Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Hegarmanah Kabupaten Sumedang. Desa Hegarmanah tahun 2011 merupakan desa yang memiliki luas panen padi sawah terluas dibandingkan desa-desa lainnya yaitu seluas 242 hektar, pada tahun 2014 luas sawah menjadi 86,82 hektar dan akan semakin berkurang dari tahun ke tahun akibat dari alih fungsi lahan ke non pertanian. Tujuan Penelitian adalah mengetahui karakteristik usahatani padi di Desa Hegarmanah dan menganalisis tingkat pendapatan dan kontribusi pendapatan usahatani padi terhadap struktur pendapatan petani. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik penelitian study kasus (case study). Rancangan analisis usahatani diperlukan untuk mengetahui besarnya penerimaan petani dan analisis R/C ratio. Hasil penelitian diperoleh 81,25 persen petani menjual sebagian hasil produksinya (semi komersial) dan 25 persen petani menjual hasil usahatani, 18,75 persen petani tidak menjual hasil usahataninya. Petani dengan kuantitas penjualan terbesar hanya mencapai 42 kwintal atau sekitar 75 persen dari keseluruhan hasil produksinya. R/C ratio petani lebih besar dari 1 artinya usahatani padi yang dilakukan menguntungkan. Kontribusi pendapatan usahatani padi terhadap pendapatan total petani sangat bervariasi mulai 12 persen hingga 100 persen, Sebagian petani memang masih menggantungkan hidupnya dari usahatani padi, tambahan penghasilan diperoleh dari peternakan dan tanaman perkebunan, usaha kost-kostan, usaha industri pengolahan, jasa dan perdagangan.

Abstract

Agribisnis mangga gedong gincu tidak terlepas dari adanya resiko di berbagai sumber (agen resiko) seperti resiko produksi, resiko harga/pasar, resiko manusia, resiko finansial dan resiko institusi. Semua sumber resiko tersebut berpotensi mengakibatkan gangguan pada proses produksi di petani hingga keseluruhan proses agribisnis dan pada akhirnya mempengaruhi pendapatan petani mangga gedong gincu di Kecamatan Sedong. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan identifikasi kejadian resiko dan sumber (agen resiko) yang sering terjadi dan berpeluang muncul kembali dan merancang aksi mitigasi untuk meminimalisir resiko tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan model House of Risk (HOR) yang terdiri dari 2 fase. Fase pertama yaitu pengidentifikasian resiko dan agen resiko, yang kemudian dilakukan pengukuran tingkat severity dan occurance serta perhitungan nilai Aggregate Risk Priority (ARP). Fase kedua yaitu penanganan resiko. Setelah dilakukan penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat 20 kejadian resiko dan 12 agen resiko. Terdapat 5 aksi mitigasi yang dapat dilakukan oleh petani dengan harapan mampu meminimalisir resiko pada agribisnis mangga gedong gincu di Kecamatan Sedong

Abstract

Margamulya, Pangalengan is one of coffee producing region with the Java Preanger arabica coffee brand marketed by Margamulya Coffee Producers Cooperative. Java Preanger is sold to domestic and abroad, so then coffee production should be available in large quantities. Productions by somefarmers is low becaused does not do maintenance properly. The purpose of this research is to know the impact of credit on arabica coffee income. This research used inferential quantitative methods. The analysis tested by Independent Sample T-Test. Sampling done by Simple Random Sampling methods. The results state that credit provides a significant difference in arabica coffee income for farmers credit recipients and non-credit recipients because their used for arabica coffee farming and for labor wages.

Abstract

Coffee is one of export commodity which planted in almost all Indonesian area. Pangalengan district is the biggest coffee production center in West Java. Farmer in this district produces, java preanger coffee, arabica coffee with a good quality and an excellent taste. Coffee agribusiness need an institutional support which help farmers to access capital and world markets. Margamulya Coffee Producer Cooperative (MCPC) is one of farmer cooperative with a lot of efforts to market their coffee to the world coffee market. The research purpose is to identify the role of MCPC in java preanger arabica coffee (JPAC) agribusiness and to formulate its growth strategy in order to encourage arabica coffee to reach at world market. The research used descriptive qualitative method with technical case study. Technical data collection is done through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results show that MCPC has an important role in developing JPAC agribusiness in terms of assisting production facilities procurement, guidance and facilitating coffee farming productivity growth, as well as implementing the processing and marketing of coffee. Based on IFAS-EFAS analysis, the position of MCPC is in cell II, namely Growth and Build, which means the development strategy is needed through Intensive and Integration strategy. SWOT analysis represents that there are 10 main strategies will lead the MCPC to compete in the world market of coffee. Therefore, MCPC should improve professionalism in its management, attempt to increase members (coffee farmers) loyalty and build coffee agribusiness integrated with the environmental sustainable agro-tourism development.

