Abstract

This study developed and tested an integrative learning model to improve the critical reading skills of high school students in Kediri City through a deep learning approach, authentic digital texts, and literacy debates based on educational websites. Using a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group, it involved 240 eleventh-grade students from eight high schools in three subdistricts. The t-test confirmed a significant difference (p < 0.001). This model effectively improves the ability to analyze, evaluate, and synthesize information, supporting 21st-century literacy, the “Merdeka Belajar” (Freedom of Learning) vision, and SDG 4 on quality education. This research provides an empirical solution to the low level of critical literacy in Indonesia and has the potential to become a reference for education policies that are responsive to global challenges.

Abstract

This community service programme aims to improve the writing skills of elementary school students through the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital literacy. The method of implementing this activity uses training with the target, namely teachers at SDN Kampungdalem 1 Tulungagung, East Java. The evaluation instrument uses observation sheets and questionnaires which are then analyzed descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of this service showed that teacher competence and student writing skills improved through integrating AI and digital literacy in writing learning, as shown by an increase in the average writing score from 65.5 to 84.2. In addition, the success of this activity is supported by a holistic approach that combines teacher training, implementation assistance, and continuous evaluation.

Abstract

Sufistic expressions in poetry can be presented in various forms, including through pantun and poetry. These two forms in Sufi poetry are used as a means of accommodating Sufi ideas that describe the spiritual journey. The aim of this research is to find out the Sufistic expressions in the form of pantun and poetry in the poetry of Abdul Hadi W.M. This research uses a qualitative approach with the researcher as the main instrument. The data source for this research is the poetry of Abdul Hadi W.M. entitled: 1) “Madura”, Untuk Sebuah Catatan Harian, “Sajak-sajak Kelahiran”, “Jayakatwang”, and “Syair Berdua”. Meanwhile, the data for this research are poetry quotations that are in accordance with the research focus. Data collection using documentation techniques and data analysis techniques using descriptive and content analysis techniques. From the discussion it can be concluded that the Sufistic expression in the form of the sampiran pantun is used to describe nature which depicts peace of mind and the content part is to describe the actual state of a Sufi’s peace of mind. The poetry form is used as a means to describe the differences in the spiritual journey of mature saliks and those who are still learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendiskripsikan konflik batin tokoh yang terdapat dalam novel Rasa Karya Tere Liye menggunakan kajian psikologi sastra. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif bersifat deskriptif. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa teks novel yang memuat konflik batin dalam novel Rasa Karya Tere Liye. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan metode observasi, studi pustaka, teknik catat, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Tahapanya adalah mengidentifikasikan, menganalisis, dan mendiskripsikan konflik batin pada novel Rasa Karya Tere Liye menggunakan kajian psikologi sastra. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, konflik batin para tokoh dapat dijelaskan sebagai berikut. Pertama, bentuk konflik batin beberapa tokoh dianalisis menggunakan kajian psikologi sastra, meliputi rasa kecewa, rasa marah, rasa malu, rasa kesal, rasa bahagia, rasa sedih, dan rasa berharap. Kedua penyebab konflik batin pada tokoh Linda, Putri, Joan, Aurel, dan Bunda berupa, agresi, kehilangan, kepribadian, kognitif, dan ketidakberdayaan.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aspek moral dalam film animasi Battle of Surabaya karya Aryanto Yuniawan. Film animasi ini memiliki latar belakang peristiwa 10 November atau dikenal sebagai Pertempuran Surabaya, yang banyak memuat nilai-nilai moral agar bisa dijadikan sebagai landasan generasi muda dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif, dengan objek kajian film animasi Battle of Surabaya karya Aryanto Yuniawan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode pengamatan terhadap film animasi Battle of Surabaya dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan dokumen berupa hasil translitasi teks berupa potongan dialog dan narasi, serta didukung dengan gambar-gambar tangkapan layar dari film animasi, dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat tiga jenis nilai moral dalam film animasi Battle of Surabaya, yaitu yang mencakup taat beribadah, mendoakan orang lain, dan selalu bersyukur; nilai moral budi pekerti yang mencakup saling tolong menolong, tanggung jawab, pantang menyerah, dan menepati janji; serta nilai moral kemanusiaan yang mencakup toleransi, peduli dengan orang lain, dan menjunjung tinggi gotong royong. Kata kunci: nilai moral, film, animasi Abstract This research aims to describe the moral aspects in the animated film Battle of Surabaya by Aryanto Yuniawan. This animated film has the background of the events of November 10 or known as the Battle of Surabaya, which contains many moral values so that it can be used as a foundation for the younger generation in social life. This research is a type of qualitative research, with the object of study of the animated film Battle of Surabaya by Aryanto Yuniawan. The research method used in this study is to use the observation method of the Battle of Surabaya animated film and data collection techniques with documents in the form of text translation results in the form of dialog and narration pieces, and supported by screenshot images from animated films, using a literary sociology approach. The results show that there are three types of moral values in the Battle of Surabaya animated film, which include obeying worship, praying for others, and always being grateful; moral values of character that include helping each other, responsibility, never giving up, and keeping promises; and moral values of humanity that include tolerance, caring for others, and upholding mutual cooperation..

