Abstract

ABSTRAK Emosi diketahui berdampak langsung atau tidak langsung pada kesehatan manusia secara umum, terhadap kinerja seseorang, capaian pembelajaran, termasuk juga motivasi dalam melakukan sesuatu. Dalam konteks studi pascasarjana, hal yang sering menjadi penyebab lambatnya mahasiswa menyelesaikan studi adalah tidak cepat tuntasnya penelitian dan penulisan tesis mereka. Penelitian-penelitian yang telah dilakukan tentang penyebab lambatnya penyelesaian tugas akhir berupa tesis ini adalah karena sering munculnya pemicu emosi negatif oleh pihak-pihak yang secara langsung terlibat kegiatan akademik di kampus, yang selanjutnya berdampak pada kelancaran pengerjaan tugas dimaksud. Lebih khusus lagi, penelitian yang dilakukan tim pengabdian ini baru saja menyelesaikan penelitian yang mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pemicu emosi mahasiswa selama mengerjakan tesis dan bagaimana pengaruhnya terhadap pengerjaan tesis mereka. Tentu kegiatan ini akan sangat penting untuk memberikan informasi kepada pihak terkait, yang selanjutnya akan menimbulkan kesadaran untuk dapat membantu mencegah timbulnya emosi negatif dan membantu munculnya emosi positif mahasiswa yang nantinya mempercepat selesainya tugas akhir mahasiswa di program Magister Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris. Disamping kontribusi pragmatis bagi mahasiwa di Program Studi tempat pengabdian ini dilakukan, luaran lain yang diharapkan adalah terdiseminasinya program pengabdian ini pada jurnal nasional atau prosiding internasional. ABSTRACT Emotions are known to have a direct or indirect impact on human health in general, affecting an individual's overall performance, learning achievements, and motivation in various activities. In the context of postgraduate studies, a common factor contributing to students' delayed completion is the slow progress of their research and thesis writing. Research on the reasons for the sluggish completion of final tasks, such as theses, reveals that a significant cause is the frequent emergence of negative emotional triggers from those directly involved in academic activities on campus, subsequently disrupting the smooth progress of these tasks. More specifically, a recent study conducted by this service team has just wrapped up research identifying the emotional triggers experienced by students while working on their theses and how these triggers influence the progress of their thesis work. This endeavor is crucial for providing information to relevant parties, fostering awareness, and helping to prevent the occurrence of negative emotions while promoting the emergence of positive emotions among students. This, in turn, expedites the completion of students' final tasks in the Master's Program in English Education. In addition to the practical benefits for students in the Program where this service is conducted, another expected outcome is the dissemination of this service program in national journals or international proceedings.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang bahasa Inggris yang efektif sebagaimana diharapkan dalam Education 4.0 adalah yang pembelajaran bahasa yang melibatkan siswa untuk berpartisipasi dan berkolaborasi dengan siswa lainnya di kelas secara lisan dan tulisan. Namun sebagian besar  guru Bahasa Inggris mengajar menggunakan metode mengajar teacher-centered yang mengakibatkan siswa pasif dan enggan untuk berpartisipasi dan berkolaborasi dengan siswa lain. Berdasarkan hal tersebut kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat bertujuan: 1) untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran yang melibatkan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam belajar melalui model pembelajaran kolaboratif dan partisipatif,  2) memecahkan salah satu permasalahan utama yang dihadapi guru-guru bahasa Inggris terkaiti rendahnya motivasi dan kemampuan siswa dalam berkolaborasi, berpikir kritis, berkreasi dan berkomunikasi dalam Bahasa Inggris, dan (3) mengembangkan kerjasama antara Program Studi S2 Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris FKIP UNRAM dengan pemangku kepentingan terutama guru-guru Bahasa Inggris di lingkungan MAN Lombok Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah dengan presentasi untuk menyampaikan informasi tentang pembelajaran kolaboratif dan partisipatif  pemberian model, dan praktik atau latihan terbimbing dan mandiri. Jumlah peserta kegiatan yaitu 30 orang guru di lingkungan MAN Lombok Barat. Luaran kegiatan ini adalah artikel yang diterbitkan pada jurnal Paper akan diterbitkan di Jurnal Pengabdian Darma Diksani.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas profesional guru-guru Pondok Pesantren Darul Iman Wattaqwa NW Boro’ Tumbuh dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran inovatif. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra meliputi rendahnya pemahaman terhadap konsep dan sintaksis model pembelajaran inovatif, keterbatasan dalam merancang LKPD yang sesuai, serta kurangnya kemampuan dalam menyusun rubrik penilaian yang relevan dengan capaian pembelajaran. Melalui tahapan diskusi, pelatihan, praktik, dan evaluasi, kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam merancang serta mengimplementasikan pembelajaran yang aktif, kontekstual, dan berorientasi pada kompetensi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa seluruh peserta menyatakan kegiatan ini bermanfaat dan dapat diaplikasikan dalam konteks pembelajaran di pesantren. Program ini juga mendapat respons positif dari pihak yayasan dan direkomendasikan untuk dilanjutkan serta diperluas cakupannya.

