Abstract

The rapid advancement in technology has increased the use of abbreviations in online media advertisements. To capture the attention of target audiences who tend to have limited time and attention spans, abbreviations can be an effective approach. However, improper or excessive use of abbreviations can make the intended information unclear or even confuse the audience. Therefore, the author intends to conduct research on the use of abbreviations in advertisements on social media and its impact on the abilities of eighth-grade students in middle school. Through this research, it is hoped that findings will enrich understanding of the analysis or abbreviation processes and identify the types of abbreviations used. This study applies a qualitative descriptive approach. In this research, the data used consist of all Indonesian vocabulary, sentences, or phrases in advertisements available on social media. The research utilizes data collection techniques such as free observation and note-taking. Based on the data analysis and discussion, two conclusions can be drawn: First, this research identifies four types of abbreviations in social media advertisements: 69 acronyms, 31 initialisms, 11 truncations, and 18 letter symbols. Second, the research identifies 18 abbreviation processes within them.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka has changed the paradigm of education in Indonesia which requires prospective biology teachers, to have better personal abilities and digital literacy. This study aims to evaluate the effect of microteaching practices on the personal abilities of prospective biology teachers and digital literacy. This research uses qualitative methods, with purposive samples, where the samples used are eight prospective Biology teacher students from the Biology Education Study Program IKIP PGRI Pontianak for the 2022/2023 academic year who attended Microteaching lectures. The assessment is carried out in three stages, namely evaluation of lesson plan, evaluation of microteaching implementation, and evaluation of personal competence and digital literacy during microteaching. In addition, an assessment of students' digital literacy skills was also carried out. The research results showed an increase in the personal abilities of each prospective biology teacher student in planning learning according to the Kurikulum Merdeka format. Personal abilities can also be reflected in dressing, speaking, and behaving as a professional teacher. The results of the digital literacy assessment show that students have excellent abilities in utilizing digital technology for learning. The practice of microteaching has a significant influence on the personal abilities and digital literacy of prospective Biology teachers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan makna kehidupan dalam lirik-lirik lagu album "Fabula" karya Mahalini dengan menjelaskan penanda dan petanda dalam lirik-lirik lagu tersebut dan menerapkannya dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang dianut oleh Ferdinand De Saussure. Data penelitian berasal dari album Mahalini "Fabula" yang dapat diakses di platform Spotify. Lirik dari album tersebut termasuk "Ini Laguku", "Buru-Buru", "Bawa Dia Kembali", "Putar Waktu", "Bohongi Hati", "Melawan Restu", "Sial", "Sisa Rasa", "Pecahkan Hatiku”, dan “Kisah Sempurna”. Kajian pustaka digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data, memberikan pemahaman langsung tentang makna rasional melalui membaca lirik lagu, menemukan makna kehidupan menggunakan penanda dan petanda, mencatat data yang telah dianalisis, membuat langkah-langkah pembelajaran, dan menyusun kesimpulan penelitian. Analisis isi digunakan dalam metode analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makna kehidupan terdiri dari melakukan atau membuat karya, pengalaman atau bertemu orang, dan sikap terhadap penderitaan yang tak terelakkan. Lirik lagu "Sial", "Bohongi Hati", "Sisa Rasa", "Melawan Restu", dan "Kisah Sempurna" mengandung makna-makna tersebut yang menggambarkan bagaimana tindakan nyata, pengalaman emosional, dan penerimaan serta refleksi atas penderitaan memberikan pelajaran berharga dan makna dalam hidup yang digunakan sebagai alat untuk mengajar Bahasa Indonesia. Abstract

Education that takes place in the family carried out by parents as their duty and responsibility to educate in the family. The relationship between individuals in the family environment greatly affects the child's psyche and the impact will be seen until later when he reaches adulthood. A loving and conducive atmosphere for intellectual development that is successfully built in a family will make a child able to adapt to himself, his family and the surrounding community. The family as the first educational environment is very important in shaping the pattern of the child's personality, because in the family the child is first acquainted with values and norms. Family education provides basic knowledge and skills, religion and beliefs, moral values, social norms and views of life that students need to be able to play a role in the family and in society.

Abstract

Kesadaran diri dapat diartikan positif tatkala proses penemuan kesadaran    diri    tersebut    membawa    manusia    menuju    kearah    kesempurnaan karakter Islam . Pendidikan moral bukan sesuatu entitas abstraksi ide semata namun nyata dalam kehidupan sehari-hari yang harus diajarkan pada manusia. Pendidikan moral merupakan suatu wadah bagi sekolah untuk mendidik, mengajar dan melatih siswa agar mempunyai sikap dan berbuat atau bertingkah laku sesuai dengan nilainilai moral dan norma-norma yang ada di masyarakat. Tata tertib sekolah mengatur dan memberi petunjuk pedoman aturan atau hukum tingkah laku siswa terhadap moral yang baik. Tata tertib sekolah sebagai aturan hukum di dalamnya terkandung makna implementasi pendidikan moral untuk siswa dalam bertingkah laku

