Abstract

This research aims to develop ClassPoint-based interactive learning media in science subjects, especially Solar System material in elementary schools. Media development is carried out using the ASSURE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages. The products that have been developed are then validated by experts in the fields of design, materials and media. Next, trials were carried out in stages through small groups, medium groups and large groups to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the media. The research results show that the use of ClassPoint-based media has a significant positive impact on learning effectiveness. This media is able to increase students' active participation in the learning process through interactive features such as polls, quizzes and direct assessments, which support the creation of two-way interactions between teachers and students. Apart from increasing learning motivation, this media also strengthens students' conceptual understanding of the material being studied. Thus, ClassPoint can be an innovative solution for creating more interesting, interactive and meaningful learning at the basic education level.

Abstract

This research is a development study using the Kemp Instructional Design Model, aimed at creating KineMaster-based learning videos on the topic of Hindu and Buddhist kingdoms for Grade 4 IPAS learning. The development process involved validation from design, material, and media experts, as well as peers. Product testing was conducted in three stages: small, medium, and large group trials. Data were collected using questionnaires to assess aspects such as content clarity, accessibility, and engagement. The results show that KineMaster videos improve student interest and understanding, especially for abstract or difficult topics. The combination of visuals and audio helps make learning more interactive and enjoyable. Additionally, students can access the material anytime, supporting flexible learning. For teachers, KineMaster enables more creative content delivery and offers opportunities for students to participate in creating learning media. However, some challenges remain, such as limited technical skills and the time required to produce high-quality videos. Therefore, training for both teachers and students is important to maximize the benefits of this technology. In conclusion, KineMaster-based videos are a promising tool to enhance learning quality, increase student motivation, and foster creativity in the classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning strategies and learning interest on the learning outcomes of class X students at SMK Negeri 1 Mojoanyar. The method used is an experiment with a post-test control group design. The instruments used are learning outcome tests and learning interest questionnaires. Data were analyzed using ANOVA tests to test for significant differences between groups taught with PBL and Expository Strategy and the effect of learning interest on learning outcomes. The results of the analysis show that PBL is more effective in improving student learning outcomes compared to Expository Strategy, with an F value = 87.568 and a significance of 0.000. In addition, learning interest also has a significant effect on student learning outcomes, with an F value = 9.151 and a significance of 0.003, indicating that students with high learning interest have better learning outcomes. The results of the interaction test show a significant effect between learning strategies and learning interest on learning outcomes, with an F value = 5.463 and a significance of 0.021. The conclusion of this study is that PBL is more effective in improving learning outcomes than Expository Strategies, and learning interest plays a significant role in achieving learning outcomes. The implications of this study are the need to implement PBL in learning and pay attention to student learning interests to design more effective learning. Teachers are expected to adapt learning strategies to student interests to achieve optimal results.

Abstract

In practice, almost all students experience problems in learning of all English skills. In order for the problems that arise to be an option, one factor that needs to be considered is the use of media in the form of dictionaries, both online dictionaries and manual dictionaries as well as measuring students' initial abilities, in order to improve learning results. The aims of this study are: 1) To determine the effect of using online dictionaries and manual dictionaries and initial abilities on English learning outcomes, 2) To determine the differences in English learning outcomes for class XI students between students who have high initial abilities and students who have low initial abilities, 3) To determine the interaction between dictionary use and initial abilities on English learning outcomes. This study used an experimental design method. The samples in this study were 120 students of XI class at SMA Negeri 1. Data collection method that used was test. Data analysis in this study used a two-way Anava test. The results showed that the use of dictionaries and initial skills proved to have an influence on the results of learning English in XI class students of SMA Negeri 1 Kawedanan Magetan. The suggestion from this research is that students are expected to be able to improve their ability in English lessons, especially in understanding a text through the use of dictionary so that it can improve students' skills in English and provide good learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce an e-module for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Menganti acid base material that is interesting and easier for students to understand by using Flip PDF Professional. This research is a development research. The e-module development in this study uses the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. At the analysis stage, an analysis of the curriculum, student characteristics, teaching materials, and materials was carried out. In the design phase, an e-module development design plan is created. The development stage is e-module development, review, expert validation test (media experts, design, materials, and colleagues), and revision. The implementation stage is the implementation of the e-module trial. There are three module trials, namely small, medium and large groups. At the evaluation stage, questionnaires were given to students' responses. The results of chemical e-module validation by design experts, media experts, material experts and colleagues obtained successive percentages of 90%, 85.33%, 90% and 91%, and were declared very valid. The chemical e-module for acid-base materials received very good responses in small, medium and large group trials with percentages of 93%, 92.6% and 90.03%.

Abstract

There are still many learning processes in schools that do not involve students, so students are less creative. There are still many teachers who use the lecture method so that students are passive and not creative, because there is no opportunity to ask questions, discuss with both the teacher and fellow students. The learning process will work well if students are involved in selecting, compiling and participating in learning situations. Problem-based learning models or known as Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Inquiry learning models are very important in supporting interactions between students and teachers, between students and students. The purpose of this study was to find out: (1) the differences in learning outcomes between the use of the PBL learning model and the Inquiry learning model in mathematics, (2) the differences in learning outcomes between high learning motivation and low learning motivation in mathematics, and (3) the interaction between the use of the PBL learning model, the Inquiry learning model and learning motivation on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII MTsN 3 and MTsN 4 Sidoarjo. This experimental research was carried out using a 2x2 factorial design. The subjects in this study were class VIII students consisting of four classes with 120 class VIII students at MTsN 3 and MTsN 4 Sidoarjo. The subjects that became the focus of the experiment were taken classically randomly, namely four MIPA1,2,3,4 classes from MTsN 3 and MTsN 4 Sidoarjo. The research hypothesis was tested using the Analysis of Variant (Anova) statistical test. The results of two-way analysis calculations show that: (1) There is a significant difference between the PBL Learning Model and the Inquiry Learning Model on Mathematics learning outcomes, (2) There is a significant difference between high learning motivation and low learning motivation on Mathematics learning outcomes, and ( 3) There is an interaction between the PBL Learning Model and the Inquiry Learning Model and learning motivation on Mathematics learning outcomes for Class VIII MTSN 3 and MTSN 4 Sidoarjo.
