Abstract

Tulisan ini bermaksud melakukan telaah empiris model prasangka sosial mahasiswa Islam di Indonesia Timur terhadap umat Kristiani ditinjau dari kematangan beragama, pengetahuan agama, dan sifat kebaikan hati. Dengan menggunakan alat ukur berupa skala prasangka, skala kematangan beragama, skala pengetahuan agama, dan skala kebaikan hati, penelitian ini dilakukan pada mahasiswa Islam di Indonesia Timur (Ambon, Jayapura) yang berjumlah 203 mahasiswa. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik structural equation modeling (SEM) program Lisrel 8.8. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pengaruh kematangan beragama dan pengetahuan relasi Muslim-non Muslim terhadap prasangka sosial melalui sifat kebaikan hati pada mahasiswa Islam bersifat fit atau cocok dengan data empiris. Variabel kematangan beragama memengaruhi prasangka sosial secara langsung maupun melalui sifat kebaikan hati. Variabel pengetahuan agama memengaruhi prasangka sosial secara langsung, namun tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap sifat kebaikan hati. Variabel kebaikan hati memengaruhi prasangka sosial secara langsung. Katakunci: Prasangka terhadap umat Kristen, kematangan beragama, pengetahuan agama,  sifat kebaikan hati This paper is attempted to empirically analyze the model of social prejudice by Muslim students towards Christian community viewed by religious maturity and religious knowledge, as well as agreeableness. Using the measuring equipment such as scales of prejudice, religious maturity, religious knowledge, and agreeableness, this research is done to Muslim students in East Indonesia (Ambon, Jayapura) as many as 203 students. Data is analyzed with the technique of Structural Equation Model (SEM) program Lisrel 8.8. The result of the research showed that the model of influence of religious maturity and knowledge relationships of Muslim-non Muslim towards social prejudice through agreeableness within Muslim students fit or suitable with the data. The variable of religious maturity influenced the social prejudice directly or through agreeableness. The variable of religious knowledge influenced the social prejudice directly. However it did not influence agreeableness. Abstract

Abstrak. Lanjut usia merupakan salah satu masa perkembangan yang ditandai dengan menurunnya fungsi fisik, psikologis, dan sosial. Penurunan fungsi tersebut dapat menurunkan kualitas hidup lansia. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup lansia, diperlukan sebuah dukungan sosial dan strategi koping dalam menghadapi perubahan yang terjadi. Strategi koping yang dapat digunakan adalah sabar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara sabar dan dukungan sosial terhadap kualitas hidup lansia di Yogyakarta. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 24 laki-laki dan 34 perempuan yang diperoleh dengan purposive sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan The World Health Organization Quality of Life (WHOQOL) skala sabar, dan Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS). Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dan korelasi pearson. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sabar dan dukungan sosial berkorelasi positif dengan kualitas hidup lansia. Dengan kata lain, kualitas hidup dapat diprediksi berdasarkan kesabaran dan dukungan sosial.Kata kunci: kualitas hidup, sabar, dukungan sosial, lansia Abstrack. Elderly is one of development periods characterized by physical, psychological, and social degeneration that can decrease the quality of life. Quality of life can be improved by social support and sabr as a coping strategy to overcome the problems that occur in elderly periods. This research aimed to analyze the correlation between sabr and social support with quality of life of elders in Yogyakarta. The number of subjects is 24 men and 34 women which is chosen by purposive sampling. Data was collected by The World Health Organization Quality of Life (WHOQOL), patience instrument, and Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS). Multiple linear regression was used to analyze multivariate correlation and pearson correlation was used to analyze the bivariate correlation. This suggest that there was a significant positive correlation between sabr, social support and quality of life of elders. In the other words, quality of life can be predicted based on sabr and social support. Keyword : Quality of life, Patience, Social Support, Elderly

