Abstract

ABSTRACT In the 21st century, changes in digital technology advancement have become a global phenomenon that has an impact on many aspects including education. Digitalization not only has an impact on the way information is delivered but also on the paradigm in education fundamentally. This study uses qualitative research with a literature review approach by collecting data from various valid and relevant academic sources. The analysis technique used in qualitative literature review research is theme analysis by grouping the findings into major topics that can describe the data patterns obtained. Technological developments present challenges in the form of obstacles to infrastructure and resources, inadequate digital skills and literacy of educators, and gaps between policy formulation and technology implementation in schools. Opportunities that can be utilized are improving the standards and effectiveness of the learning process, improving the technical digital competence of teachers in the field and strategic synergy between policies and technology implementation. Several things that are recommended as strategic planning steps are the formulation and development of more inclusive and adaptive Islamic education planning, developing an open and flexible curriculum by including digital literacy, investing to improve the development of technological infrastructure in educational institutions and implementing a managerial system to carry out continuous data-based monitoring and assessment. Abstract

This research refutes previous research that not all parents in urban areas who are busy working do not play a role in the students' learning process. This research describes the role of parents in the student learning process and measures their influence on student learning outcomes in elementary schools. The research method used is mixed method. Qualitative data was obtained by conducting interviews with parents, teachers and students. Meanwhile, quantitative data was obtained through questionnaires and student learning outcomes in cognitive aspects. The sample in this research was 5th grade students at State Elementary School, totaling 45 students. The questionnaire in this research was tested using validity and reliability tests. Meanwhile, to test the influence of the role of parents on student learning outcomes using the T test. Based on the results of the t-test calculation, obtained tcount of 3.453 > ttable value of 1.681 with a significance level of 5% or 0.05. The significant level of the parental role variable is 0.001 < the significant level value of 0.05, which means that there is a significant influence between the role of parents on student learning outcomes. The coefficient of determination value is 0.217. However, this research found that there are other factors besides the role of parents. Referring to the coefficient of determination or R square, it is 0.217 or equal to 21.7%. This figure means that the role of parents has an influence of 21.7%, while 78.3% is influenced by other variables outside the variables studied.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategic planning implemented in SD Negeri 7 Talang Ubi to improve the quality of education and adaptation to changing times. The main focus of this study is the formulation of the vision, mission, objectives, and steps for implementing technology and character-based education strategies. In addition, this study also explores supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing strategies, including a SWOT analysis that includes the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by the school. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with an observation approach, interviews, and analysis of school documents. Data were obtained from various sources, including the principal, teachers, school committee, and strategic planning documents. The results of the study indicate that the strategic planning of SD Negeri 7 Talang Ubi has been designed systematically through the evaluation of the vision and mission, preparation of medium and long-term plans, and implementation of periodic monitoring and evaluation. Implementing this strategy positively impacts improving the quality of learning, utilizing technology in education, and strengthening student character so that the school can transform into a superior and innovative educational institution. Abstract

Abstract Educational planning is a crucial element in achieving optimal quality of education. This study aims to explain the history and background of the importance of planning in the world of education, as well as the factors that encourage the need for adaptive educational planning that is relevant to the development of the times. Educational planning is not only about formulating goals and strategies, but also includes an understanding of social, economic, political, and technological developments. Over the course of history, educational planning has evolved from being simple in early civilizations to becoming a structured and complex system. Various theories and approaches in educational planning have also changed to adapt to the demands of globalization and technological advances. This article reviews various perspectives from experts and emphasizes the importance of understanding the historical context in designing effective educational planning. Thus, mature educational planning can support the achievement of better educational goals, as well as ensure inclusive and sustainable education in the future. This study also offers suggestions for improving the quality of educational planning to be more responsive to changes and community needs. Keywords: History, Background, Educational Planning

Abstract

Analysis is a basic ability for students to think critically and include one of the high cognitive that were important to mastered students. Where the ability of high-level thinking was one of the goals of education in the 21st century. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Generative Learning model on the Ability of Student Analysis on Matter of Human Nervous System in Class XI IPA SMA Muara Lakitan Musi Rawas Regency. This research used Quasi Experiment method of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of this research was the students of class XI IPA with sampling technique used nonprobability of purposive sampling. With the sample of research class XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2 which amounted to 69 students. Technique of data collection used multiple choice test amounting to 15 question, observation of model execution, field notes and documentation. Based on analysis result of student's analysis ability showed that mastery of analysis ability indicator in experiment class 67,7% higher than control class that was 55,3%. The improvement of analytical ability can be seen from the N-gain value where the experimental class has a gain value of 0,53 with medium category higher than control class that is 0.19 with low category. The results of hypothesis testing using t test obtained tcount = 3.969 and ttable = 1.670 with 95% confidence level ( = 0.05). The data shows that tcount> ttable, then H0 is rejected and Ha accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the Generative Learning model has an effect on the students' analysis ability in the XI grade of SMA Negeri Muara Lakitan of Musi Rawas Regency.

