Abstract

Abstrak Secara umum, peta diartikan sebagai gambaran konvensional dari pola bumi yang digambarkan seolah-olah dilihat dari atas melalui satu bidang proyeksi dengan dilengkapi tulisan-tulisan untuk identifikasinya. Pemetaan merupakan suatu tahap mengungkapkan data muka bumi yang berupa realitas, dunia nyata, baik bentuk permukaan maupun kekayaan alamnya, berdasarkan ukuran peta, sistem proyeksi peta, dan simbol-simbol yang menggambarkan unsur muka bumi yang diungkapkan. Metode dalam penulisan artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan model deskriptif-eksplanatif yang bermaksud memberikan gambaran mendetail terkait program kerja pembuatan peta desa. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk menyajikan informasi secara visual berupa peta topografi mengenai batas-batas wilayah di Desa Tanjung Pandan agar para masyarakat maupun pendatang dapat mengetahui kondisi geografisnya seperti lahan perkebunan atau lahan pertanian, jalan, dan lainnya. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah peta topografi Desa Tanjung Pandan dalam skala 1:5000 dengan luas wilayah sekitar 343,633 Ha. Abstract In general, a map is defined as a conventional depiction of the pattern of the earth that is depicted as if viewed from above through a projection plane with writings for identification. Mapping is a stage of revealing earth surface data in the form of reality, the real world, both surface shapes and natural wealth, based on map size, map projection systems, and symbols that describe the elements of the earth face revealed. The method in writing this article uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-explanatory model that intends to provide a detailed picture related to the work program of making village maps. The purpose of writing this article is to present visual information in the form of topographic maps about the boundaries of the area in Tanjung Pandan Village so that people and migrants can know the geographical conditions such as plantation land or agricultural land, roads, and others. The result obtained is a topographic map of Tanjung Pandan Village on a scale of 1:5000 with an area of about 343,633 Ha.

Abstract

Sains menjadi ilmu pengetahuan yang selalu dapat kita jumpai dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sains saat ini menjadi hal yang sangat penting untuk dikenalkan pada anak-anak usia dini karena sains dapat mengajak anak untuk berpikir kritis, sehingga dengan sains, anak tidak begitu saja menerima dan menolak sesuatu. Tim MBKM Membangun Desa mencoba melakukan kegiatan edukasi sains yang dikemas secara menyenangkan dan mengacu pada pembelajaran anak usia dini yang dilakukan sambil bermain karena dunia anak adalah dunia bermain. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi sains sebagai upaya peningkatan keterampilan anak-anak dan menganalisis ketertarikan anak-anak berdasarkan pendekatan keterampilan sains. Dengan adanya kegiatan edukasi sains ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan rasa ingin tahu, semangat kerja sama, dan keterampilan anak-anak di Desa Rejomulyo khususnya di TK Dharma Wanita. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan membuat target capaian untuk mengukur tingkat keberhasilan kegiatan. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan ini, 86% siswa memahami materi yang diberikan dan menyukai metode pengajaran yang digunakan.

Abstract

A study on the adsorption characteristic of Iron onto Poly[eugenol-co-(divinyl benzene)] (EDVB) from aqueous solution has been conducted. EDVB was produced and characterized by using FTIR spectroscopy. The adsorption was studied by a batch method by considering the factors affecting the adsorption such as initial metal ion concentration, adsorption selectivity, and mechanism of adsorption using a sequential desorption method. The adsorption of Iron onto EDVB followed a pseudo-2 order kinetics model with the rate constant of 0,144 L2 mmol-1 min-1. The adsorption isotherm was studied with Tempkin, Langmuir and Freundlich models. The adsorption capacity (Qmax) obtained by Langmuir isotherms was 250mg.L-1 while the equilibrium value was 0.8 Lmg-1. A competitive adsorption study showed that EDVB is adsorbed selectively towards Iron rather than Chromium, Coppers and Cadmium ions. Abstract

