Abstract

This research aims to develop digital comics media to increase students’ cultural and citizenship literacy based on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). This research used the design and development research method with the ADDIE model, which includes five research stages: design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Participants in this research were material experts, media experts, learning experts, and fourth-grade elementary school students. Data collection techniques were carried out using expert validation and tests. Data was analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The expert validation results from the three experts are categorized as excellent. The N-Gain result of students' cultural literacy and citizenship is 0.75 in the high category. The digital comic media developed was feasible and could be used by educators and students as a learning medium for cultural diversity material to increase cultural literacy and citizenship for Elementary School students.

Abstract

Kebijakan Merdeka Belajar merupakan salah satu program strategis pemerintah dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan nasional melalui penguatan otonomi lembaga pendidikan, fleksibilitas kurikulum, dan penekanan pada capaian kompetensi peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi kebijakan Merdeka Belajar dari perspektif manajemen pendidikan dalam kerangka sistem pemerintahan terpadu (Integrated Government System). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur dan analisis kebijakan publik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan Merdeka Belajar sejalan dengan prinsip manajemen pendidikan modern yang menekankan desentralisasi, efisiensi, dan akuntabilitas. Namun, tantangan masih muncul dalam aspek koordinasi antarlembaga pemerintah, sinkronisasi regulasi, serta kesiapan sumber daya manusia dan infrastruktur digital. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya integrasi sistem pemerintahan berbasis elektronik (SPBE) dalam mendukung tata kelola kebijakan pendidikan yang efektif, transparan, dan adaptif terhadap perubahan.

Abstract

Background: This community service activity was carried out to address the problems faced by students in improving their English proficiency. Method: To solve these problems, the service team conducted a training/workshop by utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI), namely ChatGPT. The activity began with a pre-workshop survey distributed to 45 students of SMK Terpadu Al-Islahiyah Singosari, majoring in Office Management, to identify their problems and confidence level. It was followed by the Implementation and Evaluation Stages through a post-training survey and interviews with the English teacher. Results: Data analysis showed that students experienced difficulties in learning English due to limited vocabulary, pronunciation challenges, and lack of confidence. In addition, their confidence level increased from mostly fairly confident to highly confident. The English teacher also gave a positive perception of the implementation of ChatGPT while reminding the need to anticipate its potential negative impacts. Conclusion: Based on these findings, it can be concluded that AI plays an important role in language learning through the active role of teachers in monitoring, so that technology can be utilized properly and responsibly.

Abstract

Abstract This action research focuses on how the integration of Students Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) and Authentic Materials (AMs) can improve students’ listening skill. The researchers believed that STAD and AMs help students to understand spoken English easily. Moreover, STAD allows the students to work cooperatively before they do the test individually, and AMs provide rich context materials. The research was conducted to the students of second semester English Department, University of Islam Malang and was carried out in two cycles. In the first cycle, only 46% of the students achieved the criteria of success, and in the second cycle, the result showed that the 71% of the students scored ≥75. Abstract

