Abstract

The purpose of this article is to frame the specific role of corporate social responsibility (CSR) by taking of regional potential development through Pertamina Aviation Hang Nadim Batam. The implementation of this corporate social responsibility (CSR) activity was carried out by Pertamina Aviation Hang Nadim of Batam. Pertamina implements corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities for people, planet, and profit purposes. During the period of June 2017-June 2018, this activities has relized 4 (four) CSR activites with the main headline “Desa Berdikari” all of which were held in Batu Besar Village, Nongsa District in Batam. The impact of this CSR activities is to reduce the number of youth dropping out of school, unemployment, as well as an increase in income, and a decrease in the number of malnutrition under-five. This article is the result of research conducted with qualitative with a describtion approach.

Abstract

Currently villages in Indonesia are required to be able to give birth to quality economic growth and sustainable. Quality economic growth is a concept of strengthening and contribution contributed by the real economy sector in the village. Therefore, the development and empowerment of rural communities through the management of the Village Fund or Village Fund Allocation Fund must be balanced. Because to empower the potential of the village optimally and sustainably, funding for the village needs to be focused not only to build village, but more empowered to become a self-constructing village. This study aims to develop local economic independence through optimizing the management of Village Funds in Siak Subdistrict Siak District and any factors that influence the development of local economic independence. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with sampling technique used is snowball sampling. The research informant is the apparatus involved in the implementation of the Village Fund program and the community leaders who know the program. Data collection was done by interview and observation technique, after the data collected and then analyzed by using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of research indicate that the development of village economy can be done by strengthening the performance of local economic institutions such as BUMDes through various aspects. To achieve this, an integrated movement between the community, BUMDes and the government is realized in the form of partnership. Activities that can be done is to optimize the function of central and local entrepreneurial institutions to support various efforts to inventory the potential of local economic resources. With the development of household industry activities, it will facilitate efforts to establish cooperation between local economic development institutions that exist and thus create a process of sustainable community empowerment of villages.

Abstract

The Commitment of one of the state companies PT. Pertamina in implementing Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) is realized in various CSR activities covering the fields of education, health, environment, infrastructure, community empowerment, disaster management, and special assistance. The realization of activities is carried out by all working units of Pertamina's CSR functions, both at the head office, unit operations, and subsidiaries such as the Sungai Pakning Refinery Unit (RU) II Production. Pertamina implements CSR programs for people, planet and profit (3P) purposes. This goal is the focus of Pertamina in running its operations, where products are developed and services provided care about environmental sustainability, especially the earth for the interests and future of future generations. Pertamina's CSR focuses on four issues that become its pillars, namely: Pertamina Cerdas, Pertamina Sehati, Pertamina Hijau, and Pertamina Berdikari. This article is the result of research conducted with qualitative methods with a participatory approach.

Abstract

This research discusses about strategies to sustainable improve village status in the village of Kundur, Kepulauan Meranti Regency. The problems and phenomena in this study are the selection of Kundur village to be one of the priority development target villages, the lower the IKE value in 2018-2019, and the IDM calculation 2018-2019 The purpose of this research (1) to find out the social, economic and ecology conditions in the Kundur village, (2) to find out the strategies carried out to continuously improve the status of the Kundur village. The research method used is a mixed method. From the results of the study, the existing conditions of social security get a sccore of 0,878 economic resilience of 0,600 ecology resilience of 0,850. From the results of these scores get the Kundur village IDM score of 0,776. And the strategy that should be carried out by the Kundur village to improve the status of thee village is anaggresive and growing strategy, by making utilizing human resources in maintaining natural resources for sustainable development, innovation in adding village owned business entity (BUMDes) units in accordance with existing conditions, and addition of plantation production types.

Abstract

The online service carried out at the Dukcapil Office of Pekanbaru City has the aim of creating an effective public service process so that it can make the service process fast, easy, cheap, and uncomplicated. There are two kinds of online services, namely Sipenresiden in the form of a website and Waiting Service (LAGU) which is an application. In this online service process, there are several factors that become obstacles in the effort to realize effective services, namely the lack of awareness of the Dukcapil service to the people of Pekanbaru City who take care of population administration, the lack of readiness of facilities and infrastructure and human resources owned by the Department, as well as socialization about online services to the public. less active society. This study has a purpose, namely to determine the effectiveness of online services carried out by the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Pekanbaru City. The theoretical concept used is the theory of effectiveness by Mahmudi 2019. By using qualitative research methods and data collection based on interviews, observations and documentation. The results of the research that the author can get are that the implementation of online services still has several factors that become obstacles experienced by the Pekanbaru City Population and Civil Registration Office, so that the online services implemented have not been effective.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. Implementation of organizing good Governence, essentially demanding theinvolvement of all components of the stakeholders, both in environmental red tape aswell as in the environmental community. The essence of good governance is characterizedby this public service is good, this is in line with the essence of the policy ofdecentralization and regional autonomy which is intended to give discretion to the regionset up and take care of the local community and improve public services. This researchexamines the application of models of comprehensive principles of good governance in theservice of licensing in Kota Pekanbaru, factors that inhibit and supports the application ofgood governance in the service of licensing in Kota Pekanbaru. Results of the study foundthat the public approved the application of the principles of good governance in theservice of licensing conducted by the Agency of Integrated Services and capital investment(BPTPM) Kota Pekanbaru. Factors that hinder the application of the principles of goodgovernance in the service of the Agency's Integrated Services in licensing and Investment(BPTPM) Kota Pekanbaru is the factor of human resources and community patterns ofthought against the ministry. Abstract