Abstract

Background: Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a condition of chronic hyperglycemia that is often accompanied by various metabolic disorders due to hormonal disorders, which can cause various chronic complications. Based on data from the Kendari City Health Service in 2020, in Kendari City there were 3,030 people suffering from DM and in Lapulu Village, one of the cases was that many people suffered from diabetes mellitus. The aim of this research was to determine Relationship Between Education With Knowledge About Diabetes Mellitus In The Coastal Area Of Lapulu District. Methods: This type of research is quantitative research with a Cross Sectional analysis design. The research population is the people of Lapulu Village, Kendari City. The number of samples in this study was 43 people using a purposive sampling technique. The analysis method used is fisher’s exact test. Results: The results of this study obtained a significant value of p = 0.000 or less than 0.05. Conclusion: There is a relationship between education and knowledge about diabetes mellitus in the Coastal Area of Lapulu Village. Suggestions for community health centers of Abeli to carry out routine activity programs to increase public knowledge about Diabetes Mellitus, namely by conducting routine health education or counseling every month.

Abstract

The complexity of problems in the work environment demands attention to work-life balance (WLB) and job satisfaction as key determinants of employee performance, with work motivation acting as a mediating variable that strengthens the causal relationship between working conditions and individual productivity. This study aims to examine the influence of WLB and job satisfaction on employee performance, focusing on the mediating role of work motivation within a government context. Using a quantitative approach, primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed directly to 70 employees of the Serang District Ministry of Religion Office, and the relationships between variables were tested using PLS-SEM version 4.0. The empirical findings reveal that WLB neither directly nor indirectly influences employee performance. Conversely, job satisfaction significantly affects work motivation, which positively contributes to improving employee performance. Furthermore, work motivation mediates the relationship between job satisfaction and performance, but it does not serve as a mediating factor between WLB and performance. These findings underscore the importance of implementing human resource management strategies centered on performance enhancement to foster a more motivated and productive workforce, which, in turn, can support the efficiency of public sector services and contribute to broader economic growth

Abstract

Produk pariwisata atau desa agrowisata mempunyai karakteristik seperti lingkaran hidup pendek, risiko tinggi, perbedaan tinggi, keberagaman tinggi, tingkat daya saing ketat, dan mudah dicontoh karena industri ini membutuhkan kecerdikan dan inovasi untuk menopang atau memperpanjang siklus hidup produknya. Untuk itu kegiatan dalam industri pariwisata perlu dirancang dalam rangka untuk lebih mensejahterakan masyarakat di daerah wisata tersebut maupun bagi pengunjung (wisatawan). Salah satu konsep pengelolaan dalam upaya memberikan nilai tambah ganda tersebut adalah melalui konsep pengembangan pariwisata berbasis komunitas atau masyarakat terutama di pedesaan. Pariwisata berbasis komunitas (Community Based Tourism) adalah sebuah konsep yang menekankan masyarakat untuk mampu mengelola dan mengembangkan objek wisata oleh mereka sendiri. Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengembangan destinasi wisata melalui konsep Community Based Tourism (CBT) merupakan salah satu solusi dalam pengelolaan suatu kawasan khususnya yang akan dikembangkan menjadi desa wisata, salah satunya Desa Melung yang memiliki potensi berupa landscape alam yang beragam dan luas seperti pesawahan dan perbukitan dengan formasi batuan yang menjadikan kawasan tersebut memiliki nilai ekonomis jika dikelola dengan baik. Potensi tersebut perlu dikelola serta dikembangkan menjadi BUMDES yang dikelola oleh masyarakat setempat selain menambah pendapatan bagi Desa Melung atau pendapatan asli desa (PADes) juga akan berdampak terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat setempat

