Abstract

Pergeseran makna seksualitas di kalangan kaum muda telah menjadi fenomena sosial di era globalisasi. Hubungan seksual yang sebelumnya dianggap sakral melalui ikatan pernikahan, saat ini telah mengalami pergeseran pemaknaan dan menjadi sebuah hubungan yang dianggap biasa saja melalui perilaku seks bebas di kalangan remaja. Studi ini mencoba untuk menjelaskan fenomena tersebut dengan melihat perilaku seksual yang dilakukan oleh lima mahasiswi di Yogyakarta. Sehingga studi ini berfokus pada pertanyaan “Bagaimana makna seksualitas telah bergeser di kalangan kaum muda? Untuk menjawab pertanyaan tersebut, studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk menjelaskan faktor yang sangat kompleks dan merubah persepsi remaja terhadap seksualitas dan mendorong mereka pada perilaku seks bebas melalui prostitusi. Temuan dari studi menunjukkan bahwa pergeseran makna seksualitas di kalangan remaja disebabkan karena pengalaman buruk seksual yang pernah dialami, pengaruh media dan budaya pop, serta berubahnya makna sosial dan gender yang mendorong remaja perempuan pada perilaku seks bebas. Prostitusi menjadi alternatif yang dipilih sebagai pengekspresian seksual dengan tujuan untuk memperoleh kebahagiaan seks tanpa melalui komitmen hubungan sosial. Kesimpulan dari studi ini menunjukkan bahwa bergesernya makna seksualitas di kalangan kaum muda disebabkan oleh pengaruh internal melalui dorongan psikologis akibat pengalaman buruk dalam seksualitas yang pernah dialami dan pengaruh eksternal melalui pengaruh lingkungan dan budaya pop yang menjadi fenomena sosial saat ini. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar bergesernya makna seksualitas di kalangan remaja dijelaskan dengan mencari data yang berasal dari remaja di berbagai kalangan yang terlibat dalam perilaku seks bebas dan menggunakan informan lebih banyak untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif dari fenomena tersebut.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of work–life balance on job satisfaction, with burnout serving as a mediating variable. Employing a quantitative explanatory design, the study was conducted within a mining services company in Indonesia, namely PT Pama Persada Nusantara (KPCT Site). Data were collected through a survey-based approach using structured questionnaires administered to 67 employees selected through purposive sampling. Statistical analysis was applied to test both direct and indirect relationships among the variables. The findings indicate that work–life balance has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction and a significant negative effect on burnout. However, burnout does not exhibit a significant direct effect on job satisfaction. Despite this, burnout plays an indirect mediating role in the relationship between work–life balance and job satisfaction, suggesting that improvements in work–life balance can reduce burnout levels, which in turn enhances job satisfaction indirectly. These results highlight the complexity of employee well-being dynamics, where burnout may not independently determine job satisfaction but still functions as an important psychological mechanism linking work–life balance to employee attitudes. This study contributes to the human resource management and organizational behavior literature by clarifying the mediating role of burnout in the work–life balance–job satisfaction nexus, particularly in high-demand industrial contexts. Practically, the findings underscore the importance for organizations to implement effective work–life balance policies as a strategic approach to managing employee well-being and improving job satisfaction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan manajemen sumber daya manusia dalam proses pengumpulan dana zakat di Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS) Kabupaten Enrekang. Fokus penelitian ini mencakup tahapan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, serta pengawasan terhadap tenaga kerja yang terlibat dalam kegiatan pengumpulan zakat. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi langsung, dan studi dokumentasi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan manajemen sumber daya manusia di Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS) Kabupaten Enrekang sudah berjalan dengan cukup optimal, meskipun masih dijumpai tantangan seperti keterbatasan tenaga amil yang profesional serta kebutuhan akan pelatihan yang berkelanjutan. Secara keseluruhan, pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang baik berperan penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas dan jumlah penghimpunan zakat.

Abstract

Employee performance is a strategic determinant of organizational effectiveness in State-Owned Enterprises, where accountability, efficiency, and public service outcomes are closely interconnected. This study aims to examine the effects of knowledge management and work motivation on employee performance within a public-sector organizational context. A quantitative explanatory design was employed using a census of 32 employees at a State-Owned Enterprise branch office. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression to test the partial and simultaneous influence of knowledge management and work motivation on employee performance. The findings indicate that work motivation has a positive and statistically significant effect on employee performance, confirming the importance of motivational mechanisms in enhancing productivity and engagement within bureaucratic institutions. In contrast, knowledge management demonstrates a statistically significant negative relationship with performance. This unexpected result suggests that ineffective implementation, cultural resistance, inadequate technological integration, or knowledge overload may undermine the potential benefits of knowledge management practices. Simultaneously, both variables significantly explain variations in performance outcomes, highlighting their strategic relevance. In conclusion, the study emphasizes that work motivation consistently strengthens employee performance, while knowledge management requires contextual alignment and effective execution to generate positive outcomes. These findings contribute to the refinement of human resource management strategies in public-sector organizations and underscore the importance of integrating motivational systems with well-designed knowledge management practices..

