Abstract

Reading and writing skills in Indonesia are still relatively low compared to other countries. Literacy activities can be used as an activity to increase interest in reading and student visits to the library, but it also requires efforts and strategies that must be done. This study aims to determine the strategy used by SMP Negeri 16 Pontianak in increasing interest in reading and visiting through literacy programs. This type of research method is qualitative in the form of descriptive, data collection techniques by interview, indirect observation, and documentation, the research subject is 5 informants. Data analysis with data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Validity data tests include trustworthiness, transferability, reliability, and verifiability. Research result 1) reading activities 15 minutes before learning began, and teachers participating in FIM activities, 2) students' interest in visiting the library was still low due to lack of attention to the library, 3) this activity has had a positive impact on students and teachers, it was seen that interest in reading and writing began increases, 4) the existing obstacles are possibility of inadequate facilities and infrastructure to support literacy activities. At the end school's efforts to increase interest in reading and visiting through literacy activities have been going well.

Abstract

Kulit wajah adalah salah satu bagian tubuh yang sangat penting dan membutuhkan perhatian khusus untuk perawatannya. Akne atau jerawat merupakan penyakit kulit yang terjadi akibat peradangan kronik unit pilosebasea Tanaman obat berupa buah tomat (Solanum lycopersicum L. Var. cucurbita) dan daun sirih (Piper betle L) mempunyai kandungan likopen, flavonoid dan minyak atsiri yang memiliki kemampuan antioksidan dan antibakteri. Masker peel-off merupakan jenis sediaan kosmetik perawatan yang bekerja dengan mengangkat kotoran dan sel kulit mati, agar kulit bersih dan segar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memformulasi dan mengevaluasi efektivitas masker peel-off kombinasi perasan buat tomat dan daun sirih sebagai anti jerawat. Formulasi masker gel peel off dalam penelitian ini dibuat berdasarkan variasi konsentrasi perasam tomat dan daun sirih masing –masing sebesar FI 5%; FII 10 %; FII 15% dan blangko berupa basis masker gel. Evaluasi sediaan masker gel peel off meliputi uji organoleptis, pH, homogenitas, viskositas, daya sebar, stabilitas fisik yang dilanjutkan dengan uji aktivitas antibakteri dan uji iritasi pada responden. Hasil evaluasi stabilitas fisik masker gel peel off memenuhi kriteria masker gel peel off yang baik. Perbedaan konsentrasi dalam setiap formulasi mempengaruhi stabilitas fisik masker gel peel off. Hasil perhitungan analisis menggunakan One Way ANOVA diikuti oleh Kruskall-Wallis menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan (p> 0,05) antara berbagai formulasi pada pertumbuhan Propionibacterium acnes. Hasil pengujian aktivitas antibakteri menunjukkan bahwa FII dan FIII memiliki daya hambat sedang terhadap Propionibacterium acnes.

Abstract

Strategi pemasaran digunakan untuk mendukung kegiatan dalam meningkatkan pendapatan bisnis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi strategi pemasaran yang berbeda untuk UD. Sonia Ratu mengembangkan ikan lele di Kabupaten Aceh Barat serta mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi oleh strategi-strategi tersebut. Metode Penelitian berbasis metodologi penelitian kualitatif. Pemilik, staf, dan pelanggan UD Sonia Ratu adalah informan penelitian ini. Teknik analisis data termasuk mengurangi data, menyajikan data, dan menampilkan kesimpulan. Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa strategi pemasaran ikan lele bisnis di UD Sonia Ratu menggunakan strategi SO (Strengths-Opportunities) yang dipilih berdasarkan analisis matriks SWOT. Tiga alternatif strategi SO telah diidentifikasi dan dieksplorasi; pertama, strategi mempertahankan kuantitas dan kualitas, kedua, strategi promosi menggunakan media digital, ketiga, strategi meningkatkan jumlah pelanggan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi berdasarkan keterampilan menulis masih rendah atau di bawah rata-rata pada siswa kelas VII SMP N 2 Kedu Temanggung, khususnya menulis teks deskripsi. Melihat kondisi tersebut, perlu diupayakan penggunaan model pembelajaran tertentu untuk menumbuhkan motivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis teks deskripsi pada siswa kelas VII SMP N 2 Kedu Temanggung. Salah satunya dengan penerapan model Picture and Picture. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah penerapan model Picture and Picture dalam pembelajaran menulis teks deskripsi pada siswa kelas VII SMP N 2 Kedu Temanggung tahun ajaran 2018/2019?. Ada pun tujuan dari penelitian ini mendeskripsikan penerapan model Picture and Picture dalam pembelajaran menulis teks deskripsi pada siswa kelas VII SMP N 2 Kedu Temanggung tahun ajaran 2018/2019.