Fine motor skills refer to the coordinated movements of small muscles, particularly in the fingers and wrists, requiring precise eye–hand coordination. Based on Initial observations conducted in April 2025 at POS PAUD Mawar 2 revealed that many children aged 5-6 had difficulty, in Kamojing Village, it was found that many children aged 5-6 had difficulty performing activities that required fine motor skills, performing activities that require fine motor skills. Mastery of these skills supports children’s creativity and independence in daily activities. One effective medium to develop fine motor abilities is the busy book, which provides hands-on, interactive learning experiences. This study aimed to examine the improvement of fine motor skills using busy books among 5–6-year-old children in Class B at POS PAUD Mawar 2 Kamojing. The research involved 14 participants and employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design implemented over two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through structured observation, documentation, and interviews. The findings revealed substantial progress in children’s fine motor development. Initially, no children were classified as Very Well Developed (BSB) or Well Developed as Expected (BSH), with 28.57% in the Developing (MB) category and 71.43% in Not Yet Developed (BB). By the end of Cycle I, the distribution shifted to 14.29% BSB, 28.57% BSH, and 57.14% MB. In Cycle II, 85.71% of children achieved BSB and 14.29% BSH, with no children remaining in the MB or BB categories. Notable improvements were observed in buttoning clothes, opening, and closing bottle caps, and precisely pinching pompoms. These results demonstrate that the busy book is an effective and engaging tool for enhancing fine motor skills in early childhood education settings.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research explores how the incorporation of a gamified learning platform influenced students’ ability to understand written Eleventh Grade Students in SMAN 3 Malang. Framed by principles of intrinsic motivation and ongoing assessment, the initial cycle combined traditional evaluative tasks, structured observations of classroom interactions, and a survey capturing learners’ attitudes toward the intervention. Findings revealed a notable improvement in overall reading performance, with learners demonstrating greater accuracy on platform-based quizzes. Classroom dynamics shifted positively: students were more consistently engaged in learning activities and maintained a quieter, more focused environment. Survey responses indicated that participants experienced a stronger sense of choice in their learning, felt more capable when tackling tasks, and enjoyed closer connections with peers and their instructor. Subsequent cycles will seek to enhance collaborative structures and tailor quiz challenges to better suit diverse proficiency levels.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang menimpa dunia termasuk Indonesia dan tak terkecuali Desa Sambongrejo Kecamatan Gondang Kabupaten Bojonegoro menjadikan masyarakatnya berinovasi dan berfikir seperti yang dilakukan Kelompok Tani Wanita (KTW) Srikandi untuk menciptakan sebuah inovasi olahan dari limbah yaitu pengelolahan pupuk organik dan biogas dari kotoran hewan (sapi). Demikian juga permasalahan yang dihadapi para petani mengalami kesulitan membeli pupuk dikarenakan harga yang tinggi dan langka.  Jadi langkah yang dilakukan untuk mengurangi permasalahan yang ada para petani di Desa Sambongrejo Kecamatan Gondang yakni membuat pupuk organik. Dengan adanya pupuk organik sangat membantu kesuburan tanah, tanaman dan bahkan meringankan para petani serta membantu perekonomian. Kelompok Tani Wanita Srikandi ini merupakan sebuah komunitas perkumpulan kelompok tani yang mempunyai semangat tinggi untuk mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki dan juga untuk memberdayakan sumber daya yang tersedia di daerah tersebut. Sehingga dengan demikian upaya tersebut diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan juga mengentaskan kemiskinan dapat memajukan Desa Sambongrejo itu sendiri. Pemberdayaan kotoran ternak sapi menjadi pupuk organik dan biogas ini merupakan inovasi baru dari para srikandi dengan harapan dapat memanfaatkan limbah pertanian dan peternakan yang jumlahnya sangat melimpah dan dapat digunakan sebagai bahan bakar alternatif serta media tanam budidaya tanaman hias bahkan sebagai pupuk lahan pertanian mereka.  Kotoran sapi yang diolah menjadi energi alternatif biogas merupakan cara yang menguntungkan dan ramah lingkungan karena dengan pengelolaan tersebut dapat memanfaatkan alam tanpa merusaknya. Kegiatan pemberdayaan Kelompok Tani Wanita di Desa Gondang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode ABCD (Asset Based Community Development).  Yang mana dalam metode ini berupaya untuk mengembangkan suatu asset atau potensi yang telah ada atau yang telah dimiliki oleh suatu daerah.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak lingkungan dengan bau busuk terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat di Wilayah TPSS Cipayung Kota Depok. Metode Kegiatan Pengabdian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara terhadap sejumlah responden. Hasil Kegiatan Pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa bau busuk yang terkait dengan lingkungan di Wilayah TPSS Cipayung Kota Depok memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat. Pertama, ditemukan bahwa bau busuk tersebut menyebabkan gangguan kesehatan, seperti iritasi pada saluran pernapasan dan gangguan pencernaan. Hal ini berdampak pada kualitas hidup dan kesejahteraan fisik masyarakat. Kedua, kehadiran bau yang tidak sedap menciptakan penurunan kualitas hidup, mengganggu kenyamanan sehari-hari, suasana hati, kualitas tidur, dan interaksi sosial masyarakat. Hal ini berpotensi mengurangi tingkat kesejahteraan mereka secara keseluruhan. Ketiga, dampak bau busuk juga berkontribusi pada stigmatisasi dan diskriminasi terhadap masyarakat. Responden melaporkan adanya perasaan malu dan perlakuan rendah dari orang lain karena asosiasi bau busuk dengan kondisi lingkungan mereka. Stigmatisasi dan diskriminasi ini dapat mempengaruhi harga diri dan kesejahteraan psikologis masyarakat. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya tindakan untuk meningkatkan pengawasan dan pengendalian bau busuk serta perlunya upaya dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan. Diharapkan langkah-langkah ini dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan kesejahteraan masyarakat di Wilayah TPSS Cipayung Kota Depok.

Abstract

Anak usia dini memiliki imajinasi yang sangat kuat, namun seringkali terbatas karena media pembelajaran yang digunakan masih konvensional dan kurang memfasilitasi interaksi digital. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengimplementasikan media flash card berbasis augmented reality (AR) dalam menumbuhkan imajinasi anak di PAUD Mekar Sejahtera. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyuluhan, pelatihan, workshop, serta pendampingan yang melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa melalui program KKN. Mitra kegiatan adalah PAUD Mekar Sejahtera yang berlokasi di Karawang dengan jumlah peserta 32 anak dan 1 guru pendamping. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa media flash card berbasis AR mampu meningkatkan motivasi dan imajinasi anak sebesar 40% dibandingkan kondisi awal. Di sisi lain, keterampilan guru dalam mendesain media digital melalui Canva meningkat hingga 70%, serta softskill berupa kolaborasi, komunikasi, dan kreativitas juga mengalami peningkatan. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya memberikan dampak positif pada perkembangan anak, tetapi juga memperkuat kompetensi guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk pembelajaran inovatif.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the symbolic thinking ability of 5–6 year-old children in recognizing letter symbols through the use of magnetic board media at Pos PAUD Arrahman, Pedes District. The subjects were 12 children in group B, consisting of 7 girls and 5 boys. The study applied Classroom Action Research (CAR) in two cycles, each involving planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results showed that in the pre-cycle stage, most children were in the Beginning to Develop category (33%) and Not Yet Developed category (42%). Children generally recognized letters verbally but struggled to identify letter symbols accurately, highlighting the need for concrete learning experiences. In Cycle I, improvements were noted with 50% of children in the Beginning to Develop category and 34% in the Developing as Expected category, though some still had difficulty distinguishing vowels and consonants. In Cycle II, the use of magnetic board media produced significant progress. Most children reached the Developing as Expected (42%) and Very Well-Developed (42%) categories, with a total of 84% surpassing the 75% success indicator. Children were able to recognize letter symbols accurately, relate them to their sounds, and apply this knowledge in learning. These findings demonstrate that magnetic board media is an effective concrete learning tool to enhance symbolic thinking in early childhood. Its interactive and play-based nature suits children’s cognitive development in the preoperational stage and provides multisensory experiences that strengthen symbolic understanding as a foundation for literacy.