Teknik ekstraksi fase padat (solid phase extraction, SPE) telah banyak menggantikan ekstraksi cair-cair karena sifatnya yang lebih ramah lingkungan dengan menggunakan volume pelarut lebih sedikit, waktu yang cepat dan proses yang mudah.  Namun demikian, selama ini adsorben  yang umum digunakan pada SPE adalah silika atau polimer dari bahan kimia yang memerlukan teknologi tinggi sehingga harga SPE di pasaran relatif masih mahal untuk digunakan di laboratorium yang ada di Indonesia.  Oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini dipelajari pemanfaatan karbon aktif sekam padi untuk penentuan salah satu senyawa polisiklik aromatik hidrokarbon (PAH), yaitu fenantrena.  Limbah sekam padi diketahui dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi karbon aktif sebagai alternatif adsorben unggulan dari limbah pertanian yang terbarukan, murah dan melimpah di Indonesia termasuk di Lampung. Faktor yang mempengaruhi ekstraksi SPE seperti waktu ekstraksi, massa adsorben, konsentrasi  adsorbat dan pH akan dievaluasi.  Uji kinerja metode SPE untuk penentuan PAH akan ditentukan berdasarkan parameter akurasi, presisi dan linearitas.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kondisi optimum untuk waktu ekstraksi adalah 60 menit, massa konsentrasi adsorbat 10 ppm, massa adsorben 25 mg pada pH 3. Hasil uji kinerja analitik menggunakan parameter akurasi, presisi, dan linearitas telah memenuhi syarat keberterimaan yang menunjukkan bahwa metode SPE sebagai preparasi sampel untuk menentukan fenantrena di perairan dapat digunakan.

Abstract

The rise of construction projects and population growth, followed by the expansion of industry and any other sectors such as housing estate, offices, and transportation, can lead to not only economic growth but also negative impacts such as air pollution, including nitrogen dioxide (NO2) pollutants. According to KEP-45/MENLH/10/1997, air pollution can be determined by The Pollutant Standards Index (PSI). The statistical analysis result employing the multivariate ANOVA test with the Anderson-Darling method showed the impact of NO2 concentrations on four location points over two years. Meanwhile, the data result of PSI revealed a high level of ambient air NO2 in Lampung Barat Regency, particularly at the monitoring point of offices. On the other hand, in Way Kanan Regency, the level of ambient air NO2 tends to be safe and secure at the monitoring point of industry and transportation. The factor of sampling location and technique (stage 1: dry season, stage 2: rainy season) did not give a significant effect on the NO2 level due to a p-value ≥ 0,05. However, the sampling point (of monitoring) influenced the NO2 level for p-value ≤ 0,05 in Lampung Barat and Way Kanan Regency in 2019-2020 which was still claimed as safe and secure based on PP No. 41 in the Year 1999, which sets the required limit at 100 g/m3.

Abstract

A recovery study of phenol with Polymer Inclusion Membranes (PIMs) needs to be evaluated to determine values of transport kinetic parameter, level of stability, and selectivity of the membrane. This paper describes results of the evaluation of phenol transport using PIMs with polyeugenol as a carrier. PIMs were made by mixing polyeugenol, dibenzylether, and polyvinylchloride in a solvent (tetrahydrofuran) then printed in a container with diameter 4.5 cm and allowed to vaporize for 72 hours. Further evaluation studies are conducted at pH 4.5 with various parameters, among of them are various times that were taken to identify parameters of the transport kinetics of phenol, membrane stability, characterization, and testing of membrane selectivity by comparing transport of phenol with another compound, in this study chromium is used. This study results in calculation of values of transport kinetics of membrane permeability obtained at 8.8 x 10-5 m/s, flux value of 9.512 x 10-4 g/m2s, and diffusion coefficient of 3.826 x 10-11 m2/s. Repeating use over three times, 48 hours, indicates reduction in power of phenol transport by 70.81%. While selectivity test indicates that membrane is used more selectively against phenol than chromium metal. Based on study results, phenol transport effectiveness using PIM with polyeugenol as carrier is 91.4% in optimum condition.

