Abstract

Strategi Nasional Untuk Kekerasan dalam Keluarga di Scotlandia mengimplementasikan Strategi Pencegahan (Prevention Strategy), baik secara lokal maupun nasional Elemen-elemen kunci dari Prevention Strategy adalah: 1) Meningkatkan kesadaran publik (Public Awareness Raising); 2) Pendidikan (Education). 3) Pelatihan (Training); 4) Layanan untuk perempuan, anak-anak dan pemuda (Service,for women, children and young people); 5) Legislasi (legislation); 6) Strategi Tempat Kerja (workplace strategies); 7) Bekerja dengan Iaki-laki yang menggunakan kekerasan (Work with men who use violence). Salah satu kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah pelatihan 'Respect" bagi guru. Pelatihan ini tentang cara bagaimana mengajarkan kesetaraan pada anak. Target curriculum dalam pelatihan antara lain: 1) Komitmen untuk belajar; 2) menghargai dan menjaga diri; 3) menghargai dan menjaga orang lain; dan 4) tanggung jawab social. Konsep dari Skotlandia ini dapat diambil nilai-nilai dan prinsip pendidikannya untuk diimplemantasikan di Indonesia. Pelatihan terhadap guru dan calon guru tentang "pcmbclajaran yang menghargai" (respect) dapat diberikan agar guru dan calon guru memiliki "sense of respect" yang menjadi bagian dari diri yang tercermin dalam setiap perilaku guru baik di kelas maupun di dalam kelas. Selanjutnya, guru melatih dan membiasakan perilaku anak didiknya untuk memiliki "sense of respect" terhadap teman-teman dan lingkungan sehingga generasi kita menjadi generasi yang sanggup mengubah kekerasan menjadi perdamaian.

Abstract

The purpose of social studies learning is for students to become sensitive to problems that arise both within themselves and in their social environment. Social studies learning must adapt to face the challenges of the 21st century, Social studies education has significant relevance to 21st century skills; 1) Global Understanding, 2) Critical Thinking Skills, 3) Communication Skills, 4) Problem-Solving Ability, 5) Global Citizenship, 6) Technology and Media Literacy and, 7) Collaboration Skills. Thus, social studies not only provides an understanding of historical facts and social reality, but also forms skills and attitudes that are in accordance with the demands of the changing world in the 21st century.

Abstract

Multicultural cultural values are a strong foundation to be believed and important in the development of the world of Guidance and Counseling, especially in multicultural counseling practices. The cultural diversity that exists in Indonesia is very appropriate when counselors are able to explore and implement cultural values in counseling practices. One of the cultural values that can be used is to combine the concept of Balinese cultural values based on the beliefs of ancestors since ancient times which are religious through stories and meanings implied from generation to generation in the use of Tridatu thread bracelets and provide a special feel, especially for Hindus. The research method used is a qualitative description method by collecting library data, reading and recording and processing research materials then presenting them and drawing conclusions from the data obtained regarding the use of the Tridatu Bracelet. The thread used for Tridatu is not an ordinary thread. Before being given to the people, the thread has certainly gone through a ritual process first so that it has a deep meaning and philosophy. Hindus believe that the Tridatu Bracelet has the power of God Hyang Almighty as the creator, maintainer, and smelter. Counselors as implementers of counseling must really have an awareness of the cultural diversity that exists. Then the counselor should have good competence in multicultural coverage, namely awareness, knowledge and skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of Adversity of class XII students of SMAN 1 Tarakan. In class XII students who have a series of tasks that must be fulfilled as a graduation requirement.  Although the government in the Circular Letter (SE) of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 1 of 2021 has eliminated the national exam, it requires resilience in completing tasks as a graduation requirement, one of which is taking the School Examination and has completed the entire learning program. besides that, class XII students are also preoccupied with the choice of continuing studies after graduating from high school. This study uses a quantitative approach that is descriptive in nature with a survey method. The population in this study were students of class XII SMAN 1 Tarakan with a total of 362 students. Sampling in this study used simple random sampling, by first calculating the number of samples using the Slovin formula, so that the number of research samples obtained was 190 students. Data collection using Adversity Response Profile (ARP). Instrument testing with expert validation (expert judgment), namely experts in the field of counseling and language experts. The reliability test results show that the reliability index of the adversity quotient instrument is 0.920. The index shows that the instrument has a very high level of reliability and can be used in research. Research results 39 people (21%) were in the high category or climbers, 151 people (79%) were in the medium category or campers, and the low category or quitters 0%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan model kon-septual difusi kebijakan, faktor-faktor penentu adopsi, dan metode penelitian difusi pengarusutamaan gender (PUG). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi dengan subjek Fatayat NU di DIY.  Data dikumpulkan dengan interview mendalam dengan triangulasi tema-tema. Analisis data menggunakan Interpretive Phenomenology Analysis (IPA) dan Event History Analysis (EHA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model konseptual difusi kebijakan pada individu ditemukan dengan tahap pengetahuan, persuasi, konfirmasi, keputusan dan implementasi. Adopsi kebijakan PUG pada individu ditentukan oleh faktor internal meliputi latar belakang individu, keinovatif-an sesuai dengan kebutuhan individu, dan perilaku aktif dari individu dan faktor penentu eksternal meliputi ketersediaan sumber dan saluran informasi, Anggota Kelompok (Member group), Kelompok Referensi (Reference group). Penelitian difusi kebijakan pada individu menggambarkan sebuah proses mental yang kompleks yang membutuhkan kajian interdisipliner berba-gai bidang ilmu. Kata kunci: pengarusutamaan gender, difusi, adopsi, kebijakan, metode penelitian______________________________________________________________  THE DIFFUSION OF THE GENDER MAINSTREAMING POLICY IN INDIVIDUALS: A REFLECTION ON THE DIFFUSION RESEARCH METHOD Abstract This study aims to find out a conceptual model for the diffusion of a policy, adoption determinant factors, and a research method for the gender mainstreaming diffusion. This study employed the phenomenological qualitative approach involving the members of Fatayat NU in Yogyakarta Special Territory. The data were collected through in-depth interviews using theme triangulation. The data were analyzed using the Interpretive Phenomenology Analysis (IPA) and Event History Analysis (EHA). The research findings show that that the conceptual model for the diffusion of a policy in individuals is applied through the stages of knowledge, persuasion, confirma-tion, decision, and implementation. The adoption of the gender mainstreaming policy in individuals is determined by internal factors, including the individual's backgrounds, the innovative-ness in accordance with the individual's needs, and the individual's active behaviors, and by external factors, including the availability of information sources and channels, member groups, and reference groups. A study on the diffusion of a policy in individuals describes a very complex mental process that needs interdisciplinary studies involving a variety of sciences. Abstract