Abstract

Penelitian memiliki tujuan untuk meneliti pengaruh model pembelajaran picture and picture terhadap keterampilan menulis teks berita siswa kelas XI di SMAN 3 Kediri. Riset ini mengadopsi pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimental. Desain penelitian ini dirancang untuk membandingkan dua kelompok pembelajaran, dimana kelompok eksperimen diberikan perlakukan melalui implementasi model picture and picture, sedangkan kelompok kontrol mengikuti proses pembelajaran dengan model jigsaw. Data diperoleh melalui tes keterampilan menulis dan kemudian dianalisis dengan metode statistika deskriptif dan inferensial. Temuan mengindikasikan peningkatan yang signifikan pada keterampilan menulis kelompok eksperimen, dengan rata-rata nilai 79,19 yang melebihi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) sebesar 75. Sementara itu, rata-rata nilai kelompok kontrol hanya mencapai 66,58. Data dari kedua kelompok terdistribusi normal dan homogen, dengan nilai signifikansi di atas 0,05, menegaskan bahwa variasi antar kelompok tidak signifikan. Pada hasil nilai signifikansi t-test (0,000) mengindikasikan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara capaian hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Temuan ini menjadi bukti valid bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran picture and picture membuahkan hasil positif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan menulis siswa. Hasil tersebut menegaskan pentingnya pemilihan pembelajaran yang inovatif untuk mendukung perkembangan kemampuan siswa dalam berkomunikasi dan mengekspresikan ide secara efektif dalam bentuk tulisan di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Cakranegara Health Center is one of the health centers in the city of Mataram. This health center serves both inpatients and outpatients, each service institution has different services to patients. This study uses quantitative research methods with a total of 97 respondents. The results of the analysis as many as 10 patients said the employee performance was of poor quality or 10.3%, while 52 patients said that the employee's performance was of high quality or could be percentage to 53.6%, and the patients who said that the employee's performance was very high quality were 35 patients or 36.1%. The sample in this study was 97 respondents at the Cakranegara Health Center, the value of the respondents' answers to employee performance on patient satisfaction from 18 questions listed on the questionnaire distributed to 97 respondents. The results obtained, namely the value = 0.076, which means that it is smaller than 0.05, this indicates that there is a relationship between the performance of the employee at the registration counter and patient satisfaction at the Cakranegara Health Center. From the results of the p value (Sig) = 0.000 <0.05 (significant). This means that there is a significant relationship between the performance of employees at the registration counter and patient satisfaction at the Cakranegara Health Center in 2021. Performance is everything that a person does and the results in carrying out the function of a job. The results of quantitative analysis research at the Cakranegara Health Center found that there were still unsatisfactory services to patients in registration services at the Cakranegara Health Center. Patient satisfaction can be seen from the services provided by the registration counter employees, where the perception of patients who feel that employee performance is less qualified is 100% less. satisfied 50%, satisfied 40%, and very satisfied 10%. And it is recommended for further researchers to specifically examine the performance of services provided by employees at the registration counter.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the completeness of medical record files on the quality of outpatient health services at the Rensing Health Center in 2022. This study used an analytical observational method with a sample of 81 respondents, the statistical test used was Kendall's Tau to determine the effect of completeness of medical record files with quality of outpatient care. The results of this study found the number of incomplete medical record files was 13.6%, incomplete medical record files were found to be 19.7%, and complete medical record files were 66.7%. The quality of service for patients with low quality was found to be 18.5%, quality service was 50.%, and very quality service was 30.9%. The results of the Statistical Test with the Kendall's Tau Test obtained a probability value / p value / Approx Sig = 0.001 < 0.05 (Significant). Because the results are significant, it means that there is an effect of the completeness of the medical record file on the quality of outpatient health services at the Rensing Health Center in 2022.

Abstract

This research discusses the hate speech delivered by the chairman of BEM UGM against President Joko Widodo, uploaded on social media. This research uses a forensic linguistic approach to examine the forms of hate speech by the BEM UGM chairman against President Joko Widodo. The urgency lies in understanding the impact of hate speech on social media to prevent conflicts and law violations. This research used a descriptive qualitative method with a data collection technique through the Listening-Taking Note method. Data were obtained from video transcriptions and social media posts containing the statement of the Chairman of BEM UGM. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by classifying it based on five forms of hate speech. The results show that there are five forms of hate speech delivered by the Chairman of BEM UGM against President Joko Widodo: (1) hate speech in the form of insults, such as calling the President a ‘Javanese Machiavelli’ and using derogatory words; (2) hate speech in the form of defamation, such as accusations of being a ‘ruler who destroys the democratic system’; (3) hate speech in the form of provocation, such as calls to fight the government; (4) hate speech in the form of spreading false news, such as the issue of a three-term presidency and accusations of nepotism; and (5) hate speech in the form of unpleasant actions, such as the installation of billboards calling the President ‘the most embarrassing UGM alumni’. The findings also show that these hate speeches are often not supported by factual evidence, so they are assumptions and slander. Thus, this research illustrates the importance of awareness in using social media wisely so as not to violate legal norms and communication ethics.

Abstract

Studies on Sufi poetry indicate that symbolism functions not only as an aesthetic expression but also as a medium of complex spiritual experience. However, previous research often separates religious symbols from existential imagery, resulting in fragmented interpretations of meaning. This study aims to analyze the symbols of the Beloved and the sea in the poetry of Ahmadun Yosi Herfanda using a Sufi symbolic approach. This research employs a qualitative method of textual analysis grounded in Vladimir Braginsky's symbolic-Sufi framework. The data consist of selected poems analyzed through symbol identification, interpretation of meaning, and their relation to Sufi concepts. The findings reveal that the Beloved's symbol represents the ultimate goal of union with the Divine. At the same time, the sea symbolizes the spiritual journey characterized by longing, trials, and alienation. Both symbols are integrated into a unified mystical structure connecting journey and union. The study concludes that mystical experience in Ahmadun Yosi Herfanda’s poetry is integrative and multidimensional. Its scholarly contribution lies in developing a Sufi symbolic reading that combines relational (Beloved) and processual (sea) dimensions within a systematic analytical framework.
