Abstract

Energy is an important component in human life that is currently feared to be experiencing a shortage. This is because the main energy source used is fossil energy sources, which are limited and not environmentally friendly. This Community Service aims to introduce SDG-based education on the SDG's topic of using renewable energy sources to foster students' understanding and awareness of sustainable energy practices. This Community Service activity uses an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which focuses on identifying and utilizing the strengths and resources of the community and region, especially Samarinda, to support the integration of renewable energy education. This community service was carried out at State High School 4 Samarinda. The participants were all students from one of the classes who had or were taking subjects on renewable energy sources. The number of students who took part in this activity was 30 students. Data was obtained through project testing and questionnaires, which were distributed after the activities had been completed. The questionnaire consists of 10 questions, 8 of which are open questions. All groups succeeded in creating projects, and 86% of students responded positively to the SDGs. These results indicate that this educational activity has achieved its objectives regarding student understanding and awareness.

Abstract

This study analyzes religious teachers' human resource management process at SMA Negeri 2 Ngawi in supporting student character development. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Researchers analyzed the data using the Miles and Huberman analysis model, including data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusions or verification. The study results indicate that the recruitment process for religious teachers prioritizes religious aspects, participation in religious organizations, solidarity, and discipline. Teacher development is done directly through internal discussions, WhatsApp groups, sharing sessions, and shared perceptions. The religious team routinely performs monthly and semester evaluations to assess craftsmanship, discipline, and order improvements. Implementing this human resource management has succeeded in forming a compact team, establishing good communication, and creating a positive work environment, resulting in competent and disciplined religious teachers. This human resource management of religious teaching impacts improving the quality of religious programs implemented to develop student character so that students are more disciplined in worship, have an increased understanding of the fiqh of prayer, and are more responsible. In addition to realizing the success of the religious program, this can also provide insight to the community that public high schools also have the potential to improve religious character in students.

Abstract

The phenomenon of religious intolerance has recently become more intractable and intricate. Some records have revealed that secondary-level institutions, state universities, and religious education institutions within the community are susceptible to radical ideologies. This research project aims to analyse and examine the role of local wisdom, exemplified by the Hajat Sasih tradition observed by the Kampung Naga community, in fostering an attitude of tolerance. The research method applied by a quasi-qualitative, with a focus on understanding the nature of tolerance and its implications for the formation of interfaith harmony in relation to the Hajat Sasih culture in Kampung Naga. In order to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data collected, meticulous observation and in-depth interviews were applied as data collection techniques. The findings of this study can be summarised as follows: first, the community views the Hajat Sasih culture as a means of respecting and appreciating the local wisdom. Second, the tolerance model applied is through the symbolisation and meaning of the Hajat Sasih ceremony. Third, the role of education in Kampung Naga is to facilitate the community's openness to the outside world or foreign cultures, while maintaining its local customs. Fenomena intoleransi dalam beragama belakangan ini semakin menguat dan kompleksitas. Beberapa catatan telah diungkapkan bahwa lembaga jenjang menengah dan perguruan tinggi negeri serta lembaga pendidikan keagamaan di masyarakat terpapar paham radikalimse. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa dan menguatkan sikap toleransi yang dilakukan oleh kearifan lokal yakni masyarakat Kampung Naga melalui tradisi Hajat Sasih. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti yakni kuasi kualitatif yang berfokus pada pemahaman toleransi dan implikasinya dalam pembentukan harmoni antar umat beragama dengan Kebudayaan Hajat Sasih di Kampung Naga. Teknik pengumpulan data yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini adalah observasi terhadap objek dengan hati-hati (meticulous observation) dan wawancara mendalam (in depth interview) yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan informasi yang akurat dari informan atau narasumber. Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini yakni pertama, pandangan masyarakat terhadap budaya Hajat Sasih adalah menghormati dan menghargai adat kearifan lokal yang telah dijalankan oleh para sesepuh/leluhur. Kedua, model toleransi yang diterapkan yakni melalui simbolisasi dan makna upacara Hajat Sasih. Ketiga, peran pendidikan di Kampung Naga yang merealisasikan keterbukaannya terhadap dunia luar atau budaya asing dengan mempertahankan adat lokalnya.

