Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keaktifan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan media garis bilangan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan model yang digunakan ialah Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus tindakan. Setiap siklus tindakan terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas V SD Negeri Cibunian 01 Bogor tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdiri dari 40 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini antara lain: (1) untuk mengetahui kemampuan awal siswa sebelum dimulai siklus I, digunakan tes kemampuan awal (pretest); (2) untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa pada materi operasi hitung bilangan bulat digunakan tes pemahaman konsep yang dilakukan pada akhir tiap siklus; dan (3) untuk mengetahui keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran digunakan lembar observasi keaktifan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah tes, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari presentase hasil belajar siswa yang pada pra siklus sebesar 45% dengan nilai rata-rata 53, pada siklus I menjadi sebesar 55% dengan nilai rata-rata 59, selanjutnya pada siklus II menjadi sebesar 87,5% dengan nilai rata-rata 70. Begitu pula dengan keaktifan siswa, terdapat peningkatan dengan persentase sebesar 70% pada siklus I, dan meningkat sebesar 77% pada siklus II. Penelitian ini memberikan kesimpulan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar matematika dan keaktifan siswa dengan menggunakan media garis bilangan di kelas V SD Negeri Cibunian 01 Bogor.Kata Kunci: bilangan bulat, hasil belajar, media garis bilangan.  THE IMPROVEMENT EFFORTS OF MATHEMATICS LEARNING USING MEDIA LINE NUMBERSABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to improve the learning outcomes and the learning activity of mathematics student through the medium of the number line. Type of this research is action class research (PTK) with Kemmis and Mc Taggart model. The research was conducted in two cycles of action. Each cycle consisted of two meetings action. Subject of this research are student in grade 5 State Elementary School Cibunian 01 Bogor in periode 2016/2017 which consist of 40 students. The data instrument which is used in this research are: (1) in order to investigate the initial ability before the first cycle conducted, the initial ability test is used (pretest); (2) in order to measure the study result of students on the arithmetic integer operations, the understanding of concepts test is used in the final meeting of each cycle; and (3) in order to investigate the students being active in learning class, the student activity observation sheet is used. Data collecting technique are test, documentation and observation. The data technique analysis is descriptive analysis. These results of research indicate that of the percentage of student learning outcomes in pre-cycle by 45% with an average value of 53, the first cycle of 55% with an average value of 59, then on the second cycle of 87,5% with the average value 70. Similarly, the average student activity with an increase in the percentage of 70% in the first cycle, increased in the second cycle with a percentage of 77%. This research concludes that learning outcomes and student activity in mathematics are increased by using a number line media in grade 5 State Elementary School Cibunian 01 Bogor.

Abstract

This research has two main objectives. The first objective is to identify the role of political power in the budgeting process, while the second is to propose a  control mechanism to enable a budgeting process to accommodate political power in terms of accountability. Indonesia?s Corruption Eradication Commission reports on the misuse of political power to manipulate budgeting in an organized manner. Execution of the budgeting process that does not follow the prevailing strategic policy constitutes fraud. The functions of budgeting are allocation, distribution, and stabilization. This study analyzes budgeting that intertwines with the wielding of political power. The study employed qualitative research supplemented by a case study to explain why and how such phenomena are occurring. The analysis was conducted using the thematic method by way of open-ended questionnaires to explain the data and information that were accumulated concerning the topic at hand and their relevance. Results show that political power plays both negative and positive roles. The positive aspect of the exercise of political power is that it is used as a public channel between society and the government, while its negative impact is the various risks that it poses, such as political power being used to advance self-interests. Political power does not share the same degree of impartiality as statutory rules. The form of politics can alter a budgeting activity or program. The application of a certain budgeting system is proposed to reduce errors and record activity history. Concerning the evaluation of APBD by the DPRD, APIP must help enforce control by reviewing budget changes against the relevant goals and objectives.

