Abstract

Artikel ini memberikan paparan inisiatif MA Ibadurrochman dalam meningkatkan kreativitas dan kemampuan pembelajarannya melalui implementasi Augmented Reality (AR) berbasis audio-visual dalam karya kaligrafi. Inovasi ini bertujuan mengintegrasikan media digital interaktif ke dalam kurikulum, menciptakan pengalaman pembelajaran imersif. Dengan mengubah karya kaligrafi menjadi materi interaktif menggunakan AR, peserta didik dan pendidik dapat menyelami aspek artistik dan keilmuan kaligrafi dengan lebih mendalam dan dinamis. Pendekatan Aset Based Community Development (ABCD) diadopsi untuk memaksimalkan potensi lokal. Hasil program ini mencerminkan peningkatan substansial dalam pemahaman konseptual, keterampilan praktis, dan kreativitas baik siswa maupun guru. Penggunaan AR berbasis audio-visual tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan kaligrafi dan seni di MA Ibadurrochman, tapi juga berdampak positif pada pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia. Keberhasilan ini menandai AR sebagai model inovatif dalam pendidikan, mengkatalisir pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan interaktif. Karya kaligrafi tidak lagi hanya sebagai objek estetika, tapi juga sumber pembelajaran yang kaya. Penerapan teknologi ini menjanjikan perubahan paradigma dalam pendekatan pembelajaran kaligrafi, memperkaya proses edukasi dan menumbuhkan apresiasi mendalam terhadap seni dan keilmuan kaligrafi.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mendorong transformasi dalam pendidikan, termasuk dalam penyampaian materi pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan interaktif. Di sisi lain, pembelajaran seni budaya di tingkat SMP masih didominasi metode konvensional yang kurang visual dan tidak sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa generasi digital. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya kebutuhan akan media pembelajaran yang lebih kontekstual, komunikatif, dan sesuai dengan kebiasaan belajar siswa masa kini. Salah satu inovasi yang potensial adalah penggunaan Virtual YouTuber (VTuber), yaitu karakter virtual yang menyampaikan konten edukatif melalui platform digital seperti YouTube. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis VTuber pada materi gambar ilustrasi untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi validasi ahli media dan materi, serta uji coba kepada 32 siswa melalui angket. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Validasi yang dilakukan oleh ahli media memperoleh skor 89,5% dan oleh ahli materi sebesar 91,67%, keduanya termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak.Hasil uji coba lapangan penggunaan media tersebut memperoleh persentase 77,78%, yang menggambarkan bahwa media tersebut layak digunakan. Media VTuber terbukti menarik, komunikatif, dan selaras dengan prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka karena mendukung pembelajaran berbasis proyek, eksploratif, dan fleksibel. Dengan demikian, media ini layak digunakan sebagai alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran seni rupa di era digital. Abstract

This research is aimed to study the phenomena of the socio-cultural characteristics, the shift of shape variety, techniques of production, function, as well as the adaptation pattern of the pottery makers of Pagelaran. The study is done holistically and in depth by using qualitative approach through the design of phenomenology. The factual data is gained through in depth interviews, observation and study of documentation with the researchers acting as the key instrument. The validity of the data is maintained by using the source triangulation technique, triangulation of methods, and triangulation of theory. The data are analyzed through the process of reduction, presentation, verification, and paradigmatic theory analysis by using the perspective of the theory of socio-culture, aesthetic of crafting art, and adaptation. This research resulted some points, first is the characteristics of the community of pottery craft of Pagelaran that is heavily holding the Malangan local culture, yet the Javanese culture still heavily attached especially in the behavior of mutual cooperation and the practice of traditional ceremony. Second, the presence of shifting of pottery shaping, technique, and the function of the pottery craft of Pagelaran from the point that they are only making the traditional pottery products into making the creative and innovated pottery products. Third is the findings of two adaptation patterns that is done by the pottery craft community of Pagelaran, that is the functional adaptation pattern through the concept of revitalization and the adaptation pattern processual through the concept of reinterpretation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji fungsi dan urgensi pengembangan brand identity melalui ekosistem digital sebagai strategi untuk mendorong hilirisasi produk lokal secara berkelanjutan. Studi ini mengambil Batik Wenangkayana di Kediri sebagai objek kajian, dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan dokumentasi dari aktivitas produksi serta pemasaran batik lokal yang terintegrasi dalam platform digital. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa penguatan identitas merek tidak hanya diperlukan dalam aspek visual seperti logo, kemasan, dan gaya komunikasi, tetapi juga dalam narasi budaya yang mendasari filosofi dan keunikan produk. Melalui optimalisasi media sosial, website, katalog interaktif, serta pemanfaatan marketplace lokal-global, brand Batik Wenangkayana mengalami perluasan jangkauan pasar sekaligus penguatan citra merek berbasis kearifan lokal. Ekosistem digital terbukti memberikan peran strategis dalam mempercepat proses hilirisasi, menciptakan loyalitas konsumen, dan memperkuat posisi batik lokal dalam persaingan industri kreatif nasional. Studi ini menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan brand identity sebagai fondasi dalam keberlanjutan produk lokal melalui pendekatan digital yang adaptif dan terstruktur.