Abstract

Coffee is one of the commodities that have opportunities in agricultural development. One of coffee producing region is in Margamulya, Pangalengan, Bandung with the Java Preanger arabica coffee brand marketed by Margamulya Coffee Producers Cooperative. Java Preanger is sold to domestic and abroad. Coffee production should always be available in large quantities to meet market demand. Production coffee by some farmers is low because it does not do maintenance properly. This is due to the capital coinstrat. Margamulya Coffee Producers Cooperative assist the farmers in using capital in a way to access credit. The purpose of research impact of credit on arabica coffee income. This research used inferential quantitative methods. The analysis was tested by Independent Sample T-Test. Sampling was done by doing Simple Random Sampling methods. Abstract

Agribusiness gedong gincu mango can not be separated from the risk in various sources such as production risk, price / market risk, human risk, financial risk and institutional risk. All these sources of risk have the potential to cause disruption to the production process to the entire agribusiness process and ultimately affect the income of the gedong gincu mango farmers in Sedong District. Therefore, it is necessary to identify risk and resource occurrences (risk agents) that are frequent and likely to reappear and designing mitigation actions to minimize those risks. This research using House of Risk model (HOR) which consist of 2 phases. The first phase is the identification of risk and risk agents, which then measured the level of severity and occurance as well as calculating the value of Aggregate Risk Priority (ARP). The second phase of risk management. After the research, there were 20 risk events and 12 risk agents. There are 5 mitigation actions that can be used, in the hope of mitigating the risks on agribusiness gedong gincu in Sedong District.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Hegarmanah Village, Sumedang Regency. The village of Hegarmanah in 2011 is the village that has the widest rice harvest area compared to other villages which is 242 hectares, in 2014 the rice field becomes 86.82 hectares and will decrease from year to year as a result of land conversion to non agriculture. The purpose of this research is to know the characteristics of rice farming in Hegarmanah Village and to analyze income level and contribution of paddy farm income to earnings structure of farmer. The research method used qualitative method with research case study technique (case study). The design of farming analysis is needed to know the size of farmer acceptance and R / C ratio analysis. The results obtained 81.25 percent of farmers sell some of their products (semi-commercial) and 25 percent of farmers sell farming products, 18.75 percent of farmers do not sell the results of farming. Farmers with the largest sales quantity only reached 42 quintals or about 75 percent of the total production. R / C ratio of farmers greater than 1 means that rice farming is profitable. Rice farm income contribution to total farmer income varies from 12 percent to 100 percent. Some farmers are still dependent on rice farming, additional income derived from livestock and plantation crops, kostan kostan business, processing industry, service and trade.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian 1) Mengetahui karakteristik petani dan usahatani mangga gedong gincu 2) Menganalisis aksesibilitas petani mangga gedong gincu terhadap lembaga keuangan formal maupun non-formal 3) Menganalisis potensi dan kendala yang diahadapi petani mangga gedong gincu. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain kualitatif dengan teknik penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis pendapatan dandeskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keuntungan pada out off seasonlebih besar dibandingkan on season walupun RC rasionya sama. Aksesibilitas petani terhadap lembaga keuangan masih rendah, hal ini disebabkan karenaa) tingkat pendidikan petani masih rendah, b) petani tidak mempunyai agunan yang disyaratkan, c) prosedur kredit perbankan sangat rumit bagi petani, dan d) petani takut tidak mampu membayar cicilan. Potensi dan kendala yang mempengaruhi kemampuan petani dalam mengakses lembaga keuangan dibagi menjadi faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal diantaranyausia, pengalaman usahatani, tanggungan keluarga, dan keanggotaan kelompok tani. Faktor eksternal diantaranya pengalaman pinjaman, fasilitator pembiayaan. Adapun kendala internal yang dihadapi petani diantaranya pendidikan rendah, tidak mempunyai agunan, dan kendala eksternal diantaranya prosedur rumit, kurangnya informasi, ketersediaan kebijakan program pemerintah.