Abstract

This study examines the theological debate between Salafi and Ashʾari traditions regarding the interpretation of Asmāʾ wa Ṣifāt (the Divine Names and Attributes). It explores its implications for identity construction and social dynamics within contemporary Muslim communities. The research employs a qualitative approach using controversy mapping and thematic analysis of narrative data derived from religious lectures, online discussions, and relevant scholarly texts representing both theological orientations. The findings demonstrate that the debate surrounding Asmāʾ wa Ṣifāt is not merely a doctrinal disagreement but reflects a multilayered contestation involving social, epistemological, and symbolic dimensions. The literalist interpretive tendency associated with Salafi thought, and the rational-theological approach emphasized within the Ashʾari tradition, contribute to the emergence of polarization, exclusivist patterns of daʾwah, and the marginalization of moderate religious discourse in certain contexts. Moreover, the study reveals that religious interpretation functions as a social practice embedded in power relations, identity formation, and the construction of religious authority within the contemporary Muslim public sphere. By highlighting these dynamics, this research underscores the importance of interdisciplinary perspectives in understanding intra-religious theological disputes. It emphasizes the ethics of difference as an essential framework for managing diversity and reducing conflict within Muslim societies.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of fingerprint attendance system implementation on the work discipline of civil servants at the Makassar City Manpower Office. Although biometric attendance systems have been widely adopted in public sector organizations, empirical findings regarding their effectiveness remain inconsistent, particularly within local government institutions. This study employs a quantitative explanatory approach using a saturated sampling technique involving 57 civil servants. Data were collected through structured questionnaires, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using simple linear regression with SPSS version 27. The results reveal that the implementation of the fingerprint attendance system has a positive and significant effect on employee work discipline, as indicated by a t-value of 6.767, which exceeds the critical value of 1.673, with a significance level of 0.000. The regression coefficient shows that improvements in the implementation of biometric attendance systems are associated with increased employee discipline, particularly in terms of punctuality, compliance with attendance schedules, and adherence to organizational regulations. The coefficient of determination (R²) indicates that 45.4% of the variation in work discipline is explained by the fingerprint attendance system. These findings highlight the role of digital attendance systems as effective managerial control mechanisms in enhancing accountability and discipline within public sector organizations. The study contributes to human resource management literature by providing empirical evidence from a local government context and offers practical insights for policymakers to optimize attendance systems and strengthen organizational discipline.

Abstract

This research is a type of quantitative research with the aim of determining the influence of the work environment and work discipline in improving employee performance at the Makassar Maritime Science Polytechnic. The sample for this research was taken from employees who worked at the Makassar Maritime Science Polytechnic. The type of data used is quantitative data obtained through distributed questionnaires and is related to the problem being studied. Data collection was carried out by observation and distribution of questionnaires. In this research, the data sources used in data collection include primary data and secondary data. The research instrument uses the Likert scale method. Based on the results of data analysis using multiple linear regression using the Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) version 26 application. The results of this research show that the work environment does not have a significant effect on improving employee performance and work discipline has a significant effect on improving employee performance. Simultaneously, work environment variables and work discipline have a significant effect on improving employee performance at the Makassar Maritime Science Polytechnic.

Abstract

This study evaluates the relevance of the KMI curriculum at Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Kunir to community needs and graduate competence. While prior studies have examined pesantren curricula from institutional or pedagogical perspectives, limited research has assessed curriculum relevance based on the alignment between graduate outcomes and stakeholder expectations. This study employs a mixed-methods concurrent triangulation design, combining survey data from 100 graduates and 50 graduate users with qualitative data from interviews and focus group discussions involving pesantren leaders, teachers, alumni, and community stakeholders. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative data were examined through thematic analysis. The findings indicate that graduates demonstrate strong religious competence (80%), communication skills, and work ethics (75%), reflecting the effectiveness of the curriculum in fostering core pesantren values. However, technical and analytical skills remain comparatively weaker (65%), suggesting a gap between curriculum outcomes and labor market demands. The study highlights the need to strengthen employability-oriented competencies, particularly in digital literacy and problem-solving. These findings contribute to the discourse on curriculum relevance in religious education by offering an outcome-based evaluation of pesantren curricula grounded in multi-stakeholder perspectives.   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi relevansi kurikulum KMI di PP. Darussalam Kunir terhadap kebutuhan masyarakat dan kompetensi lulusan. Studi sebelumnya umumnya menelaah kurikulum pesantren dari perspektif institusional dan pedagogis, namun masih terbatas yang mengkaji kesesuaian antara output lulusan dengan harapan pemangku kepentingan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed-method dengan desain concurrent triangulation yang menggabungkan data survei dari 100 alumni dan 50 pengguna lulusan dengan data kualitatif melalui wawancara dan focus group discussion yang melibatkan pimpinan pesantren, guru, alumni, dan masyarakat. Data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, sedangkan data kualitatif dianalisis melalui analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lulusan memiliki kompetensi keagamaan yang kuat (80%), serta keterampilan komunikasi dan etika kerja yang baik (75%), yang mencerminkan keberhasilan kurikulum dalam membentuk nilai-nilai pesantren. Namun, keterampilan teknis dan analitis masih relatif rendah (65%), yang menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan antara hasil kurikulum dan tuntutan dunia kerja. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya penguatan kompetensi berbasis employability, khususnya literasi digital dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada kajian relevansi kurikulum pendidikan keagamaan melalui pendekatan evaluasi berbasis outcome yang melibatkan berbagai perspektif pemangku kepentingan.