Abstract

Bangunan perkantoran di Kota Banda Aceh adalah salah satu yang terkena dampak bencana gempa bumi dan tsunami tahun 2004 silam. Pasca 19 tahun tsunami, masih terdapat sejumlah gedung mengalami kerusakan berupa retak dan korosi pada elemen struktur bangunan perkantoran yang terkena air tsunami. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbandingan tingkat kerusakan pada elemen struktur bangunan perkantoran di Kota Banda Aceh pasca 19 tahun tsunami 2004 berdasarkan radius dari bibir pantai. Tahapan awal adalah inspeksi terhadap beberapa bangunan perkantoran, selanjutnya ditentukan dua bangunan perkantoran dengan radius 2 km dari bibir pantai dan tiga bangunan dengan radius 2 km dari bibir pantai. Tahapan berikutnya dilakukan assessment dengan metode visual assessment menggunakan formulir pemeriksaan kerusakan bangunan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 2 bangunan perkantoran dengan kategori rusak ringan pada radius 2 km dari bibir pantai, dan 3 bangunan pada radius 2 km dari bibir pantai. Hasil yang didapatkan seluruh bangunan masuk kepada kategori rusak ringan, namun nilai kerusakan yang didapat lebih besar pada bangunan dengan radius lebih dekat dari bibir pantai.

Abstract

Korosi atau yang lebih umum disebut pengkaratan merupakan suatu proses degradasi material logam yang diakibatkan oleh reaksi elektrokimia dengan senyawa lain dan lingkungannya. Korosi baja tulangan menyebabkan pengembangan volume baja tulangan sehingga selimut beton yaitu bagian beton yang melindungi baja tulangan dapat mengalami keretakan atau terkelupas. Hal ini sangat membahayakan bagi pengguna suatu struktur tersebut karena dapat menyebabkan penurunan kekuatan dan hancurnya suatu struktur beton bertulang. Bencana tsunami 2004 di Provinsi Aceh telah mengakibatkan banyak kerugian material dan non-material salah-satunya kerusakan bangunan pertokoan di Kota Banda Aceh. Dampak yang masih berlangsung hingga saat ini berupa kerusakan pada elemen struktur bangunan pertokoan yang terkena air tsunami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan tingkat kerusakan bangunan pertokoan yang terkena dampak tsunami 2004 di Kota Banda Aceh. Tahapan penelitian ini dimulai dengan melakukan inspeksi awal terhadap beberapa bangunan pertokoan, selanjutnya ditentukan tiga bangunan pertokoan dengan radius 2 km dari bibir pantai, dan tiga bangunan pertokoan dengan radius 2,5 km dari bibir pantai untuk dilakukan assessment terhadap kerusakan pada elemen struktur bangunan pertokoan tersebut dengan metode visual assessment menggunakan Formulir Pemeriksaan Kerusakan Bangunan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 2 bangunan pertokoan dengan kategori rusak sedang dan 1 bangunan dengan kategori rusak ringan pada radius 2 km, sedangkan 1 bangunan dengan kategori rusak sedang dan 2 bangunan dengan kategori rusak ringan pada radius 2.5 km dari bibir pantai. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa bangunan dengan radius 2 km dari bibir pantai mempunyai tingkat kerusakan yang lebih tinggi.

Abstract

Multicultural education management in Islamic boarding schools is considered crucial as a response to the increasing number of bullying cases caused by a lack of understanding of cultural, ethnic, and social differences. This study aims to analyze the implementation of multicultural education management in preventing bullying at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Madinatul Huffadz Ngawi. This study used qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using open coding through NVivo 12 Plus software. The results showed that bullying prevention strategies were implemented through programmatic and non-programmatic approaches such as moral studies, weekly deliberations, mutual cooperation, foster parent programs, and anti-bullying seminars. The results showed that this management created a tolerant and inclusive learning climate. In conclusion, multicultural strategies have proven effective in reducing bullying. The practical contribution of this study is to provide a concrete model for Islamic boarding school managers or similar educational institutions in implementing multicultural education management strategies to prevent bullying. Existing programs have been proven to form healthy social interactions and raise awareness of the importance of tolerance.

