Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan pemanfaatan media layanan  Bimbingan dan Konseling  berbasis teknologin  informasi  yang dilakukan guru BK  baik pada masa pandemi dan pasca pandemi. Jumlah partisipan 14 orang dengan mengisi google form. Metode penelitian yang dilakukjan survey tentang layanan yang dilakukan dan media yang digunakan saat   pandemic dan pasca pandemi. Hasil survey didapatkan saat pandemi guru BK sudah menggunakn media layanan berbasis teknologi dengan selalu menggunakan media audio visual dalam layanan dan berkembang semakin baik pasca pandemiKata Kunci: media layanan BK, pandemi

Abstract

The problem of this research is the students’ low comprehension in reading descriptive text in term of generic structure, purpose, language features and vocabulary. This research aimed to enhance student understanding by using a constructivist approach in reading descriptive text. The design of this research was a classroom action research (CAR). The samples of this research were 40 students. Based on the result of the test, it was found that students’ average score was 77. The resulting score improved from the based score that was 69.5. Furthermore from the result of observation, field note and interview, it was found the factors influencing the improvement of students’ comprehension in reading descriptive text by using a constructivist approach, they were teacher’s strategy and teacher’s media. Finally, the researcher concludes that this constructivist approach can improve the students’ reading comprehension.

Abstract

Culture is something that represents a country’s existence. Every country has a different culture because it has its way of life, habit, and custom. This research was aimed to find out the culture shock experienced by foreigners at Rumbai, Pekanbaru. This research was categorised as survey research designed. This research was descriptive qualitative. This research used purposive sampling to get the sample. Three foreigners responded in this research. The data of the study were taken by using observation, interview and field note. The researcher found that there were four stages of culture shock experienced by foreigners and six factors affecting culture shock experienced by foreigners. The first stage of culture shock was euphoria/honeymoon phase because of hospitality, scenery and custom of the host country. The second was the crisis stage, this crisis phase because of cross-culture differences in how people communicate. The third was recovery phases, where they began to accept, to resolve and to adjust their cultural differences. Finally, was the adjustment phase where they were enjoyed and accepted the cultural differences in the new environment. There were six factors affecting culture shock, and they were culture shock on weather, culture shock on food, culture shock on language, culture shock on social life, culture shock on etiquette and culture shock on the dress.

Abstract

Self-compassion is one of the adaptive self-attitudes that can be used by adolescents who experience personal dissonance or facing difficult situations and implemented as a normal experience of adolescents who drugs abuse. However, studies on standardized instruments and self-compassion profiles of drug abusers in Indonesia are still limited. Therefore, an intensive study of standardized instruments is needed to measure the compassion of adolescent drug abusers. This study uses an adaptation of a instrument procedures. As many of 38 as teenage drug users of six Social Rehabilitation Foundations in Indonesia. Data is measured using Self-Compassion Scale-Short Form. Operationally, the data analysis used Rash Model 3.75. The results showed that SCS-SF has satisfactory psychometric properties. Further studies are required to examine the psychometric properties of the SCS-SF of various participant socio-demographic factors.