Abstract

Studi ini mengkaji tentang pola pemberitaan dengan analisis framing dari dua portal berita online yaitu Kompas.com dan Detik.com terkait soal peristiwa jatuhnya pesawat Sriwijaya Air SJ 182. Masing-masing portal berita memiliki bentuk pemberitaan pada headline yang berbeda. Dimana nilai – nilai berita termuat secara rangkum dan utuh melalui headline yang telah di konstruksi terkait peristiwa dan realita yang ada. Kekuatan sebuah berita akan dipenuhi dengan unsur yang baru, luar biasa, menarik, penting dan mengenai kehidupan manusia akan menjadi sebuah berita yang menarik. Salah satu cara untuk mengukur kekuatan berita tersebut ialah dengan terpenuhinya semua unsur-unsur yang ada didalam nilai berita. Kompas.com dalam pemberitaan jatuhnya Sriwijaya Air SJ 182 lebih mengedepankan metode  sintaksis frame dalam melakukan pemberitaan mengenai peristiwa jatuhnya pesawat Sriwijaya Air, Model ini berasumsi bahwa setiap berita mempunyai frame yang berfungsi untuk membuat sebuah berita penting untuk diketahui khalayak. Dengan menggunakan frame tertentu sebuah penonjolan akan lebih mudah dipahami khalayak. Sementara konstruksi yang dibangun oleh Detik.com hanya berfokus pada kejadian yang terjadi pada waktu tersebut. Sehingga Detik.com menggunakan episodic framing untuk pemberitannya terkait peristiwa Sriwijaya Air SJ 182. Mengingat target pembaca berada pada SES D hingga B1 pada level menengah kebawah  hingga menengah keatas yang membutuhkan surat kabar sebagai sumber informasi dari peristiwa yang tidak dialami sendiri oleh mereka. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deksriptif kualitatif dengan metode analisis framing model Entman.

Abstract

This journal article was written as a study of the Diaspora of the Aceh community in Malaysia. The Tsunami in Aceh 16 years ago has brought big changes to the people, both from the cultural aspects and new ideas that are constantly developing. The earthquake disaster followed by the tsunami caused damage and exacerbated political conflict between GAM and the TNI, which had a major impact on the Acehnese community. This condition made the people of Aceh start thinking about migrating to neighboring countries such as Malaysia because they saw more profitable opportunities. The Diaspora that occurred as a result of the Acehnese who migrated to Malaysia gave birth to a new culture. The presence of the Acehnese in Malaysia is marked by the formation of the Acehnese community and small shops which are the embodiment of the Aceh-Malaysia Diaspora. This study refers to ethnographic principles in the area of the village of Aceh, Yan Kedah. This research is a case study, an exploration and analysis technique in the investigation of a particular social unit. This research was conducted to determine the impact of the presence of the Acehnese diaspora on Malaysia. From the results of the discussion, it was found by researchers that the underlying reason for the Aceh and Malaysian Diaspora was due to the desire of the Acehnese people to leave the conflict zone which threatened the lives of the Acehnese community traders. Then the religious aspects also affect so that it is easy for the Acehnese people to adapt to Malaysia and be able to survive and unite the cultures of Aceh and Malaysia.

Abstract

This journal contains the identity of the Aceh people in diaspora of grocery store (Kedai Runcit) in Malaysia. Diaspora plays a role in the establishment of a cosmopolitan commercial culture. The spread of humans from various parts of the earth to other parts of the world, meeting each other, communicating, forming networks, is ultimately a meeting between cultures, mutual appreciate, mutual respect, and mingling. Given that interaction between people is one of the important factors in strengthening relations between countries. The Indonesian diaspora is also expected to strengthen bilateral relations between Indonesia and Malaysia. The form of actualization of the runcit diaspora is a type of commerce that is easy to engage and can contribute to development. The study of these findings is focused on a review of the cultural identity of the Acehnese society in the grocery store diaspora in Malaysia. Among the Diaspora minorities in Malaysia, there are a small number of Acehnese migrants after the conflict and post-tsunami. Malaysia is known as the second multi-ethnic country after Singapore in the Southeast Asian Region. Researchers would look for samples of Acehnese people who have succeeded in creating new communities among ethnic communities, local Malays, ethnic Chinese, ethnic Indians who are the majority in Malaysia. Researchers would use the method of Literature Review and Netnography interview in data collection. The sample taken was Acehnese people who live or have a grocery store in Malaysia. The results of this research found that it is true that there is a diaspora process between the Acehnese people in Malaysia through commerce.

