Abstract

Poor employee performance needs further investigation. Ideally, employees that perform optimally indicate their qualified self-identities. This research aims to find out, explain, and analyze the leadership of the head of service and communication toward motivation and performance of educational authority employees in Nagekeo municipality, NTT. This research is quantitative research with Path Analysis.The quantitative approach allows this research to investigate the causalities of several influential factors toward employees' performances. The population of this research consisted of forty educational authority employees in Nagekeo municipality. The data were collected through questionnaire and documentary study. Then, the data would be validated to check their reliability. The applied data analysis technique was hypothesis test assisted by SPSS. Then, the data were analyzed by Path Analysis and assisted by SPSS. The findings showed that the head of the agency, communication, and motivation influenced directly to the employees' performances. Leadership and communication, moderated by motivation, did not directly influence the performance. Therefore, this research recommends that: (1) the head of service and communication, with all his authorities, could improve his supervision toward the employees, (2) the employees should optimally perform for the sake of better educational advancement in Nagekeo. Abstract

The new paradigm in the era of globalization of education is to prioritize the quality and relevance of education to support global competition, so that the application of the Total Quality Management model in the training program and the achievement of service quality dimension in education is the implementation step of Total Quality Management. The purposes of this study to analyze and describe the application of Total Quality Management models, the quality dimensions of training services as a form of customer satisfaction achievement of Sewing Training at the Balai Latihan Kerja Dinas Tenaga Kerja, Perindustrian, Koperasi Usaha Kecil dan Menengah Kabupaten Kudus. This research used qualitative descriptive approach method with direct research data source on research subject by using snowballing sampling method. Technique of collecting research data through interview, observation, Focus Group Discussion, documentation. The results of this study describe that the Deming model, Crosby model, and Juran Model were implemented in training programs. The conclusion of this study describes the implementation of Total Quality Management in the training program applies various models of Total Quality Management, carried out continuously to improve the quality of training implementation and achieve customer satisfaction through the achievement of the quality dimension of training services.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis profil orang miskin yang rawan kriminalitas di Kota Semarang; memformulasikan strategi pemberdayaan masyarakat dan merumuskan desain model pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui jalur pendidikan nonformal. Data primermelalui wawancara kepada responden dan key-persons. Multistage sampling dipilih 30 orang miskin yang menganggur, diantara mereka adalah 11 kepala rumah tangga. Data sekunder dari data penduduk miskin yang menganggur dan berpotensi, berlokasi di Kecamatan Semarang Utara. Data juga dikumpulkan terkait dari sumber  jurnal, buku, dan hasil penelitian terdahulu yang relevan. Statistik deskriptif digunakan untuk menggambarkan profil orang miskin yang menganggur dan berpotensi. Profil masyarakat miskin yang menganggur di Kota Semarang, pada dasarnya dibedakan menjadi fisik dan nonfisik. Secara fisik kemiskinan berupa status kepemilikan rumah, milik sendiri dan milik orang lain (kontrak); status kepemilikan tanah, hak milik dan milik negara; kondisi rumah yaitu layak dan tidak layak, dan asset yang dimiliki berupa meja kursi, almari, serta televisi. Adapun secara nonfisik berupa pendapatan, pekerjaan, potensi yang dimiliki, kebutuhan air bersih, kebutuhan pokok, kesehatan maupun rekreasi. Strategi pemberdayaan masyarakat miskin yang menganggur, dapat diformulasikan melalui supply lebih kecil dari demand, supply sama dengan demand, dan supply lebih tinggi atau tidak sama dengan demand. Model pemberdayaannya mendukung kinerja agen pembaharu dalam melaksanakan program kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat.

