Tawakkal is understood as a manifestation of faith that integrates sincere effort and total submission to Allah SWT, encouraging maximal endeavor as well as a peaceful and just response rooted in trust in God. This study examines the concept of tawakkal in QS. Al‑Anfāl [8]:61 as a spiritual foundation for strengthening student character and fostering social harmony in contemporary education. The research employs a library research approach using primary sources from the Qur’an and authoritative tafsirs alongside relevant academic literature; data are analyzed descriptively through thematic interpretation (tafsīr maudhu‘ī). The findings indicate that integrating the value of tawakkal in education can enhance students’ emotional resilience, sense of responsibility, and growth mindset, and support a harmonious learning environment. This value aligns with educational directions that emphasize compassion, tolerance, and appreciation of diversity as essential aspects of character education. The study concludes that ideal education is not merely the transfer of knowledge but the transformation of moral and social values, producing generations who are both intellectually capable and morally mature, and able to contribute to peace and harmony in pluralistic societies. ABSTRAK Tawakkal dipahami sebagai manifestasi iman yang mengintegrasikan usaha nyata dan penyerahan diri kepada Allah SWT, mendorong upaya maksimal serta respon damai yang adil dan percaya kepada Allah. Penelitian ini mengkaji konsep tawakkal dalam QS. Al‑Anfāl [8]:61 sebagai landasan spiritual dalam penguatan karakter peserta didik dan penciptaan harmoni sosial dalam pendidikan kontemporer. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan sumber primer Al‑Qur’an dan tafsir otoritatif serta literatur akademik; data dianalisis secara deskriptif‑analitis melalui tafsīr maudhu‘ī. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai tawakkal dalam pendidikan dapat memperkuat ketahanan emosional, tanggung jawab, dan growth mindset peserta didik serta mendukung lingkungan belajar yang harmonis. Nilai tawakkal ini konsisten dengan arah pembelajaran yang menanamkan nilai kasih sayang, toleransi, dan penghargaan terhadap perbedaan sebagai bagian dari pendidikan karakter terhadap peseerta didik . Penelitian menegaskan bahwa pendidikan ideal bukan hanya transfer ilmu, tetapi transformasi nilai moral dan sosial yang menghasilkan generasi unggul secara intelektual dan matang secara moral, serta mampu berkontribusi pada perdamaian dan keharmonisan masyarakat yang majemuk.

This article presents a comprehensive socio-historical analysis of the Arabian Peninsula before the advent of Islam and the revelation of the Qur'an in the 630s CE. Based on a synthesis of archaeological evidence, ancient external records, and early Islamic historical texts, this research aims to delineate the complex and diverse social, economic, political, and religious landscape of the Arabian Peninsula. In contrast to simplified narratives that often portray this period as a monolithic "Age of Ignorance," this analysis highlights sophisticated tribal structures, dynamic economic activities including long-distance trade and established financial practices, political fragmentation marked by inter-tribal conflicts, and a broad spectrum of religious beliefs ranging from polytheism to evolving monotheism. By shedding light on regional variations in key centers such as Mecca, Medina (Yathrib), Hijaz, and Yemen, this report demonstrates how these multifaceted conditions collectively set the stage for the profound transformation brought about by Islam. Physical education plays a crucial role in shaping human beings holistically, yet in formal educational practice it is often narrowly understood as merely physical activity without the integration of Islamic values. This study aims to examine the concept of physical education from the perspective of the Qur'an, its relationship to physical health and the quality of worship, and its contribution to shaping healthy, strong, and noble individuals. This study uses a qualitative approach of the literature study type with the tafsir mawḍū‘ī method. Data were analyzed from Qur'anic verses, classical and contemporary tafsir literature, hadith, and the views of scholars. The research findings show that the Qur'an views the physical (jasad) and spiritual (rūḥ) dimensions as an inseparable whole. The term "quwwah" is redefined to encompass not only muscular strength but also the aspects of capability (qudrah), moral integrity (wara‘), consistency (wuṣūl), and submission (tawakkul). The Qur'anic narrative about the Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) and Thalut emphasizes that the ideal human quality is a combination of physical strength (al-qawiyy) and moral integrity (al-amīn). Quranic-based physical education plays a vital role in shaping individuals capable of optimally fulfilling the role of khalīfah through maintaining health in line with the principles of maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah, particularly hifẓ al-nafs (protecting the soul) for the perfection of worship. Thus, physical education is an integral component in realizing the ideals of insān kāmil.

