Abstract

Early study results on the educated participants class XII SMA Negeri 1 Kedungpring through interviews and observations shows that educated participant experience difficulty in understanding solution acids and bases material. It happens because the module used did not fill their different need in study. Survey result shows that the module desired by them is different namely text book, videos, simulations and pictures. This Study aims to develop e- modules based on differentiation in chemistry class XI SMA acids and bases solution material in order to fill the educated participant need in study.Study held at SMA Negeri 1 Kedungpring Lamongan. The Study is development study using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluation). Trial appropriateness product done with validation test by content expert, design expert, media experts and colleague. Furthermore validated E- module was tried out. The trial carried out in two stages namely trials _ group small (6 respondents) and trials group large (30 respondents). Data collection used are validation questionnaire and response questionnaire of educated participant. The data is in form of number then analyzed in a manner descriptive.Analysis results from material expert is 95.4 %, design expert is 92.9%, media experts is 94% and colleague is 96.9%. Based on material expert, design expert, media experts and colleague analysis, the e- module based on differentiation in chemistry class XI SMA acids and bases solution material is in very decent category to use. Trial results at little group is 94.5% meanwhile trials results at big group is 95.4%. Based on yield data trials the e-module based on differentiation in chemistry class XI SMA acids and bases solution material is in very decent category to use.

Abstract

With the development of technology and understanding of how humans learn throughout life that places education as a dynamic and continuous process and involves all aspects of life, learning innovation will be an integral part in improving the education system. Quality education is a learning designed to provide learning experiences to students that not only convey learning facts and concepts, but involves developing skills, attitudes, and building character and values that can support the growth of students as knowledgeable, creative and responsible individuals in society (Habaridota, 2023). In today's digital and technological era, the use of teaching materials is an important part of the learning process to achieve the expected competencies and increase effectiveness and motivation in learning (Wahyudi, 2022) (Novayana et al., 2021). gaps in the use of teaching materials used in the learning process in conventional science subjects so that learning is still monotonous centered on students, then interactive teaching materials are indispensable in helping the involvement of students in the learning process (Puspasari, 2022). Based on the gaps that arise in the learning process, researchers will develop canva-based teaching materials to overcome problems in science subjects related to providing interactive teaching material references that can be used in the learning process to encourage students to optimally involve students in the grade 4 science learning process at SDN Daleman 2 Galis District. In research on the development of Canva-based interactive teaching materials refers to the ADDIE model. Systematically prepared based on the independent curriculum in the grade 4 basic education unit at SDN Daleman 2 Galis District, which is adjusted to the characteristics of the learning material and the characteristics of students.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini menghasilkan permainan berjudul Hanzi Bihua menggunakan prosedur penelitian milik Borg and Gall dengan metode pengembangan produk ADDIE oleh Molenda. Data penelitian pengembangan media ini adalah kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan instrumen angket. Pengembangan media ini telah divalidasi layak oleh ahli desain, ahli materi, dan ahli media. Subjek penelitian adalah 66 peserta didik kelas 2 SD JAC Surabaya yang dibagi dalam tiga kelompok ujicoba: kelompok kecil, sedang, dan besar. Hasil uji coba media pada kelompok kecil dan sedang adalah layak dengan revisi. Sedangkan hasil uji coba kelompok besar adalah layak tanpa revisi. Sehingga media ini dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Kindergarten provides early childhood education for children aged 0-6 years, aiming to develop their cognitive, social, and emotional skills through various educational approaches. This study examines the effect of using educational props, specifically flipbooks, and learning motivation on early reading skills in kindergarten children. A quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design was employed. The study involved two groups of kindergarten students: the experimental group, which used flipbooks, and the control group, which followed a conventional learning model. The results indicated that using flipbooks significantly improved early reading skills compared to the conventional method. Additionally, learning motivation was found to have a significant effect on reading ability. The interaction between using flipbooks and learning motivation demonstrated that their combination significantly enhanced children's reading ability. This study concludes that employing flipbooks and fostering students' learning motivation can improve the early reading skills of kindergarten children. Therefore, integrating flipbook and emphasizing learning motivation can have a significant and positive impact on early reading comprehension skills in kindergarten students, both individually and synergistically.