Abstract

Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh pelatihan kebersyukuran dalam menurunkan stres kerja guru di sekolah inklusi. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah tingkat stres kerja kelompok yang diberi perlakuan pelatihan kebersyukuran lebih rendah daripada kelompok yang tidak diberi perlakuan pelatihan kebersyukuran. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan untreated control group design with dependent prates and postetst dengan menambahkan tindak lanjut. Responden penelitian sebanyak 14 orang yang terbagi ke dalam 7 orang kelompok eksperimen dan 7 orang kelompok kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur stres kerja guru dengan koefisien reabilitas sebesar 0,873. Modul pelatihan kebersyukuran disusunberdasarkan tiga aspek kebersyukuran (Al-Munajjid, 2006; Al-Jauziyyah, 2010), yakni niat (hati), ucapan (lisan), dan perbuatan (anggota badan). Data dianalisis menggunakan Anava Mixed Design untuk melihat perbedaan skor dalam kelompok (prates, pascates, dan tindak lanjut) serta perbedaan skor antar kelompok (eksperimen dan kontrol). Hasil analisis data menunjukkan adanya perbedaan skor yang signifikan pada prates, pascates, dan tindak lanjut antar kedua kelompok. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan skor F = 7,393 dan p = 0,003 (p<0,05). Selain itu, terdapat penurunan tingkatstres kerja pada kelompok eskperimen secara signifikan (MD = 13,857 dan p = 0,012), sementara pada kelompok kontrol terjadi peningkatan stres kerja (MD = -6,571 dan p = 0,189). Artinya, kelompok eksperimen mengalami penurunan tingkat stres kerjasetelah diberi pelatihan kebersyukuran sementara kelompok kontrol yang tidak diberi pelatihan kebersyukuran mengalami peningkatan stres kerja. Selanjutnya, skor partial Eta Squared = 0,561 yang berarti bahwa pelatihan kebersyukuran memberikan kontribusi sebesar 56,1 % terhadap penurunan stres kerja guru.Kata kunci: Stres Kerja Guru, Pelatihan Kebersyukuran, Sekolah Inklusi This study examines the effect of gratitude training in reducing teachers work stress in inclusive schools. The hypothesis of this study is the group that given gratitude training has lower work stress than the group that did not receive gratitude training. This study was an experimental research that used the untreated control group design with dependent pretest and postetst added by follow-up. Participants of this study were 14 participants that divided into 2 groups (experimental group and control group). There are 7 participants in each group. This study used teacher stress inventory developed by Fimian (1988) that were modified by researchers with coefficient of reliability at 0,873. Gratitude training manuals were developed based on three aspects of gratitude according to Al-Munajjid, (2006) and Al-Jawziyyah (2010). Those three aspects are intention (liver), speech (verbal), and behavior (physically). The data were analyzed using Mixed Design Anova to determine the differences of pretest, pascates, and follow-up’s score, and the different between experimental and controlled group’s score. The results showed a significant difference in work stress score at pretest, posttest, and follow-up between the experimental and controlled group (F = 7.393, p = 0.003 (p <0.05)). In addition, there was significant changes in work stress at experimental group (MD = 13.857 and p = 0.012), whereas in the control group there was no significant change (MD = -6.571 and p = 0.189). Those findings indicate that there was reduction in the level of work stress in the experimental group. Whereas the increase of work stress showed in the controlled group. Furthermore, a score partial Eta Squared = 0.561 indicates that the gratitude training contributed 56.1% to the reduction of teacher work stress.Keywords: teachers work stress, gratitude training, inclusive school

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepercayaan diri denganprestasi atlet Tae Kwon Do DIY (Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta). Dugaan awal yang diajukandalam penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan antara kepercayaan diri dengan prestasi atlet TaeKwon Do DIY. Semakin tinggi kepercayaan diri semakin tinggi pula prestasi yang dicapai.Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet Tae Kwon Do yang menempati juara satu, dua, dantiga dalam kejuaraan daerah Tae Kwon Do DIY yang diadakan di Auditorium UPN Yogyakarta.Skala yang digunakan adalah skala kepercayaan diri berdasarkan aspek yang dikemukukan olehKumara (1987). Prestasi Tae Kwon Do dilihat dari data hasil kejuaraan.Metode analisis data dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan fasilitas program SPSSversi 11 for windows. Teknik analisis menggunakan chi-square yang menunjukkan koefisien chisquare23,847 dengan p = 0,002 (p < 0,01) yang artinya ada hubungan yang signifikan antarakepercayaan diri dengan prestasi atlet Tae Kwon Do DIY. Jadi hipotesis penelitian diterima.Kata kunci: Kepercayaan diri, dukungan sosial, prestasi atlet.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of self efficacy training on students mathematics learning motivation. Subject in this research were 25 students of class IX SMP N "X" Sleman Yogyakarta, which are divided into 13 students as the experimental group and 12 students as the control group. The data was collected using a scale of mathematics motivation to learn and scale of self efficacy. The research design used was pre post control group design. Analysis of the study were quantitative and qualitative analysis. Quantitative analysis using the Mann – Whitney test to determine mathematics learning motivation after the self efficacy training given. The qualitative analysis was done based on observation, interviews and worksheets. The results of the research were used pre-test and post-test, showed that there was increased mathematics learning motivation after training given by the value of Z = -3.740 dan p = 0,000 (p < 0,05). In the pre-test and follow-up, showed that there was increased mathematics learning motivation after two weeks of training given by the value of Z = 1.989 dan p = 0,047 (p < 0,05). The conclusion of this research is the self efficacy training can increased students mathematics learning motivation class IX SMP N "X".