Abstract

The Al Ma’soem Foundation in Bandung has a Public Relations (PR) department responsible for letter archiving. Currently, the archiving process is still done manually using Microsoft Office and physical archive boxes, which is considered less effective and efficient. Common issues include difficulty in locating letters, data loss, and document damage. To address these problems, this study aims to design an information system architecture for letter archiving using the Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) method with cloud computing integration. The EAP method consists of several stages, including planning initiation, business modeling, data architecture, application architecture, technology architecture, and implementation planning. The results of this study produce a framework (blueprint) that includes 4 main business processes, 17 data entities, 6 applications, and proposed cloud-based technology solutions. By implementing cloud computing, the letter archiving system is expected to become more efficient, secure, and easily accessible, thereby supporting the organization's operational efficiency. This study also provides implications for other organizations looking to improve their archiving systems through cloud computing technology.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the reasons behind Japan’s ambiguous stance regarding its potential membership in the AUKUS defence pact. Japan’s membership in AUKUS has become increasingly urgent as its role is deemed necessary in supporting Pillar II of AUKUS, which focuses on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, quantum technology, and additional underwater capabilities. Another consideration for Japan’s membership is the phenomenon of China’s rise, which AUKUS partners perceive as a security threat. Japan’s inclusion is expected to help counter China’s influence in the Indo-Pacific region. Japan’s membership is highly anticipated, as it is considered a like-minded country and a close ally of the United States. In theory, Japan should not face difficulties in making its membership decision, especially since AUKUS partners strongly support its inclusion. However, despite official statements from the Japanese government indicating openness and a positive reception toward the opportunity, Japan has yet to make a definitive decision regarding its AUKUS membership. This article seeks to understand why Japan remains uncertain (ambiguous) about its membership in AUKUS. This question is addressed through the concept of defensive realism. Based on this approach, Japan prioritizes its national interests by not joining AUKUS while still supporting the alliance’s continuity. This stance allows Japan to maintain cooperation with AUKUS partners without becoming an official member of the alliance. It also reflects Japan’s strategy in maintaining regional balance, ensuring that its position does not excessively escalate tensions with China, which is a global powerhouse in the region.

Abstract

Keamanan siber menjadi tantangan utama di eradigital, dengan ancaman yang terus berkembang sepertiransomware, serangan berbasis trojan, dan phishing. Berbagaiframework seperti COBIT 2019, NIST CybersecurityFramework (CSF), dan MITRE ATT&CK telah banyakditerapkan untuk membantu organisasi mengelola risiko danmelindungi aset digital mereka. Namun, setiap frameworkmemiliki kekuatan dan kelemahan, sehingga integrasi elementerbaik dari masing-masing framework menjadi penting untukmenciptakan kerangka kerja yang lebih efektif. Artikel inimembahas perbandingan dan integrasi framework-frameworktersebut untuk membangun kerangka kerja keamanan siberyang proaktif dan holistik. Framework hasil integrasi inimencakup empat aspek utama: Data Security, Application andEndpoint Security, Network and Perimeter Security, sertaHuman Layer. Integrasi ini memadukan tata kelola strategisdari COBIT 2019, modularitas dan fleksibilitas NIST CSF, sertapendekatan berbasis ancaman dari MITRE ATT&CK.Hasilnya adalah solusi komprehensif yang tidak hanyameningkatkan efisiensi manajemen risiko tetapi juga dapatdisesuaikan dengan kebutuhan sektor pemerintahan,pendidikan, layanan keuangan, dan industri lainnya.Framework ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kesiapankeamanan siber organisasi secara signifikan, mengurangikerentanan, memprioritaskan mitigasi risiko, serta merancangstrategi perlindungan yang adaptif terhadap ancaman yangterus berkembang.Kata kunci— Keamanan Siber, Framework Terintegrasi,Tingkat Kematangan, Framework Keamanan Siber

Abstract

This study developed an automatic video-based violence detection system by combining the MobileNetV2 architecture and Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (BiLSTM). MobileNetV2 is used to efficiently extract spatial features from each video frame, while BiLSTM is utilized to understand the temporal relationships between frames so that violence patterns can be recognized more accurately. The model is designed to classify videos into two classes: “Violence” and “Non-Violence.” The training process showed a consistent increase in accuracy with a decrease in loss values, without any indication of overfitting. The resulting model achieved an accuracy of 92%, with high precision and recall values, especially in detecting violent actions. The system is implemented in real-time using input from a live camera. When violence is detected, the system automatically displays a visual warning in the form of a red screen with the text “VIOLENCE DETECTED!” and saves a frame clip with a timestamp as documentation. Testing shows that the system can distinguish violent contexts effectively without producing significant false positives. With reliable performance and quick response times, this system has great potential for application in CCTV surveillance in public areas, schools, and conflict-prone regions as an efficient, proactive, and adaptive AI-based solution.

Abstract

Confidence interval estimation of parameters determines the value interval, which is calculated based on statistical measurements and has specific estimates probability that contains the actual parameters. A method is needed to estimate the parameters' confidence interval, and the methods used are the Score method and the Bootstrap method. This study aims to estimate parameters by using the maximum likelihood estimation method and analyze the reliability of the aircraft engine cooling system's lifetime that follows the Gamma Distribution, and estimate the confidence interval of the parameters.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of the Game-Based Learning (GBL) approach inimproving young learners’ vocabulary skills. The research was conducted at Pondok PesantrenDarul Amin Palangka Raya, involving 25 seventh-grade students selected through purposivesampling. A quantitative research method with an experimental group design was employed.The instrument used was a vocabulary test consisting of 15 questions covering five topics:Greetings, Colours, Counting, Telling Time, and Simple Present Tense. Students’ performancewas measured through a pre-test and a post-test. The results showed a significant improvementin students’ vocabulary achievement after the implementation of the Game-Based Learningapproach, with the average score increasing from 66.92 to 87.12. Statistical analysis, includingthe t-test and Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, confirmed the effectiveness of thetreatment. These findings birutoto suggest that Game-Based Learning is an effective and engagingmethod for enhancing vocabulary acquisition among young learners. The study supports theintegration of game-based strategies as a meaningful and enjoyable alternative to traditionalvocabulary instruction in English language learning.