Abstract

 This research was conducted to describe the views of influential people in Tk Tok conversations around religious moderation. The ideas and subjects expressed by Mega influencers, Macro influencers, and Nano influencers are examined in this research using public opinion, the agenda-forming model, and the spiral of silence. This research methodology uses qualitative descriptive content analysis techniques. The keyword "religious moderation" in Vivo was used to search for research data. The majority of research findings are positive public perceptions of Tik Tok influencers. Five accounts on the nano-influencer account criticized religious moderation, while two accounts were neutral. The research results show that the majority of TikTok influencers' views on the subject of religious moderation are favorable. There are several influencer views including neutral, negative or positive opinions. Most of the public opinions from influencers on TikTok are positive. On the @basyasman00 account there are several negative comments, and 1 account has a neutral tone regarding religious moderation. The mass media agenda and the agenda of influencers on social media shape public opinion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum adanya modul tumbuhan biji berbasis Problem Based Learning berbantuan aplikasi PlantNet terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah di SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Ambawang sebagai bahan ajar cetak di kelas, sehingga membuat siswa menjadi kurang untuk belajar secara mandiri, karena selama proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas, guru lebih sering meminta siswa untuk mencatat materi dan mengerjakan soal dari buku paket yang telah tersedia di perpustakaan sekolah. Adapun pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung di dalam kelas terdapatnya kendala yaitu siswa memiliki kesulitan dalam mengenali berbagai macam tumbuhan biji. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian pengembangan modul tumbuhan biji berbasis Problem Based Learning berbantuan aplikasi PlantNet terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah di SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Ambawang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan modul tumbuhan biji dari aspek kevalidan dan keefektifan. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian pengembangan model ADDIE. Model pengembangan ADDIE terdiri dari 5 langkah yaitu Analisis (Analyze), Desain (Design), Pengembangan (Development), Implementasi (Implementation), Evaluasi (Evaluation). Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh melalui lembar validasi ahli materi dan lembar ahli media, angket respon siswa, dan tes berupa pretest dan posttest. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kevalidan modul berdasarkan pada lembar validasi materi berkategori sangat valid dan kevalidan modul berdasarkan pada lembar validasi media berkategori sangat valid, (2) keefektifan modul berdasarkan tes berupa pretest dan soal berkategorikan sedang. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul tumbuhan biji berbasis Problem Based Learning berbantuan aplikasi PlantNet terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah di SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Ambawang layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The Abhekalaghi tradition in Tempurejo is the social acculturation of the people there as a tradition that has been carried out from generation to generation in matchmaking of their children and marrying them off, but in its current developments, is this tradition still relevant in the perspective of Islamic law and Marriage Law No. 16 The year 2019 has provided a change in the implementation of marriage by giving a new norm in the form of limiting the age of marriage which makes this tradition still following the times and applicable legal provisions. Then the question arises: What is the background of the social acculturation of the Abhekalaghi tradition in carrying out marriages in the Tempurejo community, Jember. And how the implementation of this tradition is the perspective of Islamic law and Law No. 16 of 2019. The method used in this research is empirical juridical, a descriptive qualitative or field study using a sociology of law and legislation approach—data generated through direct interviews with the Tempurejo community for research sites. So, the results of research on the acculturation of the Abhekalaghi tradition in the Tempurejo community can be concluded that the background to this tradition is due to several factors such as economic factors, educational factors, local customs factors, parental factors, and social factors. Based on the view of Islamic law, the Abhekalaghi tradition is not prohibited because the 'Urf in this custom is more directed to 'Urf Hasan, which may be carried out following Islamic law that applies to that society. Then, we review Law No. 16 of 2019 regarding changes to Law No. 1 of 1974 concerning marriage, so we can see that many early marriages are being implemented because they are not following these regulations, which has led to an increase in dispensation for marriage in this society.

Abstract

Technology is needed in every industry because it can simplify the production process, improve production quality, and enhance the company's reputation in the sight of consumers. The cylinder counting activity at PT Batuah Energi Indonesia is still done manually, involving time and standardized estimation of LPG cylinder loads, which faces inaccuracy issues. In fact, PT Batuah Energi Indonesia has facilities that handle many LPG cylinders from various users and providers of LPG cylinders. While accurate cylinder counts are beneficial to the industry, companies need technology that can automatically calculate the number of filled LPG cylinders. Therefore, this study was carried out to demonstrate to students how to develop automatic tube counters using an infrared E18-D80NK as a tube detector, NodeMCU microcontrollers ESP8266 as controllers, Arduino IDE for developing programs, and IoT for remote monitoring. The developed device approach, specifically using the E18-D80NK infrared proximity sensor based on the NodeMCU ESP8266, can be coded using the Arduino IDE compiler. For the detection of the number of tubes, the E18-EN80K infrared sensor is used and data transmission wirelessly utilizes the Blynk application. The results of the automatic tube counter monitoring tool were successfully tested with a 100% accuracy rate, utilizing the E18-D80NK infrared sensor and NodeMCU microcontroller ESP8266, and can be monitored remotely using Blynk.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of women's existence representation in the novel "Terusir" by Hamka. The research data was collected using a qualitative descriptive method with a literary feminism approach. Data collection techniques included library research, reading, and note-taking. The data analysis employed a descriptive approach, involving data classification, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The findings of this study reveal the forms of women's existence representation in three aspects. Firstly, the character of the woman who displays Mariah's character as a woman who is honest, has a strong personality, is independent, never gives up, is patient, weak, afraid, kind, and resigns. Secondly, women's existence is manifested as a strategy of resistance, including their ability to work, become intellectuals, bring about social transformations, and refuse to be someone else. Thirdly, trigger factors for existence that are influenced by gender differences, giving rise to forms of gender injustice experienced by Mariah such as marginalization, subordination, stereotypes, violence, and workload.
