Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas implementasi kebijakan ekoteologi dalam pelestarian lingkungan di Pesantren Modern Al-Manar. Ekoteologi dipahami sebagai pendekatan teologis yang mengintegrasikan nilai keagamaan Islam dengan tanggung jawab ekologis manusia sebagai khalifah di bumi. Permasalahan lingkungan yang semakin meningkat menuntut lembaga pendidikan Islam, termasuk pesantren, untuk berperan aktif dalam menanamkan etika lingkungan kepada peserta didiknya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian meliputi pimpinan pesantren, pengelola lingkungan, pengurus, dan santri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pesantren Modern Al-Manar telah menerapkan kebijakan ekoteologi melalui integrasi nilai lingkungan dalam kurikulum, pembiasaan hidup bersih, pengelolaan sampah, penghematan air dan energi, serta program penghijauan. Implementasi kebijakan ini berjalan efektif melalui pembiasaan harian santri, kegiatan rutin seperti Jumat bersih, pengawasan berjenjang, serta edukasi lingkungan. Faktor pendukung kebijakan meliputi komitmen pimpinan, kedisiplinan santri, serta kerja sama pengurus. Adapun hambatan yang muncul meliputi kurangnya fasilitas pengelolaan sampah, ketidakmerataan kesadaran lingkungan antarsantri, serta kendala cuaca. Secara keseluruhan, kebijakan ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran ekologis santri dan menciptakan lingkungan pesantren yang bersih, tertib, dan hijau.

Abstract

The use of innovative learning media is now an urgent need to address increasingly complex learning challenges, especially in strengthening students' understanding and interest in learning.This study aims to develop innovative learning media in the form of bilingual e-comics (Aceh–Indonesian) on tajwid material, specifically the rules of Noon sakinah or tanween in Min. The background of this study is based on the low effectiveness of tajwid learning due to the dominance of conventional methods, the lack of interactive media, and the language gap between the lesson material and the daily lives of students in Aceh. Through the 4D (define, design, develop, disseminate) Research and Development (R&D) approach, this research focuses on the stages of needs analysis and product design by involving Qur'an Hadith teachers from various Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (State Elementary Islamic School) in Aceh. The survey results show that all teachers recognize the importance of learning media and the majority are in dire need of innovative media such as bilingual e-comics. The design process was carried out by compiling tajwid material in a bilingual digital comic format, complete with contextual illustrations and narratives that are close to the local culture. Expert validation stated that this media product was feasible with minor revisions, and the teachers' responses were very positive in terms of ease of use and attractiveness in the classroom. Limited implementation at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 11 Banda Aceh showed a significant increase in student understanding and motivation. This study recommends the use of bilingual e-comics as a modern solution to overcome tajwid learning challenges, while also serving as an effort to preserve local culture through the integration of local languages in digital learning materials.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the ability of Islamic Religious Education teachers at Tapaktuan Junior High School in using the Merdeka Mengajar Platform. This study uses a quantitative method. This study was located at Tapaktuan Junior High School. The sample in this study were Islamic Religious Education teachers who had a Merdeka Mengajar Platform account. There were 5 Islamic Religious Education teachers who had a Merdeka Mengajar Platform account. The data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires and observations. The data analysis technique used a percentage formula, then analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of this study are that most Islamic Religious Education teachers in Tapaktuan are not yet fully able to use the Merdeka Mengajar Platform. These teachers still need to improve their abilities in all the features available on the Merdeka Mengajar Platform. While a small number of Islamic Religious Education teachers are already able to use the Merdeka Mengajar Platform, they still need to improve their abilities in the Student Assessment and Work Results features. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebijakan penyelenggaraan Pendidikan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri (PTKIN) di Indonesia dengan pendekatan analisis kronologis. Fokus utama penelitian adalah menggali bagaimana kebijakan PTKIN berkembang sejak masa kemerdekaan hingga era Reformasi, serta dampaknya terhadap kualitas pendidikan tinggi agama Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, melalui studi pustaka yang mengkaji berbagai literatur, dokumen kebijakan, dan peraturan terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan penyelenggaraan PTKIN mengalami perubahan signifikan, dimulai dari kebijakan sentralistik pada era Orde Baru yang memastikan keseragaman pendidikan, hingga pergeseran menuju otonomi dan desentralisasi pada era Reformasi yang memberikan fleksibilitas lebih bagi PTKIN untuk berinovasi. Kebijakan ini juga dipengaruhi oleh kondisi sosial, politik, dan ekonomi yang berkembang di Indonesia. Transformasi kebijakan ini berkontribusi dalam peningkatan kualitas pendidikan agama Islam, meskipun tetap menghadapi tantangan dalam mengadaptasi perkembangan teknologi dan globalisasi. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan yang lebih dalam mengenai kebijakan PTKIN serta rekomendasi untuk penguatan kebijakan yang mendukung pendidikan agama Islam yang lebih relevan dan berkualitas.