Abstract

Equitable access to education is still a fundamental issue for Indonesia, because the gap in education is still very visible on this earth. One example of people who still have difficulty accessing education is the children of Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) in Sekaladi Village, many factors ultimately prevent these children from having formal education like most children in Indonesia. Sobat Eksplorasi Anak Dalam (SEAD) is then present to develop education for SAD children, they create a calistung program to improve basic knowledge while developing the ability to answer the challenges of the times for them. In 2023 SEAD and the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program of Jambi University collaborated to try to further develop the education program for Suku Anak Dalam children in Sekaladi Village. One of the programs carried out is to create learning media that is more adapted to the character of the Sekaladi Village SAD children. The results are three learning media, namely Snakes and Ladders, Smart Boards and Popup Books, all of which have been implemented and received a very good response from the children.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to increase student learning independence in Civics subjects by applying the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) learning model in class X IPS 3 SMA Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with a research design using the Kemmis & Taggart spiral model. The research was carried out in 3 cycles where each cycle consisted of 3 meetings. Each cycle is carried out through 4 stages of activity, namely planning, implementing actions, observing (observation), and reflecting. The success criterion set in the research is 60%. The results showed that in cycle I the level of student learning independence increased from the initial condition of an average value of 23% to 49% but had not yet reached the established success criteria. Cycle I then made improvements to continue in cycle II. After the repairs were made, there was an increase in cycle II which increased by 9% to 58% but also did not reach the specified success criteria. Improvements were made again in cycle II to be continued in cycle III. The results of the research cycle III increased by 11% to 69%, which means that the action was declared successful because it had achieved the specified success criteria.Keywords: Independent Learning, CTL Learning Model

Abstract

Background: In an increasingly competitive world of education, the importance of school promotion is increasingly felt. Schools must be able to compete to attract prospective students and parents. Purpose: This research aims to determine the needs of schools in carrying out promotions. Design and methods: This study used qualitative research methods. Needs analysis is based on the Hutchinson & Waters model which focuses on aspects necessities, lacks, and wants. Interviews were conducted with four PPDB administrators including teachers, PPDB Chair, and School Administrative Staff. The analysis technique used is thematic analysis, while validation is carried out using member checking. Results: The results of the study show that schools need promotions in printed form. With this, schools can achieve their promotional goals in a more widespread and efficient manner.

Abstract

The public health center in Pante Kuyun, situated in the Setia Bakti district of Aceh Jaya regency, Southeast Aceh, generates various types of medical waste during its operations. Improper management of medical waste can have negative impacts on both the environment and human health. This research aims to assess the current medical waste management practices at the Pante Kuyun public health center. The study utilized a descriptive observation method and revealed that the medical waste at the facility is not being handled in accordance with standard operating procedures. Waste segregation by type is lacking, and there is a lack of plastic bag liners and proper labeling for waste disposal. The findings of this study underscore the importance of implementing proper medical waste management practices at the Pante Kuyun public health center to protect both the environment and human health. Recommendations for improvement include providing staff with training on proper waste handling procedures, ensuring the availability of necessary resources for waste management, and implementing regular monitoring and evaluation of waste management practices at the facility.

Abstract

Abstract : This research is motivated by the lack of maximum service, in a government agency there needs to be asset management activities as one of the activities that handles the problem of procuring types of assets to support the operational needs of national and political unitary bodies. The aim of this research is to design and build a web-based asset management information system at Sriwijaya State Sports Middle School, South Sumatra to be able to assist goods administrators in processing data, making it easier to search for goods data, recording and reporting. The type of research used is qualitative research and the software design method used in this research is waterfall. The data collection method used is the interview method, while the testing method used is black box. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide an asset management information system website that can be accessed by management staff, utilize regional property and can connect directly with property management so that they can manage asset management data better in the future. The conclusion of this research makes it easier to process asset management data and create reports. Abstrak : Sekertariat Daerah adalah institusi atau organisasi yang membantu Bupati dalam penyusunan kebijakan dan pengoordinasian administrasi terhadap pelaksanaan tugas Perangkat Daerah serta pelayanan administratif. Masyarakat tidak hanya memperhatikan kuantitas saja, tetapi juga kualitas. Sama halnya dengan instansi atau organisasi lainnya. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan Audit Teknologi Informasi dengan menggunakan Framework COBIT 5. Dengan mengikuti tahapan serta kriteria yang telah ditetapkan oleh COBIT. Tahapan demi tahapan tersebut akan menghasilkan sebuah parameter tingkat kelola suatu teknologi informasi yang disebut Capability Level. Dimana parameter tersebut nantinya akan digunakan sebagai tolak ukur dengan membandingkan dengan target yang ingin dicapai. Selisih antara target yang ingin dicapai dengan keadaan saat ini disebut dengan Gap Analisis.