Abstract

Songket fabric weaving training was conducted to empower poor women with the hope that they can overcome the family economy, acquire skills, and be able to become independent individuals. The objectives of this study were (a) to describe and analyze the program planning of songket fabric weaving training, (b) to describe and analyze the process of songket fabric weaving training, (c) to describe and analyze the success of songket fabric weaving training, (d) describe and analyze inhibiting and supporting factors in songket fabric weaving training. The approach used in this research was qualitative approach. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants consisted of two tutors and three training participants. The results of this study show that (1) the training program planning was arranged according to the needs of the participants, (2) the training process was directed in accordance with the materials by employing adult learning methods, (3) the success of the training had different achievement standards, (4) internal and external factors became obstacles and supporters of songket fabric weaving training as competence of tutors, enthusiastic participants, assistance from non-governmental, market needs and lack of available tools. Weaving cloth training will be carried out with maximum if the trainer has the ability and spirit in learning. Andragogy learning methods are tailored to the needs of learners. In addition, support from the community in training support. In addition to the training, need to think about the market needs so that the training products can be sold to the community. The benefit of this research is as a reference in conducting the training should use andragogy in learning so that the training according to the needs of students and get results more effective and efficient.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis manajemen pembelajaran program paket C di PKBM Bangkit Kota Semarang dan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis hasil pembelajaran program paket C di PKBM Bangkit Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian yaitu 2 pendidik/tutor dan 5 warga belajar program paket C, sementara informan yaitu Ketua Penyelenggara program Paket C. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Teknik analisis data dengan tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa manajemen pembelajaran di PKBM Bangkit memiliki tahapan yaitu perencanaan pembelajaran, proses pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Perencanaan diawali dengan analisis kebutuhan, tujuan  pembelajaran  hingga penentuan kurikulum yang akan digunakan.  Proses pembelajaran terdapat 3 kegiatan yang harus dilakukan yaitu kegiatan pembuka sebelum pembelajaran dilaksanakan, kegiatan  inti (kegiatan ini adalah kegiatan interaksi penyampain materi dari pendidik ke warga belajar), dan yang terakhir adalah kegiatan penutup(kegiatan untuk mengakhiri pembelajaran). Teknik yang digunakan dalam evaluasi berupa teknik tes dan nontes. Proses pembelajaran yang telah dilaksanakan memiliki dampak yang dirasakan oleh warga belajar, hasil pembelajaran dapat dirasakan melalui perubahan sikap (afektif), pengetahuan (kognitif) warga belajar setelah proses pembelajaran selesai.This study aims to describe and analyze the learning management program at CLC package C Rise of Semarang and describe and analyze the results of the learning program at CLC package C Risen Semarang. This study used a qualitative approach to data collection technique through interview, observation and documentation. The subjects of research that is second educator / tutor and 5 people learn C programming package, while informers namely Chief Organizer Pack program C. Validity of data using triangulation source. Data analysis techniques to the stage of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The research concludes that at CLC learning management have risen namely planning stages of learning, learning, learning and evaluation. Planning begins with needs analysis, learning objectives to determine curriculum that will be used. The learning process there are three activities that must be done that is opening before the learning activities carried out, the core activities (activities are activities penyampain material interaction of educators to the learners), and the last one is the closing (to end the activities of learning). Techniques used in the form of engineering evaluation tests and nontes. The learning process has been implemented had the impact is felt by the citizens of learning, learning outcomes can be felt through changes in attitude (affective), knowledge (cognitive) residents learned after the learning process is completed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui proses pelaksanaan literasi berbasis kewirusahaan usaha mandiri (KUM) melalui PKBM di Kota Semarang, kendala yang dihadapi,dan model pemberdayaan masyarakat untuk peningkatan pelaksanaan literasi berbasis KUM melalui PKBM.Data primer dikumpulkan melalui wawancara kepada responden dan key-persons. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif bertujuan melihat proses serta kendala pemberdayaan literasi berbasis kewirausahaan usaha mandiri (KUM). Data sekunder dari data penduduk yang telah melakukan pembelajaran literasi di Kota Semarang. Proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran program literasi berbasis KUM berjalan baik sesuai dengan petunjuk teknis yang ada diawali dari persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pendekatan yang digunakan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, cukup fleksibel sesuai dengan kebutuhan warga belajar, potensi lokal, maupun pangsa pasar. Materi pembelajaran selain sesuai potensi lokal dan pangsa pasar juga mengikuti modul yang telah disediakan oleh pemerintah, dan evaluasi dilakukan tahap demi tahap.Kendala program pelatihan ini pada dasarnya tidak ada hal-hal yang krusial, mengingat kendala yang dihadapi hanya terjadinya perubahan waktu pembelajaran,namun dapat diselesaikan antara tutor dan warga belajar dengan cara musyawarah dan mufakat.Model pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui literasi dan KUM melalui PKBM dapat terbangun dari berbagai macam bahan kajian, FGD, serta hasil penelitian melalui wawancara di lapangan. Sehingga model ini dapat dipergunakan bagi PKBM.