Abstract

The mentoring activity for making dishwashing soap with betel leaf extract in Gebang Village aims to increase the independence and welfare of the local community, especially for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This program is implemented as an effort to optimize local natural potential, especially betel leaf plants which are known to have antibacterial and natural cleaning properties. This activity involves several stages, starting from education about the benefits of betel leaves, technical training in making soap, to mentoring in aspects of product packaging and marketing.The method used includes a participatory approach, where the community is invited to be actively involved in every process, so that a sustainable transfer of knowledge and skills is created. The results of this activity show that the community is able to produce effective, environmentally friendly dishwashing soap that is competitive in the local market. In addition, participants are also given training on simple business management, including bookkeeping, determining selling prices, and marketing strategies.This mentoring has a positive impact on increasing the capacity of individuals and the village economy, especially in creating local superior products with high selling value. It is hoped that with these new skills, the community can improve their standard of living and make making dishwashing soap one of the sustainable businesses in the village.

Abstract

Desa Sidodadi merupakan salah satu desa yang memiliki visi untuk mewujudkan desa yang sehat dan mandiri. Salah satu bentuk kesejahteraan dan kemandirian yang diusahakan adalah tumbuh kembangnya beberapa kelompok kegiatan usaha yang  terbingkai dalam kegiatan Home Industri (industri rumah tangga). Pembuatan produk sabun cair cuci piring merupakan salah satu produk yang berpotensi dijadikan sebagai kegiatan Home Industri. kegiatan ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendampingi mitra menghasilkan produk yang lebih berkualitas dan kompetitif di pasaran. Melalui beberapa tahapan dimulai dengan tahap sosialisasi dan pendampingan, kemudian dilanjut dengan tahap monitoring dan evaluasi diperoleh hasil yang menunjukkan bahwa program ini berhasil memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan bagi warga dan UMKM setempat. Melalui pendampingan yang komprehensif, warga desa memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan baru dalam memilih bahan baku yang berkualitas serta teknik produksi yang lebih efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

Gravimetry is a simple and fast method used to determine the weight percentage of alkaloid content in natural samples when analyzing compound content. Gravimetry is a basic knowledge and skills in analytical chemistry. A student-centered learning approach is needed to acquire integrated chemical laboratory knowledge and skills. Integrated learning outcomes between knowledge and skills can be achieved, one of which is through project-based learning (PjBL). One of the things we report in this article is the development of a practical module based on PjBL. This article reported the research and development (RnD) of a project-based practical module on gravimetric analysis using the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) stages to obtain a valid and reliable practical module. The module's validation was analyzed using content validity with the FGD technique through the assessment of five experts. Validity data analysis used Aiken's and Cronbach's alpha for reliability. This article also reports the results of observations of the PjBL practicum of gravimetric alkaloid analysis by 18 students regarding the clarity of the practicum objectives, content, instructions, and ease of the module in guiding the practicum in the Laboratory. By using the ADDIE development steps, we produced a PjBL practicum module with the validity of the Aiken analysis results showing an index of 0.92, indicating that the module developed was valid, had a reliability of 0.78, and had a practicality percentage of 89.77%. The developed PjBL teaching module has also increased students' motivation and basic chemistry laboratory skills when conducting gravimetric analysis practicum.

Abstract

Eco enzyme merupakan produk pengolahan limbah rumah tangga yang berasal dari sisa sayuran atau buah-buahan. Eco enzyme dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan aktif untuk membuat produk kebersihan rumah tangga diantaranya detergen cair ramah lingkungan. Pembuatan detergen cair berbasis eco enzym memiliki peluang untuk dijadikan sebagai kegiatan home industry. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pelatihan kepada kelompok PKK Desa Rejomulyo dalam pembuatan detergen cair ramah lingkungan dengan bahan aktif eco enzyme. Tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan terdiri dari ceramah, tanya jawab serta pelatihan pembuatan detergen cair. Hasil kegiatan diperoleh produk detergen cair ramah lingkungan yang dapat dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat di Desa Rejomulyo. Detergen cair ramah lungkungan yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi nilai tambah bagi anggota PKK untuk mengembangkan produk usaha ekonomi kreatif berbasis home industry. Hasil akhir dari pengabdian ini adalah terwujudnya usaha industri rumah tangga berbasis eco enzyme dan diperolehnya variasi produk kebersihan rumah tangga dari PKK Desa Rejomulyo.
