the religious character of elementary school students comprehensively. This research was conducted at SD Islam Al Huda, Kediri City as one of the schools implementing the ASWAJA program. The research method used is a qualitative study with a case study design. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it is known that the ASWAJA program is very relevant in instilling religious character values in students. This can be shown through activities in the ASWAJA program which are based on the principles of tasamuh (tolerance), i'tidal (perpendicular), and tawazun (maintaining balance). These three principles have a concretization of very implementative religious activities that are routinely carried out in daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly activities. So it can be concluded that the ASWAJA program is very suitable to be implemented in elementary schools in building students' religious character.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the application of the Pasti Aksi Hanifida learning model in improving literacy and digital literacy of students in Al-Qur'an Hadith subjects at MI Islamiyah Banjarpoh. The background of this study is based on learning conditions that tend to still use conventional methods such as lectures, which are less effective in stimulating students' interest and active participation. The Pasti Aksi Hanifida learning model is an innovation that integrates students' physical, emotional, and creative potential through an active and collaborative approach. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation, which were analyzed using domain, taxonomy, and component approaches. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Hanifida's Pasti Aksi model is capable of creating a more lively, enjoyable, and meaningful learning atmosphere. Students showed significant improvements in their reading comprehension skills, summarizing through mind mapping and concept maps, and presenting their learning outcomes through digital media such as PowerPoint and Canva. Teachers act as facilitators who guide students in the process of knowledge construction and the strengthening of 21st-century skills. Challenges in implementing this model, such as limitations in digital devices and teacher readiness, can be addressed through training and internal collaboration. Overall, the Hanifida Pasti Aksi model has proven effective in supporting innovative and transformative learning, particularly in the context of Islamic education in the digital age.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to design, implement, and evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of the textbook Hid?yatul Q?ri’ f? Qir?ati ar-Rasmil Utsm?ni lil Mubtadi’, based on the Ummi Method, in enhancing elementary madrasah students’ understanding of the Qur’anic writing structure and recitation system by authentic sanad and rasm. The research contributes to the discourse of foundational Qur’anic education, particularly in the introduction of the Uthm?nic script (rasm ‘Utsm?n?) and dhabt rules as employed in the Madinah Mushaf. The lack of structured learning media that integrates contextual learning approaches with the authentic characteristics of the Mushaf motivated the development of this textbook. This study adopts a research and development (R&D) methodology using the ADDIE model—Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate—systematically applied at MIN 1 Jombang. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews, expert validation surveys, and product trials involving 15 fifth-grade students who had previously studied ghor?b and tajw?d using the Ummi Method. The validation results showed an average feasibility score of 86.21%, and field testing indicated significant improvement in the accuracy of recitation and recognition of dhabt symbols. The study’s main contribution lies in pioneering authoritative instructional media on rasm and dhabt for early-level education by combining the strength of qir?’ah transmission (sanad) with a pedagogical design that is visual, repetitive, and auditory. This textbook extends the scope of the Ummi Method toward standardized advanced tajw?d learning. The findings demonstrate that integrating classical methodologies with Mushaf Madinah-based instructional design can establish a strong foundation of recitational accuracy from an early age, making it relevant for adoption by other Qur’anic educational institutions nationally.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the forms of collaboration between schools and parents in implementing character education for pupils in Years 1 to 3 at the primary education level, also known as the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using phenomenological methods, enabling an in-depth exploration of the subjective experiences of educational stakeholders. Data were collected through triangulated in-depth interviews, limited participatory observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that collaboration in character education between madrasahs and parents is dynamic, integrative, and multidimensional, consisting of five key forms: 1) consistent two-way communication serving as an ecological bridge between home and school; 2) participatory parental involvement in school activities as contextual arenas for value socialisation; 3) character value synchronisation through co-developed guidance, establishing a microsystemic moral contract between teachers and parents; 4) integration of local wisdom values such as ojo dumeh, unggah-ungguh, and gotong royong, reinforcing pupils' cultural identity; and 5) character reinforcement through family-based support involving moral rituals, daily habits, and reflective practices at home. The study is limited by its localised context, relatively few participants, and the absence of prolonged observation of home–school interaction. Its original contribution lies in integrating Bronfenbrenner's ecological theory with culturally grounded character education practices and recommending digital and community-based collaborative strategies suitable for primary education settings in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the SKUA program based on persuasive strategy to realize a religious culture at MI Darussalam Badang Jombang. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, because the purpose of the study was to find data that was natural setting where the conditions studied were in accordance with the conditions in the field. The findings in this study in the implementation of the SKUA program based on persuasive strategy include the habituation of applying the materials contained in the SKUA program provided by educators and students not only apply them at school but also in everyday life. In addition, good role models in behavior and attitude are also shown by educators so that students imitate and apply them.  Future research can focus on analyzing the long-term effectiveness of the SKUA program based on persuasive strategy in shaping students' religious culture, both within the school environment and in their daily lives. A longitudinal approach can be employed to observe changes in students' attitudes and behaviors over a certain period, allowing for an assessment of the extent to which religious values are internalized sustainably. Furthermore, the study can expand its scope by comparing the implementation of the SKUA program across multiple educational institutions to identify factors influencing its success. This comparative study approach will provide broader insights into the effectiveness of persuasive strategy methods in fostering religious culture in various educational contexts.
