Abstract

Penelitian inibertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara regulasi diri dan perilaku agresif pada remajalaki-laki. Penelitian ini menggunakan total responden sebanyak 118 siswa berusia 14–17tahun. Pengukuran regulasi diri menggunakan Self Regulation Questionnaire danpengukuran perilaku agresif menggunakan Aggresive Questionnaire. Penelitian inimenggunakan uji korelasi nonparametrik Spearman. Uji korelasi menunjukkan bahwaterdapat korelasi antara regulasi diri dan perilaku agresif yang dapat dilihat dari hasilkoefisien korelasi r = -0.399 dan koefisien signifikansi p = 0.000 (p < 0,05). Kesimpulandari penelitian ini adalah terdapat korelasi positif yang signifikan antara regulasi diri danperilaku agresif pada remaja laki-laki.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between spiritual intelligence  and bullying tendency. The hypothesis submitted that there was negative relationship between spiritual intelligence  and bullying tendency in Nngaglik 1 Junior high school students. The higher spiritual intelligence correlated with lower bullying tendency and opposite. The subject on this study is 117 students grade 1 and 2 Ngaglik 1 Junior high school. Their age range from 10 to 14 years old. Data were collected by two scale, there are spiritual intelligence modified by Ikasari (2002) based on Zohar and Marshall (2000)  and bullying tendency scale modified by Rigby (Fleming, 2002). Method of correlation with SPSS 19 for windows. The result shoed that there was a significany relationship between spiritual intelligence  and bullying tendency (r=-0,472 with p =0.000(p,0,01>. This shows that higher  spiritual intelligence correlated with lower bullying tendency. The spiritual intelligence contribute as much as 22,3%.

Abstract

This study intends to get an overview of the themes and processes of religious experience in Islamic religious education teachers. Data disclosure of research respondents, namely religious teachers, was carried out using in-depth interviews. The results showed that the research respondents had a variety of religious experiences, both physiological, social-psychological, parapsychological, and spiritual. Among the various experiences above, the most prominent theme is the themes of experience of the mind. Various spiritual experiences take place through a process that involves socio-cultural conditions, opportunities, difficulties and challenges of life, worship such as praying, tahajjud prayer, diligent prayer, timely prayer, positive behavior or attitude towards others, and the nearest social environment such as brothers, uncles / mother, and so on.

Abstract

This study aimed to observe the correlation of family functionality and moral disengagement among the adolescents mediated by religiosity. It involved the adolescents (N =263) aged from 13 to 17 years old. The measurement tools used in this study included the scale of family functionality using family assessment device (FAD) made by Epstein et al. (1983), The scale of Indonesian-Psychological Measurement of Islamic Religiousness (I-PMIR) arranged by Salsabila et al. (2019), and Mechanisms of Moral Disengagement developed by Bandura et al. (1996). Correlation coefficient showed that the family functionality was correlated with religiosity and moral disengagement. In contrast, religiosity was negatively correlated with moral disengagement. Analysis used Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) program AMOS 24, The results of this study showed that the religiosity fully mediated the correlation of family functionality and moral disengagement. The implementation of this study showed that to decrease the level of moral disengagement among adolescents there should be the involvement of communication among the family members and parents need to embed the religious values in family and make the adolescents to habitually do the order that has been suggested by religion.

Abstract

One of the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the education and family sector is that children are required to study from home (SFH) or online. This condition makes the burden of a mother's responsibility increase because she has to be both a mother and a teacher for her children, where these demands cause mothers to experience parenting stress. This study aims to determine how big the contribution of Islamic religious coping variables and partner support to parenting stress. This study used quantitative research methods with a three-variable correlation research design. The research respondents were 319 mothers in Indonesia with an age range between 26 and 51 years old. The measuring instrument used is Islamic religious coping short-form (IRCS) Raiya (2008), Receipt of Spousal Support Scale (RSSS) from Dorio (2010), and the Parenting Stress Scale (PSS) from Berry and Jones (1995). The research data were analyzed using the SPSS 26 statistical analysis program with multiple linear regression test techniques to answer the research hypothesis. The results showed that there was a significant negative contribution of Islamic religious coping and partner support to parenting stress for mothers who accompanied SFH children in the COVID-19 pandemic situation.

Abstract

This study aims to increase resilience in mothers who have thalassemia children with support group therapy. Respondents in this study were eight mothers of thalassemia patients who were divided into control groups and experimental groups. The scale used in this study is the Modified Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design with follow-up. Data obtained in the study were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney nonparametric test to compare scores between groups given Therapy Support Groups and groups not given intervention. The results showed that there were differences in resilience scores between the control group and the experimental group after being given Support Group Therapy, with p = 0.024 (p <0.05). This study concluded that support group therapy was effective for increasing resilience in mothers who had children with thalassemia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a decrease in blood pressure and an increase in peace of soul after dhikr training being given to the elderly who suffer from hypertension. Subjects in this study were 9 elderly female people with the age range of 55-70 years. The method used in this research was experimental with pretest and posttest models. Training was conducted in 7 sessions. Measurements were performed before training (prettest) and after the training ended (posttest). Then the data was analyzed by Wilcoxon rank test using SPSS 16. Based on the data analysis, hypothesis test scores were Z = -2.627 and p = 0.008 (p <0.05). These results indicated a significant difference between the level of peace of soul in the delivery of training before and after training sessions.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of mindfulness teaching training in improving the subjective well-being of teachers in an inclusive school in Yogyakarta. This research used non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. There were 22 respondents which divided into 11 respondents for treatment group and 11 respondents for control group. They were asked to complete a survey consists of the satisfaction with life scale (SWLS) and positive and negative scale (PANAS) before and after experiment. The results showed that there is a significant difference between the subjective well-being of inclusive school teachers group given mindfulness teaching training and that of the teachers in the teachers group without mindfulness teaching training. This finding indicates that mindfulness teaching training was effective to improve inclusive school teachers’ subjective well-being.

Islamic Psychology has a view that religiousness has impact to creativity. Fervent belief, diligent worship, charities and fervent religous experience are proved to enabled man to get creative idea that has higher or more eternal thruth level. Creativity certainly gives impact to the glory of Islamic society.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kualitas tidur dan kualitas mimpiantara mahasiswa pria dan mahasiswa wanita. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah (a) adaperbedaan kualitas tidur antara mahasiswa laki-laki dan mahasiswa perempuan,mahasiswawanita memiliki kualitas tidur yang lebih tinggi dibanding mahasiswa laki-laki, dan (b) adaperbedaan kualitas mimpi antara mahasiswa laki-laki dan mahasiswa perempuan, mahasiswawanita memiliki kualitas mimpi yang lebih tinggi dibanding mahasiswa laki-laki.Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Skala Kualitas Tidur danSkala Kualitas Mimpi. Alat ukur Skala Kualitas Tidur dan Skala Kualitas Mimpidirumuskan berdasarkan teori kualitas tidur yang disusun oleh penulis. Subjek penelitian iniadalah 319 mahasiswa Universitas Islam Indonesia Yogyakarta, yang berasal dari delapanfakultas (psikologi, kedokteran, matematika dan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi industri, teksniksipil dan perencanaan, ilmu agama islam, hukum, dan ekonomi).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (a) ada perbedaan kualitas tidur antara mahasiswa priadan wanita; mahasiswa wanita memiliki kualitas tidur yang lebih tinggi dibanding mahasiswalaki-laki, dan (b) tidak ada perbedaan kualitas mimpi antara mahasiswa pria dan wanita.Kata kunci:    kualitas tidur, kualitas mimpi, jenis kelamin