Abstract

The Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy is a fundamental breakthrough in Indonesia's higher education system that aims to transform the conventional learning paradigm into a more flexible, innovative, and high-quality education. This study aims to analyze the implementation, challenges, and policies of MBKM in higher education institutions through a qualitative approach using a literature review method. The results of the study show that MBKM provides significant benefits in expanding student learning opportunities, improving graduate competencies, and building creativity and independence. However, the implementation of MBKM also faces a number of challenges, such as expanding communication, improving facilities, and adapting policies at the university level. Nevertheless, MBKM is expected to bring positive energy to the world of higher education in Indonesia by giving students a more active role and autonomy in their learning. Further research is needed to gain a deeper understanding of the effectiveness and efficiency of MBKM implementation in the context of Indonesian higher education.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the root causes of interreligious conflict in Singkil at the grassroots level and to examine the mechanisms for conflict resolution in order to achieve mutual respect and prevent intolerance among religious adherents. The central argument of this research is that the emergence of sentiments and frictions among religious communities is driven by various factors, including differences in interfaith beliefs, politics, economics, ethnicity, and other forms of provocation that trigger conflict. The research seeks to map and categorize the root causes of conflict at the grassroots level and to explore the mechanisms for conflict resolution through various alternative conflict resolution approaches. This study employs a qualitative method, beginning with field observations and followed by in-depth interviews with key informants to uncover the causes of conflict and the mechanisms used for its resolution in the Singkil region. The findings indicate that the root causes of interreligious conflict stem from issues related to the establishment of houses of worship since the 1960s, differing interpretations of religious teachings, specific agendas that provoke conflict, the spread of misinformation, and provocative statements disseminated through social media alongside the advancement of information technology. Conflict resolution mechanisms have been implemented through cultural and customary approaches, deliberation and consensus, adherence to agreed-upon regulations and norms, the active and committed role of local government in addressing the conflict, and the development of mutual acceptance and respect among the conflicting parties

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education (Pendidikan Agama Islam/PAI) learning at MAS Darussyariah, where the curriculum has been implemented for the past two years. However, field findings indicate that PAI teachers have not yet fully optimized the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in instructional practices. This study aims to analyze the challenges faced by PAI teachers and identify the strategies employed to optimize the implementation of the curriculum. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Learning documents such as teaching modules, instructional media, and assessment instruments were used for triangulation and to evaluate the alignment between instructional planning and classroom practice. The findings reveal that the challenges experienced by PAI teachers include limited understanding of the Merdeka Curriculum, difficulties in designing differentiated teaching modules, diverse assessment demands, insufficient professional training, limited facilities and infrastructure, and the need to adapt learning practices to the era of modernization while maintaining Islamic values. The strategies implemented include improving teachers’ competencies through training programs, applying flexible and digital-based learning approaches, integrating Islamic values into instructional processes and the Pancasila Student Profile, as well as implementing authentic assessment. This study provides practical implications for strengthening instructional processes in PAI learning to support the effective implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum.