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk- bentuk tindak tutur ekspresif, asertif, direktif, dan komisif dalam podcast PWK (Podcast Warung Kopi) serta mendeskripsikan maksud tindak tutur tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan pragmatik dan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data simak catat serta analisis data meliputi deskripsi, klasifikasi, analisis, interpretasi, evaluasi, dan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan analisis ini ditemukan berbagai bentuk tindak tutur, yaitu ekspresif, asertif, direktif, dan komisif. Tindak tutur ekspresif ditemukan 32, meliputi mengucapkan terima kasih dan memuji. Tindak tutur asertif ditemukan 21, meliputi memberitahukan dan mengingatkan. Tindak tutur direktif ditermukan 19, meliputi meminta dan menyarankan. Tindak tutur komisif ditemukan 7, meliputi memanjatkan doa serta berniat. Tindak tutur yang paling sering digunakan dalam tiga video tersebut adalah tindak tutur ekspresif, dengan 32 kemunculan. Penelitian ini bermanfaat bagi pembaca yang tertarik mempelajari ilmu pragmatik, khususnya terkait dengan berbagai bentuk dan tujuan dari tindak tutur seperti ekspresif, asertif, direktif, dan komisif.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of women's existence representation in the novel "Terusir" by Hamka. The research data was collected using a qualitative descriptive method with a literary feminism approach. Data collection techniques included library research, reading, and note-taking. The data analysis employed a descriptive approach, involving data classification, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The findings of this study reveal the forms of women's existence representation in three aspects. Firstly, the character of the woman who displays Mariah's character as a woman who is honest, has a strong personality, is independent, never gives up, is patient, weak, afraid, kind, and resigns. Secondly, women's existence is manifested as a strategy of resistance, including their ability to work, become intellectuals, bring about social transformations, and refuse to be someone else. Thirdly, trigger factors for existence that are influenced by gender differences, giving rise to forms of gender injustice experienced by Mariah such as marginalization, subordination, stereotypes, violence, and workload.

Abstract

The 21st century is an era where advances in technology, communication and informatics continue to develop following the times. The developments that occur in the 21st century affect various aspects of education. Where the choice of learning media is very influential in learning so that by utilizing technology that is attractive, picturesque, and easy to carry and anytime one of them is E-book media. The purpose of this study is to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of E-books on Project-Based Learning-based virus materials on science literacy in class X of SMA Santun Untan Pontianak. The research method used is Research and Development (RD) with the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The instruments used include validation sheets, response questionnaires, and posttest pretests. The research sample was taken using a saturated sampling technique, namely with the population of class X of SMA Santun Untan Pontianak. The data analysis techniques used are in the form of validity, practicality, and effectiveness tests. The results of the study showed that the average assessment from material and media experts reached 90.78% with very valid criteria. The average student response questionnaire was 93.12% with very practical criteria. Meanwhile, the average N-Gain from the pretest and posttest results reached 0.78 with high criteria. Based on these results, it can be concluded that e-books assisted by Project Based Learning-based Kodular Websites are very valid, very practical, and effective for students to use as learning support.

Abstract

Organizations can achieve success through their resources, especially human resources. Therefore, employees become the driving force in making a real contribution to the organization's success on an ongoing basis. This study aims to determine the variables that affect teacher performance and develop a theoretical basis and research model. This study used the associative descriptive quantitative method with a population of 37 respondents drawn into samples using non-probability sampling using saturated sampling / total sampling methods—data analysis techniques using linear regression with the help of SPSS software version 26. The results of this study show that the first hypothesis is that organizational culture affects teacher performance. Thus, the second hypothesis states that teacher performance is affected by compensation, meaning that the more appropriate the prize, the more teacher performance increases. The third hypothesis is that teacher performance is influenced by organizational culture and balance that can simultaneously improve teacher performance. This research is expected to make theoretical contributions to the literature in this context, certainly in the context of human resource management.
