Abstract

Abstrak: Pembelajaran geografi menghasilkan siswa yang mampu berpikir spasial, sehingga dapat memahami lingkungan dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui media Google Earth dengan Problem Based Learning berpengaruh  terhadap kemampuan berpikir spasial siswa SMA. Jenis penelitian yaitu eksperimen semu dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas XA dan XB SMA 1 Selong, Kabupaten Lombok Timur, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan tes dengan instrumen berupa soal kemampuan berpikir spasial. Analisis data menggunakan uji T berbantuan SPSS 24. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media Google Earth dengan Problem Based Learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir spasial siswa. Permasalahan spasial yang disajikan dalam media menggambarkan fenomena secara nyata, sehingga siswa dapat memahami materi dengan baik. Media Google Earth dengan Problem Based Learning mengarahkan siswa untuk memecahkan permasalahan spasial dan melatih siswa kreatif menemukan solusi dari fenomena geosfer, sehingga kemampuan berpikir spasial meningkat. Abstract:  Geography learning produces students who are able to think spatially, so they can understand the environment well. This study aims to determine the Google Earth media with Problem Based Learning affects the spatial thinking ability of high school students. The type of research is a pseudo-experiment with research subjects of XA and XB high school students of SMA 1 Selong, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. The data collection technique used tests with instruments in the form of spatial thinking skills questions. The results of this study concluded that the use of Google Earth media with Problem Based Learning had an effect on students' spatial thinking skills. Spatial problems presented in the media describe real phenomena, so students can understand the material well. Google Earth media with Problem Based Learning directs students to solve spatial problems and trains students to creatively find solutions to geospheric phenomena, so that spatial thinking skills increase.

Abstract

Abstrak: Desa Tambarejo memiliki bentang alam karst yang merupakan hasil dari proses pelarutan batu gamping, dengan ditemui kenampakan endokarst berupa adanya mata air, gua, dan sungai bawah tanah yang menjadi salah satu penciri dari kenampakan bentang alam karst. Tujuan dari kajian ini untuk mengetahui sebaran sumberdaya air di Kawasan karst, khusus nya di Desa Tambakrejo Kabupaten Malang, yang dilakukan secara partisipatif dengan masyarakat dengan melakukan pengenalan dan keterampilan dalam mengakses sumberdaya air tersebut. Metode yang digunakan yaitu identifikasi kenampakan karst dengan melakukan survei lapangan dan tinjauan pustaka penelitian terdahulu. Pendekatan partisipatif digunakan untuk memberikan edukasi, pemberian materi ruang, simulasi, dan praktek ke lapangan untuk dapat mengakses sumberdaya air. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan pada Dusun Tamban hanya di temui kenampakan mata air, kenampakan gua dan sungai bawah tanah tidak Ditemukan. Pada Dusun Sendang Biru ditemukan adanya kenampakan mata air, gua, dan sungai bawah tanah. Kegiatan partisipatif yang melibatkan masyarakat di lakukan dengan memberikan edukasi terkait kenampakan bentang alam karst dan memberikan keterampilan terkait mengakses sumberdaya air yang ada di bawah permukaan dan  memahami kondisi gua yang ada di wilayah kajian, selain itu dapat menenerapkan standar dan keamanan dalam penelusuran gua untuk mengakses sumberdaya air di bawah permukaan. Abstract:  Tambarejo Village has a karst landscape which is the result of the process of dissolving limestone, with endokarst appearances in the form of springs, caves and underground rivers which are one of the characteristics of the appearance of karst landscapes. The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution of water resources in the karst area, especially in Tambakrejo Village, Malang Regency, which was carried out in a participatory manner with the community by conducting introductions and skills in accessing these water resources. The method used is the identification of karst features by conducting field surveys and reviewing the literature of previous research. Participatory approaches are used to provide education, provide space materials, simulations, and practice in the field to be able to access water resources. The results obtained show that in Tamban Hamlet only found the appearance of springs, the appearance of caves and underground rivers were not found. In Sendang Biru Hamlet, it was found that there were springs, caves, and underground rivers. Participatory activities involving the community are carried out by providing education related to the appearance of karst landscapes and providing skills related to accessing subsurface water resources and understanding the conditions of the caves in the study area, in addition to applying standards and safety in exploring caves to access water resources below the surface

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa yang tidak merata pada setiap siswa serta pembelajaran yang bersifat pasif pada materi konservasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Virtual Field Trip (VFT) di Clungup Mangrove Conservation (CMC) yang mendukung pemahaman materi konservasi dan mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) dengan instrumen berupa wawancara, angket kebutuhan siswa, lembar validasi ahli, angket respons siswa, dan asesmen kemampuan berpikir kritis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui analisis kebutuhan, validasi ahli, uji coba media, dan asesmen siswa dengan analisis data menggunakan skala likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media VFT memiliki tingkat validitas sangat tinggi (93%), respons positif siswa sebesar 91.6%, skor kemampuan berpikir kritis rata-rata 81% (kategori tinggi) dan 94% siswa mencapai KKTP yang menunjukkan bahwa media ini membantu siswa dalam berbagai aspek berpikir kritis, seperti conveying simple explanations , forming basic skills, inferring, elaborating further explanations, dan organising tactics and strategies. Media VFT efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, mendukung pemahaman konsep konservasi, dan menjadi alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran geografi.   Abstract:  This research is backgrounded by the problem of students' critical thinking skills that are uneven in each student and passive learning on conservation material. This research aims to develop Virtual Field Trip (VFT) learning media at Clungup Mangrove Conservation (CMC) that supports the understanding of conservation materials and measures students' critical thinking skills. This research uses the 4D development method (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) with instruments in the form of interviews, student needs questionnaires, expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and critical thinking skills assessments. Data collection was carried out through needs analysis, expert validation, media trials, and student assessments with data analysis using a Likert scale. The results showed that the VFT media had a very high level of validity (93%), a positive student response of 91.6%, an average critical thinking ability score of 81% (high category) and 94% of students achieved KKTP which indicated that this media helped students in various aspects of critical thinking, such as conveying simple explanations, forming basic skills, inferring, elaborating further explanations, and organising tactics and strategies. VFT media is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills, supporting the understanding of conservation concepts, and being an innovative alternative in geography learning.