Abstract

Abstract: HIV/AIDS can emerge a number of issues that can lead to the deterioration quality of life to People Living with HIV/AIDS. The problems arising include  the poor physical condition, social pressure and psychological effects on people living with HIV/AIDS. One of the efforts that can be done to improve the quality of life ODHA is through the mindfulness training. Mindfulness is a set of structured activities in the form of mind meditation aimed to train the individual to develop the ability to focus the attention on the existing conditions, events and activities. This research aims to observe the effectiveness of mindfulness training to improve the quality of life to People Living with HIV/AIDS (ODHA). The participants consisted of five people as the subject. The design of this research used was One Group Pre-test Post-test. Intervention was given within two days. The measurement tool used was the  questionnaires of WHOQOL-HIV BREF developed by WHO (2017) that has been adapted into Indonesia Language by Muhammad, Shatri, Djoerban and Abdullah  (2017). Based on the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, it was found the value of Z = -2,023 with p = 0,043 meaning that mindfulness training was effective to improve the quality of life PLWHA.

Abstract

Lupus is an autoimmune disease that affects the physical condition and the individual's psychological. Lupus makes teenagers tend to have low subjective well-being. One of the intervention methods to improve personal well-being is through expressive writing. This research aims to observe the effectiveness of expressive writing to improve teenagers' subjective well-being with lupus. This research used one group pretest post-test design involving four people as the subjects (N=4). The data were collected using the measurement tools of Scale of Positive and Negative Experience (SPANE), Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS), interview, observation, and the results of the writing of the subjects during the therapy session. The results of the experimental research were in the form of quantitative analysis with the data analysis technique of the K-related sample test, showing no significant change to the scores of the subjective well-being among the subjects after given the therapy of expressive writing. However, the qualitative results showed that definitive writing therapy could be a catharsis media for teenagers with lupus. Therefore, we can conclude that expressive writing is less effective in improving subjective well-being but can be used as a catharsis media for teenagers with lupus.

Abstract

This study aims to observe the effectiveness of therapy of reflective-intuitive reading of Al-Fatihah in reducing the depression of autoimmune survivors. It used the quasi-experiment with the pre-test-posttest control group design – not non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects involved in this study were the female Moslems becoming the survivors of one of the autoimmune diseases. Here, the level of depression of the subject was measured using the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS) sub-test of depression developed by Lovibond and Lovibond, adapted into the Indonesian language. The implementation of the therapy refers to the module of reflective-intuitive reading of Al-Fatihah developed by the researcher and team by referring to the module owned by Maulana, Subandi and Astuti. Data analysis used the Mann Whitney U-Test to determine the difference in the depression level in the experimental group before and after the intervention compared to the control group. The study results showed that therapy of reflective-intuitive reading of Al-Fatihah effectively reduced the level of depression of autoimmune survivors after passing the changing process taking a particular time.

Artinya, kelompok eksperimen mengalami penurunan tingkat stres kerjasetelah diberi pelatihan kebersyukuran sementara kelompok kontrol yang tidak diberi pelatihan kebersyukuran mengalami peningkatan stres kerja. Selanjutnya, skor partial Eta Squared = 0,561 yang berarti bahwa pelatihan kebersyukuran memberikan kontribusi sebesar 56,1 % terhadap penurunan stres kerja guru.Kata kunci: Stres Kerja Guru, Pelatihan Kebersyukuran, Sekolah Inklusi This study examines the effect of gratitude training in reducing teachers work stress in inclusive schools. The hypothesis of this study is the group that given gratitude training has lower work stress than the group that did not receive gratitude training. This study was an experimental research that used the untreated control group design with dependent pretest and postetst added by follow-up. Participants of this study were 14 participants that divided into 2 groups (experimental group and control group). There are 7 participants in each group. This study used teacher stress inventory developed by Fimian (1988) that were modified by researchers with coefficient of reliability at 0,873. Gratitude training manuals were developed based on three aspects of gratitude according to Al-Munajjid, (2006) and Al-Jawziyyah (2010). Those three aspects are intention (liver), speech (verbal), and behavior (physically). The data were analyzed using Mixed Design Anova to determine the differences of pretest, pascates, and follow-up’s score, and the different between experimental and controlled group’s score. The results showed a significant difference in work stress score at pretest, posttest, and follow-up between the experimental and controlled group (F = 7.393, p = 0.003 (p <0.05)). In addition, there was significant changes in work stress at experimental group (MD = 13.857 and p = 0.012), whereas in the control group there was no significant change (MD = -6.571 and p = 0.189). Those findings indicate that there was reduction in the level of work stress in the experimental group. Whereas the increase of work stress showed in the controlled group. Furthermore, a score partial Eta Squared = 0.561 indicates that the gratitude training contributed 56.1% to the reduction of teacher work stress.Keywords: teachers work stress, gratitude training, inclusive school
