Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa berdasarkan langkah-langkah Model Pembelajaran Group Investigation.  Penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 3 SD Negeri Tingkir Lor 02 yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dan rubrik penilaian keterampilan berpikir kritis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis  siswa, pada siklus I yaitu dari 32 siswa terdapat 4 siswa (12,50%) dengan kriteria “Sangat Tinggi”, 19 siswa (59,38%) dengan kriteria “Tinggi”, 9 siswa (28,12%) dengan kriteria “Cukup”, dan tidak terdapat siswa yang mendapat kriteria “Rendah” dan “Sangat Rendah”. Kemudian pada siklus II diperoleh hasil yaitu sebanyak 14 siswa (43,75%) dengan kriteria “Sangat Tinggi”, 17 siswa (53,13%) dengan kriteria “Tinggi”, 1 siswa (3,12%) dengan kriteria “Cukup” dan tidak terdapat siswa yang mendapat kriteria “Rendah” dan “Sangat Rendah”. Jadi model Group Investigation yang diterapkan sesuai langkah-langkah yang tepat dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Penilaian dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar pada kurikulum 2013 mencakup 3 ranah pembelajaran yaitu sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan. Berfokus pada penilaianranah sikap dalam pembelajaran selama ini dirasa instrumennya kurang tepat. Hal tersebut berdasarkan bahwa selama ini guru menilai ranah sikap siswa dari pengamatan saja, maka dari itu penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan instrumen penialain sikap tanggung jawab kelas 5 dalam pembelajaran tematik dengan menggunakan Skala Likert. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (R&D). Produk instrumen penilaian sikap tanggung jawab di uji tingkat validitasnya oleh ahli penilaian sikap mendapatkan skor 74,3% sehingga masuk kedalam kategori tinggi, oleh ahli bahasa mendapatkan skor 88,3% sehingga masuk kedalam kategori sangat tinggi, dan terakhir oleh ahli desain pembelajaran mendapatkan skor 72,5% sehingga masuk kedalam kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil validitas ketiga ahli tersebut maka intrumen penilaian sikap tanggung jawab kelas 5 sekolah dasar pada pembelajaran tematik layang untuk digunakan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The research was conducted with the aim of improving collaboration skills in 5th grade elementary school students using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) instructional model. The study took place at SDN Tingkir Tengah 02 Salatiga in the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, with a total of 28 students. This research is a Classroom Action Research with non-test data collection techniques, and quantitative data analysis. The instrument used was an observation sheet for collaboration skills. The research consisted of two cycles. The results of the research showed that the Problem Based Learning instructional model can enhance collaboration skills. This was evidenced by the pre-cycle data, where only 32.14% of the fifth-grade students exhibited good collaboration skills, while 67.86% were still lacking in collaboration skills. In the first cycle, there was an increase to 53.57% of students with good collaboration skills, while 46.43% of students still had insufficient collaboration skills. In the second cycle, there was a further improvement, with 82.57% of students demonstrating good collaboration skills, and 17.43% of students still lacking in collaboration skills. This improvement was evident in changes in student behavior, as students in the pre-cycle appeared to prefer working individually, but after the implementation of this model, students were very enthusiastic about collaboration. Keywords: Collaboration Skills, Problem Based Learning (PBL) ABSTRAK Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan collaboration skils pada siswa kelas 5 Sekolah Dasar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Penelitian dilaksanakan di SDN Tingkir Tengah 02 Salatiga pada kelas 5 Semester 1 tahun pelajaran 2023/2024 dengan jumlah siswa 28 orang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan teknik pengumpulan data nontes, analisis data berupa kuantitatif. Intrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi collaboration skills. Penelitian dilaksanakan dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan collaboration skills. Dibuktikan dengan data pra siklus dari 28 siswa kelas 5 hanya 32,14% siswa yang collaboration skills baik, sedangkan 67,86% masih kurang dalam collaboration skills. Pada siklus I mengalami kenaikan menjadi 53,57% siswa dengan collaboration skills baik, sedangkan untuk siswa yang kurang dalam collaboration skills menjadi 46,43%, pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 82,57% siswa dengan kemampuan collaboration skills yang baik dan 17,43% siswa yang masing kurang dalam collaboration skills. Peningkatan tersebut nampak pada perubahan perilaku siswa dimana siswa pada pra siklus terlihat lebih memilih bekerja secara individu sedangkan setelah penerapan model ini siswa sangat antusias untuk berkolaborasi. Abstract