Abstract

Industri batik di Kediri, khususnya Batik Wenangkayana, memiliki potensi dalam menguatkan ekonomi lokal melalui kewirausahaan berbasis budaya. Namun, penggunaan bahan yang belum ramah lingkungan dan pengelolaan limbah yang belum optimal menjadi tantangan utama. Melalui program pengabdian masyarakat, diperkenalkan inovasi batik cap berbahan reuseable material guna membentuk pola kewirausahaan berkelanjutan yang ramah lingkungan. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus digunakan melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan, mencakup teknik produksi efisien dan penggunaan bahan alternatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen produksi. Hasil menunjukkan munculnya pola adaptif dan kolaboratif di kalangan pengrajin, peningkatan keterampilan, efisiensi produksi, dan pengurangan limbah. Kesadaran lingkungan dan nilai ekonomi budaya juga meningkat. Inovasi ini terbukti memiliki dampak positif dan berpotensi direplikasi sebagai strategi pelestarian budaya dan pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The development of tryout questions for the Teacher Professional Education in the field of Fine Arts is of high urgency because the quality of the questions greatly determines the participants predicted success in facing the Student Competency Test. This study aims to develop valid and reliable tryout instruments through a Research and Development (R&D) approach with psychometric procedures, including planning, writing, reviewing, and testing 35 questions (25 simple multiple choice and 10 complex multiple choice) to 87 students. Analysis was conducted on the level of difficulty, discrimination power, distractor effectiveness, validity, and reliability. The results showed that the distribution of questions was not ideal, with a dominance of easy questions, few difficult questions, and low discrimination variation. Of the total items, 18 could be used without revision, 9 needed revision, and 8 were discarded. Validity showed that 20 questions were classified as good, while 15 were not yet valid, and the overall reliability of the test was high (? = 0.835). These findings confirm that although the instrument has high reliability, the quality of the items still requires significant revision to meet psychometric standards. Thus, the developed instrument has the potential to be an effective predictive tool for the readiness of Fine Arts students, while also contributing to improving the quality of teacher professional education assessment in Indonesia.

Abstract

                This study aims to examine the implications of the relationship between the Teacher Curatorial Studies Program (TCSP) learning model that is integrated with gallery residency in improving  the curatorial competence of cultural arts teachers. The TCSP model is designed to provide practical experiences through collaboration with art galleries that allow teachers to be directly involved in the curatorial process, including exhibition management and the drafting of artistic concepts. This study uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interview data collection techniques and observations of cultural arts teachers who participate in this program. The results show that the integration of gallery residencies enriches teachers' learning experiences in terms of organizing exhibitions, managing artworks, and effective visual communication. With hands-on mentoring and hands-on experience in the gallery, teachers' curatorial competence has significantly improved, which is reflected in their ability to design and present art exhibitions in schools. In addition, this model also contributes to increasing teachers' understanding of the importance of managing artworks that are contextual and relevant to local cultural dynamics. Overall, TCSP integrated gallery residencies proved effective in strengthening the curatorial skills of cultural arts teachers, which in turn had a positive effect on the quality of art teaching in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in art education as an effort to enhance the creativity and artistic understanding of Animation Department students at SMK Negeri 2 Palu. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving animation students and supervising teachers as research subjects. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and reflective analysis during the teaching assistance program. The learning implementation was carried out through the introduction of traditional, modern, and contemporary art concepts integrated with practice-based creative project activities. The findings indicate that the application of PjBL significantly increased students’ active engagement in the learning process, strengthened their conceptual understanding of visual arts, and improved their ability to express creative ideas through visual works. Furthermore, the establishment of the “Kreasi Animasi Seni Budaya” community provided a collaborative space that supported the sustainable development of students’ creativity and artistic reflection. These findings demonstrate that project-based art learning is effective in optimizing the artistic competencies.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a Digital Curation learning model in the PPG Information System of Arts and Culture which functions to organize, manage, and present student works in an integrated manner. The main problem raised is the lack of a structured learning system in archiving and exhibiting students' works digitally as part of the reflective and curatorial learning process. This research uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, which focuses on the initial three stages: Analysis, Design, and Development. In the analysis stage, a needs study was carried out through observation, interviews, and analysis of learning documents, which shows the importance of digital curation learning in the context of art. The design stage produces a design of a digital curation-based learning model that includes the flow of curatorial activities, a digital platform for work archives, and learning reflection instruments. In the development stage, an initial prototype of a web-based digital system was developed that allows students to systematically upload, organize, and present works with tagging, cataloging, and multimedia presentation features. The results of the development show that this model has the potential to support students' digital literacy skills, work documentation, and visual communication in an integrative manner.