Abstract

The research aims to explore the factors structure of the virtual learning environment based on the perspective of Indonesian college students. The study used a descriptive method of survey type. The sample amounted to 511 college students from one of the state universities in Indonesia who were selected using incidental sampling techniques. The data were collected using an Indonesian version of the Technology-Rich Outcomes-Focused Learning Environment Inventory (TROFLEI) with excellence of psychometric properties. The data were analysed using descriptive statistics and confirmatory factor analysis assisted by SPSS v. 26 for Windows. The findings show that there are 10 dimensions of the virtual learning environment based on the perspective of Indonesian college students, namely: computer usage, student involvement, young adult ethos, task orientation, investigation, lecturer support, cooperation, equity, cohesivity, and differentiation. Further studies are needed to examine the factors structure of the virtual learning environment using confirmatory factor analysis with LISREL and examine their antecedents and consequences to academic performance and achievement in a wider range of college students taking into account their ethno-socio-demographic proportions in Indonesia.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertujuan untuk memfasilitasi peserta didik memahami gambaran kecemasan akademiknya. Pengabdian masyarakat menggunakan scientist-practitioner model dengan melibatkan 32 orang peserta didik dan 1 guru bimbingan dan konseling/konselor dari satu sekolah menengah pertama di Jakarta. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan Multimodal State and Trait Evaluation Anxiety (MSTEA-12) Scale dan dianalisis menggunakan rata-rata dan simpangan baku. Secara operasional, analisis data menggunakan Rash Model 3.75.0 dan SPSS v. 25.0. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dan pendampingan asesmen kecemasan akademik dapat memfasilitasi peserta didik memahami profil kecemasan akademik dirinya. Kecemasan akademik peserta didik SMP cenderung berada pada kategori sedang, baik secara keseluruhan, dimensi kekhawatiran kognitif dan emosional, maupun faktor tes/tugas, menulis, berbicara di depan umum, dan kerja kelompok. Hasil ini dapat dijadikan baseline pengembangan program bimbingan dan konseling belajar untuk mengembangkan strategi koping dan menurunkan kecemasan akademik peserta didik SMP.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam penyelenggaraan program bimbingan dan konseling di Sekolah Menegah Kejuruan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu dengan menggunakan kajian pustaka. Kajian pustaka adalah kegiatan yang meliputi mencari, membaca, dan menelaah laporan-laporan penelitian dan bahan pustaka yang memuat teori-teori yang relevan dengan penelitian yang akan dilakukan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor pendukung dalam penyelenggaraan program layanan bimbingan dan konseling yaitu dukungan kepala sekolah, kompetensi konselor, sertifikat dan akreditas serta kredensial. Sedangkan indikator dari faktor penghambat antara lain, (1) Dasar penyusunan program dan isi program, (2) Sarana dan prasarana, (3) Kemampuan petugas (latar belakang pendidikan), (4) Petugas bimbingan dan konseling mempunyai peranan sesuai dengan sifat dan kemampuan fungsional disekolah (guru mata pelajaran, staf administrasi, wali kelas, kepala sekolah).

Abstract

Asesmen kebutuhan siswa adalah dasar perencanaan program bimbingan konseling. Rencana Pelaksanaan Layanan Bimbingan Konseling (RPLBK), bertujuan menjadi panduan bagi guru BK dalam memberikan layanan kepada siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian empiris dengan wawancara terhadap 6 guru BK dan 2 kepala sekolah di SMA Marsudirini Jakarta Timur dan SMA Bhaktyarsa – Maumere. Kenyataan dilapangan menunjukkan, RPLBK tidak dibuat berdasarkan asesmen kebutuhan siswa, RPLBK yang sebagai pelengkap administrasi BK untuk penilaian dinas terkait. Ketidakmampuan guru BK membuat RPLBK berdasarkan asesmen menjadi kendala sehingga topik pemberian layanan bimbingan hanya berdasarkan masalah apa yang dihadapi siswa saat bertemu guru BK. Keterbatasan tenaga guru BK menjadi kendala dalam pelaksanaan layanan BK di SMA. Sebagai saran, perlu dilakukan supervisi  untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru BK khususnya kinerja menyusun RPLBK berdasarkan asesmen kebutuhan siswa.

Abstract

The Perceived Wellness Survey (PWS) is a multidimensional measure of perceived wellness perception in the psychological, emotional, social, physical, spiritual, and intellectual. This study aims to adapt and validate The Perceived Wellness Survey (PWS) instrument. The research sample used 123 high school students in Indonesia who were selected by convenience sampling technique. Operationally, data were analyzed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) with LISREL version 8.80. The results showed that all indicators of goodness of fit (GOF) were not fit, where obtained were chi-square (1212.70), GFI (0.59), AGFI (0.53), RMSEA (0.11), and RMR (0.31).

Abstract

In the era of revolution industry, it is believed that the integration of technology in the language learning activity widely increase. The purpose of the research was to investigate the implementation of multimedia as technology integrated in the Translation course learning activity. A quantitative approach is employed in this study with 47 students from English Education Department of Univesitas Lancang Kuning selected by using total sampling technique. This research was descriptive quantitative using survey design. The data collected by using a Likert Scale questionnaire with three indicators of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) namely perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and attitude toward using. After that, the data was analysed by using descriptive statistic. Overall, it was found that the statistical data of multimedia implementation in the Translation course is about 3.99. It is claimed into “moderate” category. It indicates that the multimedia implementation in the Translation course helps the students to be more confident during the class. It also makes students enjoy the learning process. Multimedia also made the learning process become effective and efficient