Abstract

The success of education and training is determined from all components themselves. E-training as a medium of education and training is one of the aspects of achieving the goals of education and training effectively and efficiently. The purpose of this study is to analyze the e-training based on Determination of Education and Training Models of Early Childhood Teachers Education Programs. This research approach is a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). This research was carried out at the Center for Early Childhood Education and Society Education Education in Central Java. The respondents of this study were Early Childhood teachers who attended e-training based education and training which number were 183 respondents in total by using non-probability sampling techniques. Data collection technique used was questionnaire. Data analysis technique was using SEM AMOS software. The results of the study show that individual differences, job analysis and principles of learning indirectly have a positive and insignificant effect on the effectiveness of education and training through the use of e-training. Motivation, active participation, trainer competence, indirect training methods indirectly have a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of training through the use of e-training. E-training has a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of training

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hambatan internal (kelemahan) maupun eksternal (tantangan) pengembangkan desa wisata batik Desa Babagan, merumuskan strategi alternatif serta keberadaan showroom dalam merespon terbentuknya koperasi. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini pengumpulan datanya menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber, metode dan teori. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model interaktif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari pengrajin batik, kepala desa dan tokoh masyarakat. Simpulan yang didapatkan masih banyaknya kelemahan Desa Babagan sebagai desa wisata batik karena memang baru tahun 2015 diresmikan. Tantangan terbesar terletak pada penekanan budaya batik lokal bagi masyarakat luas.  Adapun Strategi alternatifnya dengan mendorong masyarakat dan pemerintah menciptakan iklim kondusif bagi berkembangnya kegiatan wisata sekaligus masyarakat menjadi pelaku sektor kepariwisataan dan penguatan usaha, mengikutsertakan masyarakat berbagai kegiatan, pemerintah dilibatkan setidaknya sebagai donatur penyelenggara kegiatan, diadakannya pelatihan berbasis hardskill dan softskill serta pembinaan dan pendampingan dari dinas terkait, pelatihan mengenai strategi pengelolaan usaha serta pemasaran, menata kembali organisasi pengelola desa wisata batik, rekondisi pengelolaan showroom sekaligus sebagai koperasi. Begitu pula yang terjadi pada showroom dapat merespon terbentuknya koperasi, dikarenakan pengelolaan showroom tersebut telah terjadi kegiatan menuju terbentuknya pra koperasi. Namun, hal yang menjadi perhatian yaitu masih kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat adanya keberadaan koperasi berikut pula pemanfaatannya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan pengaruh persiapan pelayanan, pengaruh pelaksanaan pelayanan, pengaruh pengembangan model pelayanan terhadap kepuasan masyarakat dan menjelaskan pengaruh persiapan, pelaksanaan, pengembangan model pelayanan terhadap kepuasan masyarakat. Penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan survey. Populasi berjumlah 545 orang, Sampel berjumlah 55 orang, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling. Persiapan PelayananX1, Pelaksanaan PelayananX2, Pengembangan Model PelayananX3 dan Kepuasan MasyarakatY. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Data dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian analisis data statistik diperoleh bentuk regresi adalah Y =27,534+0,269x1+ 0,125x2 –0.401x3. Hasil perhitungan probabilitas X1 sebesar 0,001, atau Sig 0,0010,05 maka Ha1 diterima yang berbunyi“Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan variabel persiapan pelayanan terhadap kepuasan masyarakat”sumbangan pengaruh variabel persiapan pelayanan 15,6%. Hasil perhitungan probabilitas X2 sebesar 0,037 atau Sig 0,0370,05 maka Ha2 diterima yang berbunyi“Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara pelaksanaan pelayanan terhadap kepuasan masyarakat dalam program KB”. sumbangan pengaruh variabel pelaksanaan pelayanan yaitu 12,7%. Hasil perhitungan probabilitas X3 sebesar 0,049 atau Sig 0,0490,05 maka Ha3diterima yang berbunyi“Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan variabel pengembangan model pelayanan terhadap kepuasan masyarakat”sumbangan pengaruh variabel pengembangan model pelayanan yaitu 5%. Sedangkan kontribusi secara bersama variabel independen sebesar 26,5%. Simpulan : ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan variabel persiapan, pelaksanaan dan pengembangan model pelayanan terhadap kepuasan masyarakat.This study aims to explain the influence of preparation services, influence service implementation, influence the development of a model of service to the satisfaction of the people and explain the influence of the preparation, implementation, development model of service to the community satisfaction. Data collected were analyzed by multiple regression. Results of research statistical data analysis obtained form the regression is Y = 27.534 + 0,269x1 + 0,125x2 -0.401x3. X1 probability calculation result of 0.001, or 0.001 Sig 0.05 then Ha1 accepted that reads "There is a positive and significant influence of preparation variable of service to the community satisfaction" donation variables influence the preparation of services 15.6%. X2 probability calculation results for 0,037 or 0,037 Sig 0.05 then Ha2 accepted that reads "There is a positive and significant influence between the implementation of services to satisfaction of the people in the program". donations variables influence the implementation of services that is 12.7%. Probability calculation results X3 for 0,049 or 0,049 Sig 0.05 then Ha3diterima which reads "There is a significant and positive influence development variables to satisfaction of the public service model" donation variables influence the development of a service model that is 5%. While the contribution of jointly independent variable was 26.5%. Conclusion: there is a positive and significant influence of variables preparation, implementation and development of a model of service to the community satisfaction.

Abstract

The aims of this study were: (a) to analyze the direct effect of knowledge on the motivation of Couple of Reproductive Age, (b) to analyze the direct effect of socio-economic status on Couple of Reproductive Age motivation, (c) to analyze the direct effect of knowledge on Couple of Reproductive Age participation, (d) to analyze the direct effect of socio-economic status on Couple of Reproductive Age participation, (e) Analyzing the indirect effect of knowledge on the participation of PUS through motivation, (f) Analyzing the indirect effect of socioeconomic status on the participation of PUS through motivation. The research approach was quantitative. Data collecting technique was done by observation and questioner. The Couple of Reproductive Age population on the age of 30-45 years old in Juwiring is 3.086 and the number of sample was 248 respondents. The data analyzed by using Path Analysis test. The results of the study were: (a) There was significant effect of knowledge level to the motivation in Family Planning (26.10%), (b) There was significant effect of socio-economic status to the motivation in Family Planning (24,10%), (c) There was significant effect of knowledge level on the participation of PUS in Family Planning (67%), (d) There was significant effect between socioeconomic status on PUS participation in Family Planning (19.60%), (e) Motivation was able to mediate the Effect of Knowledge Level on PUS Participation in Family Planning, (f) Motivation was able to mediate the effect of Socio-economic Status to Participation of PUS in Family Planning.