Abstract

Beleka Village, located in Central Lombok Regency, is an area with a high vulnerability to flood disasters, particularly around the riverbank buffer zones. This issue is exacerbated by land-use changes and the low public awareness of the importance of maintaining the ecological function of riverbank areas as water infiltration zones. This community service activity aims to educate the public and provide adaptive and sustainable spatial planning recommendations as part of flood control efforts. The approach used is participatory, involving outreach activities, participatory mapping, and focus group discussions (FGDs) with residents, community leaders, and village government officials. The results of the activity show that spatial planning approaches can improve community understanding of the strategic function of riverbanks and encourage the formation of local agreements to protect and rehabilitate these areas as conservation and flood infiltration zones. In addition, a draft spatial utilization plan was produced, based on disaster mitigation principles that integrate local wisdom and ecological aspects. This activity highlights the importance of synergy between scientific approaches and community participation in sustainable spatial management at the village level. It is hoped that this initiative can serve as a replicable model for other villages facing similar challenges, particularly in the context of flood control through spatial planning.

Abstract

Pesantren in Indonesia are increasingly challenged by modernization, state-driven standardization, and globalization, which have fragmented religious and secular knowledge, marginalizedmoral and spiritualformation, and reduced educationto merecredentialism—developments that contradict Imam al-Ghazali’s classical vision of ethical and spiritual refinement. To address these challenges, this study proposes a practical model for integrating al-Ghazali’s ta’dib framework—emphasizing adab (discipline), tazkiyah (spiritual purification), mujāhadah (inner struggle), niyyah (sincerity), and ma‘rifah (divine knowledge)—into contemporary pesantren curricula and evaluates its effectiveness through measurable indicators. Adopting a qualitative dual-method design, the research combines hermeneutical analysis of al-Ghazali’s seminal works (Iḥyā’ ‘Ulūm al-Dīn, Ayyuhā al-Walad, al-Tarbiyah wa al-Ta‘līm, al-Risālah al-Ladunniyyah) with field-based case studies in three purposively selected pesantren. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews (n=12), participant observations, and document analysis, and subjected to thematic coding. The study addresses three key gaps in the literature: the absence of empirical implementation models, the lack of rigorous evaluation frameworks, and limited stakeholder-driven research. From field validation, a ta’dib integration model with seven quantifiable indicators was developed—moral reasoning, spiritual disposition, academic performance, pedagogical coherence, stakeholder satisfaction, institutional alignment, and ritual engagement. Findings revealed significant improvements in student character scores (18%) and academic achievement (12%) after one year. Key enabling factors included strong kyai leadership and community involvement, while barriers stemmed from accreditation demands and insufficient teacher training. The results suggest that systematic ta’dib integration can alignspiritual and moralformation with academic excellence, offering evidence-based guidance for pesantren leaders and policymakers in advancing holistic, value-based educationalreform.

Abstract

Keberadaan NPC (Non Player Character) dalam suatu game merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam menentukan game itu menarik atau tidak. Jika tidak ada penciptaan NPC yang cerdas dimana NPC tidak bersifat adaptif, dan reaktif, maka jika dilihat dari sisi game dapat dikatakan tidak menarik dan cenderung membosankan, sehingga penulis bertujuan membuat penelitian yaitu perancangan dan pembuatan Game Survival Shooter 3D dengan studi kasus Random jumlah objek menggunakan algoritma LCM (Linear Congruent Method). Kejadian acakan tersebut terjadi pada acakan kemunculan musuh setelah berburu. permainan ditugaskan untuk berfokus menghindari, dan menembak NPC untuk terus bertahan hidup selama mungkin dengan alat seadanya dan melanjutkan misi hingga sampai ke akhir permainan. sehingga menciptakan game AI tiga dimensi (3d) yang mampu menguji kecepatan, reaksi dari pemainnya, dan meningkatkan intelektual bagi penggunanya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis prosses model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV di SDN 61/II. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tidanakan Kelas dengan model kemmis dan MC Taggart dan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing pada kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Pada Prasiklus hasil belajar siswa memiliki persentase sebesar 67% dengan keaktifan belajar sebesar 59%, pada siklus I hasil belajar siswa sebesar 69% dengan keaktifan belajar sebesar 65%, sedangkan pada siklus II hasi l belajar siswa mencapai 91% dengan keaktifan belajar siswa sebesar 83%, hal ini menunjukan bahwa siswa mencapai ketuntasan belajar setelah menggunakan model Snowball Throwing. Peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa juga terlihat dari persentase keaktifan yang meningkat dari 59% pada prasiklus menjadi 82% pada siklus II. Kesimpulannya, penerapan model pembelajaran snowball throwing terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi proses perumusan dan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Model ini dapat menjadi alternatif metode pembelajaran yang menarik dan memotivasi siswa dalam belajar.