The problem of tolerance in schools arises due to a lack of understanding of diversity, social, communication difficulties, and injustice in treatment so that the role of education is needed in shaping students who have an attitude of tolerance. The purpose of this study is to explore the level of understanding and practice of tolerance among students. This research is a quantitative study, with data acquisition through the survey method. The data collected will be analyzed descriptively to identify the level of understanding of students' tolerance attitudes in everyday life in the school environment. The results of this study indicate that although students at SMP N 1 Bontang are divided into several classes, and have religious differences, the students have a good level of understanding and practice of tolerance as evidenced by the results of the analysis assessment. This illustrates that the educational efforts and school environment at SMP N 1 Bontang was successful in promoting tolerance among students who have diverse backgrounds.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of group counseling services with self-management techniques to reduce online game addiction at SMA Negeri 4 Malinau. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods. This research design is one group pre-test-post-test. The population of this research was 32 students and the sample was 5 students. Research analysis used the Wilcoxon test with the help of SPSS 26 for Windows. Based on the results of this study, it shows a decrease in reducing online game addiction after participating in the self-management technique group counseling services that have been provided. This pretest obtained a score of 360 with an average score of 72. After being given the service, students experienced a decrease in their score on the posttest of 252 with an average of 50.4. The results of the Wilcoxon test using SPSS 26 showed that the Z count in the experimental class was -2.023 and a significance level of 0.05. It is known that the Asymp.Sig.(2-tailed) value is 0.043<0.05, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that self-management technique group counseling services are effective in reducing online game addiction.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the results of KMO MSA analysis, Eigen Value, reliability, and Standard Error Measurement (SEm) between raw scores (original) and standardized scores (rescaling) through the summated rating scaling method on critical reasoning attitudes of vocational students in Yogyakarta City. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach involving 204 private vocational students as subjects. The instrument used to measure critical reasoning attitudes has gone through thorough validity and reliability testing before the research was carried out. The analysis process was carried out by calculating the KMO MSA, Eigen Value, reliability, and SEm values on both raw and standardized scores. The results of the two types of scores were then compared to identify any differences. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the raw score had a KMO MSA of 0.87, reliability of 0.823, and SEm of 0.337. After rescaling, the KMO MSA value decreased slightly to 0.86, the reliability also decreased slightly to 0.821, while the SEm increased to 0.406. Eigenvalue analysis showed that both the raw and standardized scores yielded seven factors with Eigenvalues greater than 1. The differences found between these two types of scores, namely 0.01 for KMO MSA, 0.002 for reliability, and -0.069 for SEm, indicate small but significant changes, especially in terms of the increase in SEm after rescaling, which impacts the level of measurement accuracy.

Abstract

Artikel ini mendeskripsikan hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang ditujukan bagi Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI) di Hong Kong, dengan tujuan untuk memperkuat literasi kebijakan pendidikan agar mereka mampu memilih program dan lembaga pendidikan yang sesuai. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui metode workshop, dengan pendekatan pemberdayaan yang diadaptasi dari teori Adi (2008). Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa: (1) PMI merasa puas terhadap pelaksanaan pemberdayaan dari berbagai aspek yang diukur, yaitu respons, partisipasi, pemberdayaan, dampak, dan kesesuaian; dan (2) berdasarkan evaluasi kuantitatif, workshop ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan literasi kebijakan pendidikan para peserta. PMI tidak hanya memahami kebijakan pendidikan Indonesia, tetapi juga mampu mengaplikasikan pemahaman tersebut melalui penyusunan rencana aksi dalam bentuk "sungai kehidupan" sebagai panduan untuk memilih program dan lembaga pendidikan yang sesuai dengan target pendidikan dan karier setelah masa kerja mereka berakhir.

Abstract

Purpose - In an age where technical competence often eclipses moral depth, religious character education in higher education emerges as a vital response to the erosion of empathy, integrity, and social responsibility.  This research aimed to assess the level and dimensions of religious character among moslem students at a state university in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Design/methods/approach - The ex-post facto study involved 468 Muslim students, sampled from a population of 16,802 at a Yogyakarta state university using faculty based cluster sampling. Data were gathered via Likert-scale based questionnaires specifically developed to asses six core dimensions of religious character. Its validity and reliability were rigorously tested using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) yielding a high reliability coefficient (α = 0.95). Finding - This research emphasizes that the religious character of students cannot be reduced to a single aspect, but consists of six interrelated dimensions: cognitive/intellectuality, belief, commitment, ritual,  religious experiences, consequences. Research implications/limitations - This study offers a novel multidimensional framework for character education that can be operasionalized for assesment, curriculum design, and pedagogical intervention across diverse educational context. Originality/value - This research can help in the development of a religious education curriculum in university that is more effective and relevant to the needs of students
