Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) constitute the backbone of Indonesia's economy, contributing 61.07% to the national GDP. However, most MSMEs still face challenges in marketing aspects, particularly in adopting digital technology to expand market reach. This community service activity aims to enhance the capacity of MSME practitioners in Cimangkok Village in utilizing digital technology innovation for more effective marketing strategies. The implementation method employed a participatory approach through interactive seminars, practical workshops, and group discussions involving 35 MSME practitioners with various types of businesses. The activity was conducted in three stages: preparation (survey and coordination), implementation (seminar and workshop), and evaluation and follow-up. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of digital marketing from an average score of 4.2 to 7.8 in pre-test and post-test assessments. As many as 71% of participants immediately implemented the acquired knowledge by initiating digital marketing activities, and several reported sales increases in the first week. This activity proves that digital transformation of MSMEs at the village level is highly feasible with appropriate guidance. Sustainability programs through WhatsApp groups and periodic mentoring serve as key factors to ensure long-term impacts on village economy and MSME practitioners' welfare.

Abstract

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has drawn global attention for decades, involving not only states but also international organizations, individuals, and non-governmental organizations. Media coverage often simplifies the conflict as Israeli Defense Force (IDF) vs Hamas or Jews vs Arabs. However, Afro-Palestinian communities face layered oppression that goes underreported—experiencing marginalization both as Black people and as Palestinians. This study aims to analyze how the Black Women Radicals (BWR) movement advocates for Afro-Palestinians through a transnational and intersectional feminist lens. Using an integrative review method, this study systematically examines data such as advocacy manifestos, organizational campaigns, and scholarly articles. Findings show that BWR’s initiatives highlight the intersection of race, nationality, and gender within systems of oppression. Kimberlé Crenshaw’s theory of intersectionality becomes crucial in interpreting BWR’s advocacy as a response to Afro-Palestinians’ structural invisibility and multidimensional subjugation.

Abstract

AbstractDrug repositioning is the reuse of an existing drug to treat a new disease other than its original medical indication. Drug repositioning can be done by predicting the interaction of drug compounds with disease proteins that react positively. One of the challenges in predicting the interaction of compounds and proteins is imbalanced data. Deep semi-supervised learning can be an alternative to handle prediction models with imbalanced data. The unsupervised learning based pre-training process in deep semi-supervised learning can represent input from unlabeled data (majority data) properly and optimize initialization of weights on the classifier. This study implements the Deep Belief Network (DBN) as a pre-training with Deep Neural Network (DNN) as a classifier. The data used in this study are ion channel, GPCR, and nuclear receptor dataset sourced from KEGG BRITE, BRENDA, SuperTarget, and DrugBank databases. The results of this study indicate that pre-training as feature extraction had an optimization effect. This can be seen from DNN performance improvement in accuracy (3-4.5%), AUC (4.5%), precision (5.9-6%), and F-measure (3.8%).