Radikalisme di kalangan pemuda mengancam persatuan bangsa Indonesia akibat faktor politik, sosial-ekonomi, dan paparan digital ekstrem. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis fenomena radikalisme pemuda, menggali karakter ideal Islam dari Al-Qur’an dan Hadis, serta menelaah moderasi beragama sebagai strategi deradikalisasi. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif-analitis melalui library research, populasi mencakup literatur primer (Al-Qur’an, Hadis) dan sekunder (tafsir, jurnal, laporan BNPT), dengan sampel purposive seperti QS. Al-Kahfi:13-14 dan QS. Al-Baqarah:143. Instrumen utama adalah dokumen literatur, dianalisis melalui close reading, kategorisasi tematik, dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil menunjukkan karakter pemuda ideal berbasis wasathiyyah mendorong sikap toleran anti-ekstremisme, dengan ikhtiar dakwah digital dan komunitas moderat. Penelitian menyimpulkan moderasi beragama efektif memperkuat ketahanan Pancasila, direkomendasikan integrasi kurikulum pendidikan dan kolaborasi BNPT

This article examines the distinction between revelation (waḥy), divine speech (kalām ilāhī), and risālah in the perspective of Manna al-Qattan, highlighting the problem of fragmented readings in Qur’anic studies. The separation of these three concepts often produces epistemological bias, leading to the reduction of the Qur’an’s authority. This study aims to reconstruct the structural relationship between revelation as a communicative mechanism, divine speech as the substance of truth, and risālah as its social manifestation within an integrated framework. This research employs a library-based method with a descriptive-analytical approach, drawing on classical and contemporary sources, with particular focus on Mabāḥith fī ‘Ulūm al-Qur’ān. The findings reveal that al-Qattan bridges revelation and divine speech through the concept of tanzīl, understood as the process by which transcendent divine speech becomes communicative revelation. The study argues that revelation, divine speech, and risālah form an inseparable system that cannot be adequately understood in isolation. Accordingly, the Qur’an is positioned as the concrete manifestation of divine speech with supreme authority. The contribution of this research lies in reconstructing an integrative conceptual framework within Qur’anic studies while challenging the prevailing fragmentary approaches that obscure the fundamental relationship between these key concepts.

This study aims to analyze the role of al-jinās in al-Tafsīr al-Bayān li al-Qur’ān al-Karīm by Bint al-Syāṭi’ and to explain its function in the construction of the meaning of Qur’anic verses. Studies of al-jinās have generally focused on its classification and rhetorical beauty, while its role in the process of interpretation has received relatively little anttantion. This is a literature review using a qualitative approach. Primary data is sourced from Al-Tafsīr al-Bayān li al-Qur’ān al-Karīm by Bint al-Syāṭi’, while secondary data is obtained from Bint al-Syāṭi’s works, balagha literature, and relevant previous studies. Analysis was conducted through the identification of al-jinās forms, the classification of their types, and an examination of Bint al-Syāṭi’s interpretation of verses containing al-jinās. The research findings indicate that Bint al-Syāṭi’ does not view al-jinās as an independent aesthetic phenomenon, but rather as a linguistic device that reveals the semantic relationship between words within a verse. Sound similarity in al-jinās functions as an interpretive cue that directs the reading toward semantic relationship, whether in the form of emphasis or interconnections between ideads. This finding indicates a close connection between the phonological and semantic aspects in Bint al-Syāṭi’s adabī exegesis and confirms that al-jinās contributes to the formation of meaning in the Qur’an