Abstract

As an effort to align learning at fashion design training centers with industry needs and the huge potential of Instagram reels as an innovative learning medium in the digital era, this research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Instagram Reels as a learning medium for making fashion patterns using zero-waste pattern-cutting techniques at fashion design training centers. Using the Dick and Carey model of research and development (R&D) approach, this research lasted for four months involving three expert validators (material, media, design), three peers, six fashion design training centers, and 49 students at different learning levels. The research results show that teaching materials based on Instagram Reels meet the validity criteria and have a positive response of 88.35% from expert validators and peers. The percentage of product suitability assessments from user/student respondents was 75.9%, indicating that this teaching material is suitable for widespread application in learning. This research contributes to providing an innovative learning approach that increases students' interest, understanding, practical skills, and creativity in mastering the concept of zero-waste pattern-cutting design and providing solutions to challenges in learning fashion design and reducing waste in the fashion industry.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide Hypercontent Development Training for Rich and Renewable Learning Resources. at SMA Negeri 1 Driyorejo, Gresik as a good researcher for teachers. Specifically, this activity aims to Bind Interaction in Learning at SMA Negeri 1 Driyorejo, Gresik smoothly and in accordance with the even semester period of the 2023-2024 academic year. The methods used in this PPM activity include lectures or counseling containing the delivery of information for general and theoretical materials, in this case the material (1) Application of Hypercontent Development Training for Rich and Renewable Learning Resources, (2) Excavation Hypercontent Development Training for Rich and Renewable Learning Resources. The PPM activities that have been implemented have run smoothly in accordance with the expected goals of this program, and have obtained good results. The lecturers who presented received knowledge sharing on how to practice Hypercontent Development Training for Rich and Renewable Learning Resources at SMA Negeri 1 Driyorejo, Gresik. The high school teachers received additional knowledge about Hypercontent Development Training for Learning Resources. The Hypercontent Development Training Program for Learning Resources in addition to receiving positive responses from teachers of SMA Negeri 1 Driyorejo, Gresik, also received responses from supervisors in the Driyorejo District Education Office Branch, Gresik Regency. The training participants hope that the Hypercontent Development Training for Learning Resources can be continued in the future considering the benefits of this program. Furthermore, the institutional cooperation that has been well established between UNIPA Postgraduate School, especially the Department of Educational Technology with the Driyorejo District Education Office Branch, Gresik Regency is expected to continue in the future as part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce an e-module for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Menganti acid base material that is interesting and easier for students to understand by using Flip PDF Professional. This research is a development research. The e-module development in this study uses the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. At the analysis stage, an analysis of the curriculum, student characteristics, teaching materials, and materials was carried out. In the design phase, an e-module development design plan is created. The development stage is e-module development, review, expert validation test (media experts, design, materials, and colleagues), and revision. The implementation stage is the implementation of the e-module trial. There are three module trials, namely small, medium and large groups. At the evaluation stage, questionnaires were given to students' responses. The results of chemical e-module validation by design experts, media experts, material experts and colleagues obtained successive percentages of 90%, 85.33%, 90% and 91%, and were declared very valid. The chemical e-module for acid-base materials received very good responses in small, medium and large group trials with percentages of 93%, 92.6% and 90.03%.

Abstract

There are still many learning processes in schools that do not involve students, so students are less creative. There are still many teachers who use the lecture method so that students are passive and not creative, because there is no opportunity to ask questions, discuss with both the teacher and fellow students. The learning process will work well if students are involved in selecting, compiling and participating in learning situations. Problem-based learning models or known as Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Inquiry learning models are very important in supporting interactions between students and teachers, between students and students. The purpose of this study was to find out: (1) the differences in learning outcomes between the use of the PBL learning model and the Inquiry learning model in mathematics, (2) the differences in learning outcomes between high learning motivation and low learning motivation in mathematics, and (3) the interaction between the use of the PBL learning model, the Inquiry learning model and learning motivation on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII MTsN 3 and MTsN 4 Sidoarjo. This experimental research was carried out using a 2x2 factorial design. The subjects in this study were class VIII students consisting of four classes with 120 class VIII students at MTsN 3 and MTsN 4 Sidoarjo. The subjects that became the focus of the experiment were taken classically randomly, namely four MIPA1,2,3,4 classes from MTsN 3 and MTsN 4 Sidoarjo. The research hypothesis was tested using the Analysis of Variant (Anova) statistical test. The results of two-way analysis calculations show that: (1) There is a significant difference between the PBL Learning Model and the Inquiry Learning Model on Mathematics learning outcomes, (2) There is a significant difference between high learning motivation and low learning motivation on Mathematics learning outcomes, and ( 3) There is an interaction between the PBL Learning Model and the Inquiry Learning Model and learning motivation on Mathematics learning outcomes for Class VIII MTSN 3 and MTSN 4 Sidoarjo.

Abstract

This study focuses on the existence of significant differences in the ability to understand concepts between students who are taught by contextual teaching and learning and cooperative learning methods, there are significant differences in the ability to understand concepts between students who have a concrete sequential thinking style, abstract sequential, concrete random, and abstract randomization, as well as the interaction between learning methods and thinking styles on the ability to understand the concepts of Civics subjects for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 57 and 49 Surabaya. This type of research is experimental research. Quasi-experimental research design using a non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study were class VIII students of SMP Negeri 57 and 49 Surabaya for the 2022/2023 academic year. The research sample used a sampling technique with details of 72 students in the experimental class and 70 students in the control class. The data collection method is to use a student thinking style test instrument and a test of the ability to understand "Strengthening National Commitment." Methods of data analysis using Two Way Anava. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant difference between the treatment of students who are taught using the contextual teaching and learning method compared to the cooperative learning method. There are differences in the ability to understand concepts in students who have concrete sequential, abstract sequential, random concrete, and random abstract thinking styles between groups of students who are treated with the contextual teaching and learning method compared to the cooperative learning method. There is interaction between learning methods and thinking styles on the ability to understand concepts as a result of each different characteristic of each student in terms of their respective thinking styles.

Abstract

Critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills are essential requirements in 21st-century education. Learning activities that integrate the habits of Wondering, Investigating, Synthesizing, and Expressing (WISE) are believed to enhance these skills among higher education students. However, the application of these habits in the learning context in Indonesia remains limited. Therefore, this study aims to develop a WISE-based learning product and evaluate its effectiveness. This study aims to develop and test the feasibility of a product that integrates WISE habits into learning to enhance students' critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The subjects of the study included 50 students from the PGSD and Physical Education programs at Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya. Data were collected through expert evaluations of design, content, media, and instruments, as well as product trials on small, limited, and large groups. Data analysis utilized both quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The results indicate that the WISE-based learning product received excellent evaluations from design, content, and media experts, as well as positive responses from students in all trial groups. WISE activities were proven effective in improving students' critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills. In conclusion, the WISE-based learning product is deemed feasible for use and offers specific advantages, such as high visual appeal and strong relevance to real-world contexts. The application of this product can enhance students' skills in alignment with the demands of 21st-century education.