The coastal area has many potential resources whose utilization is not optimal. One potential that must be developed is the potential of human resources, with ability and creativity, humans can create and develop everything that is initially not considered and has a low selling value into something that has high economic value. The strengthening of science and technology aims to motivate rural communities, especially fishermen, to develop creativity so that they can increase the income and welfare of fishing communities. The science and technology strengthening activity was carried out in Pangkalan Jambi Village with two models, namely the application of the Center for Environment and Society Model, namely utilizing the productive use of social capital and environmentally friendly management of fisheries resources. The second application is the Entrepreneurship Capacity Building (ECB) model related to the ability of the entrepreneurial community. Science and technology strengthening activities and local wisdom in the form of fostering fishing communities in the management of fishery products such as chips, nuggets, meatballs, oil, as medicines and fish jelly as cosmetics. Then institutional development and assistance for marketing. So far, fishermen are only able to sell their catches directly without technology-based processing. After the dedication, there were three programs carried out including the formation of individual skills in fish processing, group formation, and marketing management assistance.

Abstract

This service aims to provide institutional strengthening of traditional villages in the administration, development and service to the community in Lubuk Jering Village, Sungai Mandau District. The problem that occurs is due to increasingly complex systems of life in the midst of indigenous village communities as a result of the influence of urbanization from other regions. Traditional villages in Siak Regency are one form of traditional government system in Indonesia that has undergone many changes. The change concerns various aspects of social life that touch the values, norms, attitudes and patterns of behavior of the people. The method used is the extension method. The implementation of community service in the context of strengthening customary institutions in Lubuk Jering Village, Mandau District can be concluded to have successfully provided counseling. This success was demonstrated, among others, by the compatibility of the material with the needs of village government officials and the community in an effort to strengthen Then there was a positive response (70%) of participants based on the questionnaire distributed, which was indicated by the questions and responses given during the service. Most of the participants understood the importance of strengthening adat institutions in Kampung Lubuk Jering, Sungai Mandau District, Siak Regency.

Abstract

This article is the result of community service activities, which were carried out at the Bumdes Taiba Smart in Tarai Bangun Village, Kampar. The focus of community service activities carried out is the strengthening of the Bumdes Taiba Smart institution, which is geographically located on the border of Pekanbaru City and Kampar Regency. The Bumdes institutions that exist there basically already have an organizational structure and coexist well with the village government, but there are some challenges that are difficult to solve so that they require brainstorming carried out in community service activities. This community service is through a pattern of brainstorming and regular assistance within 3 months with an offline and online pattern, because there are limitations during July – September 2021, there is a PPKM policy to suppress the Covid 19 pandemic. The challenges found are increasingly difficult for Bumdes Tarai Bangun especially during the pandemic At this time, there was a transition in the community's economy in several sectors. There is not too much local potential that can be utilized and the activities of the Bumdes Taiba Smart are less varied. However, indeed, this community service activity is still not maximal, but it has been able to provide restoration and institutional strengthening for the Taiba Smart Bumdes.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the implementation process as well as the driving and inhibiting factors of community empowerment through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program by PT. PJB UBJOM PLTU Tenayan in Industri Tenayan Village.Research Methodology: The method use in this research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach.Results: The results of the implementation of each stage of empowerment have been realized, but are not optimal so that they have not been able to create community independence in the Tenayan Industrial Village. The awareness stage, by providing socialization, was carried out once and was attended by 30 residents of the Tenayan Industrial Village. In the capacity building stage, the community is given training in business management, group structure, and legality. Empowerment stage, giving seeds and cages. The Young Jaya Organic group consists of 7 members, 4 members showing good progress. The supporting factor is the support from stakeholders. The inhibiting factor is the unavailability of supporting technology in making media and processing results.Limitations: In this study, the authors did not get clear information regarding the division of tasks of each member in carrying out the activities of the Muda Jaya Organik Group.Contribution: Theoretically, this research can be used as reference material and a continuous comparison medium for future research that has the same topic and problems. So that it can lead to solving problems related to increasing public awareness and increasing the quality and quantity of production from the Young Jaya Organic Group.