This study was motivated by the low critical thinking skills of students in class IV SDN Tingkir Tengah 01. This study aims to improve students' critical thinking skills using the Project Based Learning model. The research method used was Classroom Action Research. The implementation of the PTK was carried out for 2 cycles. This research design consists of several stages, namely planning stage (planning), action (action), observation (observation) and reflection (reflection). The research subjects were class IV students totaling 27 students. The instruments used include tests, observations and documentation. The results of improving students' critical thinking skills can be seen at each stage of the cycle. Students experienced an increase in cycle I reaching 67% classical completeness with 18 students who were complete and 9 students were not complete. Whereas in cycle II, the completeness increased to 81% with 22 complete students and 5 students who were not complete. Thus it can be concluded that by applying the Project Based Learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills on the IPAS learning in class IV SDN Tingkir Tengah 01.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a training module that equips elementary school teachers with the skills to create interactive Learning Worksheets (LKPDs) using Google Slides, aligning with the demands of 21st-century education. A Research and Development method, following the Borg and Gall model, was employed. The research process involved seven stages: 1) a comprehensive needs assessment and literature review, 2) detailed research planning, 3) development of an initial module draft, 4) small-scale field testing to gather feedback, 5) revision of the module based on initial findings, 6) large-scale field testing to evaluate the module's effectiveness, and 7) final revisions based on the overall results. This study focused on 18 elementary school teachers at SD Kristen 04 Eben Haezer Salatiga. Data was collected through interviews and questionnaires. Qualitative and quantitative analyses were employed to examine the data. The findings revealed that the Google Slides-based LKPD training module was successfully implemented and significantly enhanced teachers' pedagogical competencies in designing interactive learning materials using this digital tool. The validity of the training module was confirmed by expert evaluations. The module received a very high validity rating of 88% from instructional design experts and a high rating of 62% from content experts. Furthermore, the module was highly effective in improving teachers' skills, as evidenced by the positive feedback and high scores obtained from the teacher participants. The post-training survey revealed an average satisfaction rating of 93%, indicating a very high level of acceptance among the teachers.

Abstract

The priority problems to be solved in this service include two problems. The first problem is that the Teaching Modules prepared by teachers in partner schools are not innovative. The second problem is that learning practices have not applied learning technology according to the demands of 21st century learning, so they are unable to achieve student's learning surplus. The first solution is to conduct workshops to improve teachers' insights and skills about the urgency of lesson plans in learning, learning components, designing innovative learning models, developing learning videos, and conducting peer teaching. The second solution, through learning (realteaching) in the classroom using innovative Teaching Modules that have been prepared with technology assistance according to the demands of 21st century learning. This PkM method uses a continuous workshop model. Data collection instruments used tests and interviews. The data analysis technique uses descriptive percentage and categorical techniques. The results of PkM stated that the competence of elementary school teachers in the Kenanga Cluster in preparing Innovative Teaching Modules assisted by 21st century learning technology was in the good category. Learning practices using innovative teaching modules have an impact on the growth of student's learning surplus