Abstract

The 21st century is characterized as a century of openness or globalization. Life also develops over time, especially in terms of language and technological advances. English is an international language because English has become a universal language in this era. Studying English is one of the various factors to support the students in the university. Every major should have an English general class for the first semester to provide students with English basic skills. Related to the issue researchers plan to design a research entitled “Students’ Perspective toward the Importance of English Learning for Arabic Education Students”. The research aims to determine students’ perspective of what they learn related to English class and how it affects their English basic. The participants of this research were second-semester Arabic education students who had taken an English class. The participants were chosen by using purposive sampling. This research was conducted at Tarbiyah Faculty of UIN Raden Fatah located at Jalan Prof. K. H. Zainal Abidin Fikri, Palembang,  South Sumatera from December to January 2024. This research design used qualitative research. The data was collected by using a questionnaire and interview and analyzed simultaneously using Creswell’s theory about data analysis spiral to get accurate results about the issue. Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze how religious activities are at SMA Negeri 1 Muara Padang Banyuasin what are the supporting and inhibiting factors for strengthening Pancasila character values through religious activities at SMA Negeri 1 Muara Padang Banyuasin and what is the strategy for strengthening Pancasila character values through religious activities at SMA Negeri 1 Muara Padang Banyuasin The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained was then analyzed descriptively using data analysis techniques in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the analysis that the researchers did, it can be concluded that the implementation of religious activities at SMA Negeri 1 Muara Padang Banyuasin, namely, shifting boxes, reading the Qur'an before learning takes place, women's daughters, Ramadhan, and celebrating Islamic holidays such as Maulid Nabi and Isro' Mi 'roj. Supporting factors are in the form of facilities and infrastructure, teacher commitment, and student involvement in the implementation of religious activities. Independent school curriculum, and the spirit of Pancasila students. While the inhibiting factors are the lack of awareness of some students in the implementation of religious activities, the presence of environmental conditions, and the presence of peers who influence them. The strategy to strengthen Pancasila character values is through exemplary and habituation strategies, as well as by inviting the support of community religious committees and leaders.

Abstract

Annual planning in educational institutions is a key element in supporting national education development, particularly in aligning school operations with national visions such as the Merdeka Curriculum. This article aims to analyze how annual planning can be optimized to enhance access, quality, and relevance of education in Indonesia. Using a qualitative literature review approach, this study examines the concept of annual planning, implementation challenges, and its relationship with national education indicators based on academic and policy sources from 2015 to 2025. The findings indicate that effective annual planning facilitates programs such as teacher training and project-based learning, but is hindered by resource limitations, regional disparities, and a lack of managerial capacity. Technology, such as the Merdeka Mengajar platform, and participatory approaches can help overcome these barriers. This article recommends managerial training, cross-sector collaboration, and the use of technology to strengthen planning, supported by inclusive government policies. Further research is recommended to empirically evaluate the implementation of annual planning, especially in remote areas. This study offers theoretical insights and practical guidance for education administrators in realizing high-quality national education.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of educational financing management strategies at Public Elementary School 42 Talang Ubi. The research aims to analyze how the school conducts financial planning, allocation, utilization, and evaluation to support the achievement of its educational objectives. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results indicate that the school adopts several strategic measures, including participatory budgeting involving key stakeholders, expenditure prioritization based on academic and operational needs, and the practice of transparent financial reporting. These strategies have contributed to more efficient and accountable financial management, thereby supporting the quality of educational services. Nevertheless, the school continues to face challenges such as limited funding sources, dependence on government allocations, and delays in fund disbursement. The findings underscore the critical role of strategic financial management in enhancing educational effectiveness at the elementary level. The study recommends strengthening institutional capacity in financial management and exploring alternative funding mechanisms to ensure the sustainability of educational programs.