Abstract

Aplikasi berbasis Android dapat menjadi media pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji validitas dan efektivitas media pembelajaran perubahan bumi berbasis android dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian dilakukan di gugus Kecamatan Sidomukti, yakni SD Negeri Mangunsari 03, SD Negeri Kalicacing 02, dan SD Negeri Dukuh 01, dengan total 62 siswa kelas lima. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ASSURE. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, rubrik penilaian uji validitas, rubrik penilaian kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan kuesioner tanggapan siswa. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kategoris dan persentase, serta uji T menggunakan uji-t sampel berpasangan dengan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran ini valid dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Validasi ahli media mendapat skor 92%, validasi ahli material 86%, dan validasi ahli desain 95,4%, semuanya dalam kategori yang sangat tinggi. Efektivitas pembelajaran IPAS dinilai sangat efektif berdasarkan respon siswa dengan skor persentase 87,7% dan guru dengan skor persentase 93,3%. Uji t sampel berpasangan menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000, yang membuktikan bahwa media ini secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) program at SMP Negeri 4 Namohalu Esiwa through an ethnographic approach. It examines the perceptions of teachers, students, and parents regarding the program, literacy practices within the school, socio-cultural barriers, and school culture factors that support students' reading interest. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the GLS program at SMP Negeri 4 Namohalu Esiwa has not yet effectively improved students' reading interest due to limited library facilities, insufficient access to relevant reading materials, and low parental involvement in supporting students' literacy development. Furthermore, the local culture, which emphasizes oral traditions over written literacy, poses a significant challenge. Nevertheless, teacher support and literacy activities such as reading corners and a 15-minute pre-class reading period demonstrate potential for further development. This study recommends enhancing literacy facilities, providing teacher training, fostering collaboration among schools, parents, and communities, and integrating local cultural elements into the GLS program. These steps are expected to foster a sustainable literacy culture and significantly improve students' reading interest.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning and Project Based Learning models in terms of critical thinking skills in grade 4 elementary school science subjects. This research was carried out in the 4th grade at Gugus Gajah Mada Elementary School. The subjects in this research were SDN Dukuh 03 with 26 students, SDN Dukuh 05 with 20 students, and SDN Kecandran 01 with 28 students. The type of research design is a quasi-experimental Nonequivalent Control Group design. The data collection instrument uses a critical thinking skills rubric. Hypothesis testing is carried out using the t-test. Based on the results of data analysis, there are significant differences between experimental group 1 which applies the PBL model and experimental group 2 which applies the PjBl model. The prerequisite test results show that the data is normally distributed and homogeneous. The difference in the average value of critical thinking skills in the Problem Based Learning model is 74 and the Project Based Learning model is 79.92. So it can be interpreted that the Project Based Learning model is more effective than the Problem Based Learning model in terms of critical thinking abilities. The final results of calculations using the t test obtained a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.002 < 0.05, so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, so there is a difference between the use of Problem Based Learning and Project Based Learning models in terms of critical thinking skills in science subjects. 4th grade elementary school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model Problem Based Learning dan Make A Match dalam pembelajaran Tematik siswa kelas 5 SD Negeri Sidorejo lor 04 dan SD Negeri Sidorejo lor 05 ditinjau dari keterampian berpikir kritis. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 5 SD Negeri Sidorejo Lor 04 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan SD Negeri Sidorejo Lor 05 sebagai kelas kontrol. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi experiment  jenisPretest-Posttest Control Group Design merupakan jenis design yang dipilih. Sampel yang diambil adalah 72 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Make A Match dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam menyelesaikan soal pada mata pelajaran Tematik di kelas 5 SD Negeri Sidorejo Lor 04 dan SD Negeri Sidorejo Lor 05. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dari meningkatnya keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dari kelas eksperimen 74,21 (cukup kritis) daan kelas kontrol yaitu 60,82 (tidak kritis). Dari uji Ancova pada muatan Bahasa Indonesia 1,570 taraf signifikansi atau probabilitas 0,214. Oleh karena probabilitas 0,214. Oleh karena probabilitas 0,214 > 0,05, maka Ho diterima, dan Ha ditolak. Sedangkan pada muatan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam  F hitung 0,334 taraf signifikansi atau probabilitas 0,565, maka Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak. Artinya model Problem Based Learning lebih efektif secara signifikan dari pada model Make A Match ditinjau dari keterampilan berpikir kritis Tematik pada peserta didik kelas 5 SD Negeri Sidorejo Lor 04 dan SD Negeri Sidorejo Lor 05.
